Isaiah 32
1 Lo! the kyng schal regne in riytfulnesse, and princes schulen be souereyns in doom.
He aquí, un rey gobernará con justicia, y los jefes tomarán las decisiones correctas.
2 And a man schal be, as he that is hid fro wynd, and hidith hym silf fro tempest; as stremes of watris in thirst, and the schadewe of a stoon stondynge fer out in a desert lond.
Y aquel hombre será como lugar seguro del viento, y como cubierta de la tormenta; como ríos de agua en un lugar seco, como la sombra de una gran roca en un desierto.
3 The iyen of profetis schulen not dasewe, and the eeris of heereris schulen herke diligentli;
Y los ojos de los que ven, no serán cerrados, y los que oigan, oirán la palabra.
4 and the herte of foolis schal vndurstonde kunnyng, and the tunge of stuttynge men schal speke swiftli, and pleynli.
El hombre de impulsos repentinos se volverá sabio de corazón, y el que tenga la lengua lenta, tendrá el poder de hablar claramente.
5 He that is vnwijs, schal no more be clepid prince, and a gileful man schal not be clepid the grettere.
El hombre necio ya no será nombrado noble, y no dirán del hombre falso que es un hombre de honor.
6 Forsothe a fool shal speke foli thingis, and his herte schal do wickidnesse, that he performe feynyng, and speke to the Lord gilefuli; and he schal make voide the soule of an hungry man, and schal take awei drynke fro a thirsti man.
Porque el hombre insensato dirá cosas tontas, con pensamientos malvados en su corazón, obrando lo que es impuro, y hablando falsamente sobre el Señor, deja sin comida a quien lo necesita, y no da agua a aquel cuya alma lo está deseando.
7 The vessels of a gileful man ben worste; for he schal make redi thouytis to leese mylde men in the word of a leesyng, whanne a pore man spak doom.
Los designios de los avaros son malvados, y se proponen la destrucción del pobre por medio de palabras falsas, incluso cuando está en lo correcto.
8 Forsothe a prince schal thenke tho thingis that ben worthi to a prince, and he schal stonde ouer duykis.
Pero el hombre de corazón noble tiene propósitos nobles, y por ellos será guiado.
9 Riche wymmen, rise ye, and here my vois; douytris tristynge, perseyue ye with eeris my speche.
Escuchen mi voz, mujeres que viven cómodamente; presten atención a mis palabras, hijas que no temen al peligro.
10 For whi aftir daies and a yeer, and ye that tristen schulen be disturblid; for whi vyndage is endid, gaderyng schal no more come.
En menos de un año, ustedes, mujeres confiadas, estarán preocupadas, porque los productos de los viñedos serán cortados, y no habrá recolección de fruto.
11 Ye riche wymmen, be astonyed; ye that tristen, be disturblid; vnclothe ye you, and be ye aschamed;
Tiemblen de miedo, mujeres despreocupadas; Preocúpate, tú que no temes al peligro: quítate la túnica y vístete de dolor.
12 girde youre leendis; weile ye on brestis, on desirable cuntrei, on the plenteuouse vyner.
Golpéense él pecho, por los campos agradables, la vid fértil;
13 Thornes and breris schulen stie on the erthe of my puple; hou myche more on alle the housis of ioie of the citee makynge ful out ioie?
Y por la tierra de mi pueblo, por donde vendrán espinas; Incluso por todas las casas de alegría en el alegre pueblo.
14 For whi the hous is left, the multitude of the citee is forsakun; derknessis and gropyng ben maad on dennes, `til in to with outen ende. The ioie of wield assis is the lesewe of flockis;
Porque los palacios no tendrán hombres viviendo en ellas; la ciudad que estaba llena de ruido se convertirá en ruinas; la fortaleza y la torre de vigilancia se mantendrán abiertas para siempre, una alegría para los asnos de los bosques, un lugar de comida para los rebaños;
15 til the spirit be sched out on us fro an hiy, and the desert schal be in to Chermel, and Chermel schal be arettid in to a forest.
Hasta que el espíritu venga de lo alto, y la tierra baldía se convierte en un campo fértil, y el campo fértil se transforma en un bosque.
16 And doom schal dwelle in wildirnesse, and riytfulnesse schal sitte in Chermel;
Entonces en el desierto habrá un gobierno recto, y la justicia tendrá su lugar en el campo fértil.
17 and the werk of riytfulnesse schal be pees, and the tilthe of riytfulnesse schal be stilnesse and sikirnesse, `til in to with outen ende.
Y él producto de la justicia será la paz; y el producto de la justicia es tranquilidad y seguridad para siempre.
18 And my puple schal sitte in the fairnesse of pees, and in the tabernaclis of trist, and in riche reste.
Y mi pueblo vivirá en paz, en casas donde no hay miedo, y en lugares tranquilos de descanso.
19 But hail schal be in the coming doun of the foreste, and bi lownesse the citee schal be maad low.
Y Cuando caiga el granizo los árboles altos caerán, y la ciudad será derribada por completo.
20 Blessid ben ye, that sowen on alle watris, and putten yn the foot of an oxe and of an asse.
Bienaventurado eres tú, que estás sembrando semillas junto a las aguas y sueltas el buey y el asno.
