< Isaiah 24 >

1 Lo! the Lord schal distrie the erthe, and schal make it nakid, and schal turmente the face therof; and he schal scater abrood the dwelleris therof.
Vakai, ʻoku fakamaha ʻe Sihova ʻae fonua, mo fakalala ia, mo ne fulihi ia, pea fakamovetevete ʻa hono kakai.
2 And it schal be, as the puple, so the preest; as the seruaunt, so his lord; as the handmaide, so the ladi of hir; as a biere, so he that sillith; as the leenere, so he that takith borewyng; as he that axith ayen, so he that owith.
Pea ʻe pehē pe, hangē ko ia ʻoku ʻi he kakai, ʻe pehē pe ki he taulaʻeiki; hangē ko e tamaioʻeiki, ʻe pehē pe ki heʻene ʻeiki; hangē ko e kaunanga, ʻe pehē pe ki heʻene ʻeiki fefine; hangē ko e tangata fakatau mai, ʻe pehē pe ki he tangata fakatau atu; hangē ko ia ʻoku tali ʻae nono, ʻe pehē pe ki he tangata kole; hangē ko ia ʻoku ʻi he tangata maʻu totongi nō paʻanga, ʻe pehē ʻi he tangata ʻoku ʻatu ʻae totongi nō paʻanga kiate ia.
3 Bi distriyng the lond schal be distried, and schal be maad nakid by rauyschyng; for whi the Lord spak this word.
‌ʻE fakamaha ʻaupito ʻae fonua, pea fakaʻauha ia: he kuo folofolaʻaki ʻe Sihova ʻae folofola ni.
4 The erthe morenyde, and fleet awei, and is maad sijk; the world fleet awei, the hiynesse of the puple of erthe is maad sijk,
‌ʻOku mamahi ʻae fonua pea mae ia, ʻoku vaivai ʻa māmani pea ʻoku mae, ʻoku vaivai ʻae kakai fieʻeiki ʻoe fonua.
5 and the erthe is slayn of hise dwelleris. For thei passiden lawis, chaungiden riyt, distrieden euerlastynge boond of pees.
Kuo ʻuliʻi foki ʻae fonua ʻi hono kakai; koeʻuhi kuo nau maumauʻi ʻae ngaahi fono, ʻo liliu ʻae tuʻutuʻuni, ʻo maumauʻi ʻae fuakava taʻengata.
6 For this thing cursyng schal deuoure the erthe, and the dwelleris therof schulen do synne; and therfor the louyeris therof schulen be woode, and fewe men schulen be left.
Ko ia kuo ʻauha ai ʻae fonua ʻi he malaʻia, pea ko kinautolu ʻoku nofo ai ʻoku nau mamahi: ko ia kuo tutu ai ʻae kakai ʻo māmani, pea ʻoku toe ʻae tangata tokosiʻi pe.
7 Vyndage morenyde, the vyne is sijk; alle men that weren glad in herte weiliden.
‌ʻOku mamahi ʻae uaine foʻou, ʻoku vaivai ʻae vaine, ʻoku toʻe ʻakinautolu kotoa pē naʻe loto fiefia.
8 The ioie of tympans ceesside, the sowne of glad men restide; the swetnesse of harpe with song was stille.
Kuo ngata ʻae fakafiefia ʻoe ngaahi lali, kuo ʻosi ʻae longoaʻa ʻokinautolu naʻe fiefia, kuo ngata ʻae fakafiefia ʻoe haʻape.
9 Thei schulen not drynke wyn; a bittere drynk schal be to hem that schulen drynke it.
‌ʻE ʻikai te nau kei inu uaine mo e hiva; ʻe kona ʻae kava mālohi kiate kinautolu ʻoku inu ia.
10 The citee of vanyte is al to-brokun; ech hous is closid, for no man entrith.
Kuo maumauʻi hifo ʻae kolo ʻoe maveuveu: kuo tāpuni ʻae ngaahi fale kotoa pē, koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻa hū ki ai ha tangata.
11 Cry schal be on wyn in streetis, al gladnesse is forsakun, the ioie of erthe is `takun awei.
‌ʻOku ai ʻae tangi ki he uaine ʻi he ngaahi hala; kuo fakapoʻuli ʻae fiefia kotoa pē, kuo mole ʻae fiefia ʻi he fonua.
12 Desolacioun is left in the citee, and wretchidnesse schal oppresse the yatis.
Kuo tuku ʻi he kolo ʻae fakaʻauha, pea kuo taaʻi ke lailai hono ngaahi matapā.
13 For these thingis schulen be in the myddis of erthe, in the myddis of puplis, as if a fewe fruitis of olyue trees that ben left ben schakun of fro the olyue tre, and racyns, whanne the vyndage is endid.
ʻOku hoko ʻo pehē ki he kakai ʻoe loto fonua, ʻe ai ʻo hangē ko e lulululu ʻoe ʻakau ko e ʻolive, pea hangē ko e toenga kālepi ʻoka hili hono tānaki mei he vaine.
14 These men schulen reise her vois, and schulen preise, whanne the Lord schal be glorified; thei schulen schewe signes of gladnesse fro the see.
Te nau hiki hake honau leʻo, te nau hiva koeʻuhi ko e māʻolunga ʻa Sihova, te nau kalanga mei he tahi.
15 For this thing glorifie ye the Lord in techyngis; in the ilis of the see glorifie ye the name of the Lord God of Israel.
Ko ia ke mou fakaongoongoleleiʻi ʻa Sihova ʻi he ngaahi afi, ʻio, ʻae huafa ʻo Sihova ko e ʻOtua ʻo ʻIsileli ʻi he ngaahi ʻotu motu ʻoe tahi.
16 Fro the endis of erthe we han herd heriyngis, the glorye of the iust. And Y seide, My priuyte to me, my pryuyte to me. Wo to me, trespassours han trespassid, and han trespassid bi trespassyng of brekeris of the lawe.
Kuo mau fanongo ki he ngaahi hiva mei he ngataʻanga ʻo māmani, ʻio, ko e fakaongolelei ki he māʻoniʻoni. Ka naʻaku pehē, ʻA ʻeku tutue, ʻa ʻeku tutue; ʻe malaʻia au! Kuo fai kākā ʻae kau fai taʻetotonu; ʻio, kuo fai kākā lahi ʻaupito ʻae kakai fai taʻetotonu.
17 Ferdfulnesse, and a diche, and a snare on thee, that art a dwellere of erthe.
‌ʻOku ʻiate koe ʻae ilifia, mo e luo, pea mo e tauhele, ʻa koe ʻoku nofo ʻi māmani.
18 And it schal be, he that schal fle fro the face of ferdfulnesse, schal falle in to the diche; and he that schal delyuere hym silf fro the dich, schal be holdun of the snare; for whi the wyndows of hiye thingis ben openyd, and the foundementis of erthe schulen be schakun togidere.
Pea ʻe hoko ʻo pehē, ko ia ʻoku hola mei he longoaʻa ʻoe ilifia ʻe tō ki he luo; pea ko ia ʻoku ʻalu hake mei he loto luo ʻe moʻua ia ʻi he tauhele: he kuo toʻo ʻae ngaahi matapā ʻi ʻolunga, pea ʻoku ngalulu ʻae ngaahi tuʻunga ʻo māmani.
19 The erthe schal be brokun with brekyng,
Kuo maumau hifo ʻaupito ʻa māmani, kuo ʻauha ʻaupito ʻae fonua, kuo ngalulu lahi ʻaupito ʻa māmani.
20 the erthe schal be defoulid with defoulyng, the erthe schal be mouyd with mouyng, the erthe schal be schakun with schakyng, as a drunkun man.
21 And it schal be takun awei, as the tabernacle of o nyyt, and the wickidnesse therof schal greue it; and it schal falle down, and it schal not adde, for to rise ayen. And it schal be, in that dai the Lord schal visite on the knyythod of heuene an hiy, and on the kyngis of erthe, that ben on erthe.
Pea ʻe hoko ʻo pehē ʻi he ʻaho ko ia, ʻe tautea ʻe Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau ʻae kakai ʻeiki ʻoku ʻi ʻolunga, pea ʻi he māmani ʻae ngaahi tuʻi ʻo māmani.
22 And thei schulen be gaderid togidere in the gadering togidere of a bundel in to the lake, and thei schulen be closid there in prisoun; and aftir many daies thei schulen be visited.
Pea ʻe tānaki fakataha ʻakinautolu, ʻo hangē ʻoku tānaki ʻae kau pōpula ki he luo, pea ʻe tāpuni ʻi he fale fakapōpula, pea hili ʻae ngaahi ʻaho lahi ʻe ʻaahiʻi ʻakinautolu.
23 And the moone schal be aschamed, and the sunne schal be confoundid, whanne the Lord of oostis schal regne in the hil of Sion, and in Jerusalem, and schal be glorified in the siyt of hise eldre men.
Pea ʻe toki puputuʻu ʻae māhina, pea ʻe mā mo e laʻā, koeʻuhi ʻe pule ʻa Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau ʻi hono māfimafi ʻi he moʻunga ko Saione, pea ʻi Selūsalema, pea ʻe ongoongolelei ia ʻi he ʻao ʻoe mātuʻa ʻo hono kakai.
