Isaiah 14
1 It is niy that the tyme therof come, and the daies therof schulen not be maad fer; for whi the Lord schal haue merci of Jacob, and he schal chese yit of Israel, and schal make them for to reste on her lond; a comelyng schal be ioyned to them, and schal cleue to the house of Jacob.
সদাপ্রভু যাকোব কুলের প্রতি সহানুভূতি দেখাবেন; আর একবার তিনি ইস্রায়েলকে বেছে নেবেন এবং তাদের স্বদেশে তাদের অধিষ্ঠিত করবেন। বিদেশিরা তাদের সঙ্গে যোগ দেবে এবং যাকোব কুলের সঙ্গে সংযুক্ত হবে।
2 And puplis schulen holde hem, and schulen brynge hem in to her place. And the hous of Israel schal haue hem in possessioun in to seruauntis and handmaidis on the lond of the Lord; and thei schulen take tho men that token hem, and thei schulen make suget her wrongful axeris.
অন্যান্য জাতি তাদের নিয়ে তাদের স্বদেশে পৌঁছে দেবে। আর ইস্রায়েল কুল সদাপ্রভুর দেশে জাতিসমূহকে তাদের দাস-দাসীরূপে অধিকার করবে। তারা তাদের বন্দিকারীদের বন্দি করবে এবং তাদের পীড়নকারীদের উপরে শাসন করবে।
3 And it schal be in that dai, whanne God schal yyue to thee reste of thi trauel, and of thi shakyng, and of hard seruage, in which thou seruedist bifore,
যেদিন সদাপ্রভু তোমাদের কষ্টভোগ, উদ্বেগ ও নির্মম দাসত্ব থেকে মুক্তি দেবেন,
4 thou schalt take this parable ayens the kyng of Babiloyne, and thou schalt sei, Hou ceesside the wrongful axere, restide tribute?
তোমরা ব্যাবিলনের রাজার বিরুদ্ধে এই ধিক্কারবাণী উচ্চারণ করবে: পীড়নকারীর শেষ সময় কেমন ঘনিয়ে এসেছে! কীভাবে তার ভয়ংকরতা সমাপ্ত হয়েছে!
5 The Lord hath al to-broke the staf of wickid men, the yerde of lordis,
সদাপ্রভু দুষ্টদের লাঠি ও শাসকদের রাজদণ্ড ভেঙে ফেলেছেন,
6 that beet puplis in indignacioun, with vncurable wounde, that sugetide folkis in woodnesse, that pursuede cruely.
যা একদিন অনবরত আঘাত দ্বারা লোকেদের নিধন করত; এবং ক্রোধে নিরন্তর আগ্রাসনের দ্বারা তারা জাতিসমূহকে বশ্যতাধীন করত।
7 Ech lond restide, and was stille; it was ioiful, and made ful out ioie.
সমস্ত দেশ বিশ্রাম ও শান্তি ভোগ করছে; তারা গান গেয়ে আনন্দ করছে।
8 Also fir trees and cedris of the Liban weren glad on thee; sithen thou sleptist, noon stieth that kittith vs doun.
এমনকি, লেবাননের দেবদারু ও সিডার গাছগুলিও এই আনন্দ সংগীত গেয়ে বলে, “এখন যেহেতু তোমাকে নত করা হয়েছে, আর কোনো কাঠুরে আমাদের কাটতে আসে না।”
9 Helle vndur thee is disturblid for the meeting of thi comyng; he schal reise giauntis to thee; alle the princes of erthe han rise fro her seetis, alle the princes of naciouns. (Sheol h7585)
নিম্নস্থ পাতাল তোমার আগমনে, তোমার সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করার জন্য অস্থির হয়েছে; তোমাকে স্বাগত জানানোর জন্য এ তার মৃতজনেদের আত্মাকে তুলে পাঠায় তারা প্রত্যেকেই ছিল এই জগতের এক একজন নেতা। যারা জাতিসমূহের উপরে রাজা ছিল, এ তাদের সিংহাসন থেকে তুলে দাঁড় করায়। (Sheol h7585)
10 Alle thei schulen answere, and thei shulen seie to thee, And thou art woundid as and we, thou art maad lijk vs.
তারা সকলেই প্রত্যুত্তর করবে, তারা সবাই তোমাকে বলবে, “তুমিও আমাদেরই মতো দুর্বল হয়েছ; তুমি আমাদের সদৃশ হয়েছ।”
11 Thi pride is drawun doun to hellis, thi deed careyn felle doun; a mouyte schal be strewyd vndur thee, and thin hilyng schal be wormes. (Sheol h7585)
তোমার বীণাগুলির কোলাহল সমেত তোমার সমস্ত সমারোহ কবরে নামানো হয়েছে; শূককীট তোমার নিচে ছড়ানো হয়েছে, আর কীটেরা তোমাকে আবৃত করে। (Sheol h7585)
12 A! Lucifer, that risidist eerli, hou feldist thou doun fro heuene; thou that woundist folkis, feldist doun togidere in to erthe.
ওহে প্রভাতি তারা, ঊষাকালের সন্তান, তুমি কেমন স্বর্গ থেকে পতিত হয়েছ! তুমি একদিন বিভিন্ন জাতিকে নিপাতিত করেছ, সেই তোমাকেই পৃথিবীতে নিক্ষেপ করা হয়েছে!
13 Which seidist in thin herte, Y schal stie in to heuene, Y schal enhaunse my seete aboue the staris of heuene; Y schal sitte in the hil of testament, in the sidis of the north.
তুমি মনে মনে বলেছিলে, “আমি স্বর্গে আরোহণ করব; ঈশ্বরের নক্ষত্রপুঞ্জেরও ঊর্ধ্বে, আমি আমার সিংহাসন তুলে ধরব; আমি সমাগম পর্বতে, উত্তর দিকের দূরতম প্রান্তে, আমার সিংহাসনে উপবিষ্ট হব।
14 Y schal stie on the hiynesse of cloudis; Y schal be lijk the hiyeste.
আমি মেঘমালার উপরে আরোহণ করব, আমি নিজেকে পরাৎপরের তুল্য করব।”
কিন্তু তোমাকে নামানো হয়েছে কবরের মধ্যে, পাতালের গভীরতম তলে। (Sheol h7585)
16 Thei that schulen se thee, schulen be bowid doun to thee, and schulen biholde thee. Whether this is the man, that disturblid erthe, that schook togidere rewmes?
যারা তোমার দিকে তাকায়, তারা কটাক্ষ করে, তারা তোমার অবস্থা দেখে চিন্তা করে: “এ কি সেই লোক, যে পৃথিবীকে কাঁপিয়ে তুলত, রাজ্যগুলি যার ভয়ে কাঁপত?
17 that settide the world desert, and distried the citees therof, and openyde not the prisoun to the boundun men of hym?
সেই লোক, যে জগৎকে মরুভূমি করে তুলেছিল, যে তার নগরগুলিকে উৎখাত করেছিল ও তার বন্দিদের স্বগৃহে ফিরে যেতে দেয়নি?”
18 Alle the kyngis of hethene men, alle slepten in glorie, a man in his hous.
জাতিসমূহের সমস্ত রাজা রাজকীয় মহিমায় নিজের নিজের কবরে শুয়ে আছেন।
19 But thou art cast out of thi sepulcre, as an vnprofitable stok, as defoulid with rot; and wlappid with hem that ben slayn with swerd, and yeden doun to the foundement of the lake.
কিন্তু তুমি প্রত্যাখ্যাত বৃক্ষশাখার মতো তোমার কবর থেকে বাইরে নিক্ষিপ্ত হয়েছ। যারা তরোয়ালের দ্বারা বিদ্ধ হয়েছিল, তুমি সেই নিহতদের শবে ঢাকা পড়েছ, যাদের পাথরের স্তূপের মধ্যে গর্তে নামিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে, যেভাবে কোনো মৃতদেহকে পদদলিত করা হয়।
20 As a rotun careyn, thou schalt not haue felouschipe, nethir with hem in sepulture, for thou hast lost thi lond, thou hast slayn the puple; the seed of the worst men schal not be clepid with outen ende.
তাদের মতো তোমাকে কবর দেওয়া হবে না, কারণ তুমি তোমার দেশ ধ্বংস করেছ এবং তোমার প্রজাদের হত্যা করেছ। দুষ্টদের বংশধরদের কথা আর কখনও উল্লেখ করা হবে না।
21 Make ye redi hise sones to sleying, for the wickidnesse of her fadris; thei schulen not rise, nether thei schulen enherite the lond, nether thei schulen fille the face of the roundenesse of citees.
তাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের পাপসমূহের জন্য, তার সন্তানদের হত্যা করার জন্য স্থান প্রস্তুত করো; দেশের অধিকার ভোগ করার জন্য তারা আর উঠবে না, নগর পত্তনের দ্বারা তারা আর পৃথিবী আচ্ছন্ন করবে না।
22 And Y schal rise on hem, seith the Lord of oostis, and Y schal leese the name of Babyloyne, and the relifs, and generacioun, and seed, seith the Lord.
“আমি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে উঠে দাঁড়াব,” সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু এই কথা ঘোষণা করেন। “আমি ব্যাবিলন থেকে তার ও তার বেঁচে থাকা লোকদের নাম, তার সন্তানসন্ততি ও বংশধরদের নাম মুছে ফেলব,” সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।
23 And Y schal sette that Babiloyne in to possessioun of an irchoun, and in to mareisis of watris; and Y schal swepe it with a beesme, and Y schal stampe, seith the Lord of oostis.
“আমি তাকে প্যাঁচাদের নিবাসস্থান করব, এবং তা হবে এক জলাভূমির মতো; আমি বিনাশরূপ ঝাড়ু দিয়ে তাকে ঝাঁট দেব,” সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু এই কথা ঘোষণা করেন।
24 The Lord of oostis swoor, seiynge, Whether it schal not be so, as Y gesside, and it schal bifalle so, as Y tretide in soule?
সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু শপথ করে বলেছেন: “আমি যেমন পরিকল্পনা করেছি, নিশ্চিতরূপে সেইরকমই হবে, আর আমার অভিপ্রায় যে রকম, তাই স্থির থাকবে।
25 That Y al to-breke the kyng of Assiriens in my lond, and that Y defoule hym in myn hillis; and his yok schal be takun awei fro hem, and his birthun schal be takun awei fro the schuldur of hem.
আমি স্বদেশে আসিরীয়দের চূর্ণ করব; আমার পর্বতগুলির উপরে, আমি তাকে পদদলিত করব। আমার প্রজাদের উপর থেকে তার জোয়াল সরিয়ে ফেলা হবে, তাদের কাঁধ থেকে তার বোঝা অপসারিত হবে।”
26 This is the councel which Y thouyte on al the lond, and this is the hond stretchid forth on alle folkis.
সমস্ত জগতের জন্য এই পরিকল্পনা স্থির করা হয়েছে; এই হাত সব জাতির উপরে প্রসারিত হয়েছে।
27 For whi the Lord of oostis hath demed, and who mai make vnstidfaste? and his hond is stretchid forth, and who schal turne it awei?
কারণ সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু যে সংকল্প করেছেন, কে তা নাকচ করবে? তাঁর হাত প্রসারিত হয়েছে, কে তা ফিরাতে পারবে?
28 The birthun of Filisteis. In the yeer wheryne kyng Achas diede, this birthun was maad.
রাজা আহসের মৃত্যু বছরে এই ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী উপস্থিত হয়েছিল:
29 Al thou Filistea, be not glad, for the yerde of thi smytere is maad lesse; for whi a cocatrice schal go out of the roote of an eddre, and his seed schal soupe up a brid.
ফিলিস্তিনীরা, যে লাঠি দ্বারা তোমাদের আঘাত করেছিল, তা ভেঙেছে বলে তোমরা উল্লসিত হোয়ো না; কারণ সেই মূল-সাপ থেকে এক কালসাপ নির্গত হবে, জ্বলন্ত উড়ন্ত নাগই হবে তার গর্ভফল।
30 And the firste gendrid of pore men schulen be fed, and pore men schulen reste feithfuli; and Y schal make thi throte to perisch in hungur, and Y schal sle thi relifs.
দরিদ্রদের মধ্যে দরিদ্রতম চারণভূমি পাবে, আর নিঃস্ব-অভাবী মানুষেরা নিরাপদে বিশ্রাম করবে। কিন্তু তোমার মূল আমি দুর্ভিক্ষে ধ্বংস করব; তোমার বেঁচে থাকা লোকদের ধ্বংস করব।
31 Yelle, thou yate; cry, thou citee, al Filistea is cast doun; for whi smoke schal come fro the north, and noon is that schal ascape his oost.
ওহে তোরণদ্বার, বিলাপ করো! ওহে নগর, একটানা আর্তনাদ করো! ফিলিস্তিনী তোমরা সবাই গলে যাও! উত্তর দিক থেকে এক ধোঁয়ার মেঘ আসছে, তাদের সৈন্যশ্রেণীর একজনও স্থানচ্যূত হয় না।
32 And what schal be answerid to the messangeris of folk? for the Lord hath foundid Sion, and the pore men of his puple schulen hope in hym.
সেই জাতির দূতদের কী উত্তর দেওয়া হবে? “সদাপ্রভু সিয়োনকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেছেন, তাঁর ক্লিষ্ট প্রজারা তার মধ্যে আশ্রয়স্থান পাবে।”
