Isaiah 13
1 The birthun of Babiloyne, which birthun Ysaie, the sone of Amos, siy.
Men mesaj Bondye te bay Ezayi, pitit Amòz la, sou lavil Babilòn:
2 Reise ye a signe on a myisti hil, and enhaunse ye vois; reise ye the hond, and duykis entre bi the yatis.
-Mete yon drapo kanpe sou tèt yon mòn kote pa gen pyebwa menm! Rele byen fò pou sòlda yo pare yo! Leve men ou anlè. Ba yo siyal pou y' al atake pòtay lavil grannèg yo!
3 Y haue comaundid to myn halewid men, and Y clepid my stronge men in my wraththe, that maken ful out ioie in my glorie.
Se mwen menm, Seyè a, k'ap bay sèvitè m' yo lòd! M'ap rele tout vanyan sòlda mwen yo, tout moun pa m' yo ki gen kè kontan, k'ap mache tèt anlè, pou yo pini moun k'ap fè m' fè kòlè yo.
4 The vois of multitude in hillis, as of many puplis; the vois of sown of kyngis, of hethene men gaderit togidere. The Lord of oostis comaundide to the chyualry of batel,
Koute yon gwo bri sou mòn yo! Se tankou bri yon gwo foul moun, yon kantite nasyon ak moun tout peyi k'ap sanble. Se Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a k'ap fè enspeksyon lame li a anvan y' al goumen.
5 to men comynge fro a fer lond. The Lord cometh fro the hiynesse of heuene, and the vessels of his strong veniaunce, that he distrie al the lond.
Seyè a move, l'ap vini ansanm ak sòlda ki pral fè sa li ba yo lòd fè a. Y'ap soti byen lwen nan lòt peyi ki nan dènye bout latè pou yo vin ravaje tout peyi a.
6 Yelle ye, for the dai of the Lord is niy; as wastyng it schal come of the Lord.
Nou mèt plenyen kont kò nou, paske jou Seyè a pre rive! Bondye ki gen tout pouvwa a pral vini pou l' devaste tè a.
7 For this thing alle hondis schulen be vnmyyti, and eche herte of man schal faile,
Se poutèt sa, tout moun sou latè pèdi kouraj, kè yo kase!
8 and schal be al to-brokun. Gnawyngis and sorewis schulen holde Babiloyns; thei schulen haue sorewe, as they that trauelen of child. Ech man schal wondre at his neiybore; her cheris schulen be brent faces.
Y'ap rete konsa, yo pral gen doulè ak lakranp nan tout kò yo. Yo pral tòde tankou fanm ansent ki gen tranche. Yonn ap gade lòt san di krik, y'ap rete ak je yo louvri byen gran tèlman y'a wont.
9 Lo! the dai of the Lord schal come, cruel, and ful of indignacioun, and of wraththe, and of woodnesse; to sette the lond into wildirnesse, and to al to-breke the synneris therof fro that lond.
Jou Seyè a ap rive. Seyè a ap san pitye, l'ap fè gwo kòlè, l'ap move anpil. L'ap fè tè a tounen yon dezè, l'ap disparèt dènye moun k'ap fè sa ki mal!
10 For whi the sterris of heuene and the schynyng of tho schulen not sprede abrood her liyt; the sunne is maade derk in his risyng, and the moone schal not schine in hir liyt.
Tout grenn zetwal nan syèl la, tout zetwal Oryon yo p'ap klere ankò. Solèy la ap tou nwa lè li leve, lalin lan menm p'ap klere ankò.
11 And Y schal visite on the yuels of the world, and Y schal visite ayens wickid men the wickidnesse of hem; and Y schal make the pride of vnfeithful men for to reste, and Y schal make low the boost of stronge men.
Seyè a di ankò: -Mwen pral fè dezolasyon tonbe sou tout latè poutèt mechanste moun yo ap fè. Mwen pral pini tout mechan yo poutèt fòfè y'ap fè yo. Mwen pral kraze lògèy tout moun k'ap gonfle lestonmak yo. Mwen pral kraze awogans tout mechan k'ap peze moun anba pye yo.
12 A man of ful age schal be preciousere than gold, and a man schal be preciousere than pure gold and schynyng.
Moun k'ap chape yo ap pi ra pase bon lò, pase bon lò ki soti nan peyi Ofi.
13 On this thing I schal disturble heuene, and the erthe schal be moued fro his place; for the indignacioun of the Lord of oostis, and for the dai of wraththe of his strong veniaunce.
Se poutèt sa, jou mwen menm, Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a, m'a fè move san an, jou m'a fè gwo kòlè mwen an, m'ap fè syèl la tranble, m'ap fè tè a kite plas kote li ye a.
14 And it schal be as a doo fleynge, and as a scheep, and noon schal be that schal gadere togidere; ech man schal turne to his puple, and alle bi hem silf schulen fle to her lond.
Lè sa a, moun lòt nasyon k'ap viv nan peyi Babilòn lan va kouri al lakay yo nan peyi yo, tankou gazèl bèf mawon k'ap kouri pou chasè, tankou mouton san gadò ki gaye nan savann.
15 Ech man that is foundun, schal be slayn; and ech man that cometh aboue, schal falle doun bi swerd.
Y'ap touye tout moun peyi a y'a kontre sou wout yo, y'ap kraze tout moun peyi a y'a bare sou chemen yo.
16 The yonge children of them schulen be hurtlid doun bifore the iyen of them; her housis schulen be rauischid, and her wyues schulen be defoulid.
Y'ap krabinen ti pitit yo la devan je yo, y'ap piye kay yo, y'ap fè kadejak sou madanm yo.
17 Lo! Y schal reise on them Medeis, that seken not siluer, nethir wolen gold;
Seyè a di ankò: -Mwen pral voye moun peyi Medi yo vin atake yo. Se yon bann moun lajan pa di yo anyen, lò pa tante yo.
18 but thei shulen sle litle children bi arowis, and thei schulen not haue merci on wombis yyuynge mylk, and the iye of them schal not spare on sones.
Avèk banza yo, yo pral touye jenn gason. Y'ap san pitye pou timoun fenk fèt. Kè yo p'ap fè yo mal pou timoun piti.
19 And Babiloyne, thilke gloriouse citee in rewmes, noble in the pride of Caldeis, schal be destried, as God destried Sodom and Gomore.
Lavil Babilòn, se yon bijou. Se li ki pi bèl pase tout peyi. Moun peyi Kalde yo plen lògèy, y'ap fè grandizè poutèt li. Men, mwen menm Seyè a, m'ap kraze l' tankou mwen te kraze lavil Sodòm ak lavil Gomò.
20 It shall not be enhabitid til in to the ende, and it schal not be foundid til to generacioun and generacioun; a man of Arabie schal not sette tentis there, and scheepherdis schulen not reste there.
Moun p'ap janm al rete la ankò. L'ap rete san moun pou tout tan. Moun peyi Arabi k'ap mache nan dezè yo p'ap janm moute tant yo bò la, ni ankenn gadò mouton p'ap janm mennen mouton yo vin manje bò la.
21 But wielde beestis schulen reste there, and the housis of hem schulen be fillid with dragouns; and ostrichis schulen dwelle there, and heeri beestis schulen skippe there.
Se la tout bèt nan bwa pral rete. Koukou pral fè nich nan tout kay yo. Se la otrich pral fè kay yo. Se la kabrit mawon pral danse kalenda.
22 And bitouris schulen answere there in the housis therof, and fliynge serpentis in the templis of lust.
Chen mawon pral wouke nan gwo kay yo. Chat mawon pral pran plezi yo nan bèl palè yo. Lè a prèt pou sonnen pou lavil Babilòn, jou l' prèt pou bout.
