Hosea 9
1 Israel, nyle thou be glad, nyle thou make ful out ioie as puplis; for thou hast do fornicacioun fro thi God. Thou louedist meede on alle the cornflooris of wheete.
हे इस्राएल, आनंदित मत हो; दूसरे देशों के समान अति आनंदित मत हो. क्योंकि तुमने अपने परमेश्वर के साथ विश्वासघात किया है; तुम हर एक खलिहान में वेश्यावृत्ति से प्राप्त आय को पसंद करते हो.
2 The cornfloor and pressour schal not feede hem, and wyn schal lie to hem.
खलिहानों और अंगूर के रसकुण्डों से लोगों को भोजन नहीं मिलेगा; नई दाखमधु भी उन्हें नहीं मिलेगी.
3 Thei schulen not dwelle in the lond of the Lord. Effraym turnede ayen in to Egipt, and eet defoulid thing among Assiriens.
वे याहवेह के देश में नहीं रहने पाएंगे; एफ्राईम मिस्र देश को लौट जाएगा और अश्शूर में वे अशुद्ध भोजन खाएंगे.
4 Thei schulen not offre wyn to the Lord, and thei schulen not plese hym. The sacrificis of hem ben as breed of mourneris; alle that schulen ete it schulen be defoulid. For the breed of hem is to the lijf of hem; thei schulen not entre in to the hous of the Lord.
वे याहवेह को अंगूर की दाखमधु का पेय बलि नहीं देंगे, और न ही उनके बलिदान से परमेश्वर खुश होंगे. उस प्रकार का बलिदान उनके लिये शोक करनेवालों के रोटी जैसा है; वे सब जो उसे खाते हैं वे अशुद्ध हो जाएंगे. यह भोजन उनके स्वयं के लिये होगा; इसे याहवेह के मंदिर में नहीं लाया जाएगा.

तुम अपने ठहराए त्योहारों के दिन, याहवेह के भोज के दिनों में क्या करोगे?
6 For lo! thei ben goon out fro distriyng. Egipt schal gadere hem togidere, Memphis schal birie hem. A nettle schal enherite the desirable siluer of hem, a clote schal be in the tabernaclis of hem.
यदि वे विनाश से बच निकलते हैं, तो मिस्र देश उन्हें इकट्ठा करेगा, और मोफ उन्हें दफन कर देगा. कंटीली झाड़ियां उनके चांदी के वस्तुओं को ले लेंगी, और उनके तंबुओं पर कांटे उग आएंगे.
7 Daies of visitacioun ben comun, daies of yeldyng ben comun. Knowe ye, that Israel is a fool, a wood profete, a spiritual man, for the multitude of thi wickidnesse is also the multitude of woodnesse.
दंड के दिन आ रहे हैं, बदला लेने के दिन निकट हैं. इस बात को इस्राएल जान ले. क्योंकि तुम्हारे पाप बहुत हैं और तुम्हारी शत्रुता बहुत ज्यादा है, भविष्यवक्ता को मूर्ख, और आत्मा से प्रेरित व्यक्ति को पागल समझा जाता है.
8 The biholdere of Effraym with my God is a profete; a snare of fallyng is maad now on alle the weies of hym, woodnesse is in the hous of his God.
भविष्यवक्ता, मेरे परमेश्वर के साथ, एफ्राईम के ऊपर पहरेदार है, फिर भी उसके सब रास्तों पर फंदे लगे हुए हैं, और उसके परमेश्वर के भवन में शत्रुता है.
9 Thei synneden deepli, as in the daies of Gabaa. The Lord schal haue mynde on the wickidnesse of hem, and schal visite the synnes of hem.
वे गिबियाह के दिनों के जैसे भ्रष्टाचार में बहुत डूब हुए हैं. परमेश्वर उनकी बुराई को याद करेंगे और उनके पापों के लिये उन्हें दंड देंगे.
10 Y foond Israel as grapis in desert, Y siy the fadris of hem as the firste applis of a fige tree, in the cop therof; but thei entriden to Belfegor, and weren alienyd in confusioun, and thei weren maad abhomynable as tho thingis whiche thei louyden.
“मैंने इस्राएल को ऐसे पाया, जैसे किसी को निर्जन स्थान में अंगूर का मिलना होता है; जब मैंने तुम्हारे पूर्वजों को देखा, तो यह ऐसा था मानो अंजीर के पेड़ में लगे शुरुआती फल को देखना. पर जब वे बाल-पिओर में आये, तो उन्होंने उस लज्जास्पद मूर्ति के लिये अपने आपको पवित्र किया और वे उतने दुष्ट हो गये जितने वे उन चीज़ों से प्रेम करते थे.
11 Effraym as a brid fley awei; the glorye of hem is of childberyng, and of the wombe, and of conseyuyng.
एफ्राईम का गौरव पक्षी की तरह उड़ जाएगा— न किसी का जन्म होगा, न कोई गर्भवती होगी और न ही किसी को गर्भ ठहरेगा.
12 That if thei nurschen her sones, Y schal make hem with out children among men. But also wo to hem, whanne Y schal go awei fro hem.
यदि वे बच्चों का पालन पोषण करते भी हैं, तो मैं हर एक को उनसे ले लूंगा. उन पर हाय जब मैं उनसे दूर हो जाता हूं!
13 Y siy that Effraym was as Tire, foundid in fairnesse; and Effraym schal lede out hise sones to the sleere.
मैंने एफ्राईम को सोर के जैसे मनभावने स्थान में बसे हुए देखा है. पर एफ्राईम अपने बच्चों को वध करनेवाले के पास ले आएगा.”
14 Lord, yyue thou to hem; what schalt thou yyue to hem? yyue thou to hem a wombe with out children, and drie tetis.
हे याहवेह, उन्हें दीजिए— आप उन्हें क्या देंगे? उन्हें ऐसे गर्भ दीजिए, जिससे गर्भपात हो जाता है और ऐसे स्तन दीजिए, जो सूखे हों.
15 Alle the wickidnessis of hem ben in Galgal, for there Y hadde hem hateful; for the malice of her fyndyngis. Y schal caste hem out of myn hous; Y schal not leie to, that Y loue hem. Alle the princes of hem goen awei.
“गिलगाल में उनके सब बुराई के कारण, मैंने उनसे वहां घृणा किया. उनके पापमय कामों के कारण, मैं उन्हें अपने भवन से बाहर निकाल दूंगा. अब मैं उनसे प्रेम नहीं करूंगा; उनके सब अगुए विद्रोही हैं.
16 Effraym is smyten, the roote of hem is dried vp; thei schulen not make fruyt. That thouy thei gendren, Y schal sle the moost louyd thingis of her wombe.
एफ्राईम पर बीमारी लग गई है, उनकी जड़ सूख गई है, उनमें फल नहीं लगते हैं. यदि वे बच्चों को जन्म भी दें, तो मैं उनके पोषित बच्चों को मार डालूंगा.”
17 My God schal caste hem awey, for thei herden not hym; and thei schulen be of vnstable dwellyng among naciouns.
मेरा परमेश्वर उनको अस्वीकार करेगा क्योंकि उन्होंने उसकी बातों को नहीं माना है; वे जाति-जाति के लोगों के बीच भटकते फिरेंगे.
