Hosea 8
1 A trumpe be in thi throte, as an egle on the hous of the Lord; for that that thei yeden ouer my boond of pees, and braken my lawe.
௧உன் வாயிலே எக்காளத்தை வை; அவர்கள் என் உடன்படிக்கையை மீறி, என் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திற்கு விரோதமாகத் துரோகம்செய்ததினால், யெகோவாவுடைய வீட்டின்மேல் எதிரி கழுகைப்போல் பறந்துவருகிறான்.
2 Thei clepiden me to helpe, A! my God, we Israel han knowe thee.
௨எங்கள் தேவனே, உம்மை அறிந்திருக்கிறோம் என்று சொல்லி இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் கூப்பிடுவார்கள்.
3 Israel hath cast awei good, the enemye schal pursue hym.
௩ஆனாலும் இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் நன்மையை வெறுத்தார்கள்; எதிரி அவர்களைத் தொடருவான்.
4 Thei regnyden, and not of me; thei weren princes, and Y knew not. Thei maden her gold and siluer idols to hem, that thei schulden perische.
௪அவர்கள் ராஜாக்களை ஏற்படுத்திக்கொண்டார்கள், ஆனாலும் என்னாலே அல்ல; அதிபதிகளை வைத்துக்கொண்டார்கள், ஆனாலும் நான் அறியேன்; அவர்கள் வேரறுப்புண்டு போகும்படித் தங்கள் வெள்ளியினாலும் தங்கள் பொன்னினாலும் தங்களுக்கு சிலைகளைச் செய்தார்கள்.
5 A! Samarie, thi calf is cast awei; my strong veniaunce is wrooth ayens hem. Hou long moun thei not be clensid?
௫சமாரியாவே, உன் கன்றுக்குட்டி உன்னை வெறுத்துவிடுகிறது; என் கோபம் அவர்கள்மேல் மூண்டது; எதுவரைக்கும் சுத்தமடையாமல் இருப்பார்கள்?
6 for also it is of Israel. A crafti man made it, and it is not god; for the calf of Samarie schal be in to webbis of ireyns.
௬அதுவும் இஸ்ரவேலருடைய செய்கையே; கொல்லன் அதைச் செய்தான், ஆதலால் அது தேவன் அல்லவே, சமாரியாவின் கன்றுக்குட்டி துண்டுதுண்டாகப்போகும்.
7 For thei schulen sowe wynd, and thei schulen repe whirlewynd. A stalke stondynge is not in hem, the seed schal not make mele; that if also it makith mele, aliens schulen ete it.
௭அவர்கள் காற்றை விதைத்து, சூறைக்காற்றை அறுப்பார்கள்; விளைச்சல் அவர்களுக்கு இல்லை; கதிர் மாவைக் கொடுக்கமாட்டாது; கொடுத்தாலும் அந்நியர்கள் அதை விழுங்குவார்கள்.
8 Israel is deuouryd; now Israel is maad as an vnclene vessel among naciouns,
௮இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் விழுங்கப்படுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் இனி அந்நிய மக்களுக்குள்ளே விரும்பப்படாத பாத்திரத்தைப்போல் இருப்பார்கள்.
9 for thei stieden to Assur. Effraym is a wielde asse, solitarie to hym silf. Thei yauen yiftis to louyeris;
௯அவர்கள் தனித்துத் திரிகிற காட்டுக்கழுதையைப்போல் அசீரியர்களிடம் போனார்கள்; எப்பிராயீமர்கள் நேசரைக் கூலிக்கு அமர்த்திக்கொண்டார்கள்.
10 but also with meede thei hiriden naciouns. Now Y schal gadere hem togidere, and thei schulen reste a litil fro birthun of the kyng and of princes.
௧0அவர்கள் அன்னியமக்களைக் கூலிக்கு அமர்த்திக்கொண்டாலும், இப்பொழுது நான் அவர்களைக் கூட்டுவேன்; அதிபதிகளின் ராஜா சுமத்தும் சுமையினால் அவர்கள் கொஞ்சகாலத்திற்குள்ளே அகப்படுவார்கள்.
11 For Efraym multipliede auteris to do synne, auteris weren maad to hym in to trespas.
௧௧எப்பிராயீம் பாவம் செய்வதற்கேதுவாக பலிபீடங்களைப் பெருகச்செய்தார்கள்; ஆதலால் பலிபீடங்களே அவர்கள் பாவம்செய்வதற்கு ஏதுவாகும்.
12 Y schal write to hem my many fold lawis, that ben arettid as alien lawis.
௧௨என் வேதத்தின் மகத்துவங்களை அவர்களுக்கு எழுதிக்கொடுத்தேன்; அவைகளை அந்நிய காரியமாக எண்ணினார்கள்.
13 Thei schulen brynge sacrifices, thei shulen offre, and ete fleischis; and the Lord schal not resseyue tho. Now he schal haue mynde on the wickidnessis of hem, and he schal visite the synnes of hem; thei schulen turne in to Egipt.
௧௩எனக்குச் செலுத்தும் பலிகளின் மாம்சத்தை அவர்கள் பலியிட்டு சாப்பிடுகிறார்கள்; யெகோவா அவர்கள்மேல் பிரியமாக இருக்கமாட்டார்; அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தை அவர் நினைத்து, அவர்களுடைய பாவத்தை விசாரிக்கும்போதோவெனில், அவர்கள் எகிப்திற்குத் திரும்பிப்போவார்கள்.
14 And Israel foryat his makere, and bildide templis to idols, and Judas multipliede stronge citees; and Y schal sende fier in to the citees of hym, and it schal deuoure the housis of hym.
௧௪இஸ்ரவேல் தன்னை உண்டாக்கின தேவனை மறந்து கோவில்களைக் கட்டுகிறான்; யூதா பாதுகாப்பான பட்டணங்களைப் பெருகச்செய்கிறான்; ஆனாலும் நான் அதின் நகரங்களில் அக்கினியை வரச்செய்வேன்; அது அவைகளின் கோவில்களைச் சுட்டெரிக்கும்.
