Hosea 6
1 In her tribulacioun thei schulen rise eerli to me. Come ye, and turne we ayen to the Lord;
När dem illa går, så måste de då bittida söka mig ( och säga ): Kommer, vi vilje till Herran igen; ty han hafver rifvit oss, han helar oss ock; han hafver slagit oss, han förbinder oss ock;
2 for he took, and schal heele vs; he schal smyte, and schal make vs hool.
Efter två dagar gör han oss lefvande; på tredje dagen skall han uppväcka oss, sa att vi få lefva inför honom.
3 He schal quykene vs after twei daies, and in the thridde dai he schal reise vs, and we schulen lyue in his siyt. We schulen wite, and sue, that we knowe the Lord. His goyng out is maad redi at the morewtid, and he schal come as a reyn to vs, which is timeful and lateful to the erthe.
Och så varde vi deruppå aktande, och vinnlägge oss derom, att vi måge känna Herran; ty han kommer fram lika som en skön morgonrodne, och skall komma oss lika som ett regn, såsom ett serlaregn, hvilket landet fuktar.
4 Effraym, what schal Y do to thee? Juda, what schal Y do to thee? Youre merci is as a cloude of the morewtid, and as deew passynge forth eerli.
O! huru väl vill jag göra emot dig, Ephraim; o! huru väl vill jag göra emot dig, Juda; ty den nåd som jag eder bevisa vill, skall vara såsom ett morgonmoln, och lika som en dagg, som om morgonen bittida faller.
5 For this thing Y hewide in profetis, Y killide hem in the wordis of my mouth;
Derföre höflar jag dem genom Propheterna, och dödar dem genom mins muns tal, att din ord måga i ljuset komma.
6 and thi domes schulen go out as liyt. For Y wolde merci, and not sacrifice, and Y wolde the kunnyng of God, more than brent sacrificis.
Ty jag hafver lust till kärlek, och icke till offer; och till Guds kunskap, och icke till bränneoffer.
7 But thei as Adam braken the couenaunt; there thei trespassiden ayens me.
Men de öfverträda förbundet, lika som Adam; deruti förakta de mig.
8 Galaad the citee of hem that worchen idol, is supplauntid with blood; and
Ty Gilead är en stad full med afguderi och blodskulder.
9 as the chekis of men `that ben theues. Partener of prestis sleynge in the weie men goynge fro Sichem, for thei wrouyten greet trespasse.
Och Presterna, samt med sina stallbröder, äro lika som röfvare, hvilke i försåt ligga, och mörda på den vägen till Sichem; ty de göra hvad de vilja.
10 In the hous of Israel Y siy an orible thing; there the fornicaciouns of Effraym.
Jag ser det i Israels hus, der mig före grufvar; ty der bedrifver Ephraim boleri, Israel orenar sig.
11 Israel is defoulid; but also thou, Juda, sette heruest to thee, whanne Y schal turne the caitiftee of my puple.
Men Juda skall ännu hafva en skördeand för sig, när jag mins folks fängelse omvändandes varder.
