Hosea 14

1 Israel, be thou conuertid to thi Lord God, for thou fellist doun in thi wickidnesse.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೋ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಬೀಳುವಿಕೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣ.

2 Take ye wordis with you, and be ye conuertid to the Lord; and seie ye to hym, Do thou awei al wickidnesse, and take thou good; and we schulen yelde the caluys of oure lippis.

ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ: “ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ, ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿರಿ. ಆಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವೆವು.

3 Assur schal not saue vs, we schulen not stie on hors; and we schulen no more seie, Oure goddis ben the werkis of oure hondis; for thou schalt haue merci on that modirles child, which is in thee.

ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸವಾರಿ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದವುಗಳಿಗೆ, ‘ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರುಗಳೇ,’ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಹೇಳುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವರಿಗೆ ಅನುಕಂಪ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.”

4 Y schal make hool the sorewis of hem; Y schal loue hem wilfuli, for my strong veniaunce is turned awei fro hem.

“ನಾನು ಅವರ ಹಿಂಜಾರುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮನಃಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವೆನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವು ಅವರ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.

5 Y schal be as a dew, and Israel schal buriowne as a lilie. And the root therof schal breke out as of the Liban;

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಮಂಜಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುವೆನು. ಅವನು ತಾವರೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೆಳೆಯುವನು. ತನ್ನ ಬೇರುಗಳನ್ನು ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹರಡುವನು.

6 the braunchis therof schulen go. And the glorye therof schal be as an olyue tree, and the odour therof schal be as of the Liban.

ಅವನ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳು ಹರಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅವನ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವು ಎಣ್ಣೆಮರಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅವನ ಪರಿಮಳವು ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ದೇವದಾರಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇರುವುದು.

7 Thei schulen be conuertid, and sitte in the schadewe of hym; thei schulen lyue bi wheete, and schulen buriowne as a vyne. The memorial therof schal be as the wyne of Liban.

ಆತನ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ವಾಸಿಸುವರು, ಧಾನ್ಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ಜೀವಿಸುವರು, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಬಳ್ಳಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಫಲಪ್ರದವಾಗುವರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯು ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುವುದು.

8 Effraym, what schulen idols do more to me? Y schal here him, and Y schal dresse him as a greene fir tree. Thi fruit is foundun of me.

ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮೇ, ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ? ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಅವನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಹಸಿರಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿರುವ ತುರಾಯಿ ಮರದಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಫಲವು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಬರುವುದು.”

9 Who is wijs, and schal vndurstonde these thingis? who is vndurstondyng, and schal kunne these thingis? For the weies of the Lord ben riytful, and iust men schulen go in tho; but trespassours schulen falle in tho.

ಯಾರು ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರು? ಅವರು ಈ ಸತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಯಾರು ವಿವೇಚನೆಯುಳ್ಳವರು? ಅವರು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿವೆ. ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಾರರು ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ಎಡವಿಬೀಳುವರು.
