Haggai 2
1 In the seuenthe monethe, in the oon and twentith dai of the monethe, the word of the Lord was maad in the hond of Aggei, the profete, and seide,
Am einundzwanzigsten Tag des siebenten Monats erging das Wort des Herrn durch den Propheten Aggäus, also lautend:
2 Speke thou to Sorobabel, the sone of Salatiel, the duyk of Juda, and to Jhesu, the gret preest, the sone of Josedech, and to othere of the puple, and seie thou,
"Zum Sohn Salatiels, Zorobabel, dem Statthalter von Juda, sowie zum Hohenpriester Josue, dem Sohne Josadaks, und zu des Volkes Rest sprich also:
3 Who in you is left, that sai this hous in his firste glorie? and what seen ye this now? whether it is not thus, as if it be not bifore youre iyen?
'Wer ist von euch noch übrig, der dies Haus geschaut in seiner ersten Herrlichkeit? Wie aber seht ihr's jetzt? Ist's nicht wie nichts in euren Augen?
4 And now, Sorobabel, be thou coumfortid, seith the Lord, and Jhesu, greet preest, sone of Josedech, be thou coumfortid, and al the puple of the lond, be thou coumfortid, seith the Lord of oostis; and do ye, for Y am with you, seith the Lord of oostis.
Und doch, faß Mut, Zorobabel!' Ein Spruch des Herrn. 'Faß Mut, du Josue, Sohn des Josadak und Hoherpriester! Faß Mut, gesamtes Volk des Landes!' Ein Spruch des Herrn. 'Und haltet doch - ich will ja mit euch sein', ein Spruch des Herrn der Heerscharen -
5 The word that Y couenauntide with you, whanne ye wenten out of the lond of Egipt, and my Spirit schal be in the myddil of you.
'den Bund, den ich bei eurem Auszug aus Ägypten mit euch geschlossen habe! Dann bleibt mein Geist in eurer Mitte, und ihr braucht keine Furcht zu haben!'"
6 Nyle ye drede, for the Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Yit o litil thing is, and Y schal moue heuene, and erthe, and see, and drie lond;
"Denn also spricht der Herr der Heerscharen: 'Noch einmal eine kleine Weile noch, erschüttre ich den Himmel und die Erde, das Meer sowie das trockene Land.
7 and Y schal moue alle folkis, and the desirid to alle folkis schal come; and Y schal fille this hous with glorie, seith the Lord of oostis.
Und ich erschüttre alle Heidenvölker, und aller Heiden Schätze kommen her, und so erfülle ich dies Haus mit Herrlichkeit.' So spricht der Herr der Heerscharen.
8 Myn is siluer, and myn is gold, seith the Lord of oostes.
'Mein ist das Silber, mein das Gold.' Ein Spruch des Herrn der Heerscharen.
9 The glorie of this laste hous schal be greet, more than the firste, seith the Lord of oostis. And in this place Y schal yyue pees, seith the Lord of oostis.
'Und dieses Hauses künftige Pracht wird größer als die des früheren.' So spricht der Herr der Heerscharen. 'An diesem Orte will ich Heil verleihen.' Ein Spruch des Herrn der Heerscharen."
10 In the foure and twentithe dai of the nynthe monethe, in the secounde yeer of kyng Daryus, the word of the Lord was maad to Aggei, the profete, and seide, The Lord God of oostis seith these thingis,
Am vierundzwanzigsten des neunten Monats, im zweiten Jahre des Darius, erging das Wort des Herrn durch den Propheten Aggäus also:
11 Axe thou preestis the lawe, and seie thou,
"So spricht der Herr der Heerscharen: 'Die Priester bitte um Belehrung über dies:
12 If a man takith halewyd fleisch in the hem of his clothing, and touchith of the hiynesse therof breed, ether potage, ether wyn, ether oile, ether ony mete, whether it schal be halewid? Sotheli preestis answeriden, and seiden, Nai.
Trägt jemand heilig Fleisch in seines Kleides Bausch, und er berührt mit seinem Bausche Brot, Gekochtes oder Wein und Öl und sonst etwas Genieß bares, wird dies dadurch geweiht?'" Die Priester gaben drauf zur Antwort: "Nein!"
13 And Aggei seide, If a man defoulid in soule touchith of alle these thingis, whether it schal be defoulid? And prestis answeriden, and seiden, It schal be defoulid.
Da sprach Aggäus: "Berührte aber jene Dinge jemand, der unrein ist durch eine Leiche, so würden sie wohl unrein werden?" Die Priester gaben drauf zur Antwort: "Ja!"
14 And Aggei answeride, and seide, So is this puple, and so is this folc bifor my face, seith the Lord, and so is al werk of her hondis; and alle thingis whiche thei offren there, schulen be defoulid.
Da fuhr Aggäus fort und sprach: "So ist in meinen Augen dieses Volk, so diese Nation beschaffen", ein Spruch des Herrn, "und so auch alle Arbeit ihrer Hände, wohin sie treten, wird es unrein.
15 And nowe putte ye youre hertis, fro this dai and aboue, bifor that a stoon on a stoon was put in temple of the Lord,
Nun denkt vom heutigen Tag in die Vergangenheit zurück, bevor man Stein auf Stein am Heiligtum des Herrn gelegt!
16 whanne ye wenten to an heep of twenti buischels, and there weren maad ten; ye entriden to the pressour, that ye schulden presse out fifti galouns, and there weren maad twenti.
Eh dies geschehen war, wenn einer kam zu einem Haufen Gerste, gut zu zwanzig Maß geschätzt, so waren's nur noch zehn. Wenn einer hin zur Kelter kam, um fünfzig Maß zu schöpfen, so waren's nur noch zwanzig.
17 Y smoot you with brennynge wynd; and with myldew, and hail, alle the werkis of youre hondis; and ther was noon in you that turnede ayen to me, seith the Lord.
Mit Kornbrand schlug ich euch und mit Vergilbung, mit Hagel alles, was ihr angebaut. Doch wolltet ihr von mir nichts wissen." Ein Spruch des Herrn.
18 Putte ye youre hertis fro this dai, and in to comynge, fro the foure and twentithe dai of the nynthe monethe, fro the dai in whiche foundementis of the temple of the Lord ben castun, putte ye on youre herte.
"Nun aber richtet euer Augenmerk von diesem Tag an vorwärts hin, vom vierundzwanzigsten des neunten Monats! Vom Tag an, da man an dem Heiligtum des Herrn den Grundstein legte, gebt acht,
19 Whether now seed is in buriownyng? and yit vineyerd, and fige tre, and pomgarnade, and the tre of olyue flouride not.
ob noch die Saatfrucht in den Speichern schwindet und ob der Weinstock und der Feigenbaum, Granat- und Ölbaum noch nicht tragen! Von diesem Tag an spendete ich Segen."
20 Fro this dai Y schal blesse. And the word of the Lord was maad the secounde tyme to Aggei, in the foure and twentithe dai of the monethe,
Zum zweitenmal erging das Wort des Herrn am vierundzwanzigsten desselben Monats an Aggäus, also lautend:
21 and seide, Spek thou to Sorobabel, duik of Juda, and seie thou, Y shal moue heuene and erthe togidere, and Y schal distrie the seet of rewmes,
"Zum Statthalter von Juda, zu Zorobabel sprich also: Ich werde jetzt den Himmel und die Erde tief erschüttern.
22 and Y schal al to-breke the strengthe of rewme of hethene men, and schal distrie a foure horsid carte, and the stiere therof; and horsis schulen go doun, and stieris of hem, a man bi swerd of his brother.
Die Königsthrone stürz ich um. Die Rosse samt den Reitern sinken hin, ein jeder durch des andern Schwert.
23 In that dai, seith the Lord of oostis, thou Sorobabel, sone of Salatiel, my seruaunt, Y schal take thee, seith the Lord; and Y schal putte thee as a signet, for Y chees thee, seith the Lord of oostis.
An jenem Tag", ein Spruch des Herrn der Heerscharen, "da nehm ich dich, Zorobabel, Salatiels Sohn, zu meinem Diener", ein Spruch des Herrn, "und hüte dich wie einen Siegelring. Dich habe ich erkoren." Ein Spruch des Herrn der Heerscharen.
