Genesis 9
1 And God blisside Noe and hise sones, and seide to hem, Encreesse ye, and be ye multiplied, and fille ye the erthe;
Kisha Mungu akambariki Nuhu na wanawe, na kuwaambia, “Zaeni, mkaongezeke, na muijaze nchi.
2 and youre drede and tremblyng be on alle vnresonable beestis of erthe, and on alle briddis of heuene, with alle thingis that ben moued in erthe; alle fischis of the see ben youun to youre hond.
Hofu na utisho wenu vitakuwa juu ya kila mnyama aliye hai juu ya nchi, juu ya kila ndege wa angani, juu ya kila kitu kiendacho chini juu ya ardhi, na juu ya samaki wote wa baharini. Vimetolewa katika mikono yenu.
3 And al thing which is moued and lyueth schal be to you in to mete; Y have youe to you alle thingis as greene wortis,
Kila kitu kiendacho kilicho hai kitakuwa chakula kwa ajili yenu. Kama nilivyo wapa mimea, sasa nawapa kila kitu.
4 outakun that ye schulen not ete fleisch with blood,
Lakini msile nyama pamoja na uhai wake - yaani damu yake - ndani yake.
5 for Y schal seke the blood of youre lyues of the hoond of alle vnresonable beestis and of the hoond of man, of the hoond of man and of hys brother Y schal seke the lijf of man.
Lakini kwa ajili ya damu yenu, uhai uliomo katika damu yenu nitataka malipo. Kutoka katika mkono wa kila mnyama nitaitaka. Kutoka katika mkono wa kila mtu, yaani, kutoka katika mkono wa yule ambaye amemuua ndugu yake, nitataka fidia kwa ajili ya uhai wa mtu huyo.
6 Who euere schedith out mannus blood, his blood schal be sched; for man is maad to the ymage of God.
Yeyote amwagaye damu ya mtu, kwa njia ya mtu damu yake itamwagwa, kwa sababu ilikuwa ni katika mfano wa Mungu kwamba Mungu alimuumba mtu.
7 Forsothe encreesse ye, and be ye multiplied, and entre ye on erthe, and fille ye it, Also the Lord seide thes thingis to Noe,
Na hivyo nanyi zaeni na kuongezeka, sambaeni katika inchi yote na muongezeke juu yake.”
8 and to his sones with him, Lo!
Kisha Mungu akazungumza na Nuhu na wanae pamoja naye, akisema,
9 Y schal make my couenaunt with you, and with your seed after you,
“Kwa ajili yangu, sikiliza! Ninakwenda kulithibitisha agano langu pamoja nawe na uzao wenu baada yenu,
10 and to ech lyuynge soule which is with you, as wel in briddis as in werk beestis and smale beestis of erthe, and to alle thingis that yeden out of the schip, and to alle vnresonable beestis of erthe.
na kwa kila kiumbe hai kilicho pamoja nawe, pamoja na ndege, mnyama wa kufugwa, na kila kiumbe cha nchi pamoja nawe, kuanzia kwa wote waliotoka kwenye safina, mpaka kwa kila kiumbe hai juu ya nchi.
11 Y schal make my couenaunt with you, and ech fleisch schal no more be slayn of the watris of the greet flood, nethir the greet flood distriynge al erthe schal be more.
Kwa sababu hii ninalithibitisha agano langu pamoja nanyi, kwamba hapatatokea kuangamizwa kwa mwenye mwili kwa njia ya maji ya gharika. Tena hapatatokea gharika ya kuangamiza nchi.”
12 And God seide, This is the signe of boond of pees, which Y yyue bitwixe me and you, and to ech lyuynge soule which is with you, in to euerlastynge generaciouns.
Mungu akasema, “na hii ndiyo ishara ya agano ambalo ninafanya kati yangu na ninyi pamoja na kila kiumbe hai kilicho pamoja nanyi, kwa vizazi vyote vya baadaye:
13 Y schal sette my bowe in the cloudis, and it schal be a signe of boond of pees bitwixe me and erthe;
Nimeweka upinde wangu wa mvua katika wingu, na itakuwa ndiyo ishara ya agano kati yangu na nchi.
14 and whanne Y schal hile heuene with cloudis, my bowe schal appere in the cloudis,
Hata itakuwa nitakapoleta wingu juu ya nchi na upinde wa mvua ukaonekana katika wingu,
15 and Y schal haue mynde of my boond of pees which Y made with you, and with ech soule lyuynge, that nurschith fleisch; and the watris of the greet flood schulen no more be to do awey al fleish.
ndipo nitakumbuka agano langu, ambalo ni kati yangu na ninyi na kila kiumbe hai cha wote mwenye mwili. Maji hayatafanyika tena gharika kuharibu wote wenye mwili.
16 And my bowe schal be in the cloudis, and Y schal se it, and Y schal haue mynde of euerlastynge boond of pees, which is maad bitwixe God and man, and ech soul lyuynge of al fleisch which is on erthe.
Upinde wa mvua utakuwa katika mawingu na nitauona, ili kukumbuka agano la milele kati ya Mungu na kila kiumbe hai cha wote wenye mwili ambacho kiko juu ya nchi.”
17 And God seide to Noe, This schal be a signe of boond of pees, which Y made bitwixe me and ech fleisch on erthe.
Kisha Mungu akamwambia Nuhu, “Hii ni ishara ya agano ambalo nimelithibitisha kati yangu na wenye mwili wote ambao wako juu ya nchi.”
18 Therfore thei that yeden out of the schip weren Noe, Sem, Cham, and Japheth; forsothe Cham, thilke is the fadir of Chanaan.
Wana wa Nuhu ambao walitoka katika safina walikuwa ni Shemu, Hamu, na Yafethi. Na Hamu akamzaa kanaani.
19 These thre weren the sones of Noe, and al the kynde of men was sowun of hem on al erthe.
Watatu hawa walikuwa ndio wana wa Nuhu, na kutokea kwa hawa nchi yote ikajaa watu.
20 And Noe, an erthe tiliere, bigan to tile the erthe, and he plauntide a viner,
Nuhu akaanza kuwa mkulima, na akapanda mizabibu.
21 and he drank wyn, and was drunkun; and he was nakid, and lay in his tabernacle.
Akanywa sehemu ya divai na akalewa. Akawa amelala hemeani uchi.
22 And whanne Cham, the fadir of Chanaan, hadde seien this thing, that is, that the schameful membris of his fadir weren maad nakid, he telde to hise tweye britheren with out forth.
Kisha Hamu, baba yake na Kanaani, akaona uchi wa baba yake na akawaambia ndugu zake wawili waliokuwa nje.
23 And sotheli Sem and Jafeth puttiden a mentil on her schuldris, and thei yeden bacward, and hileden the schameful membris of her fadir, and her faces weren turned awei, and thei sien not the priuy membris of her fadir.
Kwa hiyo Shemu na Yafethi wakachukua kanzu wakaitanda juu ya mabega yao, na wakatembea kinyumenyume na wakaufunika uchi wa baba yao. Nyuso zao zikiwa zimegeuka nyuma upande mwingine, kwa hiyo hawakuona uchi wa baba yao.
24 And forsothe Noe wakide of the wyn, and whanne he hadde lerned what thingis his lesse sone hadde do to hym,
Nuhu alipozinduka kutoka katika ulevi wake, alijua ni jambo gani mtoto wake mdogo amemfanyia.
25 he seide, Cursid be the child Canaan, he schal be seruaunt of seruauntis to hise britheren.
Hivyo akasema, “Alaaniwe Kanaani. Na awe mtumishi kwa watumishi wa ndugu zake.”
26 And Noe seide, Blessid be the Lord God of Sem,
Akasema pia, Yahwe, Mungu wa Shemu, abarikiwe, Kanaani na awe mtumwa wake.
27 and Chanaan be the seruaunt to Sem; God alarge Jafeth, and dwelle in the tabernaclis of Sem, and Chanaan be seruaunt of hym.
Mungu na apanuwe mipaka ya Yafethi, na afanye makazi yake katika hema za Shemu. Kanaani na awe mtumwa wake.”
28 Forsothe Noe lyuede aftir the greet flood thre hundrid and fifti yeer;
Baada ya gharika, Nuhu aliishi miaka miatatu na hamsini.
29 and alle the daies of hym weren fillid nyn hundrid and fifty yeer, and he was deed.
Siku zote za Nuhu zilikuwa ni miaka mia tisa na hamsini, na kisha alikufa.
