Genesis 7
1 Also the Lord seide to Noe, Entre thou and al thin hous in to the schip, for Y seiy thee iust bifore me in this generacioun.
அதன்பின் யெகோவா நோவாவிடம், “நீயும் உன் முழுக் குடும்பமும் பேழைக்குள் போங்கள், ஏனெனில், உன்னையே நான் இந்த சந்ததியில் நீதியானவனாகக் கண்டேன்.
2 Of alle clene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female; forsothe of vnclene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female;
மேலும், நீ சுத்தமான விலங்குகளில் ஒவ்வொரு வகையிலுமிருந்து ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாக ஏழு ஜோடிகளையும், சுத்தமில்லாத விலங்குகளில் ஒவ்வொரு வகையிலுமிருந்து ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாக ஒரு ஜோடியையும்,
3 but also of volatils of heuene thou schalt take, bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female, that her seed be saued on the face of al erthe.
பறவைகளில் ஒவ்வொரு வகையிலுமிருந்து ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாக ஏழு ஜோடிகளையும் உன்னுடன் எடுத்துக்கொள்; ஏனெனில் பூமி முழுவதிலும் அவைகளின் பல்வேறு வகைகள் தொடர்ந்து உயிர் வாழவேண்டும்.
4 For yit and aftir seuene daies Y schal reyne on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis, and Y schal do awey al substaunce which Y made, fro the face of erthe.
இன்னும் ஏழு நாட்களில், நாற்பது இரவுகளும் நாற்பது பகல்களும் தொடர்ந்து பூமியின்மேல் மழையை அனுப்பி, நான் உண்டாக்கிய எல்லா உயிரினங்களையும் பூமியின் மேற்பரப்பிலிருந்து அழித்துப்போடுவேன்” என்றார்.
5 Therfor Noe dide alle thingis whiche the Lord comaundide to hym.
யெகோவா தனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்ட எல்லாவற்றையும் நோவா செய்தான்.
6 And he was of sixe hundrid yeer, whanne the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.
பூமியின்மேல் பெருவெள்ளம் உண்டானபோது, நோவாவுக்கு 600 வயதாய் இருந்தது.
7 And Noe entride in to the schip, and hise sones, and hise wijf, and the wyues of his sones, entriden with him for the watris of the greet flood.
பெருவெள்ளத்துக்குத் தப்பும்படி நோவாவும், அவன் மனைவியும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும், அவர்களின் மனைவிமாரும் பேழைக்குள் போனார்கள்.
8 And of lyuynge beestis clene and vnclene, and of briddis of heuene, and of ech beeste which is moued on erthe,
சுத்தமானதும், அசுத்தமானதுமான மிருகங்கள், பறவைகள், நிலத்தில் ஊரும் உயிரினங்கள் யாவும் ஜோடி ஜோடியாக,
9 bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female entriden to Noe in to the schip, as the Lord comaundide to Noe.
இறைவன் நோவாவுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாக நோவாவிடம் வந்து பேழைக்குள் சென்றன.
10 And whanne seuene daies hadden passid, the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.
ஏழு நாட்களுக்குப்பின், பூமியின்மேல் பெருவெள்ளம் வந்தது.
11 In the sixe hundrid yeer of the lijf of Noe, in the secunde moneth, in the seuententhe dai of the moneth, alle the wellis of the greet see weren brokun, and the wyndowis of heuene weren opened,
நோவாவுக்கு 600 வயதான அந்த வருடம், இரண்டாம் மாதம், பதினேழாம் நாள் பூமியின் அதிக ஆழத்திலிருந்த ஊற்றுகள் எல்லாம் வெடித்துப் பீறிட்டன; வானத்தின் மதகுகளும் திறக்கப்பட்டன.
12 and reyn was maad on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis.
நாற்பது பகல்களும் நாற்பது இரவுகளும் பூமியில் அடைமழை பெய்தது.
13 In the ende of that dai Noe entride, and Sem, Cham, and Japheth, hise sones, his wijf, and the wyues of hise sones, entriden with hem into the schip.
மழை தொடங்கிய அன்றே நோவாவும், அவன் மனைவியும், சேம், காம், யாப்பேத் என்னும் அவனுடைய மகன்களும், அவர்களுடைய மனைவிமாரும் பேழைக்குள் போனார்கள்.
14 Thei entriden, and ech beeste bi his kynde, and alle werk beestis in her kynde, and ech beeste which is moued on erthe in his kynde, and ech volatil bi his kynde; alle briddis and alle volatils entriden to Noe in to the schip,
எல்லாவித காட்டு மிருகங்களும் அதினதின் வகைகளின்படியும், எல்லாவித வளர்ப்பு மிருகங்களும் அதினதின் வகைகளின்படியும், தரையில் ஊரும் எல்லாவித உயிரினங்களும் அதினதின் வகைகளின்படியும், எல்லாவித பறவைகளும் அதினதின் வகைகளின்படியும், சிறகுகளுடைய யாவும் அவர்களோடு இருந்தன.
15 bi tweyne and bi tweyne of ech fleisch in whiche the spirit of lijf was.
பூமியிலுள்ள உயிர்மூச்சுள்ள எல்லா உயிரினங்களும் ஜோடி ஜோடியாக நோவாவிடம் வந்து பேழைக்குள் சென்றன.
16 And tho that entriden, entriden male and female of ech fleisch, as God comaundide to hym. And the Lord encloside hym fro with out-forth.
இறைவன் நோவாவுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, உட்சென்ற எல்லா விலங்குகளும் ஒவ்வொரு உயிரினத்தையும் சேர்ந்த ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாகவே இருந்தன. யெகோவா நோவாவை உள்ளேவிட்டுக் கதவை அடைத்தார்.
17 And the greet flood was maad fourti daies and fourti niytis on erthe, and the watris weren multiplied, and reiseden the schip on hiy fro erthe.
வெள்ளம் நாற்பது நாட்களாகப் பூமியின்மேல் பெருகிக்கொண்டே இருந்தது, வெள்ளம் பெருகியபோது அது பேழையை நிலத்திற்கு மேலாக உயர்த்தியது.
18 The watris flowiden greetli, and filliden alle thingis in the face of erthe. Forsothe the schip was borun on the watris.
பூமியின்மேல் வெள்ளம் உயர்ந்து, பேழை நீரின்மேல் மிதந்தது.
19 And the watris hadden maistrie greetli on erthe, and alle hiye hillis vndur alle heuene weren hilid;
வெள்ளம் பூமியின்மேல் அதிகமாய்ப் பெருகியதால், வானத்தின் கீழுள்ள உயர்ந்த மலைகளெல்லாம் மூடப்பட்டன.
20 the watyr was hiyere bi fiftene cubitis ouer the hilis whiche it hilide.
வெள்ளம் மலைகளுக்கு மேலாக பதினைந்து முழத்திற்கு மேல் உயர்ந்து அவைகளை மூடியது.
21 And ech fleisch was wastid that was moued on erthe, of briddis, of lyuynge beestis, of vnresonable beestis, and of alle `reptilis that crepen on erthe.
அப்பொழுது பூமியில் நடமாடிய பறவைகள், காட்டு மிருகங்கள், வளர்ப்பு மிருகங்கள் ஆகிய எல்லா உயிரினங்களும், பூமியில் கூட்டமாய்த் திரியும் எல்லா பிராணிகளும் அழிந்துபோயின; அத்துடன் மனுக்குலம் முழுவதும் அழிந்துபோனது.
22 Alle men, and alle thingis in whiche the brething of lijf was in erthe, weren deed.
நிலத்தில் வாழ்ந்த தங்களது நாசியில் உயிர்மூச்சுள்ள யாவும் மாண்டுபோயின.
23 And God dide awei al substaunce that was on erthe, fro man til to beeste, as wel a crepynge beeste as the briddis of heuene; and tho weren doon awei fro erthe. Forsothe Noe dwellide aloone, and thei that weren with hym in the schip.
பூமியிலிருந்த எல்லா உயிரினங்களும் அழிக்கப்பட்டன; மனிதர்களுடன், மிருகங்கள், தரையில் ஊரும் உயிரினங்கள், ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள் ஆகிய எல்லாமே பூமியிலிருந்து அழிக்கப்பட்டன. நோவாவும் அவனுடன் பேழைக்குள் இருந்தவர்களும் மாத்திரம் உயிர் தப்பினார்கள்.
24 And the watris of the greet flood ouereyeden the erthe an hundrid and fifti daies.
பெருவெள்ளம் நூற்று ஐம்பது நாட்களாக பூமியை மூடியிருந்தது.
