Genesis 7
1 Also the Lord seide to Noe, Entre thou and al thin hous in to the schip, for Y seiy thee iust bifore me in this generacioun.
Depois disse o Senhor a Noé: Entra tu e toda a tua casa na arca: porque te hei visto justo diante de mim n'esta geração.
2 Of alle clene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female; forsothe of vnclene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female;
De todo o animal limpo tomarás para ti sete e sete, macho e sua femea; mas dos animaes que não são limpos, dois, o macho e sua femea.
3 but also of volatils of heuene thou schalt take, bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female, that her seed be saued on the face of al erthe.
Tambem das aves dos céus sete e sete, macho e femea, para conservar em vida a semente sobre a face de toda a terra.
4 For yit and aftir seuene daies Y schal reyne on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis, and Y schal do awey al substaunce which Y made, fro the face of erthe.
Porque, passados ainda sete dias, farei chover sobre a terra quarenta dias e quarenta noites; e desfarei de sobre a face da terra toda a substancia que fiz.
5 Therfor Noe dide alle thingis whiche the Lord comaundide to hym.
E fez Noé conforme a tudo o que o Senhor lhe ordenára.
6 And he was of sixe hundrid yeer, whanne the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.
E era Noé da edade de seiscentos annos, quando o diluvio das aguas veiu sobre a terra.
7 And Noe entride in to the schip, and hise sones, and hise wijf, and the wyues of his sones, entriden with him for the watris of the greet flood.
E entrou Noé, e seus filhos, e sua mulher, e as mulheres de seus filhos com elle na arca, por causa das aguas do diluvio.
8 And of lyuynge beestis clene and vnclene, and of briddis of heuene, and of ech beeste which is moued on erthe,
Dos animaes limpos, e dos animaes que não são limpos, e das aves, e de todo o reptil sobre a terra,
9 bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female entriden to Noe in to the schip, as the Lord comaundide to Noe.
Entraram de dois em dois a Noé na arca, macho e femea, como Deus ordenára a Noé.
10 And whanne seuene daies hadden passid, the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.
E aconteceu que, passados sete dias, vieram sobre a terra as aguas do diluvio.
11 In the sixe hundrid yeer of the lijf of Noe, in the secunde moneth, in the seuententhe dai of the moneth, alle the wellis of the greet see weren brokun, and the wyndowis of heuene weren opened,
No anno seiscentos da vida de Noé, no mez segundo, aos dezesete dias do mez, n'aquelle mesmo dia se romperam todas as fontes do grande abysmo, e as janellas dos céus se abriram,
12 and reyn was maad on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis.
E houve chuva sobre a terra quarenta dias e quarenta noites.
13 In the ende of that dai Noe entride, and Sem, Cham, and Japheth, hise sones, his wijf, and the wyues of hise sones, entriden with hem into the schip.
E no mesmo dia entrou Noé, e Sem, e Cão, e Japhet, os filhos de Noé, como tambem a mulher de Noé, e as tres mulheres de seus filhos com elle na arca.
14 Thei entriden, and ech beeste bi his kynde, and alle werk beestis in her kynde, and ech beeste which is moued on erthe in his kynde, and ech volatil bi his kynde; alle briddis and alle volatils entriden to Noe in to the schip,
Elles, e todo o animal conforme a sua especie, e todo o gado conforme a sua especie, e todo o reptil que se roja sobre a terra conforme a sua especie, e toda a ave conforme a sua especie, todo o passaro de toda a qualidade.
15 bi tweyne and bi tweyne of ech fleisch in whiche the spirit of lijf was.
E de toda a carne, em que havia espirito de vida, entraram de dois em dois a Noé na arca.
16 And tho that entriden, entriden male and female of ech fleisch, as God comaundide to hym. And the Lord encloside hym fro with out-forth.
E os que entraram, macho e femea de toda a carne entraram, como Deus lhe tinha ordenado: e o Senhor o fechou por fóra.
17 And the greet flood was maad fourti daies and fourti niytis on erthe, and the watris weren multiplied, and reiseden the schip on hiy fro erthe.
E esteve o diluvio quarenta dias sobre a terra, e cresceram as aguas, e levantaram a arca, e ella se elevou sobre a terra.
18 The watris flowiden greetli, and filliden alle thingis in the face of erthe. Forsothe the schip was borun on the watris.
E prevaleceram as aguas, e cresceram grandemente sobre a terra; e a arca andava sobre as aguas.
19 And the watris hadden maistrie greetli on erthe, and alle hiye hillis vndur alle heuene weren hilid;
E as aguas prevaleceram excessivamente sobre a terra; e todos os altos montes, que havia debaixo de todo o céu, foram cobertos.
20 the watyr was hiyere bi fiftene cubitis ouer the hilis whiche it hilide.
Quinze covados acima prevaleceram as aguas; e os montes foram cobertos.
21 And ech fleisch was wastid that was moued on erthe, of briddis, of lyuynge beestis, of vnresonable beestis, and of alle `reptilis that crepen on erthe.
E expirou toda a carne que se movia sobre a terra, tanto de ave como de gado e de feras, e de todo o reptil que se roja sobre a terra, e todo o homem.
22 Alle men, and alle thingis in whiche the brething of lijf was in erthe, weren deed.
Tudo o que tinha folego de espirito de vida em seus narizes, tudo o que havia no secco, morreu.
23 And God dide awei al substaunce that was on erthe, fro man til to beeste, as wel a crepynge beeste as the briddis of heuene; and tho weren doon awei fro erthe. Forsothe Noe dwellide aloone, and thei that weren with hym in the schip.
Assim foi desfeita toda a substancia que havia sobre a face da terra, desde o homem até ao animal, até ao reptil, e até á ave dos céus; e foram extinctos da terra: e ficou somente Noé, e os que com elle estavam na arca.
24 And the watris of the greet flood ouereyeden the erthe an hundrid and fifti daies.
E prevaleceram as aguas sobre a terra cento e cincoenta dias.
