Genesis 7
1 Also the Lord seide to Noe, Entre thou and al thin hous in to the schip, for Y seiy thee iust bifore me in this generacioun.
Dann sprach der Herr zu Noe: "Zieh du mit deinem ganzen Hause in die Arche! Denn dich habe ich gerecht vor mir in diesem Geschlecht erfunden.
2 Of alle clene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female; forsothe of vnclene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female;
Von allen reinen Tieren nimm dir je sieben, jeweils ein Männchen und ein Weibchen! Doch von den Tieren, die nicht rein, jeweils nur zwei, ein Männchen und ein Weibchen!
3 but also of volatils of heuene thou schalt take, bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female, that her seed be saued on the face of al erthe.
Auch von des Himmels Vögeln jeweils sieben, ein männliches und weibliches, um auf der ganzen Erde einen Stamm am Leben zu erhalten.
4 For yit and aftir seuene daies Y schal reyne on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis, and Y schal do awey al substaunce which Y made, fro the face of erthe.
Von jetzt ab über sieben Tage lasse ich auf die Erde regnen durch vierzig Tage und durch vierzig Nächte, und ich vertilge alsdann alles Lebende, das ich gemacht, vom Erdboden."
5 Therfor Noe dide alle thingis whiche the Lord comaundide to hym.
Und Noe tat ganz so, wie ihn der Herr geheißen hatte.
6 And he was of sixe hundrid yeer, whanne the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.
Noe aber war 600 Jahre alt geworden, als die Wasserflut über die Erde kam.
7 And Noe entride in to the schip, and hise sones, and hise wijf, and the wyues of his sones, entriden with him for the watris of the greet flood.
So ging Noe mit seinen Söhnen, seinem Weibe und seinen Schwiegertöchtern in die Arche vor den Wassern der Flut.
8 And of lyuynge beestis clene and vnclene, and of briddis of heuene, and of ech beeste which is moued on erthe,
Von den reinen und unreinen Tieren, von den Vögeln und von allem, was auf Erden kriecht,
9 bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female entriden to Noe in to the schip, as the Lord comaundide to Noe.
waren paarweise zu Noe in die Arche gegangen je ein Männliches und ein Weibliches, wie Gott dem Noe geboten hatte.
10 And whanne seuene daies hadden passid, the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.
Nach sieben Tagen geschah es, da waren die Wasser der Flut schon über die Erde gekommen.
11 In the sixe hundrid yeer of the lijf of Noe, in the secunde moneth, in the seuententhe dai of the moneth, alle the wellis of the greet see weren brokun, and the wyndowis of heuene weren opened,
Im 600. Lebensjahre des Noe, am 17. Tage des 2. Monats, an diesem Tage brachen alle Sprudel des großen Meeres auf, und die Himmelsluken öffneten sich.
12 and reyn was maad on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis.
Und Regen strömte auf die Erde 40 Tage und 40 Nächte lang.
13 In the ende of that dai Noe entride, and Sem, Cham, and Japheth, hise sones, his wijf, and the wyues of hise sones, entriden with hem into the schip.
An eben diesem Tage waren Noe und Noes Söhne Sem, Cham und Japhet, sowie sein Weib und seine drei Schwiegertöchter mit ihnen in die Arche gegangen,
14 Thei entriden, and ech beeste bi his kynde, and alle werk beestis in her kynde, and ech beeste which is moued on erthe in his kynde, and ech volatil bi his kynde; alle briddis and alle volatils entriden to Noe in to the schip,
sie und alle Tiere nach ihrer Art und alles Vieh nach seiner Art und alles Gewürm, das auf Erden kriecht, nach seiner Art und alle Vögel nach ihrer Art, was irgendwie Flügel hatte.
15 bi tweyne and bi tweyne of ech fleisch in whiche the spirit of lijf was.
Sie gingen zu Noe in die Arche, je ein Paar von allem Fleisch mit Lebensodem.
16 And tho that entriden, entriden male and female of ech fleisch, as God comaundide to hym. And the Lord encloside hym fro with out-forth.
Die Einziehenden waren nun, je ein Männliches und Weibliches von jedem Fleische, eingezogen, so wie ihm Gott befohlen. Da schloß der Herr hinter ihm zu.
17 And the greet flood was maad fourti daies and fourti niytis on erthe, and the watris weren multiplied, and reiseden the schip on hiy fro erthe.
Vierzig Tage kam die Flut über die Erde. Und das Wasser wuchs und hob die Arche, daß sie über der Erde schwebte.
18 The watris flowiden greetli, and filliden alle thingis in the face of erthe. Forsothe the schip was borun on the watris.
Und das Wasser stieg und wuchs gewaltig an auf Erden, und die Arche fuhr auf dem Wasser.
19 And the watris hadden maistrie greetli on erthe, and alle hiye hillis vndur alle heuene weren hilid;
Das Wasser stieg nun in gewaltiger Höhe über die Erde, und alle hohen Berge irgendwo unter dem Himmel wurden bedeckt.
20 the watyr was hiyere bi fiftene cubitis ouer the hilis whiche it hilide.
Fünfzehn Ellen darüber hinaus war das Wasser gestiegen; so wurden die Berge bedeckt.
21 And ech fleisch was wastid that was moued on erthe, of briddis, of lyuynge beestis, of vnresonable beestis, and of alle `reptilis that crepen on erthe.
Da starb ein jeglich Fleisch, das sich auf Erden regte, an Vögeln, Vieh und Getier und an allem Gewürm, das auf Erden kroch, sowie alle Menschen.
22 Alle men, and alle thingis in whiche the brething of lijf was in erthe, weren deed.
Alles, was des Lebensgeistes Odem in seiner Nase hatte, soweit es sich auf dem Trockenen befand, war tot.
23 And God dide awei al substaunce that was on erthe, fro man til to beeste, as wel a crepynge beeste as the briddis of heuene; and tho weren doon awei fro erthe. Forsothe Noe dwellide aloone, and thei that weren with hym in the schip.
So vertilgte er alle Wesen auf dem Erdboden, vom Menschen bis zum Vieh und Gewürm und bis zu des Himmels Vögeln. Sie wurden von der Erde vertilgt; nur Noe und was bei ihm in der Arche war, blieb übrig.
24 And the watris of the greet flood ouereyeden the erthe an hundrid and fifti daies.
Und das Wasser wuchs auf Erden 150 Tage lang.
