1 Which thing Joseph seiy, and felde on `the face of the fader, and wepte, and kiste hym;
Nake Jusufu agĩkĩĩgũithia thĩ mbere ya ithe, akĩmũrĩrĩra na akĩmũmumunya.
2 and he comaundide hise seruauntis, lechis, that thei schulden anoynte the fadir with swete smellynge spiceries.
Ningĩ agĩcooka agĩatha athondekani arĩa maarĩ ndungata ciake mathondeke mwĩrĩ wa ithe Isiraeli nĩguo ndũkabuthe. Nĩ ũndũ ũcio athondekani makĩmũthondeka,
3 While thei `filliden the comaundementis, fourti daies passiden, for this was the custom of deed bodies anoyntid; and Egipt biwepte hym seuenti daies.
handũ ha ihinda rĩa thikũ mĩrongo ĩna, tondũ rĩu nĩrĩo ihinda rĩrĩa rĩabatarainie rĩa kũũthondeka. Nao andũ a Misiri makĩmũcakaĩra matukũ mĩrongo mũgwanja.
4 And whanne the tyme of weiling was fillid, Joseph spak to the meyne of Farao, If Y haue founde grace in youre siyt, speke ye in the eeris of Farao; for my fadir chargide me,
Namo matukũ ma kũmũcakaĩra maathira-rĩ, Jusufu akĩĩra kĩama kĩa Firaũni atĩrĩ, “Angĩkorwo nĩnjĩtĩkĩrĩkĩte maitho-inĩ manyu-rĩ, njarĩrĩriai kũrĩ Firaũni. Mwĩrei atĩrĩ,
5 and seide, Lo! Y die, thou schalt birie me in my sepulcre which Y diggide to me in the lond of Canaan; therfor Y schal stie that Y birie my fadir, and Y schal turne ayen.
‘Baba nĩatũmire ndĩĩhĩte na mwĩhĩtwa, akiuga atĩrĩ, “Ndĩ hakuhĩ gũkua; na ndakua ũgaathika mbĩrĩra-inĩ ĩrĩa niĩ mwene ndeyenjeire bũrũri-inĩ wa Kaanani.” Rĩu rekei nyambate thiĩ ngathike baba; na nĩngũcooka hũndũke.’”
6 And Farao seide to hym, Stie, and birie thi fader, as thou art chargid.
Nake Firaũni akĩmũtũmanĩra, akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Ambata, ũthiĩ ũgathike thoguo, o ta ũrĩa aatũmire wĩhĩte.”
7 And whanne `he stiede, alle the elde men of `the hous of Farao yeden with him, and alle the grettere men in birthe of the lond of Egipt; the hous of Joseph with her britheren,
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Jusufu akĩambata agĩthiĩ gũthika ithe. Nao anene othe a Firaũni magĩthiĩ nake, andũ a gĩtĩĩo othe a kĩama kĩa Firaũni o na andũ arĩa atĩĩku a Misiri othe,
8 without litle children, and flockis, and grete beestis, whiche thei leften in the lond of Gessen, yeden with him.
o hamwe na andũ othe a nyũmba ya Jusufu, na ariũ a ithe, na arĩa othe maarĩ a nyũmba ya ithe. No ciana ciki na ndũũru ciao cia mbũri na cia ngʼombe ciatigĩtwo Gosheni.
9 And he hadde charis, and horsmen, and felouschip, and cumpany was maad not litil.
Thigari cia ngaari cia ita na cia mbarathi o na cio igĩthiĩ nake. Kĩarĩ gĩkundi kĩnene mũno kĩa andũ.
10 And thei camen to the cornfloor of Adad, which is set ouer Jordan, where thei maden the seruice of the deed bodi, with greet weilyng and strong, and fillide seuen daies.
Nao maakinya ihuhĩro-inĩ rĩa ngano rĩa Atadi, hakuhĩ na Jorodani, makĩrĩra manĩrĩire marĩ na ruo; na hau Jusufu agĩcakaĩra ithe matukũ mũgwanja.
11 And whanne the dwellers of the lond of Canaan hadden seyn this, thei seiden, This is a greet weiling to Egipcians; and therfor thei clepiden the name of that place the weilyng of Egipt.
Na rĩrĩa Akaanani arĩa maatũũraga kũu moonire macakaya macio hau ihuhĩro-inĩ rĩa ngano rĩa Atadi, makĩĩrana atĩrĩ, “Andũ a Misiri marĩ na igongona rĩa macakaya ma kĩeha.” Na nĩkĩo handũ hau hakuhĩ na Jorodani heetagwo Abeli-Miziraimu.
12 Therfor the sones of Jacob diden, as he hadde comaundid to hem;
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio ariũ a Jakubu magĩĩka o ũrĩa aamaathĩte:
13 and thei baren hym in to the lond of Canaan, and thei birieden hym in the double denne, which denne with the feeld Abraham hadde bouyt of Effron Ethei, ayens the face of Mambre, into possessioun of sepulcre.
Makĩmũkuua makĩmũtwara bũrũri wa Kaanani, na makĩmũthika ngurunga-inĩ ĩrĩa yarĩ gĩthaka-inĩ kĩa Makipela, hakuhĩ na Mamure, ĩrĩa Iburahĩmu aagũranĩirie na gĩthaka kĩu kĩrĩ handũ ha gũthikanwo kuuma kũrĩ Efironi ũrĩa Mũhiti.
14 And Joseph turnede ayen in to Egipt with hise britheren and al the felouschipe, whanne the fadir was biried.
Thuutha wa gũthika ithe-rĩ, Jusufu agĩcooka Misiri hamwe na ariũ a ithe na arĩa othe maathiĩte nake gũthika ithe.
15 And whanne the fadir was deed, the britheren of Joseph dredden, and spaken togidere, lest perauenture he be myndeful of the wrong which he suffride, and yelde to vs al the yuel, that we diden.
Na rĩrĩa ariũ a ithe moonire atĩ ithe wao nĩakua, makiuga atĩrĩ, “Ĩ angĩkorwo Jusufu nĩatũũire atũiguagĩra ũũru, na atũrĩhie maũru marĩa mothe twamwĩkire?”
16 And thei senten to hym, and seiden, Thi fadir comaundide to vs,
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio magĩtũmana kũrĩ Jusufu makiuga atĩrĩ, “Thoguo atanakua nĩatigire oiga atĩrĩ:
17 bifore that he diede, that we schulden seie to thee these thingis bi hise wordis; Y beseche, that thou foryete the wickidnesse of thi britheren, and the synne, and malice which thei hauntiden ayens thee; also we preien, that thou foryyue this wickidnesse to thi fadir, the seruaunt of God. Whanne these thingis weren herd, Joseph wepte.
‘Ũũ nĩguo mũkeera Jusufu: ndagũthaitha ũrekere ariũ a thoguo mehia na mahĩtia marĩa meekire nĩ ũndũ nĩmagwĩkire ũũru mũno.’ Na rĩu twagũthaitha wohere ndungata cia Ngai wa thoguo mehia macio.” Na rĩrĩa ndũmĩrĩri yao yamũkinyĩire, Jusufu akĩrĩra.
18 And hise britheren camen to hym, and worschipiden lowe to erthe, and seiden, We ben thi seruauntis.
Ariũ a ithe magĩcooka magĩthiĩ kũrĩ we, makĩĩgũithia thĩ mbere yake, makiuga atĩrĩ, “Tũrĩ ngombo ciaku.”
19 To whiche he answeride, Nyle ye drede; whether we moun ayenstonde Goddis wille?
No Jusufu akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Tigai gwĩtigĩra. Kaĩ niĩ akĩrĩ niĩ Ngai?
20 Ye thouyten yuel of me, and God turnede it in to good, that he schulde enhaunse me, as ye seen in present tyme, and that he schulde make saaf many puplis;
Inyuĩ mwaciirĩte kũnjĩka ũũru, no Ngai aanjiirĩire ũndũ mwega nĩguo akinyanĩrie ũrĩa kũrekĩka rĩu, ũhoro wa kũhonokia mĩoyo ya andũ aingĩ.
21 nyle ye drede, Y schal fede you and youre litle children. And he coumfortide hem, and spak swetli, and liytly;
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio-rĩ, mũtigetigĩre. Nĩndĩĩmũheaga irio cianyu na cia ciana cianyu.” Nake akĩmomĩrĩria na akĩmarĩria wega.
22 and he dwellide in Egipt, with al the hows of his fadir. And he lyuyde an hundrid yeer,
Jusufu agĩikara Misiri, hamwe na andũ othe a nyũmba ya ithe. Aatũũrire muoyo mĩaka igana rĩmwe na ikũmi,
23 and he seiy the sones of Effraym til to the thridde generacioun; also the sones of Machir, son of Manasses, weren borun in the knees of Joseph.
na akĩona rũciaro rwa gatatũ rwa ciana cia Efiraimu. O na ciana cia Makiru mũrũ wa Manase ciaciarwo nĩciaigĩrĩirwo maru-inĩ ma Jusufu.
24 Whanne these thingis weren don, Joseph spak to hise brithren, Aftir my deeth God schal visite you, and he schal make to stie fro this lond to the loond which he swoor to Abraham, Ysaac, and Jacob.
Ningĩ Jusufu akĩĩra ariũ a ithe atĩrĩ, “Ndĩ hakuhĩ gũkua. No rĩrĩ, ti-itherũ Ngai nĩagooka kũmũrora amũteithie na amũrute kuuma bũrũri ũyũ, amũtware bũrũri ũrĩa erĩire Iburahĩmu, na Isaaka na Jakubu na mwĩhĩtwa.”
25 And whanne he hadde chargid hem, and hadde seid, God schal visite you, bere ye out with you my boonus fro this place,
Nake Jusufu agĩtũma ariũ a Isiraeli mehĩte na mwĩhĩtwa, akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Ti-itherũ Ngai nĩagooka kũmũteithia, na hĩndĩ ĩyo yakinya no nginya mũgaakuua mahĩndĩ makwa kuuma kũndũ gũkũ.”
26 he diede, whanne an hundrid and ten yeeris of his lijf weren fillid; and he was anoyntid with swete smellynge spiceries, and was kept in a beere in Egipt.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Jusufu agĩkua, arĩ na ũkũrũ wa mĩaka igana rĩmwe na ikũmi. Thuutha wa kũmũthondeka ndakabuthe, makĩmũiga ithandũkũ-inĩ rĩa gũthikwo narĩo o kũu Misiri.
