Genesis 49
1 Forsothe Jacob clepide hise sones, and seide to hem, Be ye gaderid that Y telle what thingis schulen come to you in the laste daies;
Och Jacob kallade sina söner, och sade: Församler eder, att jag må förkunna eder, hvad eder skall hända i den yttersta tiden.
2 be ye gaderid, `and here, ye sones of Jacob, here ye Israel youre fadir.
Kommer tillhopa, och hörer till, I Jacobs barn; hörer edar fader Israel.
3 Ruben, my firste gendrid sone, thou art my strengthe and the bigynnyng of my sorewe; thou ouytist to be the former in yiftis, the more in lordschip;
Ruben min förste son, du äst min kraft, och min första magt, den öfverste i offret, och den öfverste i riket.
4 thou art sched out as watir; wexe thou not, for thou stiedist on the bed of thi fader, and defoulidist his bed.
Han utlöper med hast som vatten: Du skall icke vara den öfverste; ty du hafver uppstigit i dins faders lägre, och der hafver du med det uppstigandet besmittat mina säng.
5 Symeon and Leuy, britheren, fiytynge vessils of wickidnesse;
De bröder Simeon och Levi, de hafva handlat orättfärdiga med deras mordvapen.
6 my soule come not in to the councel of hem, and my glorie be not in the congregacioun of hem; for in her woodnesse thei killiden a man, and in her wille thei myneden the wal;
Min själ komme icke i deras råd, och min härlighet vare icke i deras förbund; förty uti deras vrede hafva de dödat mannen, och uti deras öfverdådighet hafva de förderfvat oxan.
7 curside be the woodnesse of hem, for it is obstynat, and the indignacioun of hem for it is hard; Y schal departe hem in Jacob, and I schal scatere hem in Israel.
Förbannad vare deras vrede, att hon så styf är, och deras grymhet, att hon så hård är: Jag skall skingra dem i Jacob, och förströ dem i Israel.
8 Judas, thi britheren schulen preise thee, thin hondis schulen be in the nollis of thin enemyes; the sones of thi fadir schulen worschipe thee.
Juda, du äret, dig skola dine bröder lofva, din hand skall vara dina fiender på halsen; för dig skola dins faders barn buga sig.
9 `A whelp of lioun `is Judas; my sone thou stiedist to prey; thou restidist, and hast leyn as a lioun, and as a lionesse who schal reise hym?
Juda är ett ungt lejon, du äst högt kommen, min son, genom stor seger: Han hafver nederböjt sig, och lägrat sig som ett lejon, och som en lejinna. Ho törs sätta sig upp emot honom?
10 The septre schal not be takun awey fro Juda, and a duyk of his hipe, til he come that schal be sent, and he schal be abiding of hethene men;
Spiran skall icke varda tagen ifrån Juda, ej heller en mästare ifrå hans fötter, tilldess Hjelten kommer; och honom skola folken tillfalla.
11 and he schal tye his colt at the vyner, and his femal asse at the vyne; A! my sone, he schal waische his stoole in wyn, and his mentil in the blood of grape;
Han varder bindandes sin fåla vid vinträt, och sine åsninnos son vid den ädla vinqvisten. Han skall två sin kläder i vin, och sin mantel i vinbärs blod.
12 hise iyen ben fairere than wyn, and hise teeth ben whittere than mylk.
Hans ögon äro rödaktigare än vin, och hans tänder äro hvitare än mjölk.
13 Zabulon schal dwelle in the brenk of the see, and in the stondyng of schipis; and schal stretche til to Sydon.
Sebulon skall bo vid hafshamnena, och vid skepphamnena, och sträcka sig intill Sidon.
14 Isachar, a strong asse,
Isaschar skall vara en benåsne, och lägra sig emellan gränsorna.
15 liggynge bitwixe termes, seiy reste, that it was good and seiy the lond that it was best, and he vndirsettide his schuldre to bere, and he was maad seruynge to tributis.
Och han såg rolighetena, att hon är god, och landet, att det är lustigt, och böjde sina härdar till att bära, och är vorden en skattskyldig tjenare.
16 Dan schal deme his puple, as also another lynage in Israel.
Dan skall varda en domare ibland sitt folk, såsom ett annat slägte i Israel.
17 Dan be maad a serpent in the weie, and cerastes in the path, and bite the feet of an hors, that the `stiere therof falle bacward; Lord,
Dan skall varda en orm på vägenom, och en huggorm på stigenom, och bita hästen i foten, att den derpå rider, skall till rygga falla.
18 Y schal abide thin helthe.
Herre, jag väntar efter dina helso.
19 Gad schal be gird, and schal fiyte bifor hym, and he schal be gird bihynde.
Gud, väpnad, skall föra hären, och åter igen föran.
20 Aser his breed schal be plenteuouse, and he schal yyue delicis to kyngis.
Af Asser kommer hans feta bröd, och han skall gifva Konungenom kräselig mat.
21 Neptalym schal be an hert sent out, and yyuynge spechis of fairenesse.
Naphthali är en snar hjort, och gifver kosteligit tal.
22 Joseph, a sone encreessynge, `a sone encresinge, and fair in biholdyng; douytris runnen aboute on the wal,
Joseph skall tillväxa; han skall tillväxa likavisst som vid en källo: Döttrarna träda fram uti regementet.
23 but hise brithren wraththeden hym, and chidden, and thei hadden dartis, and hadden enuye to hym.
Och ändock skyttarne voro honom förbittrade, trätte med honom, och hatade honom:
24 His bowe sat in the stronge, and the boondis of his armes, and hondis weren vnboundun bi the hond of the myyti of Jacob; of hym a scheepherd yede out, the stoon of Israel.
Så är dock hans båge blifven fast, och hans händers armar äro förmannade, genom dess mägtiges händer i Jacob: Af honom äro komne herdar, stenar i Israel.
25 God of thi fadir schal be thin helpere, and Almyyti God schal blesse thee with blessyngis of heuene fro aboue, and with blessyngis of the see liggynge binethe, with blessyngis of tetis, and of wombe;
Ifrå dins faders Gud är dig kommen hjelp, och af den Allsmägtiga äst du välsignad med välsignelse ofvan efter af himlenom; med välsignelse af djupet, som under ligger; med välsignelse på bröst och qved.
26 the blessyngis of thi fadir ben coumfortid, the blessyngis of his fadris, til the desire of euerlastynge hillis cam; blessyngis ben maad in the heed of Joseph, and in the nol of Nazarei among his britheren.
Den välsignelse, som dinom fader och minom föräldrom lofvad är, går mägteliga efter deras önskan, som höge äro i verldene. Utaf Joseph skola hufvuden varda, och de öfverste Nazareer ibland sina bröder.
27 Beniamyn, a rauyschynge wolf, schal ete prey eerly, and in the euentid he schal departe spuylis.
BenJamin är en glupande ulf. Om morgonen skall han äta rof, men om aftonen skall han utskifta rofvet.
28 Alle these weren in twelue kynredis of Israel; her fadir spak these thingys to hem, and blesside hem alle by propre blessyngis,
Desse alle äro de tolf Israels slägter, och det är det, som deras fader hafver talat med dem, då han välsignade dem, hvar med sin besynnerliga välsignelse.
29 and comaundide hem, and seide, Y am gaderid to my puple, birie ye me with my fadris in the double denne, which is in the lond of Efron Ethei, ayens Manbre,
Och han böd dem, och sade till dem: Jag skall samkas till mitt folk; begrafver mig när mina fäder, i den kulone på Ephrons Hetheens åker.
30 in the lond of Canaan, which denne Abraham bouyte with the feeld of Efron Ethei, in to possessioun of sepulcre.
I den dubbelkulone, som ligger emot Mamre i Canaans lande, hvilka Abraham köpte till en arfgrift med åkrenom af Ephron den Hetheen.
31 There thei birieden hym, and Sare his wijf, also Ysaac was biried there with Rebecca his wijf; there also Lia liggith biried.
Der hafva de begrafvit Abraham och Sara hans hustru: Der hafva de ock begrafvit Isaac och Rebecka hans hustru: Der hafver jag ock begrafvit Lea;
I den åkrenom och de kulone, som af Heths barnom köpt är.
33 And whanne the comaundementis weren endid, bi whiche he tauyte the sones, he gaderide hise feet on the bed, and diede, and he was put to his puple.
Och när Jacob hade lyktat buden till sin barn, lade han sina fötter samman på sängene, led af, och vardt samkad till sitt folk.
