Genesis 49
1 Forsothe Jacob clepide hise sones, and seide to hem, Be ye gaderid that Y telle what thingis schulen come to you in the laste daies;
೧ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡಿ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ. ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
2 be ye gaderid, `and here, ye sones of Jacob, here ye Israel youre fadir.
೨ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡಿ ಬಂದು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸಿರಿ.
3 Ruben, my firste gendrid sone, thou art my strengthe and the bigynnyng of my sorewe; thou ouytist to be the former in yiftis, the more in lordschip;
೩ರೂಬೇನನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಮಗನೂ, ನನ್ನ ಚೈತನ್ಯಸ್ವರೂಪನೂ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಥಮಫಲವೂ, ಗೌರವದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಮುಖನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀ.
4 thou art sched out as watir; wexe thou not, for thou stiedist on the bed of thi fader, and defoulidist his bed.
೪ಆದರೆ ದಡಮೀರಿದ ಪ್ರವಾಹದಂತಿರುವ ನೀನು ಇನ್ನು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದಿಯಲ್ಲಾ. ಇವನು ನನ್ನ ಮಂಚವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದನು!
5 Symeon and Leuy, britheren, fiytynge vessils of wickidnesse;
೫ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನು ಲೇವಿಯೂ ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರು. ಇವರ ಕತ್ತಿಗಳು ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರದ ಆಯುಧಗಳು.
6 my soule come not in to the councel of hem, and my glorie be not in the congregacioun of hem; for in her woodnesse thei killiden a man, and in her wille thei myneden the wal;
೬ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವೇ ಅವರ ಗುಪ್ತವಾದ ದುರಾಲೋಚನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಒಳಪಡಬಾರದು. ನನ್ನ ಮನವೇ ಅವರ ಗುಂಪಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಸೇರಬೇಡ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಅವರು ಕೋಪೋದ್ರೆಕದಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದರು. ಮದದಿಂದ ಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ದುರ್ಬಲಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.
7 curside be the woodnesse of hem, for it is obstynat, and the indignacioun of hem for it is hard; Y schal departe hem in Jacob, and I schal scatere hem in Israel.
೭ಅವರ ಕೋಪವು ಭಯಂಕರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅವರ ರೌದ್ರವು ಕ್ರೂರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದು ಅದು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ಥವಾದುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಕುಲದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸುವೆನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಚದುರಿಸುವೆನು.
8 Judas, thi britheren schulen preise thee, thin hondis schulen be in the nollis of thin enemyes; the sones of thi fadir schulen worschipe thee.
೮ಯೆಹೂದನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವರು. ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈ ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವುದು. ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಡ್ಡ ಬೀಳುವರು.
9 `A whelp of lioun `is Judas; my sone thou stiedist to prey; thou restidist, and hast leyn as a lioun, and as a lionesse who schal reise hym?
೯ಯೆಹೂದನು ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹದಂತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ಮೃಗವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕೊಂದು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿದ ಸಿಂಹದೋಪಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೀ. ಅವನು ಸಿಂಹದಂತೆ ಕಾಲು ಮುದುರಿ ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಮೃಗ ರಾಜನಿಗೆ ಸಮನಾದ ಇವನನ್ನು ಕೆಣಕುವುದು ಯಾರಿಂದಾದೀತು?
10 The septre schal not be takun awey fro Juda, and a duyk of his hipe, til he come that schal be sent, and he schal be abiding of hethene men;
೧೦ರಾಜದಂಡವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯತಕ್ಕವನು ಶಿಲೋವಿನಿಂದ ಬರುವ ತನಕ ಆ ದಂಡವು ಯೆಹೂದನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಮುದ್ರೆ ಕೋಲು ಅವನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಕದಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿರುವರು.
11 and he schal tye his colt at the vyner, and his femal asse at the vyne; A! my sone, he schal waische his stoole in wyn, and his mentil in the blood of grape;
೧೧ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ವಾಹನ ಮೃಗವನ್ನು ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟವಾದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವನು. ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಬಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕತ್ತೆಮರಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಗಿಯುವನು; ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಅಂಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆಯುವನು; ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಅದ್ದಿ ತೊಳೆಯುವನು.
12 hise iyen ben fairere than wyn, and hise teeth ben whittere than mylk.
೧೨ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಕೆಂಪಾಗಿ ಇರುವವು. ಹಾಲಿನ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ಅವನ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಬೆಳ್ಳಗಾಗಿ ಇರುವವು.
13 Zabulon schal dwelle in the brenk of the see, and in the stondyng of schipis; and schal stretche til to Sydon.
೧೩ಜೆಬುಲೂನನು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕರಾವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹಡಗುಗಳು ಸೇರುವ ಬಂದರು ಇರುವುದು. ಅವನ ಸೀಮೆಯ ಒಂದು ಮೇರೆ ಚೀದೋನಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟುವುದು.
14 Isachar, a strong asse,
೧೪ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರನು ಕುರಿಯ ಹಟ್ಟಿಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಮಲಗಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ಕತ್ತೆಯಂತಿರುವನು.
15 liggynge bitwixe termes, seiy reste, that it was good and seiy the lond that it was best, and he vndirsettide his schuldre to bere, and he was maad seruynge to tributis.
೧೫ತಾನು ಸೇರಿದ ಪ್ರದೇಶವು ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವೂ ಸುಖಾಸ್ಪದವೂ ಆಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು. ಅವನು ಹೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆನ್ನು ಬಗ್ಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಿಟ್ಟೀ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವನು.
16 Dan schal deme his puple, as also another lynage in Israel.
೧೬ದಾನನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಕುಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದರಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವನು.
17 Dan be maad a serpent in the weie, and cerastes in the path, and bite the feet of an hors, that the `stiere therof falle bacward; Lord,
೧೭ದಾನನು ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವಿಷಸರ್ಪದಂತೆ ಇರುವನು ಅದು ಕುದುರೆಯ ಹಿಮ್ಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ಕಚ್ಚುವುದು. ಸವಾರನು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಅಂಗಾತವಾಗಿ ಬೀಳುವನು.
18 Y schal abide thin helthe.
೧೮ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
19 Gad schal be gird, and schal fiyte bifor hym, and he schal be gird bihynde.
೧೯ಗಾದನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಲಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವವರು ಬೀಳಲು, ಇವನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಮ್ಮಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವನು.
20 Aser his breed schal be plenteuouse, and he schal yyue delicis to kyngis.
೨೦ಆಶೇರನಿಗೆ ಧಾನ್ಯ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುವುದು. ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಭೋಗ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳು ದೊರಕುವವು.
21 Neptalym schal be an hert sent out, and yyuynge spechis of fairenesse.
೨೧ನಫ್ತಾಲಿಯು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಜಿಂಕೆಯಂತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವನಿಂದ ಇಂಪಾದ ಮಾತುಗಳುಂಟಾಗುವವು.
22 Joseph, a sone encreessynge, `a sone encresinge, and fair in biholdyng; douytris runnen aboute on the wal,
೨೨ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಫಲಭರಿತವಾದ ವೃಕ್ಷವು, ಒರತೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಫಲವತ್ತಾದ ವೃಕ್ಷವೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಗೋಡೆಯ ಆಚೆಗೆ ಅದರ ರೆಂಬೆಗಳು ಹರಡಿವೆ.
23 but hise brithren wraththeden hym, and chidden, and thei hadden dartis, and hadden enuye to hym.
೨೩ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಾರರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಆಕ್ರಮಿಸುವರು, ಹಗೆತನದಿಂದ ಬಾಣವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸುವರು.
24 His bowe sat in the stronge, and the boondis of his armes, and hondis weren vnboundun bi the hond of the myyti of Jacob; of hym a scheepherd yede out, the stoon of Israel.
೨೪ಆದರೂ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ವಂಶಸ್ಥರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಯ ಭುಜಬಲದಿಂದಲೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ಪಾಲಕನೂ ಬಂಡೆಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವಾತನಿಂದಲೂ ಅವನ ಕೈಗಳ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವುದು. ಅವನ ಕೈಗಳು ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಒಡೆಯನಿಂದ ಬಲಗೊಂಡಿವೆ.
25 God of thi fadir schal be thin helpere, and Almyyti God schal blesse thee with blessyngis of heuene fro aboue, and with blessyngis of the see liggynge binethe, with blessyngis of tetis, and of wombe;
೨೫ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಹಸ್ತವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವನು. ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು, ಆತನು ಮೇಲಣ ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದಲೂ, ಕೆಳಗಣ ಸಾಗರದ ಸೆಲೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ಸ್ತನದಿಂದಲೂ, ಗರ್ಭಫಲದಿಂದಲೂ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲಿ.
26 the blessyngis of thi fadir ben coumfortid, the blessyngis of his fadris, til the desire of euerlastynge hillis cam; blessyngis ben maad in the heed of Joseph, and in the nol of Nazarei among his britheren.
೨೬ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಮೀಗಿಲಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಪರ್ವತಗಳಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೇಲುಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ, ಸದಾಕಾಲ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಫಲಗಳು ಕೊನೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರಿಗೂ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ದೊರೆಯುವುದು.
27 Beniamyn, a rauyschynge wolf, schal ete prey eerly, and in the euentid he schal departe spuylis.
೨೭“ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನನು ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ತೋಳದಂತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ರಾತ್ರಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡದ್ದನ್ನು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಂಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು” ಎಂದನು.
28 Alle these weren in twelue kynredis of Israel; her fadir spak these thingys to hem, and blesside hem alle by propre blessyngis,
೨೮ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನಿಂದುಂಟಾದ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕುಲಗಳು. ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ನುಡಿಗಳು ಇವುಗಳೇ. ಅವನು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೂ ಅವನವನಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆಶೀರ್ವಚನಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿದನು.
29 and comaundide hem, and seide, Y am gaderid to my puple, birie ye me with my fadris in the double denne, which is in the lond of Efron Ethei, ayens Manbre,
೨೯ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ತನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, “ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಬೇಕಾದ ಕಾಲವು ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿತು. ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಎಫ್ರೋನನ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗವಿಯೊಳಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
30 in the lond of Canaan, which denne Abraham bouyte with the feeld of Efron Ethei, in to possessioun of sepulcre.
೩೦ಆ ಗವಿಯು ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದ ಮಮ್ರೆಗೆದುರಾಗಿರುವ ಮಕ್ಪೇಲ ಎಂಬ ಬಯಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಭೂಮಿ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಎಫ್ರೋನನಿಂದ ಸ್ವಂತ ಸ್ಮಶಾನ ಭೂಮಿಗಾಗಿ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡನು.
31 There thei birieden hym, and Sare his wijf, also Ysaac was biried there with Rebecca his wijf; there also Lia liggith biried.
೩೧ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಪತ್ನಿಯಾದ ಸಾರಳಿಗೂ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಲೇಯಳನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
೩೨ಹೊಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರಿಂದ ಕ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಆ ಗುಹೆಯೊಳಗೆ ನನಗೂ ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಬೇಕು” ಎಂದನು.
33 And whanne the comaundementis weren endid, bi whiche he tauyte the sones, he gaderide hise feet on the bed, and diede, and he was put to his puple.
೩೩ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡುವುದನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಡಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಾಣಬಿಟ್ಟು ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದನು.
