< Genesis 48 >

1 And so whanne these thingis weren don, it was teld to Joseph, that his fadir was sijk. And he took hise twei sones, Manasses and Effraym, and he disposide to go.
Thuutha-inĩ ũcio Jusufu akĩĩrwo atĩrĩ, “Thoguo nĩ mũrũaru.” Nĩ ũndũ ũcio akĩoya ariũ ake eerĩ, Manase na Efiraimu, agĩthiĩ kũmũrora.
2 And it was seid to the elde man, Lo! thi sone Joseph cometh to thee; which was coumfortid, and sat in the bed.
Na rĩrĩa Jakubu eerirwo atĩrĩ, “Mũrũguo Jusufu nĩoka gũkuona,” Isiraeli akĩĩyũmĩrĩria, agĩikara thĩ ũrĩrĩ-inĩ.
3 And whanne Joseph entride to hym, he seide, Almyyti God apperide to me in Luza, which is in the lond of Canaan, and blesside me,
Jakubu akĩĩra Jusufu atĩrĩ, “Ngai Mwene-Hinya-Wothe nĩanyumĩrĩire ndĩ Luzu bũrũri-inĩ wa Kaanani, na akĩndathima,
4 and seide, Y schal encreesse and multiplie thee, and Y schal make thee in to cumpanyes of puplis, and Y schal yyue to thee this lond, and to thi seed aftir thee, in to euerlastinge possessioun.
akĩnjĩĩra atĩrĩ, ‘Nĩngatũma ũciarane na ũingĩhe. Nĩngagũtua kĩrĩndĩ kĩa andũ, na nĩngaheana bũrũri ũyũ kũrĩ njiaro ciaku iria igooka thuutha waku ũtuĩke wacio tene na tene.’
5 Therfor thi twei sones, that ben borun to thee in the lond of Egipt bifore that Y cam hidir to thee, schulen be myne, Effraym and Manasses as Ruben and Symeon schulen be arettid to me;
“Rĩu-rĩ, ariũ aku eerĩ arĩa maaciarĩirwo gũkũ Misiri itanooka kũrĩ we-rĩ, megũtuuo ta marĩ akwa; Efiraimu na Manase meegũtuĩka akwa, o ta ũrĩa Rubeni na Simeoni marĩ akwa.
6 forsothe the othere whiche thou schalt gendre aftir hem schulen be thine; and thei schulen be clepid bi the name of her britheren in her possessiouns.
Ciana iria ingĩ ũngĩciarĩrwo thuutha wao nĩ ciaku; kũrĩa makagaya mageetanagio na marĩĩtwa ma ariũ a ithe wao.
7 Forsothe whanne Y cam fro Mesopotamye, Rachel was deed to me in the lond of Canaan, in thilke weie; and it was the bigynnyng of somer; and Y entride in to Effrata, and beriede hir bisidis the weie of Effrata, which bi anothir name is clepid Bethleem.
Na rĩrĩa ndacookaga kuuma Padani, ngĩnyiitwo nĩ kĩeha gĩa gũkuĩrwo nĩ Rakeli kũu bũrũri-inĩ wa Kaanani tũrĩ o rũgendo-inĩ, hakuhĩ na Efiratha. Nĩ ũndũ ũcio ngĩmũthika hau mũkĩra-inĩ wa njĩra ya gũthiĩ Efiratha” (na nokuo Bethilehemu).
8 Forsothe Jacob seiy the sones of Joseph, and seide to him, Who ben these?
Na rĩrĩa Isiraeli onire ariũ a Jusufu, akĩũria atĩrĩ, “Aya nĩ a?”
9 He answeride, Thei ben my sones, whiche God yaf to me in this place. Jacob seide, Brynge hem to me that Y blesse hem.
Jusufu akĩĩra ithe atĩrĩ, “Nĩ ariũ akwa arĩa Ngai aaheete ndĩ gũkũ”. Nake Isiraeli akiuga atĩrĩ, “Mareharehe harĩ niĩ ndĩmarathime.”
10 For `the iyen of Israel, dasewiden for greet eelde, and he myyte not se clereli; and he kisside and collide tho children ioyned to hym, and seide to his sone,
Na rĩrĩ, maitho ma Isiraeli nĩmoorĩte nĩ gũkũra, na ndoonaga wega. Jusufu agĩkĩrehe ariũ ake hakuhĩ na Isiraeli, nake Jakubu akĩmamumunya na akĩmahĩmbĩria.
11 Y am not defraudid of thi siyt; ferthermore God schewide to me thi seed.
Isiraeli akĩĩra Jusufu atĩrĩ, “Ndieciragia nĩngona ũthiũ waku rĩngĩ, na rĩu Ngai nĩanjĩtĩkĩrĩtie nyone o na ciana ciaku.”
12 And whanne Joseph hadde take hem fro `the fadris lappe, he worschipide lowe to erthe.
Nake Jusufu akĩmaruta maru-inĩ ma Isiraeli, akĩinamĩrĩria ũthiũ akĩũturumithia thĩ.
13 And he sette Effraym on his riyt side, that is, on the lift side of Israel; forsothe he settide Manasses in his lift side, that is, on the riyt side of the fadir; and he ioynede bothe to hym.
Jusufu akĩoya ariũ ake eerĩ, Efiraimu arĩ mwena wake wa ũrĩo aamwerekeirie guoko-inĩ kwa ũmotho gwa Isiraeli, na Manase arĩ mwena wake wa ũmotho aamwerekeirie guoko-inĩ kwa ũrĩo gwa Isiraeli, akĩmarehe hakuhĩ nake.
14 Which helde forth the riyt hond, and settide on `the heed of Effraym, the lesse brothir; sotheli he settide the left hond on `the heed of Manasses, that was the more thury birthe. Jacob chaungide `the hondes,
No Isiraeli agĩtambũrũkia guoko gwake kwa ũrĩo agĩkũigĩrĩra mũtwe wa Efiraimu, o na gũtuĩka nĩwe warĩ mũnini, na akĩhĩtũkania moko make, akĩigĩrĩra guoko gwake kwa ũmotho mũtwe-inĩ wa Manase, o na gũtuĩka Manase nĩwe warĩ irigithathi.
15 and blesside his sone Joseph, and seide, God, in whos siyt my fadris Abraham and Isaac yeden; God, that fedith me fro my yong wexynge age til in to present day;
Ningĩ akĩrathima Jusufu, akiuga atĩrĩ, “Ngai ũrĩa maithe makwa Iburahĩmu na Isaaka maatungatagĩra, Ngai ũrĩa ũkoretwo arĩ mũrĩithi wakwa mũtũũrĩre-inĩ wakwa wothe nginya ũmũthĩ,
16 the aungel that delyuerede me fro alle yuelis, blesse thes children, and my name be clepid on hem, and the names of my fadris Abraham and Ysaac; and wexe thei in multitude on erthe.
na Mũraika ũrĩa ũũhonoketie kuuma mĩtino-inĩ yothe, arorathima imwana ici. Iroetanagio na rĩĩtwa rĩakwa, na ciĩtanagio na marĩĩtwa ma maithe makwa, Iburahĩmu na Isaaka, na maroingĩha mũno gũkũ thĩ.”
17 Forsothe Joseph seiy that his fadir hadde set the riyt hond on the heed of Effraym, and took heuyli, and he enforside to reise the fadris hond takun fro the heed of Effraym, and to bere `ouer on `the heed of Manasses.
Na rĩrĩa Jusufu onire atĩ ithe aigĩrĩire guoko gwake kwa ũrĩo mũtwe-inĩ wa Efiraimu-rĩ, ndaakenire; akĩnyiita guoko gwa ithe akweherie kuuma mũtwe-inĩ wa Efiraimu, akũigĩrĩre mũtwe-inĩ wa Manase.
18 And he seide to the fadir, Fadir, it acordith not so; for this is the firste gendrid; sette thi riyt hond on the heed `of hym.
Jusufu akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Aca, baba ũyũ nĩwe irigithathi; mũigĩrĩre guoko gwaku kwa ũrĩo mũtwe.”
19 Which forsook and seide, Y woot, my sone, Y woot; and sotheli this child schal be in to puplis, and he schal be multiplied; but his yonger brother schal be more than he, and `his seed schal encreesse in to folkis.
No ithe akĩrega, akiuga atĩrĩ, “Nĩnjũũĩ ũguo mũrũ wakwa, nĩnjũũĩ. O nake nĩagatuĩka rũrĩrĩ, na nĩakaneneha. No rĩrĩ, mũrũ wa nyina ũrĩa mũnini nĩakaneneha kũmũkĩra, nacio njiaro ciake ituĩke gĩkundi kĩa ndũrĩrĩ.”
20 And he blesside hem in that tyme, and seide, Israel schal be blessid in thee, Joseph, and it schal be seid, God do to thee as to Effraym and as to Manasses. And he settide Effraym bifore Manasses;
Akĩmarathima mũthenya ũcio, akiuga atĩrĩ, “Isiraeli akaarathimanaga akĩgwetaga rĩĩtwa rĩaku akoiga atĩrĩ: ‘Ngai arotũma ũtuĩke o ta Efiraimu na Manase.’” Nĩ ũndũ ũcio akĩgweta Efiraimu mbere ya Manase.
21 and seide to Joseph, his sone, Lo! Y die, and God schal be with you, and schal lede you ayen to the lond of youre fadris;
Ningĩ Isiraeli akĩĩra Jusufu atĩrĩ, “Ndĩ hakuhĩ gũkua, no Ngai nĩegũkorwo hamwe na inyuĩ, na nĩakamũcookia bũrũri-inĩ wa maithe manyu.
22 Y yyue to thee o part ouer thi britheren which Y took fro the hand of Amorei, in my swerd and bowe.
Nawe, ũrĩ ta mwathi wa ariũ a thoguo-rĩ, nĩndakũhe rũgongo rwa bũrũri ũrĩa ndaatunyire Aamori na rũhiũ rwakwa rwa njora na ũta wakwa.”
