Genesis 41
1 Aftir twei yeer Farao seiy a dreem; he gesside that he stood on a flood,
੧ਪੂਰੇ ਦੋ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਫ਼ਨਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨੀਲ ਨਦੀ ਕੋਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ,
2 fro which seuene faire kiyn and ful fatte stieden, and weren fed in the places of mareis;
੨ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ ਨਦੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਗਾਂਈਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਸੋਹਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਟੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਨਿੱਕਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਚੁੱਗਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਈਆਂ।
3 and othere seuene, foule and leene, camen out of the flood, and weren fed in thilk brenke of the watir, in grene places;
੩ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੱਤ ਗਾਂਈਆਂ ਹੋਰ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਕਰੂਪ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿੱਸੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਨਦੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦੂਸਰੀਆਂ ਗਾਈਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ।
4 and tho deuoureden thilke kien of whiche the fairnesse and comelynesse of bodies was wondurful.
੪ਤਦ ਕਰੂਪ ਅਤੇ ਲਿੱਸੀਆਂ ਗਾਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਸੋਹਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਟੀਆਂ ਗਾਂਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਲ ਲਿਆ, ਤਦ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਜਾਗ ਉੱਠਿਆ।
5 Farao wakide, and slepte eft, and seiy another dreem; seuen eeris of corn ful and faire camen forth in o stalke,
੫ਉਹ ਫੇਰ ਸੌਂ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਵਾਰ ਸੁਫ਼ਨਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੋਟੇ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਸੱਤ ਸਿੱਟੇ ਇੱਕ ਨੜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ
6 and othere as many eeris of corn, thinne and smytun with corrupcioun of brennynge wynd,
੬ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਤਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਝੁਲਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੱਤ ਸਿੱਟੇ ਫੁੱਟ ਪਏ।
7 camen forth, deuourynge al the fairenesse of the firste. Farao wakide aftir reste,
੭ਉਹ ਪਤਲੇ ਸਿੱਟੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਮੋਟੇ ਅਤੇ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਿੱਟਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਲ ਗਏ ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਜਾਗ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸੁਫ਼ਨਾ ਹੀ ਸੀ।
8 and whanne morewtid was maad, he was aferd bi inward drede, and he sente to alle the expowneris of Egipt, and to alle wise men; and whanne thei weren clepid, he telde the dreem, and noon was that expownede.
੮ਅਤੇ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਬੇਚੈਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਾਦੂਗਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੋਤਸ਼ੀ ਸੱਦ ਲਏ, ਤਦ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਫ਼ਨੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਨਾ ਦੱਸ ਸਕਿਆ।
9 Thanne at the laste the maistir `of boteleris bithouyte, and seide, Y knowleche my synne;
੯ਤਦ ਸਾਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਏ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅੱਜ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਗਲਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
10 the kyng was wrooth to hise seruauntis, and comaundide me and the maister `of bakeris to be cast doun in to the prisoun of the prince of knyytis,
੧੦ਜਦ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਰਸੋਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਏ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਗ-ਰੱਖਿਅਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੈਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
11 where we bothe saien a dreem in o nyyt, biforeschewynge of thingis to comynge.
੧੧ਤਦ ਅਸੀਂ ਦੋਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੀ ਰਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਰਥ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੁਫ਼ਨਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ।
12 An Ebrew child, seruaunt of the same duk of knyytis was there, to whom we telden the dremes,
੧੨ਅੰਗ-ਰੱਖਿਅਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਦਾ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮ ਇੱਕ ਇਬਰੀ ਜੁਆਨ, ਉੱਥੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੁਫ਼ਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਦੇ ਸੁਫ਼ਨੇ ਦੇ ਅਰਥ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਦੱਸਿਆ।
13 and herden what euer thing the bifallyng of thing preuede afterward; for Y am restorid to myn office, and he was hangid in a cros.
੧੩ਅਤੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਹੋਇਆ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਹਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
14 Anoon at the comaundement of the kyng thei polliden Joseph led out of prisoun, and whanne `the clooth was chaungid, thei brouyten Joseph to the kyng.
੧੪ਤਦ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਛੇਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਦ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢਿਆ। ਉਹ ਹਜਾਮਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਸਤਰ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਇਆ।
15 To whom the kyng seide, Y seiye dremes, and noon is that expowneth tho thingis that Y seiy, I haue herd that thou expownest moost prudentli.
੧੫ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਫ਼ਨਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਦੱਸਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਸੁਫ਼ਨਾ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਦੱਸ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
16 Joseph answerde, With out me, God schal answere prosperitees to Farao.
੧੬ਤਦ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਇਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੀ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
17 Therfor Farao telde that that he seiy; Y gesside that Y stood on the brenke of the flood,
੧੭ਫਿਰ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਫ਼ਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੀਲ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ,
18 and seuene kiyn, ful faire and with fleischis able to etyng, stieden fro the watir, whiche kiyn gaderiden grene seggis in the pasture of the marreis;
੧੮ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ, ਦਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਗਾਂਈਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੋਟੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਹਣੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਨਿੱਕਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਚੁੱਗਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਈਆਂ।
19 and lo! seuene othere kiyn, so foule and leene, sueden these, that Y seiy neuere siche in the lond of Egipt;
੧੯ਫਿਰ ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੋਰ ਸੱਤ ਗਾਂਈਆਂ ਨਿੱਕਲੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਰੂਪ ਅਤੇ ਲਿੱਸੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਕਰੂਪ ਗਾਂਵਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖੀਆਂ।
20 and whanne the formere kien weren deuourid and wastid, tho secounde yauen no steppe of fulnesse,
੨੦ਤਦ ਉਹ ਲਿੱਸੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੂਪ ਗਾਂਈਆਂ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਸੱਤ ਤਕੜੀਆਂ ਗਾਂਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਗਈਆਂ।
21 but weren slowe bi lijk leenesse and palenesse. I wakide, and eft Y was oppressid bi sleep, and Y seiy a dreem;
੨੧ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ ਪਰ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਲੂਮ ਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਸਨ। ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਗ ਉੱਠਿਆ।
22 seuene eeris of corn, ful and faireste, camen forth in o stalke,
੨੨ਫੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਦੂਜਾ ਸੁਫ਼ਨਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ, ਇੱਕ ਨੜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਸੱਤ ਸਿੱਟੇ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ,
23 and othere seuene, thinne and smytun with `corrupcioun of brennynge wynd, camen forth of the stobil,
੨੩ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੱਤ ਸਿੱਟੇ ਕੁਮਲਾਏ ਹੋਏ, ਪਤਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਝੁਲਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਫੁੱਟ ਪਏ।
24 whiche deuouriden the fairenesse of the formere;
੨੪ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਤਲਿਆਂ ਸਿੱਟਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਸੱਤ ਚੰਗੇ ਸਿੱਟਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਲ ਲਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਸੁਫ਼ਨਾ ਜਾਦੂਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਨਾ ਦੱਸ ਸਕਿਆ।
25 Y telde the dreem to expowneris, and no man is that expowneth. Joseph answerde, The dreem of the king is oon; God schewide to Farao what thingis he schal do.
੨੫ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦਾ ਸੁਫ਼ਨਾ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
26 Seuene faire kiyn, and seuene ful eeris of corn, ben seuene yeeris of plentee, and tho comprehenden the same strengthe of dreem;
੨੬ਇਹ ਸੱਤ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਗਾਂਈਆਂ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੱਤ ਸਿੱਟੇ ਵੀ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸੁਫ਼ਨਾ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੀ ਹੈ।
27 and seuene kiyn thinne and leene, that stieden aftir tho, and seuene thinne eeris of corn and smytun with brennynge wynd, ben seuene yeer of hungur to comynge,
੨੭ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਲਿੱਸੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੂਪ ਸੱਤ ਗਾਂਈਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਨਿੱਕਲੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੱਤ ਸਿੱਟੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਤਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਝੁਲਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
28 whiche schulen be fillid bi this ordre.
੨੮ਇਹ ਇਹੋ ਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
29 Lo! seuene yeer of greet plentee in al the lond of Egipt schulen come,
੨੯ਵੇਖੋ, ਸਾਰੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ।
30 and seuene othre yeer of so greet bareynesse schulen sue tho, that al the abundaunce bifore be youun to foryetyng; for the hungur schal waste al the lond,
੩੦ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
31 and the greetnesse of pouert schal leese the greetnesse of plentee.
੩੧ਉਸ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਨਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਕਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਭਾਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
32 Forsothe this that thou siyest the secunde tyme a dreem, perteynynge to the same thing, is a `schewyng of sadnesse, for the word of God schal be doon, and schal be fillid ful swiftli.
੩੨ਇਹ ਸੁਫ਼ਨਾ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਿਖਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੱਕੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਲਦ ਹੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
33 Now therfor puruey the kyng a wijs man and a redi, and make the kyng hym souereyn to the lond of Egipt,
੩੩ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਨ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਠਹਿਰਾਵੇ।
34 which man ordeyne gouernouris bi alle cuntreis, and gadere he in to bernys the fyuethe part of fruytis bi seuene yeer of plentee,
੩੪ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੇ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਦਾ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ ਕਰੇ।
35 that schulen come now; and al the wheete be kept vndur the power of Farao, and be it kept in citees,
੩੫ਉਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਚੰਗਿਆਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਅੰਨ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਨ ਦੇ ਢੇਰ ਲਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਨ।
36 and be it maad redi to the hungur to comynge of seuene yeer that schal oppresse Egipt, and the lond be not wastid bi pouert.
੩੬ਤਦ ਉਹੀ ਅੰਨ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਲ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਵੇਗਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਦੇਸ਼ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਾਸ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ।
37 The counsel pleside Farao,
੩੭ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਜ਼ਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਗੀ ਲੱਗੀ।
38 and alle his mynystris, and he spak to hem, Wher we moun fynde sich a man which is ful of Goddis spirit?
੩੮ਇਸ ਲਈ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਭਲਾ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਵਰਗਾ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲੱਭੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਹੈ?
39 Therfor Farao seide to Joseph, For God hath schewid to thee alle thingis whiche thou hast spoke, wher Y mai fynde a wisere man and lijk thee?
੩੯ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਜਿਹਾ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਨ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ।
40 Therfor thou schalt be ouer myn hous, and al the puple schal obeie to the comaundement of thi mouth; Y schal passe thee onely by o trone of the rewme.
੪੦ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਆਖੇ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚੱਲੇਗੀ। ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਰਾਜ ਗੱਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।
41 And eft Farao seide to Joseph, Lo! Y haue ordeyned thee on al the lond of Egipt.
੪੧ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
42 And Farao took the ryng fro his hond, and yaf it in the hond of Joseph, and he clothide Joseph with a stoole of bijs, and puttide a goldun wrethe aboute the necke;
੪੨ਤਦ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੋਹਰ ਦੀ ਅੰਗੂਠੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਲਾਹ ਕੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਹੀਨ ਬਸਤਰ ਪਵਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗਲ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
43 and Farao made Joseph to `stie on his secounde chare, while a bidele criede, that alle men schulden knele bifore hym, and schulden knowe that he was souereyn of al the lond of Egipt.
੪੩ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਰਜੇ ਦੇ ਰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਠਾਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮਨਾਦੀ ਕਰਵਾਈ “ਗੋਡੇ ਨਿਵਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕੋ,” ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
44 And the kyng seide to Joseph, Y am Farao, without thi comaundement no man shal stire hond ether foot in al the lond of Egipt.
੪੪ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ-ਪੈਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਿਲਾਵੇਗਾ।
45 And he turnede the name of Joseph, and clepide him bi Egipcian langage, the sauyour of the world; and he yaf to Joseph a wijf, Asenech, the douyter of Potifar, preest of Heliopoleos. And so Joseph yede out to the lond of Egipt.
੪੫ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਾਫਨਥ ਪਾਨੇਆਹ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਊਨ ਦੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਪੋਟੀ-ਫ਼ਰਾ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਆਸਨਥ ਵਿਆਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ।
46 Forsothe Joseph was of thretti yeer, whanne he stood in the siyt of kyng Farao, and cumpasside alle the cuntreis of Egipt.
੪੬ਜਦ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਤੀਹ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣਿਓਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਕੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੌਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
47 And the plente of seuene yeer cam, and ripe corn weren bounden into handfuls, and weren gaderid into the bernys of Egipt,
੪੭ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਹੋਈ।
48 also al the aboundaunce of cornes weren kept in alle citeis,
੪੮ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਏ, ਸਾਰਾ ਅੰਨ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ-ਤੇੜੇ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਨ ਉਸੇ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ।
49 and so greet aboundaunce was of wheete, that it was maad euene to the grauel of the see, and the plente passide mesure.
੪੯ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਢੇਰ ਸਾਰਾ ਅੰਨ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਰੇਤ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਲੇਖਿਓਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਸੀ।
50 Sotheli twei sones were born to Joseph bifor that the hungur came, whiche Asenech, douytir of Putifar, preest of Heliopoleos, childide to hym.
੫੦ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਊਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਪੋਟੀ-ਫ਼ਰਾ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਆਸਨਥ ਨੇ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
51 And he clepide the name of the firste gendrid sone, Manasses, and seide, God hath maad me to foryete alle my traueilis, and the hous of my fadir;
੫੧ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੌਠੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਘਰ ਭੁਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
52 and he clepide the name of the secunde sone Effraym, and seide, God hath maad me to encreesse in the lond of my pouert.
੫੨ਦੂਜੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਇਹ ਆਖ ਕੇ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਲਦਾਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
53 Therfor whanne seuene yeer of plentee that weren in Egipt weren passid,
੫੩ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਏ ਸਨ, ਮੁੱਕ ਗਏ।
54 seuene yeer of pouert bigunnen to come, whiche Joseph bifore seide, and hungur hadde the maistri in al the world; also hungur was in al the lond of Egipt;
੫੪ਜਦ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਏ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਟੀ ਸੀ।
55 and whanne that lond hungride, the puple criede to Farao, and axide metis; to whiche he answeride, Go ye to Joseph, and do ye what euer thing he seith to you.
੫੫ਜਦ ਮਿਸਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭੁੱਖਾ ਮਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ ਤਦ ਪਰਜਾ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਲਈ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦੇਣ ਲੱਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਿਸਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਹ ਆਖੇ ਸੋ ਕਰੋ।
56 Forsothe hungur encreesside ech dai in al the lond, and Joseph openyde alle the bernys, and seelde to Egipcians, for also hungur oppresside hem;
੫੬ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਮਿਸਰੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਅੰਨ ਵੇਚਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
57 and alle prouynces camen in to Egipt to bie metis, and to abate the yuel of nedynesse.
੫੭ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਅੰਨ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਲਈ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸੀ।
