Genesis 41
1 Aftir twei yeer Farao seiy a dreem; he gesside that he stood on a flood,
१पूरे दो वर्ष के बीतने पर फ़िरौन ने यह स्वप्न देखा कि वह नील नदी के किनारे खड़ा है।
2 fro which seuene faire kiyn and ful fatte stieden, and weren fed in the places of mareis;
२और उस नदी में से सात सुन्दर और मोटी-मोटी गायें निकलकर कछार की घास चरने लगीं।
3 and othere seuene, foule and leene, camen out of the flood, and weren fed in thilk brenke of the watir, in grene places;
३और, क्या देखा कि उनके पीछे और सात गायें, जो कुरूप और दुर्बल हैं, नदी से निकलीं; और दूसरी गायों के निकट नदी के तट पर जा खड़ी हुईं।
4 and tho deuoureden thilke kien of whiche the fairnesse and comelynesse of bodies was wondurful.
४तब ये कुरूप और दुर्बल गायें उन सात सुन्दर और मोटी-मोटी गायों को खा गईं। तब फ़िरौन जाग उठा।
5 Farao wakide, and slepte eft, and seiy another dreem; seuen eeris of corn ful and faire camen forth in o stalke,
५और वह फिर सो गया और दूसरा स्वप्न देखा कि एक डंठल में से सात मोटी और अच्छी-अच्छी बालें निकलीं।
6 and othere as many eeris of corn, thinne and smytun with corrupcioun of brennynge wynd,
६और, क्या देखा कि उनके पीछे सात बालें पतली और पुरवाई से मुर्झाई हुई निकलीं।
7 camen forth, deuourynge al the fairenesse of the firste. Farao wakide aftir reste,
७और इन पतली बालों ने उन सातों मोटी और अन्न से भरी हुई बालों को निगल लिया। तब फ़िरौन जागा, और उसे मालूम हुआ कि यह स्वप्न ही था।
8 and whanne morewtid was maad, he was aferd bi inward drede, and he sente to alle the expowneris of Egipt, and to alle wise men; and whanne thei weren clepid, he telde the dreem, and noon was that expownede.
८भोर को फ़िरौन का मन व्याकुल हुआ; और उसने मिस्र के सब ज्योतिषियों, और पंडितों को बुलवा भेजा; और उनको अपने स्वप्न बताए; पर उनमें से कोई भी उनका फल फ़िरौन को न बता सका।
9 Thanne at the laste the maistir `of boteleris bithouyte, and seide, Y knowleche my synne;
९तब पिलानेहारों का प्रधान फ़िरौन से बोल उठा, “मेरे अपराध आज मुझे स्मरण आए:
10 the kyng was wrooth to hise seruauntis, and comaundide me and the maister `of bakeris to be cast doun in to the prisoun of the prince of knyytis,
१०जब फ़िरौन अपने दासों से क्रोधित हुआ था, और मुझे और पकानेहारों के प्रधान को कैद कराके अंगरक्षकों के प्रधान के घर के बन्दीगृह में डाल दिया था;
11 where we bothe saien a dreem in o nyyt, biforeschewynge of thingis to comynge.
११तब हम दोनों ने एक ही रात में, अपने-अपने होनहार के अनुसार स्वप्न देखा;
12 An Ebrew child, seruaunt of the same duk of knyytis was there, to whom we telden the dremes,
१२और वहाँ हमारे साथ एक इब्री जवान था, जो अंगरक्षकों के प्रधान का दास था; अतः हमने उसको बताया, और उसने हमारे स्वप्नों का फल हम से कहा, हम में से एक-एक के स्वप्न का फल उसने बता दिया।
13 and herden what euer thing the bifallyng of thing preuede afterward; for Y am restorid to myn office, and he was hangid in a cros.
१३और जैसा-जैसा फल उसने हम से कहा था, वैसा ही हुआ भी, अर्थात् मुझ को तो मेरा पद फिर मिला, पर वह फांसी पर लटकाया गया।”
14 Anoon at the comaundement of the kyng thei polliden Joseph led out of prisoun, and whanne `the clooth was chaungid, thei brouyten Joseph to the kyng.
१४तब फ़िरौन ने यूसुफ को बुलवा भेजा। और वह झटपट बन्दीगृह से बाहर निकाला गया, और बाल बनवाकर, और वस्त्र बदलकर फ़िरौन के सामने आया।
15 To whom the kyng seide, Y seiye dremes, and noon is that expowneth tho thingis that Y seiy, I haue herd that thou expownest moost prudentli.
१५फ़िरौन ने यूसुफ से कहा, “मैंने एक स्वप्न देखा है, और उसके फल का बतानेवाला कोई भी नहीं; और मैंने तेरे विषय में सुना है, कि तू स्वप्न सुनते ही उसका फल बता सकता है।”
16 Joseph answerde, With out me, God schal answere prosperitees to Farao.
१६यूसुफ ने फ़िरौन से कहा, “मैं तो कुछ नहीं जानता: परमेश्वर ही फ़िरौन के लिये शुभ वचन देगा।”
17 Therfor Farao telde that that he seiy; Y gesside that Y stood on the brenke of the flood,
१७फिर फ़िरौन यूसुफ से कहने लगा, “मैंने अपने स्वप्न में देखा, कि मैं नील नदी के किनारे पर खड़ा हूँ।
18 and seuene kiyn, ful faire and with fleischis able to etyng, stieden fro the watir, whiche kiyn gaderiden grene seggis in the pasture of the marreis;
१८फिर, क्या देखा, कि नदी में से सात मोटी और सुन्दर-सुन्दर गायें निकलकर कछार की घास चरने लगीं।
19 and lo! seuene othere kiyn, so foule and leene, sueden these, that Y seiy neuere siche in the lond of Egipt;
१९फिर, क्या देखा, कि उनके पीछे सात और गायें निकली, जो दुबली, और बहुत कुरूप, और दुर्बल हैं; मैंने तो सारे मिस्र देश में ऐसी कुडौल गायें कभी नहीं देखीं।
20 and whanne the formere kien weren deuourid and wastid, tho secounde yauen no steppe of fulnesse,
२०इन दुर्बल और कुडौल गायों ने उन पहली सातों मोटी-मोटी गायों को खा लिया।
21 but weren slowe bi lijk leenesse and palenesse. I wakide, and eft Y was oppressid bi sleep, and Y seiy a dreem;
२१और जब वे उनको खा गईं तब यह मालूम नहीं होता था कि वे उनको खा गई हैं, क्योंकि वे पहले के समान जैसी की तैसी कुडौल रहीं। तब मैं जाग उठा।
22 seuene eeris of corn, ful and faireste, camen forth in o stalke,
२२फिर मैंने दूसरा स्वप्न देखा, कि एक ही डंठल में सात अच्छी-अच्छी और अन्न से भरी हुई बालें निकलीं।
23 and othere seuene, thinne and smytun with `corrupcioun of brennynge wynd, camen forth of the stobil,
२३फिर क्या देखता हूँ, कि उनके पीछे और सात बालें छूछी-छूछी और पतली और पुरवाई से मुर्झाई हुई निकलीं।
24 whiche deuouriden the fairenesse of the formere;
२४और इन पतली बालों ने उन सात अच्छी-अच्छी बालों को निगल लिया। इसे मैंने ज्योतिषियों को बताया, पर इसका समझानेवाला कोई नहीं मिला।”
25 Y telde the dreem to expowneris, and no man is that expowneth. Joseph answerde, The dreem of the king is oon; God schewide to Farao what thingis he schal do.
२५तब यूसुफ ने फ़िरौन से कहा, “फ़िरौन का स्वप्न एक ही है, परमेश्वर जो काम करना चाहता है, उसको उसने फ़िरौन पर प्रगट किया है।
26 Seuene faire kiyn, and seuene ful eeris of corn, ben seuene yeeris of plentee, and tho comprehenden the same strengthe of dreem;
२६वे सात अच्छी-अच्छी गायें सात वर्ष हैं; और वे सात अच्छी-अच्छी बालें भी सात वर्ष हैं; स्वप्न एक ही है।
27 and seuene kiyn thinne and leene, that stieden aftir tho, and seuene thinne eeris of corn and smytun with brennynge wynd, ben seuene yeer of hungur to comynge,
२७फिर उनके पीछे जो दुर्बल और कुडौल गायें निकलीं, और जो सात छूछी और पुरवाई से मुर्झाई हुई बालें निकालीं, वे अकाल के सात वर्ष होंगे।
28 whiche schulen be fillid bi this ordre.
२८यह वही बात है जो मैं फ़िरौन से कह चुका हूँ, कि परमेश्वर जो काम करना चाहता है, उसे उसने फ़िरौन को दिखाया है।
29 Lo! seuene yeer of greet plentee in al the lond of Egipt schulen come,
२९सुन, सारे मिस्र देश में सात वर्ष तो बहुतायत की उपज के होंगे।
30 and seuene othre yeer of so greet bareynesse schulen sue tho, that al the abundaunce bifore be youun to foryetyng; for the hungur schal waste al the lond,
३०उनके पश्चात् सात वर्ष अकाल के आएँगे, और सारे मिस्र देश में लोग इस सारी उपज को भूल जाएँगे; और अकाल से देश का नाश होगा।
31 and the greetnesse of pouert schal leese the greetnesse of plentee.
३१और सुकाल (बहुतायत की उपज) देश में फिर स्मरण न रहेगा क्योंकि अकाल अत्यन्त भयंकर होगा।
32 Forsothe this that thou siyest the secunde tyme a dreem, perteynynge to the same thing, is a `schewyng of sadnesse, for the word of God schal be doon, and schal be fillid ful swiftli.
३२और फ़िरौन ने जो यह स्वप्न दो बार देखा है इसका भेद यही है कि यह बात परमेश्वर की ओर से नियुक्त हो चुकी है, और परमेश्वर इसे शीघ्र ही पूरा करेगा।
33 Now therfor puruey the kyng a wijs man and a redi, and make the kyng hym souereyn to the lond of Egipt,
३३इसलिए अब फ़िरौन किसी समझदार और बुद्धिमान् पुरुष को ढूँढ़ करके उसे मिस्र देश पर प्रधानमंत्री ठहराए।
34 which man ordeyne gouernouris bi alle cuntreis, and gadere he in to bernys the fyuethe part of fruytis bi seuene yeer of plentee,
३४फ़िरौन यह करे कि देश पर अधिकारियों को नियुक्त करे, और जब तक सुकाल के सात वर्ष रहें तब तक वह मिस्र देश की उपज का पंचमांश लिया करे।
35 that schulen come now; and al the wheete be kept vndur the power of Farao, and be it kept in citees,
३५और वे इन अच्छे वर्षों में सब प्रकार की भोजनवस्तु इकट्ठा करें, और नगर-नगर में भण्डार घर भोजन के लिये, फ़िरौन के वश में करके उसकी रक्षा करें।
36 and be it maad redi to the hungur to comynge of seuene yeer that schal oppresse Egipt, and the lond be not wastid bi pouert.
३६और वह भोजनवस्तु अकाल के उन सात वर्षों के लिये, जो मिस्र देश में आएँगे, देश के भोजन के निमित्त रखी रहे, जिससे देश का उस अकाल से सत्यानाश न हो जाए।”
37 The counsel pleside Farao,
३७यह बात फ़िरौन और उसके सारे कर्मचारियों को अच्छी लगी।
38 and alle his mynystris, and he spak to hem, Wher we moun fynde sich a man which is ful of Goddis spirit?
३८इसलिए फ़िरौन ने अपने कर्मचारियों से कहा, “क्या हमको ऐसा पुरुष, जैसा यह है, जिसमें परमेश्वर का आत्मा रहता है, मिल सकता है?”
39 Therfor Farao seide to Joseph, For God hath schewid to thee alle thingis whiche thou hast spoke, wher Y mai fynde a wisere man and lijk thee?
३९फिर फ़िरौन ने यूसुफ से कहा, “परमेश्वर ने जो तुझे इतना ज्ञान दिया है, कि तेरे तुल्य कोई समझदार और बुद्धिमान नहीं;
40 Therfor thou schalt be ouer myn hous, and al the puple schal obeie to the comaundement of thi mouth; Y schal passe thee onely by o trone of the rewme.
४०इस कारण तू मेरे घर का अधिकारी होगा, और तेरी आज्ञा के अनुसार मेरी सारी प्रजा चलेगी, केवल राजगद्दी के विषय मैं तुझ से बड़ा ठहरूँगा।”
41 And eft Farao seide to Joseph, Lo! Y haue ordeyned thee on al the lond of Egipt.
४१फिर फ़िरौन ने यूसुफ से कहा, “सुन, मैं तुझको मिस्र के सारे देश के ऊपर अधिकारी ठहरा देता हूँ।”
42 And Farao took the ryng fro his hond, and yaf it in the hond of Joseph, and he clothide Joseph with a stoole of bijs, and puttide a goldun wrethe aboute the necke;
४२तब फ़िरौन ने अपने हाथ से मुहर वाली अंगूठी निकालकर यूसुफ के हाथ में पहना दी; और उसको बढ़िया मलमल के वस्त्र पहनवा दिए, और उसके गले में सोने की माला डाल दी;
43 and Farao made Joseph to `stie on his secounde chare, while a bidele criede, that alle men schulden knele bifore hym, and schulden knowe that he was souereyn of al the lond of Egipt.
४३और उसको अपने दूसरे रथ पर चढ़वाया; और लोग उसके आगे-आगे यह प्रचार करते चले, कि घुटने टेककर दण्डवत् करो और उसने उसको मिस्र के सारे देश के ऊपर प्रधानमंत्री ठहराया।
44 And the kyng seide to Joseph, Y am Farao, without thi comaundement no man shal stire hond ether foot in al the lond of Egipt.
४४फिर फ़िरौन ने यूसुफ से कहा, “फ़िरौन तो मैं हूँ, और सारे मिस्र देश में कोई भी तेरी आज्ञा के बिना हाथ पाँव न हिलाएगा।”
45 And he turnede the name of Joseph, and clepide him bi Egipcian langage, the sauyour of the world; and he yaf to Joseph a wijf, Asenech, the douyter of Potifar, preest of Heliopoleos. And so Joseph yede out to the lond of Egipt.
४५फ़िरौन ने यूसुफ का नाम सापनत-पानेह रखा। और ओन नगर के याजक पोतीपेरा की बेटी आसनत से उसका ब्याह करा दिया। और यूसुफ सारे मिस्र देश में दौरा करने लगा।
46 Forsothe Joseph was of thretti yeer, whanne he stood in the siyt of kyng Farao, and cumpasside alle the cuntreis of Egipt.
४६जब यूसुफ मिस्र के राजा फ़िरौन के सम्मुख खड़ा हुआ, तब वह तीस वर्ष का था। वह फ़िरौन के सम्मुख से निकलकर सारे मिस्र देश में दौरा करने लगा।
47 And the plente of seuene yeer cam, and ripe corn weren bounden into handfuls, and weren gaderid into the bernys of Egipt,
४७सुकाल के सातों वर्षों में भूमि बहुतायत से अन्न उपजाती रही।
48 also al the aboundaunce of cornes weren kept in alle citeis,
४८और यूसुफ उन सातों वर्षों में सब प्रकार की भोजनवस्तुएँ, जो मिस्र देश में होती थीं, जमा करके नगरों में रखता गया, और हर एक नगर के चारों ओर के खेतों की भोजनवस्तुओं को वह उसी नगर में इकट्ठा करता गया।
49 and so greet aboundaunce was of wheete, that it was maad euene to the grauel of the see, and the plente passide mesure.
४९इस प्रकार यूसुफ ने अन्न को समुद्र की रेत के समान अत्यन्त बहुतायत से राशि-राशि गिनके रखा, यहाँ तक कि उसने उनका गिनना छोड़ दिया; क्योंकि वे असंख्य हो गईं।
50 Sotheli twei sones were born to Joseph bifor that the hungur came, whiche Asenech, douytir of Putifar, preest of Heliopoleos, childide to hym.
५०अकाल के प्रथम वर्ष के आने से पहले यूसुफ के दो पुत्र, ओन के याजक पोतीपेरा की बेटी आसनत से जन्मे।
51 And he clepide the name of the firste gendrid sone, Manasses, and seide, God hath maad me to foryete alle my traueilis, and the hous of my fadir;
५१और यूसुफ ने अपने जेठे का नाम यह कहकर मनश्शे रखा, कि ‘परमेश्वर ने मुझसे मेरा सारा क्लेश, और मेरे पिता का सारा घराना भुला दिया है।’
52 and he clepide the name of the secunde sone Effraym, and seide, God hath maad me to encreesse in the lond of my pouert.
५२दूसरे का नाम उसने यह कहकर एप्रैम रखा, कि ‘मुझे दुःख भोगने के देश में परमेश्वर ने फलवन्त किया है।’
53 Therfor whanne seuene yeer of plentee that weren in Egipt weren passid,
५३और मिस्र देश के सुकाल के सात वर्ष समाप्त हो गए।
54 seuene yeer of pouert bigunnen to come, whiche Joseph bifore seide, and hungur hadde the maistri in al the world; also hungur was in al the lond of Egipt;
५४और यूसुफ के कहने के अनुसार सात वर्षों के लिये अकाल आरम्भ हो गया। सब देशों में अकाल पड़ने लगा; परन्तु सारे मिस्र देश में अन्न था।
55 and whanne that lond hungride, the puple criede to Farao, and axide metis; to whiche he answeride, Go ye to Joseph, and do ye what euer thing he seith to you.
५५जब मिस्र का सारा देश भूखा मरने लगा; तब प्रजा फ़िरौन से चिल्ला चिल्लाकर रोटी माँगने लगी; और वह सब मिस्रियों से कहा करता था, “यूसुफ के पास जाओ; और जो कुछ वह तुम से कहे, वही करो।”
56 Forsothe hungur encreesside ech dai in al the lond, and Joseph openyde alle the bernys, and seelde to Egipcians, for also hungur oppresside hem;
५६इसलिए जब अकाल सारी पृथ्वी पर फैल गया, और मिस्र देश में अकाल का भयंकर रूप हो गया, तब यूसुफ सब भण्डारों को खोल-खोलकर मिस्रियों के हाथ अन्न बेचने लगा।
57 and alle prouynces camen in to Egipt to bie metis, and to abate the yuel of nedynesse.
५७इसलिए सारी पृथ्वी के लोग मिस्र में अन्न मोल लेने के लिये यूसुफ के पास आने लगे, क्योंकि सारी पृथ्वी पर भयंकर अकाल था।
