Genesis 37
1 Forsothe Jacob dwellide in the lond of Canaan, in which his fadir was a pilgrym; and these weren the generaciouns of hym.
Nagpuyo si Jacob sa dapit nga gipuy-an sa iyang amahan sa yuta sa Canaan.
2 Joseph whanne he was of sixtene yeer, yit a child, kepte a flok with hise britheren, and was with the sones of Bala and Zelfa, wyues of his fadir; and he accuside his britheren at the fadir of `the worste synne.
Mao kini ang mga panghitabo mahitungod kang Jacob. Si Jose, usa ka batan-on nga nag-edad ug 17 anyos, nagabantay siya ug karnero uban sa iyang mga igsoon. Kuyog niya ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Bilha ug anak nga lalaki ni Zilpa, mga asawa sa iyang amahan. Ginasumbong ni Jose ngadto sa iyang amahan ang mga dili maayo nila nga binuhatan.
3 Forsothe Israel louyde Joseph ouer alle hise sones, for he hadde gendrid hym in eelde; and he made to Joseph a cote of many colours.
Karon gihigugma pag-ayo ni Israel si Jose labaw pa sa iyang mga anak nga lalaki tungod kay anak man siya sa iyang pagkatigulang. Tungod niini gibuhatan niya siya ug maanindot nga bisti.
4 Forsothe hise britheren sien that he was loued of the fader more than alle, and thei hatiden hym, and myyten not speke ony thing pesibli to hym.
Nakita sa iyang mga igsoon nga ang ilang amahan nahigugma pag-ayo kaniya labaw pa sa tanan nilang managsuon. Busa nasuko sila kaniya ug dili maayo ang ilang pagtagad ngadto kaniya.
5 And it bifelde that he telde to hise britheren a sweuene seyn, which cause was `the seed of more hatrede.
Nagdamgo si Jose, ug gisuginlan niya ang iyang mga igsoon mahitungod niini. Nisamot ang ilang kasuko kaniya.
6 And Joseph seide to his britheren, Here ye the sweuene which Y seiy,
Miingon siya kanila, “Palihog paminawa kining akong nadamgohan.
7 Y gesside that we bounden to gidere handfuls, and that as myn handful roos, and stood, and that youre handfuls stoden aboute and worschipiden myn handful.
Tan-awa, nagbugkos kita ug mga trigo sa kaumahan, ug tan-awa, ang akong binugkos mitindog ug mipataas, ug tan-awa, ang inyong mga binugkos mipalibot ug miyukbo sa akong binugkos.”
8 Hise britheren answerden, Whether thou shalt be oure kyng, ethir we shulen be maad suget to thi lordschip? Therfor this cause of sweuenys and wordis mynystride the nurschyng of enuye, and of hatrede.
Ang iyang mga igsoon miingon kaniya, “Maghari ka ba diay kanamo? Maghari ka ba gayod diay kanamo?” Misamot pa ang ilang kasuko kaniya tungod sa iyang damgo ug sa iyang mga gipamulong.
9 Also Joseph seiy another sweuene, which he telde to the britheren, and seide, Y seiy bi a sweuene that as the sunne, and moone, and enleuen sterris worschipiden me.
Nagdamgo na usab siya ug lain nga damgo ug iya kining gisugilon sa iyang mga igsoon. Miingon siya, “Tan-awa, nagdamgo ako ug lain na usab nga damgo: Ang adlaw ug bulan ug ang napulog usa ka mga bituon miyukbo kanako.”
10 And whanne he hadde teld this sweuene to his fadir, and britheren, his fadir blamyde him, and seide, What wole this sweuene to it silf which thou hast seyn? Whether Y and thi modir, and thi britheren, schulen worschipe thee on erthe?
Gisugilon niya kini sa iyang amahan ingon man sa iyang mga igsoon, ug gibadlong siya sa iyang amahan. Miingon siya kaniya, “Unsa ba kining imong gidamgo? Moyukbo ba ako ug ang imong inahan, ingon man ang imong mga igsoon nganha kanimo?”
11 Therfor hise britheren hadden enuye to hym. Forsothe the fadir bihelde pryuely the thing,
Nasina ang iyang mga igsoon kaniya, apan gitipigan sa hunahuna sa iyang amahan kining mga butanga.
12 and whanne his britheren dwelliden in Sichem, aboute flockis of the fadir `to be kept,
Miadto sa Shekem ang iyang mga igsoon aron pagbantay sa mga karnero sa ilang amahan.
13 Israel seide to Joseph, Thi britheren kepen scheep in Sichymys; come thou, Y schal sende thee to hem.
Miingon si Israel kang Jose, “Dili ba nagbantay man sa mga karnero sa Shekem ang imong mga igsoon? Dali, ug ipadala ko ikaw ngadto kanila.” Miingon si Jose kaniya, “Andam ako.”
14 And whanne Joseph answerde, Y am redi, Israel seide, Go thou, and se whether alle thingis ben esi anentis thi britheren, and scheep; and telle thou to me what is doon. He was sent fro the valey of Ebron, and cam into Sichem;
Miingon siya kaniya, “Lakaw na karon, tan-awa kung maayo ba ang kahimtang sa imong mga igsoon ingon man ang mga karnero, ug suginli ako.” Busa gipaadto siya ni Jacob gawas sa walog sa Hebron ug miadto si Jose sa Shekem.
15 and a man foond hym errynge in the feeld, and `the man axide, what he souyte.
Adunay usa ka tawo nga nakakita kang Jose. Tan-awa, naglatagaw si Jose sa kaumahan. Miingon ang tawo kaniya, “Unsa man ang imong gipangita?”
16 And he answerde, Y seke my britheren, schewe thou to me where thei kepten flockis.
Miingon si Jose, “Gipangita ko ang akong mga igsoon. Palihog sultihi ako, kung asa sila nagbantay sa mga karnero.”
17 And the man seide to hym, Thei yeden awei fro this place; forsothe Y herde hem seiynge, Go we into Dothaym. And Joseph yede aftir his britheren, and foond hem in Dothaym.
Miingon ang tawo, “Mibiya sila niini nga dapit, kay nadungog ko sila, nga nag-ingon, 'Moadto kita sa Dotan.'” Miapas si Jose sa iyang mga igsoong lalaki ug nakita niya sila didto sa Dotan.
18 And whanne thei hadden seyn hym afer, bifor that he neiyede to hem,
Nakita nila siya sa layo, ug sa wala pa siya maabot duol kanila, naglaraw sila nga patyon siya.
19 thei thouyten to sle hym, and spaken to gidere, Lo! the dremere cometh, come ye,
Ang iyang mga igsoon miingon sa usag-usa, “Tan-awa, nagpaingon dinhi ang tigdamgo.
20 sle we hym, and sende we into an eld sisterne, and we schulen seie, A wielde beeste ful wickid hath deuourid hym; and thanne it schal appere what hise dremes profiten to hym.
Busa, dali kamo, patyon ta siya ug ihulog siya sa isa sa mga atabay ug moingon kita, 'Gilamoy siya sa ihalas nga mananap.' Tan-awon ta kung unsa ang mahitabo sa iyang mga damgo.'”
21 Sotheli Ruben herde this, and enforside to delyuere hym fro her hondis,
Nakadungog si Ruben niini ug giluwas niya siya sa ilang mga kamot. Miingon siya, “Dili nato kuhaon ang iyang kinabuhi.”
22 and seide, Sle we not the lijf of hym, nether schede we out his blood, but caste ye hym into an eeld cisterne, which is in the wildirnesse, and kepe ye youre hondis gilteles. Forsothe he seide this, willynge to delyuere hym fro her hondis, and to yelde to his fadir.
Miingon si Ruben kanila, “Walay dugo nga angay moawas. Ihulog siya niining atabay nga anaa sa kamingawan, apan ayaw ninyo siya dapati”— aron luwason niya siya gikan sa ilang mga kamot ug dad-on siya pagbalik sa iyang amahan.
23 Therfor anoon as Joseph cam to hise britheren, thei dispuyliden hym of the coote, doun to the heele, and of many colours, and senten into the eeld cisterne,
Sa dihang niabot na si Jose sa iyang mga igsoon, gigisi nila ang iyang maanindot nga bisti.
24 that hadde no water.
Ila siyang gikuha ug gihulog siya sa atabay. Walay tubig kadto nga atabay.
25 And thei saten `to ete breed; and thei sien that Ismaelitis weigoers camen fro Galaad, and that her camels baren swete smellynge spiceries, and `rosyn, and stacten, into Egipt.
Nanglingkod sila aron mokaon ug tinapay. Sa dihang mihangad sila ug mitan-aw, tan-awa, ilang nakita ang panon sa mga Ismaelita nga gikan sa Gilead, uban sa ilang mga kamelyo nga nagkarga ug mga lamas ug balsamo ug mira. Nagpanaw sila aron ila kining dad-on paubos sa Ehipto.
26 Therfor Judas seide to hise britheren, What schal it profite to vs, if we schulen sle oure brother, and schulen hide his blood?
Miingon si Juda sa iyang mga igsoon, “Unsa man ang atong makuha kung patyon ta ang atong igsoon ug tabonan ang iyang dugo?
27 It is betere that he be seeld to Ismalitis, and oure hondis be not defoulid, for he is oure brother and fleisch. The britheren assentiden to these wordis;
Dali kamo, ibaligya ta siya sa mga Ismaelita ug dili nato siya dapatan. Tungod kay ato siyang igsoon, atong unod.” Ang iyang mga igsoon naminaw kaniya.
28 and whanne marchauntis of Madian passiden forth, thei drowen hym out of the cisterne, and seelden hym to Ismaelitis, for thriytti platis of siluer; whiche ledden hym in to Egipt.
Milabay ang Midianhon nga negosyanti. Gikuha sa iyang mga igsoon si Jose gawas sa atabay. Ug unya gibaligya nila si Jose ngadto sa mga Ismaelita sa 20 kabuok nga plata. Gidala si Jose sa mga Ismaelita ngadto sa Ehipto.
29 And Ruben turnede ayen to the cisterne, and foond not the child;
Mibalik si Ruben sa atabay, ug tan-awa, wala na didto si Jose sa atabay. Gigisi niya ang iyang bisti.
30 and he to-rente his closis, and he yede to hise britheren, and seide, The child apperith not, and whidir schal Y go?
Mibalik siya sa iyang mga igsoon ug miingon, “Asa na ang bata? Ug ako, asa na man ako moadto?”
31 Forsothe thei token his coote, and dippiden in the blood of a kide, which thei hadden slayn; and senten men that baren to the fadir,
Nagpatay sila ug kanding unya gikuha ang bisti ni Jose ug gituslob kini sa dugo.
32 and seiden, We han founde this coote, se, whether it is the coote of thi sone, ether nai.
Unya gidala nila kini sa ilang amahan ug miingon, “Nakita namo kini. Palihog tan-awa kung bisti ba kini sa imong anak o dili.”
33 And whanne the fader hadde knowe it, he seide, It is the coote of my sone, a wielde beeste ful wickid hath ete hym, a beeste hath deuourid Joseph.
Nailhan kini ni Jacob ug miingon, “Bisti kini sa akong anak. Gitukob siya sa ihalas nga mananap. Sigurado gayod nga gikunis-kunis niini si Jose.”
34 And he to-rente his clothis, and he was clothid with an heire, and biweilide his sone in myche tyme.
Gigisi ni Jacob ang iyang bisti ug nagsul-ob ug sako sa iyang hawak. Nagbangotan siya alang sa iyang anak sa daghang mga adlaw.
35 Sothely whanne hise fre children weren gaderid to gidere, that thei schulden peese the sorewe of the fadir, he nolde take counfort, but seide, Y schal go doun in to helle, and schal biweile my sone. And the while Jacob contynude in wepyng, (Sheol h7585)
Ang tanan niyang anak nga lalaki ug mga babaye miadto kaniya ug gihupay siya, apan wala siya mosugot nga ila siyang hupayon. Miingon siya, “Sa pagkatinuod, moadto ako sa seol ug magbangotan alang sa akong anak.” Mihilak ang iyang amahan alang kaniya. (Sheol h7585)
36 Madianytis seelden Joseph into Egipt to Putifar, chast `and onest seruaunt of Farao, maistir of the chyualrie.
Gibaligya siya sa mga Midianhon didto sa Ehipto ngadto kang Potifar, usa ka opisyal ni Paraon, ang kapitan sa mga guwardiya.
