Genesis 36
1 Forsothe these ben the generaciouns of Esau; he is Edom.
Hivi ndivyo vizazi vya Esau (yaani Edomu).
2 Esau took wyues of the douytris of Canaan, Ada, the douytir of Elom Ethey, and Oolibama, the douyter of Ana, sone of Sebeon Euey; also Bathsemath,

3 the douytir of Ismael, the sistir of Nabioth.

4 Forsothe Ada childide Elifath; Batsemath childide Rahuel; Oolibama childide Hieus,
Ada akamzalia Esau Elifazi, Basemathi akamzaa Reueli,
5 and Hielon, and Chore. These weren the sones of Esau, that weren borun to hym in the lond of Canaan.
Oholibama akamzaa Yeushi, Yalamu na Kora. Hawa ndio wana wa Esau waliozaliwa kwake huko Kanaani.
6 Sotheli Esau took hise wyues, and sones, and douytris, and ech soule of his hows, and catel, and scheep, and alle thingis whiche he `myyte haue in the lond of Canaan, and yede into anothir cuntrey, and departide fro his brother Jacob; for thei weren ful riche,
Esau akawachukua wake zake, watoto wake wa kiume na wa kike na wote wa nyumbani mwake, mifugo yake pamoja na wanyama wake wengine wote na mali yake yote ambayo alikuwa ameipata akiwa Kanaani, akahamia katika nchi iliyo mbali na Yakobo ndugu yake.
7 and thei miyten not dwelle to gidere, and the erthe of her pilgrymage susteynede not hem, for the multitude of flockis.
Mali zao zilikuwa nyingi sana kiasi kwamba haikuwa rahisi wao kuishi pamoja, nchi waliyokuwa wakiishi isingewatosha wote kwa ajili ya mifugo yao.
8 And Esau dwellide in the hil of Seir; he is Edom.
Kwa hiyo Esau (ambaye ni Edomu) aliishi katika nchi ya kilima huko Seiri.
9 Forsothe these weren the generaciouns of Esau, fader of Edom,
Hawa ndio wazao wa Esau, baba wa Waedomu, katika nchi ya kilima cha Seiri.
10 in the hil of Seir, and these weren the names of hise sones. Elifath, sone of Ada, `wijf of Esau; also Rahuel sone of Bathsemath, `wijf of hym.
Haya ndiyo majina ya wana wa Esau: Elifazi, mwana wa Esau ambaye mkewe Ada alimzalia; na Reueli, mwana wa Esau ambaye mkewe Basemathi alimzalia.
11 And the sones of Elifath weren, Theman, Emath, Sephu, and Gathan, and Ceneth, and Chore.
Wana wa Elifazi ni: Temani, Omari, Sefo, Gatamu na Kenazi.
12 Forsothe Tanna was the secundarie wijf of Elifath, `sone of Esau, whiche Tanna childide to hym Amalech. These weren the sones of Ada, `wijf of Esau.
Elifazi mwana wa Esau alikuwa pia na suria aliyeitwa Timna, ambaye alimzalia Amaleki. Hawa ndio waliokuwa wajukuu wa Ada mke wa Esau.
13 Forsothe the sones of Rahuel weren, Naath, and Zara, and Semna, and Meza. These weren the sones of Bathsemath, `wijf of Esau.
Wana wa Reueli ni: Nahathi, Zera, Shama na Miza. Hawa ndio waliokuwa wajukuu wa Basemathi mkewe Esau.
14 And these weren the sones of Oolibama, douyter of Ana, sone of Sebeon, `wijf of Esau, whiche sche childide to hym; Hieus, and Hielon, and Chore.
Wana wa Oholibama binti Ana, mkewe Esau, aliyekuwa mjukuu wa Sibeoni, aliomzalia Esau ni: Yeushi, Yalamu na Kora.
15 These weren the dukis of the sones of Esau; the sones of Elifath first gendrid of Esau, duk Theman, duyk Omar,
Hawa ndio waliokuwa wakuu miongoni mwa wazao wa Esau: Wakuu wa wana wa Elifazi, mzaliwa wa kwanza wa Esau ni: Temani, Omari, Sefo, Kenazi,
16 duk Sephua, duyk Ceneth, duyk Chore, duyk Dathan, duyk Amalech. These weren the sones of Eliphat, in the lond of Edom, and these weren the sones of Ada.
Kora, Gatamu na Amaleki. Hawa ndio waliokuwa wakuu waliotoka kwa Elifazi huko Edomu, waliokuwa wajukuu wa kiume wa Ada.
17 Also these weren the sones of Rahuel, `sone of Esau, duyk Naath, duyk Zara, duyk Senna, duyk Meza; forsothe these duykis weren of Rahuel in the lond of Edom. These weren the sones of Bathsamath, `wijf of Esau.
Wakuu wa wana wa Reueli, mwana wa Esau ni: Nahathi, Zera, Shama na Miza. Hawa ndio wakuu waliotoka kwa Reueli huko Edomu, waliokuwa wajukuu wa kiume wa Basemathi mkewe Esau.
18 Forsothe these weren the sones of Oolibama, `wijf of Esau; duyk Hieus, duyk Hielon, duyk Chore; these weren duykis of Oolibama, douytir of Ana, `wijf of Esau.
Wakuu wa wana wa Esau ambao mkewe Oholibama alimzalia ni: Yeushi, Yalamu na Kora. Hawa ndio wakuu waliotoka kwa mke wa Esau, Oholibama binti Ana.
19 These weren the sones of Esau, and thei weren duykis of hem; he is Edom.
Hawa ndio waliokuwa wana wa Esau (ndiye Edomu), na hawa ndio waliokuwa wakuu wao.
20 These weren the sones of Seir Horrei, enhabiteris of the lond; Jothan, and Sobal, and Sebeon,
Hawa ndio walikuwa wana wa Seiri, Mhori, waliokuwa wakiishi katika nchi ile: Lotani, Shobali, Sibeoni, Ana,
21 and Anam, and Dison, and Eser, and Disan; these duikis weren of Horrey, sone of Seir, in the lond of Edom.
Dishoni, Eseri na Dishani. Hawa ndio wana wa Seiri huko Edomu waliokuwa wakuu kwa Wahori.
22 Forsothe the sones of Jothan weren maad, Horrey, and Theman; sotheli the sistir of Jothan was Tanna.
Wana wa Lotani walikuwa: Hori na Homamu. Timna alikuwa dada yake Lotani.
23 And these weren the sones of Sobal; Aluan, and Maneeth, and Ebal, Sephi, and Onam.
Wana wa Shobali walikuwa: Alvani, Manahathi, Ebali, Shefo na Onamu.
24 And these weren the sones of Sebeon; Achaia, and Ana; this is Ana that foonde hoote watris in wildirnesse, whanne he kepte the assis of Sebeon, his fadir;
Wana wa Sibeoni walikuwa: Aiya na Ana. Huyu Ana ndiye aligundua chemchemi ya maji moto jangwani alipokuwa akichunga punda za Sibeoni baba yake.
25 and he hadde a sone Disan, and a douytir Oolibama.
Watoto wa Ana walikuwa: Dishoni na Oholibama binti wa Ana.
26 And these weren the sones of Disan; Amadan, and Jesban, and Jethran, and Charan.
Wana wa Dishoni walikuwa: Hemdani, Eshbani, Ithrani na Kerani.
27 Also these weren the sones of Heser; Baalan, and Zeuan, and Acham.
Wana wa Eseri walikuwa: Bilhani, Zaavani na Akani.
28 And Disan hadde sones, Hus, and Haran.
Wana wa Dishani walikuwa: Usi na Arani.
29 These weren the duykis of Horreis; duyk Jothan, duyk Sobal, duyk Sebeon, duyk Ana, duyk Dison, duyk Heser, duik Disan;
Hawa ndio waliokuwa wakuu wa Wahori: Lotani, Shobali, Sibeoni, Ana,
30 these weren the duykis of Horreis, that weren lordis in the lond of Seir.
Dishoni, Eseri na Dishani. Hawa ndio walikuwa wakuu wa Wahori, kufuatana na makundi yao, katika nchi ya Seiri.
31 Forsothe kyngis that regneden in the lond of Edom, bifore that the sones of Israel hadden a kyng, weren these;
Wafuatao ni wafalme waliotawala Edomu kabla ya mfalme yeyote wa Israeli kutawala:
32 Balach, the sone of Beor, and the name of his citee was Deneba.
Bela mwana wa Beori alikuwa mfalme wa Edomu. Mji wake uliitwa Dinhaba.
33 Forsothe Balach diede, and Jobab, sone of Sara of Bosra, regnede for hym.
Bela alipofariki, Yobabu mwana wa Zera kutoka Bosra akawa mfalme baada yake.
34 And whanne Jobab was deed, Husam of the lond of Themayns regnede for hym.
Yobabu alipofariki, Hushamu kutoka nchi ya Watemani akawa mfalme baada yake.
35 And whanne he was deed, Adad, the sone of Badadi, that smoot Madian in the lond of Moab, and the name of his citee was Abyuth, `regnede for him.
Hushamu alipofariki, Hadadi mwana wa Bedadi, aliyeshinda Midiani katika nchi ya Moabu, akawa mfalme baada yake. Mji wake uliitwa Avithi.
36 And whanne Adad was deed, Semla of Maseracha regnede for hym.
Hadadi alipofariki, Samla kutoka Masreka akawa mfalme baada yake.
37 And whanne he was deed, Saul of the flood Robooth ragnede for hym.
Samla alipofariki, Shauli kutoka Rehobothi ngʼambo ya Mto Frati akawa mfalme baada yake.
38 And whanne he was deed, Balanam, the sone of Achobor, was successour in to the rewme.
Shauli alipofariki, Baal-Hanani mwana wa Akbori akawa mfalme baada yake.
39 And whanne this was deed, Adad regnede for hym, and the name of the citee of Adad was Phau, and the name of his wijf was clepid Meezabel, the douyter of Mathrect, douyter of Mesaab.
Baal-Hanani mwana wa Akbori alipofariki, Hadadi akawa mfalme baada yake. Mji wake uliitwa Pau, na mkewe aliitwa Mehetabeli binti Matredi, binti Me-Zahabu.
40 Therfor these weren the names of duykis of Esau, in her kynredis, and places, and names; duyk Thanna, duyk Alua,
Hawa ndio wakuu waliotokana na Esau, kwa majina, kufuatana na koo zao na nchi zao: Timna, Alva, Yethethi,
41 duyk Jetech, duyk Oolibama, duyk Ela,
Oholibama, Ela, Pinoni,
42 duyk Phinon, duyk Ceneth, duik Theman,
Kenazi, Temani, Mibsari,
43 duyk Mabsar, duyk Madiel, duyk Iram; these weren the duykis of Edom, dwelleris in the lond of hys lordschip; he was Esau, the fadir of Ydumeis.
Magdieli na Iramu. Hawa ndio walikuwa wakuu wa Edomu, kufuatana na makazi yao katika nchi waliyoimiliki. Huyu ndiye alikuwa Esau, baba wa Waedomu.
