Genesis 33
1 Forsothe Jacob reiside hise iyen, and seiy Esau comynge, and foure hundrid men with hym; and he departide the sones of Lia, and of Rachel, and of bothe seruauntessis.
याकूबले माथि हेर्दा एसाव आउँदै थिए, र तिनीसित चार सय मानिस थिए । तिनले आफ्ना छोराछोरीहरूलाई लेआ, राहेल र दुई जना कमारीको बिचमा विभाजन गरे ।
2 And he puttide euer either handmaide, and the fre children of hem, in the bigynnyng; sotheli he puttide Lia, and her sones, in the secounde place; forsothe he puttide Rachel and Joseph the laste.
तब तिनले कमारीहरू र तिनीहरूका छोराछोरीहरूलाई अग्रपङ्क्तिमा राखे; त्यसपछि लेआ र उनका छोराछोरीहरू अनि अन्त्यमा राहेल र योसेफलाई राखे ।
3 And Jacob yede bifore, and worschipide lowli to erthe seuensithis, til his brothir neiyede.
तिनी आफैचाहिँ तिनीहरूभन्दा अगिअगि गए । तिनी आफ्ना दाजुको नजिक नआउञ्जेलसम्म तिनले सात पटक भुइँमा शिर निहुर्याउँदै गए ।
4 And so Esau ran ayens his brothir, and collide hym, and Esau helde his necke, and kisside, and wepte.
एसाव याकूबलाई भेट्न दौडिए; अङ्गालो हाले; अङ्कमाल गरे र चुम्बन गरे । त्यसपछि तिनीहरू रोए ।
5 And whanne the iyen weren reisid, he seiy the wymmen, and the litle children of hem, and seide, What wolen these to hem silf? and wher thei pertenen to thee? Jacob answeride, Thei ben the litle children, whiche God hath youe to me, thi seruaunt.
एसावले हेर्दा तिनले स्त्रीहरू र केटाकेटीहरूलाई देखे । तिनले भने, “तिमीसँगै आएका यी मानिसहरू को हुन्?” याकूबले भने, “तपाईंका दासलाई परमेश्वरले अनुग्रहसाथ दिनुभएका छोराछोरीहरू हुन् ।”
6 And the handmaydis and her sones neiyeden, and weren bowid.
त्यसपछि आ-आफ्ना छोराछोरीहरू लिएर कमारीहरू आएर एसावलाई ढोग गरे ।
7 Also Lya neiyede with hir fre children; and whanne thei hadden worschipid in lijk maner, Joseph and Rachel the laste worschipeden.
अनि लेआ र उनका छोराछोरीहरू आएर ढोग गरे । अन्त्यमा योसेफ र राहेल आएर ढोग गरे ।
8 And Esau seide, What ben these cumpanyes, whiche Y mette? Jacob answerde, That Y schulde fynde grace bifore my lord.
एसावले भने, “मैले भेटेका यी सबै दलको अर्थ के हो?” याकूबले जवाफ दिए, “मेरा मालिकको दृष्टिमा निगाह प्राप्त गर्नलाई हो ।”
9 And he seide, My brother, Y haue ful many thingis, thi thingis be to thee.
एसावले भने, “मेरा भाइ, मसित प्रशस्त छ । तिम्रो जे हो, ती आफैसित राख ।”
10 And Jacob seide, Y biseche, nyle thou so, but if Y foond grace in thin iyen, take thou a litil yifte of myn hondis; for Y seiy so thi face as I seiy the cheer of God;
याकूबले भने, “त्यसो होइन । मैले तपाईंको दृष्टिमा निगाह पाएको छु भने मेरो हातबाट उपहार ग्रहण गर्नुहोस् । किनभने मैले तपाईंको मुहार देखेको छु, र यो परमेश्वरको मुहार देखेजस्तै भएको छ र तपाईंले मलाई ग्रहण गर्नुभएको छ ।
11 be thou merciful to me, and resseyue the blessyng which Y brouyte to thee, and which blessyng God yyuynge alle thingis yaf to me. Vnnethis, while the brothir compellide,
कृपया, तपाईंको लागि ल्याइएको यो उपहारलाई ग्रहण गर्नुहोस् किनभने परमेश्वरले मसित अनुग्रहसाथ व्यवहार गर्नुभएको छ, र मसित प्रशस्तै छ ।” यसरी याकूबले बिन्ती गरेपछि एसावले त्यसलाई स्वीकार गरे ।
12 he resseyuede, and seide, Go we to gidere, and Y schal be felowe of thi weie.
तब एसावले भने, “हामी आफ्नो बाटो लागौँ । म तिम्रो अगिअगि जानेछु ।”
13 And Jacob seide, My lord, thou knowist that Y haue litle children tendre, and scheep, and kien with calue with me, and if Y schal make hem for to trauele more in goynge, alle the flockis schulen die in o dai;
याकूबले तिनलाई भने, “मेरा मालिकलाई थाहै छ, कि यी केटाकेटीहरू सानै छन् र यी गाईबस्तुहरूले दुध चुसाउँदै छन् । तिनीहरूलाई एकै दिन मात्र बेसरी धपाइयो भने ती सबै मर्नेछन् ।
14 my lord go bifore his seruaunt, and Y schal sue litil and litil hise steppis, as I shal se that my litle children mown, til Y come to my lord, in to Seir.
यसैले मेरा मालिक आफ्ना दासभन्दा अगिअगि जानुहोस् भनी म बिन्ती गर्दछु । सेइरमा मेरा मालिककहाँ नआइपुगुञ्जेलसम्म म गाईबस्तुको चाल र केटाकेटीहरूको चालमा निकै बिस्तारै हिँड्नेछु ।
15 Esau answeride, Y preie thee, that of the puple which is with me, nameli felowis of thi weie dwelle. Jacob seide, It is no nede; Y haue nede to this o thing oneli, that Y fynde grace in thi siyt, my lord.
एसावले भने, “म तिमीसित भएका केही मानिसहरूसित मेरा केही मानिसहरू छाडिदिन्छु ।” तर याकूबले भने, “किन त्यसो गर्ने?” मेरा मालिकको दृष्टिमा मैले निगाह पाए त भइहाल्यो नि ।”
16 And so Esau turnede ayen in that dai in the weie bi which he cam, in to Seir.
त्यसैले त्यही दिन एसाव सेइरतर्फ फर्कन आफ्नो बाटो लागे ।
17 And Jacob cam in to Sochot, where whanne he hadde bildid an hows, and hadde set tentis, he clepide the name of that place Sochot, that is, tabernaclis.
याकूब सुक्कोततर्फ लागे । त्यहाँ तिनले डेरा हाले र आफ्ना गाईबस्तुहरूका निम्ति छाप्रा हाले । त्यसकारण त्यस ठाउँको नाउँ सुक्कोत राखियो ।
18 And Jacob passide in to Salem, a citee of Sichimis, whiche is in the lond of Canaan, aftir that he turnede ayen fro Mesopotanye of Sirie, and he dwellide besidis the citee.
याकूब पद्दन-आरामबाट आउँदा तिनी शकेमको सहरमा सुरक्षितसाथ आइपुगे जुन ठाउँ कनान देशमा पर्छ । तिनले सहरनजिकै पाल टाँगे ।
19 And he bouyte for an hundrid lambren a part of the feeld, in which he settide tabernaclis, of the sones of Emor, fadir of Sichem.
त्यसपछि तिनले एक सय चाँदीका सिक्कामा शकेमका पिता हमोरका छोराहरूबाट एउटा जग्गा किने र त्यहीँ नै आफ्नो पाल टाँगे ।
20 And whanne he hadde reisid an auter there, he inwardly clepide on it the strongeste God of Israel.
त्यहाँ तिनले एउटा वेदी बनाए र त्यसको नाउँ एल-एलोह-एस्राएल राखे ।
