Genesis 28
1 And so Isaac clepide Jacob, and blesside hym, and comaundide to hym, and seide, Nyle thou take a wijf of the kyn of Canaan; but go thou,
Isak frɛɛ Yakob, hyiraa no hyɛɛ no se, “Nware saa Kanaanfo mmea yi bi da.
2 and walke forth in to Mesopotanye of Sirie, to the hows of Batuel, fadir of thi modir, and take to thee of thennus a wijf of the douytris of Laban, thin vncle.
Ka wo ho kɔ Betuel a ɔyɛ wo na Rebeka agya no nkyɛn wɔ Paddan-Aram, na kɔware wo wɔfa Laban mmabea no mu baako.
3 Sotheli Almyyti God blesse thee, and make thee to encreesse, and multiplie thee, that thou be in to cumpanyes of puplis;
Otumfo Nyankopɔn no nhyira wo. Ɔmma wʼase nnɔ bebree, na wʼasefo no abɛyɛ ɔman kɛse a mmusuakuw bebree befi mu aba.
4 and God yyue to thee the blessyngis of Abraham, and to thi seed aftir thee, that thou welde the lond of thi pilgrymage, which he bihiyte to thi grauntsir.
Onyankopɔn mfa nhyira a ɔde hyiraa Abraham no nhyira wo ne wʼasefo. Ɔmma asase a nnɛ wote so sɛ ɔhɔho yi, a ɛyɛ asase a Onyankopɔn de maa Abraham no nyɛ wo dea.”
5 And whanne Ysaac hadde left hym, he yede forth, and cam in to Mesopotanye of Sirie, to Laban, the sone of Batuel of Sirie, the brother of Rebecca, his modir.
Sɛnea Isak gyaa ne ba Yakob kwan ni: Yakob kɔɔ Laban a ɔyɛ Aramni Betuel babarima nkyɛn wɔ Paddan-Aram. Na saa Laban yi yɛ Esau ne Yakob mama Rebeka ne nuabarima.
6 Forsothe Esau seiy that his fadir hadde blessid Jacob, and hadde sent him in to Mesopotanye of Sirie, that he schulde wedde a wijf of thennus, and that aftir the blessyng he comaundide to Jacob, and seide, Thou schalt not take a wijf of the douytris of Canaan;
Esau tee sɛ Isak ahyira Yakob, na wagya no kwan ma ɔkɔ Paddan-Aram sɛ ɔnkɔware wɔ hɔ. Ohyiraa no no, ɔhyɛɛ no se, “Nware saa Kanaanfo mmea yi bi da.”
7 and that Jacob obeiede to his fadir `and modir, and yede in to Sirie;
Yakob tiee nʼagya ne ne na afotu no sii mu kɔɔ Paddan-Aram.
8 also Esau preuyde that his fadir bihelde not gladli the douytris of Canaan.
Esau huu sɛ nʼagya Isak mpɛ Kanaanfo mmea asɛm.
9 And he yede to Ismael, and weddide a wijf, with out these whiche he hadde bifore, Melech, the douyter of Ismael, sone of Abraham, the sistir of Nabaioth.
Enti osii mu kɔɔ Abraham babarima Ismael nkyɛn, kɔwaree ne babea Mahalat. Na Mahalat yɛ Nebaiot nuabea, na ɔyɛ Ismael a ɔno nso yɛ Abraham babarima no babea. Esau waree Mahalat kaa ne yerenom ho.
10 Therfor Jacob yede out of Bersabee, and yede to Aran.
Yakob fii Beer-Seba de nʼani kyerɛɛ Haran.
11 And whanne he hadde come to sum place, and wolde reste ther inne aftir the goynge doun of the sunne, he took of the stoonus that laien ther, and he puttide vndur his heed, and slepte in the same place.
Oduu baabi na onwini redwo no, ɔpɛɛ baabi soɛe, efisɛ na ade resa. Ɔfaa ɔbo bi wɔ faako a wadu hɔ de yɛɛ sumii.
12 And he seiye in sleep a laddir stondynge on the erthe, and the cop ther of touchinge heuene; and he seiy Goddis aungels stiynge vp and goynge doun ther bi,
Ɔdae no, ɔsoo dae bi. Dae no mu no, ohuu sɛ antweri bi si fam a nʼatifi ka wim, na Onyankopɔn abɔfo redi so aforosian.
13 and the Lord fastned to the laddir, seiynge to hym, Y am the Lord God of Abraham, thi fadir, and God of Isaac; Y schal yyue to thee and to thi seed the lond in which thou slepist.
Ohuu sɛ Onyankopɔn gyina antweri no atifi. Onyankopɔn ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Mene Awurade, Abraham Nyankopɔn, ne wʼagya Isak Nyankopɔn. Mede asase a woda so yi bɛma wo ne wʼasefo.
14 And thi seed schal be as the dust of erthe, thou schalt be alargid to the eest, and west, and north, and south; and alle lynagis of erthe schulen be blessid in thee and in thi seed.
Wʼasefo bɛyɛ sɛ asase so mfutuma, na mobɛtrɛtrɛw akɔ apuei ne atɔe, atifi ne anafo nyinaa. Wo ne wʼasefo mu na wofi behyira wiase mmusuakuw nyinaa.
15 And Y schal be thi kepere, whidur euer thou schalt go; and Y schal lede thee ayen in to this lond, and Y schal not leeue no but Y schal fil alle thingis whiche Y seide.
Eyinom nyinaa akyi no, mɛka wo ho, na baabiara a wobɛkɔ no, medi wʼakyi, na mɛsan de wo aba saa asase yi so. Merennyaw wo da, kosi sɛ bɔ a mahyɛ wo yi nyinaa bɛba mu.”
16 And whanne Jacob hadde wakyd of sleep, he seide, Verili the Lord is in this place, and Y wiste not.
Yakob nyanee no, ɔkaa wɔ ne tirim se, “Ampa ara, sɛɛ na Awurade wɔ saa beae ha yi, a na minnim!”
17 And he seide dredynge, Hou worschipful is this place! Here is noon other thing no but the hows of God, and the yate of heuene.
Yakob suroe, na ɔkɔɔ so kaa wɔ ne tirim se, “Ɛha yɛ hu papa. Ɛha nyɛ baabiara sɛ Onyankopɔn fi. Ɔsoro pon ano ne ha.”
18 Therfor Jacob roos eerli, and took the stoon which he hadde put vndur his heed, and reiside in to a title, and helde oile aboue.
Enti Yakob sɔree anɔpatutuutu maa ɔbo a ɔde yɛɛ sumii no so sii hɔ, hwiee ngo guu so.
19 And he clepide the name of that citee Bethel, which was clepid Lusa bifore.
Ɔtoo beae no din Bet-El a ase kyerɛ Onyame fi. Kan no na anka wɔfrɛ saa kurow no Lus.
20 Also he auowide a vow, and seide, If God is with me, and kepith me in the weie in which Y go, and yyueth to me looues to ete, and clothis to be clothid,
Na Yakob kaa ntam se, “Sɛ Onyankopɔn bɛka me ho, ahwɛ me so wɔ saa akwantu yi mu, ama me aduan adi, ama me ntama afura,
21 and Y turne ayen in prosperite to the hows of my fadir, the Lord schal be in to God to me.
sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a mɛsan aba mʼagya fi asomdwoe mu a, ɛno de, Awurade bɛyɛ me Nyankopɔn.
22 And this stoon, which Y reiside in to a title, schal be clepid the hows of God, and Y schal offre tithis to thee of alle thingis whiche thou schalt yyue to me.
Saa ɔbo a mede asi hɔ sɛ nkaedum yi bɛyɛ Onyankopɔn fi. Biribiara a wo, Onyankopɔn, de bɛma me no, mede mu nkyɛmu du mu baako bɛma wo.”
