Genesis 22
1 And aftir that these thingis weren don, God assaiede Abraham, and seide to hym, Abraham! Abraham! He answerde, Y am present.
To gdy się stało, kusił Bóg Abrahama, i rzekł do niego: Abrahamie! A on odpowiedział: Owom ja.
2 God seide to him, Take thi `sone oon gendrid, whom thou louest, Ysaac; and go into the lond of visioun, and offre thou hym there in to brent sacrifice, on oon of the hillis whiche Y schal schewe to thee.
I rzekł Bóg: Weźmij teraz syna twego, jedynego twego, którego miłujesz, Izaaka, a idź do ziemi Moryja, i tam go ofiaruj na ofiarę paloną, na jednej górze, o którejć powiem.
3 Therfor Abraham roos bi niyt, and sadlide his asse, and ledde with hym twey yonge men, and Ysaac his sone; and whanne he hadde hewe trees in to brent sacrifice, he yede to the place which God hadde comaundid to him.
Tedy wstawszy Abraham bardzo rano, osiodłał osła swego, i wziął dwóch sług swoich z sobą, i Izaaka syna swego, a narąbawszy drew na ofiarę paloną, wstał i szedł na miejsce, o którem mu Bóg powiedział.
4 Forsothe in the thridde dai he reiside hise iyen, and seiy a place afer;
A dnia trzeciego, podniósłszy Abraham oczy swe, ujrzał ono miejsce z daleka.
5 and he seide to hise children, Abide ye here with the asse, Y and the child schulen go thidur; and aftir that we han worschipid, we schulen turne ayen to you.
I rzekł Abraham do sług swoich: Zostańcie wy tu z osłem, a ja z dziecięciem pójdziemy aż do onąd, a odprawiwszy modlitwy, wrócimy się do was.
6 And he took the trees of brent sacrifice, and puttide on Ysaac his sone; forsothe he bar fier, and a swerd in hise hondis. And whanne thei tweyne yeden togidere, Isaac seide to his fadir, My fadir!
Wziął tedy Abraham drwa na ofiarę paloną, i włożył je na Izaaka, syna swego, a sam wziął w rękę swoję ogień i miecz, i szli obaj pospołu.
7 And he answerde, What wolt thou, sone? He seide, Lo! fier and trees, where is the beeste of brent sacrifice?
I rzekł Izaak do Abrahama, ojca swego, mówiąc: Ojcze mój! A on odpowiedział: Owom ja, synu mój. I rzekł Izaak: Oto ogień i drwa, a gdzież baranek na ofiarę paloną?
8 Abraham seide, My sone, God schal puruey to hym the beeste of brent sacrifice.
Odpowiedział Abraham: Bóg sobie obmyśli baranka na ofiarę paloną, synu mój; i szli obaj pospołu.
9 Therfor thei yeden to gidere, and camen to the place whiche God hadde schewid to hym, in which place Abraham bildide an auter, and dresside trees a boue; and whanne he hadde bounde to gidere Ysaac, his sone, he puttide Ysaac in the auter, on the heep of trees.
A gdy przyszli na miejsce, o którem mu Bóg powiedział, zbudował tam Abraham ołtarz, i ułożył drwa, a związawszy Izaaka, syna swego, włożył go na ołtarz na drwa.
10 And he helde forth his hond, and took the swerd to sacrifice his sone.
I wyciągnął Abraham rękę swoję, i wziął miecz, aby zabił syna swego.
11 And lo! an aungel of the Lord criede fro heuene, and seide, Abraham! Abraham!
Lecz zawołał nań Anioł Pański z nieba, i rzekł: Abrahamie! Abrahamie! A on rzekł: Owom ja.
12 Which answerde, I am present. And the aungel seide to hym, Holde thou not forth thin honde on the child, nether do thou ony thing to him; now Y haue knowe that thou dredist God, and sparidist not thin oon gendrid sone for me.
I rzekł Anioł: Nie wyciągaj ręki twej na dziecię, i nie czyń mu nic; bom teraz doznał, iż się ty boisz Boga, i nie sfolgowałeś synowi twemu, jedynemu twemu, dla mnie.
13 Abraham reiside hise iyen, and he seiy `bihynde his bak a ram cleuynge bi hornes among breris, which he took, and offride brent sacrifice for the sone.
A podniósłszy Abraham oczy swe, ujrzał, a oto baran za nim uwiązł w cierniu za rogi swoje; a szedłszy Abraham, wziął barana i ofiarował go na ofiarę paloną, miasto syna swego.
14 And he clepide the name of that place, The Lord seeth; wherfore it is seyd, til to dai, The Lord schal see in the hil.
I nazwał Abraham imię miejsca onego: Pan obmyśli; stądże po dziś dzień mówią: Na górze Pańskiej będzie obmyślono.
15 Forsothe the aungel of the Lord clepide Abraham the secounde tyme fro heuene,
Tedy zawołał Anioł Pański na Abrahama po wtóre z nieba mówiąc:
16 and seide, The Lord seith, Y haue swore bi my silf, for thou hast do this thing, and hast not sparid thin oon gendrid for me,
Przez siebie samego przysiągłem, mówi Pan: Ponieważeś to uczynił, a nie sfolgowałeś synowi twemu, jedynemu twemu;
17 Y schal blesse thee, and Y schal multiplie thi seed as the sterris of heuene, and as grauel which is in the brynk of the see; thi seed schal gete the yatis of hise enemyes;
Błogosławiąc, błogosławić ci będę, a rozmnażając rozmnożę nasienie twoje, jako gwiazdy niebieskie, i jako piasek, który jest na brzegu morskim; a odziedziczy nasienie twoje bramy nieprzyjaciół twoich.
18 and alle the folkis of erthe schulen be blessid in thi seed, for thou obeiedist to my vois.
I błogosławione będą w nasieniu twojem wszystkie narody ziemi, dla tego, żeś usłuchał głosu mego.
19 Abraham turnede ayen to hise children, and thei yeden to Bersabee to gidere, and he dwellide there.
Wrócił się tedy Abraham do sług swych, i wstawszy, przyszli pospołu do Beerseba; bo mieszkał Abraham w Beerseba.
20 And so whanne these thingis weren don, it was teld to Abraham that also Melcha hadde bore sones to Nachor his brother;
I stało się potem, iż oznajmiono Abrahamowi, mówiąc: Oto narodziła i Melcha synów Nachorowi, bratu twemu.
21 Hus the firste gendrid, and Buz his brothir, and Chamuhel the fadir of Sireis,
Husa, pierworodnego swego, i Buza, brata jego, i Chemuela, ojca Aramczyków.
22 and Cased, and Asan, and Feldas,
I Kaseda, i Kasana, i Feldasa, i Jedlafa, i Batuela.
23 and Jedlaf, and Batuhel, of whom Rebecca was borun; Melcha childide these eiyte to Nachor brother of Abraham.
A Batuel spłodził Rebekę; ośmioro tych dzieci urodziła Melcha Nachorowi, bratu Abrahamowemu.
24 Forsothe his concubyn, Roma bi name, childide Thabee, and Gaon, and Thaas, and Maacha.
A założnica jego, której imię Reuma, urodziła też Tabę, i Gahama, i Tahasa, i Maacha.
