Genesis 22
1 And aftir that these thingis weren don, God assaiede Abraham, and seide to hym, Abraham! Abraham! He answerde, Y am present.
Když pakty věci pominuly, zkusil Bůh Abrahama, a řekl k němu: Abrahame! Kterýžto odpověděl: Teď jsem.
2 God seide to him, Take thi `sone oon gendrid, whom thou louest, Ysaac; and go into the lond of visioun, and offre thou hym there in to brent sacrifice, on oon of the hillis whiche Y schal schewe to thee.
I řekl: Vezmi nyní syna svého, toho jediného svého, kteréhož miluješ, Izáka, a jdi do země Moria; a obětuj ho tam v obět zápalnou na jedné hoře, o níž povím tobě.
3 Therfor Abraham roos bi niyt, and sadlide his asse, and ledde with hym twey yonge men, and Ysaac his sone; and whanne he hadde hewe trees in to brent sacrifice, he yede to the place which God hadde comaundid to him.
Tedy vstav Abraham velmi ráno, osedlal osla svého a vzal dva služebníky své s sebou, a Izáka syna svého; a nasekav dříví k oběti zápalné, vstal a bral se k místu, o němž pověděl mu Bůh.
4 Forsothe in the thridde dai he reiside hise iyen, and seiy a place afer;
Třetího pak dne pozdvihl Abraham očí svých, a uzřel to místo zdaleka.
5 and he seide to hise children, Abide ye here with the asse, Y and the child schulen go thidur; and aftir that we han worschipid, we schulen turne ayen to you.
A řekl Abraham služebníkům svým: Pozůstaňte vy tuto s oslem, já pak a dítě půjdeme tamto; a pomodlíce se, navrátíme se k vám.
6 And he took the trees of brent sacrifice, and puttide on Ysaac his sone; forsothe he bar fier, and a swerd in hise hondis. And whanne thei tweyne yeden togidere, Isaac seide to his fadir, My fadir!
Tedy vzal Abraham dříví k zápalné oběti, a vložil je na Izáka syna svého; sám pak nesl v ruce své oheň a meč. I šli oba spolu.
7 And he answerde, What wolt thou, sone? He seide, Lo! fier and trees, where is the beeste of brent sacrifice?
Mluvě pak Izák Abrahamovi otci svému, řekl: Otče můj! Kterýž odpověděl: Co chceš, synu můj? A řekl: Aj, teď oheň a dříví, a kdež hovádko k zápalné oběti?
8 Abraham seide, My sone, God schal puruey to hym the beeste of brent sacrifice.
Odpověděl Abraham: Bůh opatří sobě hovádko k oběti zápalné, synu můj. A šli předce oba spolu.
9 Therfor thei yeden to gidere, and camen to the place whiche God hadde schewid to hym, in which place Abraham bildide an auter, and dresside trees a boue; and whanne he hadde bounde to gidere Ysaac, his sone, he puttide Ysaac in the auter, on the heep of trees.
A když přišli k místu, o němž mu byl mluvil Bůh, udělal tu Abraham oltář, a srovnal dříví; a svázav syna svého, vložil ho na oltář na dříví.
10 And he helde forth his hond, and took the swerd to sacrifice his sone.
I vztáhl Abraham ruku svou, a vzal meč, aby zabil syna svého.
11 And lo! an aungel of the Lord criede fro heuene, and seide, Abraham! Abraham!
Tedy zavolal na něho anděl Hospodinův s nebe a řekl: Abrahame, Abrahame! Kterýžto odpověděl: Aj, já.
12 Which answerde, I am present. And the aungel seide to hym, Holde thou not forth thin honde on the child, nether do thou ony thing to him; now Y haue knowe that thou dredist God, and sparidist not thin oon gendrid sone for me.
I řekl jemu: Nevztahuj ruky své na dítě, aniž mu co čiň; neboť jsem již poznal, že se Boha bojíš, když jsi neodpustil synu svému, jedinému svému pro mne.
13 Abraham reiside hise iyen, and he seiy `bihynde his bak a ram cleuynge bi hornes among breris, which he took, and offride brent sacrifice for the sone.
A pozdvih Abraham očí svých, viděl, a hle, skopec za ním vězel v trní za rohy své. I šel Abraham a vzal skopce toho, a obětoval jej v obět zápalnou místo syna svého.
14 And he clepide the name of that place, The Lord seeth; wherfore it is seyd, til to dai, The Lord schal see in the hil.
A nazval Abraham jméno místa toho: Hospodin opatří. Odkudž říká se do dnes: Na hoře Hospodinově opatří se.
15 Forsothe the aungel of the Lord clepide Abraham the secounde tyme fro heuene,
Zvolal pak anděl Hospodinův na Abrahama podruhé s nebe,
16 and seide, The Lord seith, Y haue swore bi my silf, for thou hast do this thing, and hast not sparid thin oon gendrid for me,
A řekl: Skrze sebe samého přisáhl jsem, praví Hospodin, poněvadž jsi učinil tu věc, že jsi neodpustil synu svému, jedinému svému:
17 Y schal blesse thee, and Y schal multiplie thi seed as the sterris of heuene, and as grauel which is in the brynk of the see; thi seed schal gete the yatis of hise enemyes;
Požehnám velmi tobě, a velice rozmnožím símě tvé jako hvězdy nebeské, a jako písek, kterýž jest na břehu mořském; nadto dědičně vládnouti bude símě tvé branami nepřátel svých.
18 and alle the folkis of erthe schulen be blessid in thi seed, for thou obeiedist to my vois.
Ano požehnáni budou v semeni tvém všickni národové země, proto že jsi uposlechl hlasu mého.
19 Abraham turnede ayen to hise children, and thei yeden to Bersabee to gidere, and he dwellide there.
Tedy navrátil se Abraham k služebníkům svým; a vstavše, šli spolu do Bersabé; nebo bydlil Abraham v Bersabé.
20 And so whanne these thingis weren don, it was teld to Abraham that also Melcha hadde bore sones to Nachor his brother;
A když se tyto věci staly, zvěstováno jest Abrahamovi v tato slova: Aj, porodila také Melcha syny Náchorovi, bratru tvému:
21 Hus the firste gendrid, and Buz his brothir, and Chamuhel the fadir of Sireis,
Husa prvorozeného svého, a Buza bratra jeho, a Chamuele, otce Aramova;
22 and Cased, and Asan, and Feldas,
A Kazeda a Azana, a Feldasa, a Jidlafa i Bathuele.
23 and Jedlaf, and Batuhel, of whom Rebecca was borun; Melcha childide these eiyte to Nachor brother of Abraham.
Bathuel pak zplodil Rebeku. Osm těchto porodila Melcha Náchorovi, bratru Abrahamovu.
24 Forsothe his concubyn, Roma bi name, childide Thabee, and Gaon, and Thaas, and Maacha.
Ale i ženina jeho, jejíž jméno bylo Réma, porodila také ona Tábe a Gahama, Thása a Máchu.
