Genesis 13
1 Therfore Abram stiede fro Egipt, he, and his wijf, and alle thingis that he hadde; and Loth stiede with hym, to the south coost.
Abraam niitii isaatii fi waan qabu hunda wajjin Gibxii kaʼee Negeebitti ol baʼe; Looxis isa wajjin deeme.
2 Forsothe he was ful riche in possessyoun of siluer and of gold.
Abraamis horiin, meetii fi warqeedhaan akka malee soorome.
3 And he turnede ayen bi the weye in which he cam fro the south in to Bethel, `til to the place, in which bifore he hadde sett tabernacle, bitwixe Bethel and Hay,
Innis Negeebii kaʼee hamma Beetʼeel, iddoo Beetʼeelii fi Aayi gidduu, lafa dunkaanni isaa jalqabatti ture sana gaʼutti iddoo tokkoo gara iddoo biraatti deemsa isaa itti fufe;
4 in the place of the auter which he made bifore, and inwardli clepide there the name of the Lord.
iddoon sunis lafa inni yeroo jalqabaatiif iddoo aarsaa itti ijaaree dha. Abraamis achitti maqaa Waaqayyoo waammate.
5 But also flockis of scheep, and droues of oxun, and tabernaclis weren to Loth, that was with Abram;
Loox namichi Abraam wajjin deemaa ture suni akkasuma bushaayee, saawwanii fi dunkaanota qaba ture.
6 and the lond miyte not take hem, that thei schulden dwelle togidre, for the catel of hem was myche, and thei miyten not dwelle in comyn.
Yeroo isaan walii wajjin jiraatanitti lafti isaanitti dhiphatte; sababii qabeenyi isaanii akka malee guddateefis isaan wal bira jiraachuu hin dandeenye.
7 Wherfor also strijf was maad bitwixe the keperis of flockis of Abram and of Loth. Forsothe Chananei and Feresei dwelliden in that lond in that tyme.
Kanaafuu tiksoota Abraamii fi tiksoota Loox gidduutti lolli uumame. Yeroo sanatti Kanaʼaanonnii fi Feerzonnis biyya sana keessa jiraachaa turan.
8 Therfor Abram seide to Loth, Y biseche, that no strijf be bitwixe me and thee, and bitwixe my scheepherdis and thi scheepherdis; for we ben britheren.
Abraamis Looxiin akkana jedhe; “Nu waan obboloota taaneef, siʼii fi ana gidduu yookaan tiksoota keetii fi tiksoota koo gidduu lolli hin jiraatin.
9 Lo! al the lond is bifore thee, Y biseche, departe thou fro me; if thou go to the left side, Y schal holde the riyt side; if thou chese the riyt side, Y schal go to the left side.
Lafti hundi fuula kee dura jirti mitii? Kottu gargari godaannaa. Yoo ati gara bitaatti deemte, ani gara mirgaatti nan deema; yoo ati gara mirgaatti deemte immoo ani gara bitaatti nan deema.”
10 And so Loth reiside hise iyen, and seiy aboute al the cuntrei of Jordan, which was al moistid, bifor that the Lord distriede Sodom and Gomorre, as paradis of the Lord, and as Egipt, as men comen in to Segor.
Looxis ol jedhee ilaalee akka hurufni Yordaanos hundi akkuma iddoo biqiltuu Waaqayyoo akkuma biyya Gibxi kan karaa Zoʼaar irra jiru sanaa bishaan baayʼee qabu arge. Kunis utuu Waaqayyo Sodoomii fi Gomoraa hin balleessiniin dura ture.
11 And Loth chees to him the cuntre aboute Jordan, and departide fro the eest; and thei weren departid ech fro his brother.
Kanaafuu Loox hurufa Yordaanos guutummaatti ofii isaatii filatee gara baʼa biiftuutti godaane. Jarri lamaanis akkasitti gargari baʼan.
12 Abram dwellide in the lond of Chanaan; sotheli Loth dwellide in townes aboute Jordan, and wonide in Sodom.
Abraam biyya Kanaʼaan keessa jiraate; Loox immoo magaalaawwan dirree irra jiran gidduu jiraatee dunkaana isaa Sodoom bira dhaabbate.
13 Forsothe men of Sodom weren ful wickid, and synneris greetly bifore the Lord.
Warri Sodoom jalʼoota fuula Waaqayyoo duratti akka malee cubbuu hojjetan turan.
14 And the Lord seide to Abram, aftir that Loth was departid fro him, Reise thin iyen forth riyt, and se fro the place in which thou art now, to the north and south, to the eest and west;
Erga Loox isa biraa godaanee booddee Waaqayyo Abraamiin akkana jedhe; “Iddoo amma jirtu kanaa ija kee ol fudhadhuutii gara kaabaa fi kibbaa, gara baʼa biiftuutii fi lixa biiftuu ilaali.
15 Y schal yyue al the lond which thou seest to thee and to thi seed, til in to with outen ende.
Anis biyya ati argitu kana hunda bara baraan siʼii fi sanyii keetiif nan kenna.
16 And Y schal make thi seed as the dust of erthe; if ony man may noumbre the dust of erthe, also he schal mowe noumbre thi seed.
Ani sanyii kee akkuma biyyoo lafaa nan baayʼisa; yoo namni biyyoo lafaa lakkaaʼuu dandaʼe, sanyiin kee akkasuma lakkaaʼamuu dandaʼa.
17 Therfor rise thou, and passe thorou the lond in his lengthe and breede, for Y schal yyue it to thee.
Kaʼiitii dheerinaa fi balʼina lafa kanaa keessa dedeemi; ani isa siifin kennaatii.”
18 Therfor Abram, mouynge his tabernacle, cam and dwellide bisidis the valei of Mambre, which is in Ebron; and he bildide there an auter to the Lord.
Kanaafuu Abraam dunkaana isaa buqqifatee qilxuuwwan Mamree kanneen Kebroonitti argaman bira jiraachuu dhaqe; achittis iddoo aarsaa Waaqayyoof tolche.
