Galatians 6
1 Britheren, if a man be occupied in ony gilt, ye that ben spiritual, enforme ye such oon in spirit of softnesse, biholdinge thi silf, lest that thou be temptid.
Braćo, ako se tko i zatekne u kakvu prijestupu, vi, duhovni, takva ispravljajte u duhu blagosti. A pazi na samoga sebe da i ti ne podlegneš napasti.
2 Ech bere othere chargis, and so ye schulen fulfille the lawe of Crist.
Nosite jedni bremena drugih i tako ćete ispuniti zakon Kristov!
3 For who that trowith that he be ouyt, whanne he is nouyt, he bigilith him silf.
Jer misli li tko da jest štogod, a nije ništa, sam sebe vara.
4 But ech man preue his owne werk, and so he schal haue glorie in him silf, and not in an othere.
Svatko neka ispita sam svoje djelo pa će onda u samom sebi imati čime se dičiti, a ne u usporedbi s drugim.
5 For ech man schal bere his owne charge.
Ta svatko će nositi svoj teret.
6 He that is tauyt bi word, comune he with him that techith hym, in `alle goodis.
Koji se uči Riječi, neka sva dobra dijeli sa svojim učiteljem.
7 Nyle ye erre, God is not scorned; for tho thingis that a man sowith, tho thingis he schal repe.
Ne varajte se: Bog se ne da izrugivati! Što tko sije, to će i žeti!
8 For he that sowith in his fleisch, of the fleisch he schal repe corrupcioun; but he that sowith in the spirit, of the spirit he schal repe euerelastynge lijf. (aiōnios g166)
Doista, tko sije u tijelo svoje, iz tijela će žeti raspadljivost, a tko sije u duh, iz duha će žeti život vječni. (aiōnios g166)
9 And doynge good faile we not; for in his tyme we schal repe, not failinge.
Neka nam ne dozlogrdi činiti dobro: ako ne sustanemo, u svoje ćemo vrijeme žeti!
10 Therfor while we han tyme, worche we good to alle men; but most to hem that ben homliche of the feith.
Dakle, dok imamo vremena, činimo dobro svima, ponajpače domaćima u vjeri.
11 Se ye, what maner lettris Y haue write to you with myn owne hoond.
Gledajte kolikim vam slovima pišem svojom rukom.
12 For who euere wole plese in the fleisch, `this constreyneth you to be circumcidid, oonli that thei suffren not the persecucioun of Cristis crosse.
Svi koji se hoće praviti važni tijelom, sile vas na obrezanje, samo da zbog križa Kristova ne bi trpjeli progonstvo.
13 For nether thei that ben circumcidid kepen the lawe; but thei wolen that ye be circumcidid, that thei haue glorie in youre fleisch.
Ta ni sami obrezani ne opslužuju Zakona, ali hoće da se vi obrežete da bi se mogli ponositi vašim tijelom.
14 But fer be it fro me to haue glorie, no but in the crosse of oure Lord Jhesu Crist, bi whom the world is crucified to me, and Y to the world.
A ja, Bože sačuvaj da bih se ičim ponosio osim križem Gospodina našega Isusa Krista po kojem je meni svijet raspet i ja svijetu.
15 For in Jhesu Crist nether circumcisioun is ony thing worth, ne prepucie, but a newe creature.
Uistinu, niti je što obrezanje niti neobrezanje, nego - novo stvorenje.
16 And who euere suwen this reule, pees on hem, and merci, and on Israel of God.
A na sve koji se ovoga pravila budu držali, i na sveg Izraela Božjega - mir i milosrđe!
17 And heraftir no man be heuy to me; for Y bere in my bodi the tokenes of oure Lord Jhesu Crist.
Ubuduće neka mi nitko ne dodijava jer ja na svom tijelu nosim biljege Isusove!
18 The grace of oure Lord Jhesu Crist be with youre spirit, britheren. Amen.
Milost Gospodina našega Isusa Krista s duhom vašim, braćo! Amen
