< Galatians 3 >
1 Vnwitti Galathies, tofor whos iyen Jhesu Crist is exilid, and is crucified in you, who hath disseyued you, that ye obeyen not to treuthe?
ʻAe kau Kalētia vale, ko hai kuo ne fakamatavalea ʻakimoutolu, koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻa mou talangofua ki he moʻoni, ʻakimoutolu naʻe fakahā tautonu ʻi homou ʻao ʻa Sisu Kalaisi mo hono tutuki ki he ʻakau?
2 This oneli Y wilne to lerne of you, whether ye han vndurfonge the spirit of werkis of the lawe, or of heryng of bileue?
Ko e meʻa ni pe ʻoku ou fie ʻilo ʻiate kimoutolu, naʻa mou maʻu ʻae Laumālie ʻi he ngaahi ngāue ʻoe fono, pe ʻi he fanongo ʻi he tui?
3 So ye ben foolis, that whanne ye han bigunne in spirit, ye ben endid in fleisch.
ʻOku pehē koā hoʻomou vale? Kuo mou kamata ʻi he Laumālie, pea kuo fakahaohaoa eni ʻakimoutolu ʻe he kakano?
4 So grete thingis ye han suffrid without cause, if it be withoute cause.
Kuo mou kātaki taʻeʻaonga ʻae ngaahi meʻa lahi? ʻO kapau ʻoku kei taʻeʻaonga.
5 He that yyueth to you spirit, and worchith vertues in you, whether of werkis of the lawe, or of hering of bileue?
Ko ia ia kuo ne foaki kiate kimoutolu ʻae Laumālie, ʻo ne fai ʻae ngaahi meʻa mana kiate kimoutolu, [ʻoku ne fai ia ]ʻi he ngaahi ngāue ʻoe fono, pe ʻi he fanongo ʻi he tui?
6 As it is writun, Abraham bileuede to God, and it was rettid to hym to riytfulnesse.
ʻO hangē ko e tui ʻa ʻEpalahame, ki he ʻOtua, “Pea naʻe lau ia kiate ia ko e māʻoniʻoni.”
7 And therfor knowe ye, that these that ben of bileue, ben the sones of Abraham.
Ko ia ke mou ʻilo ko kinautolu ʻoku ʻi he tui, ko e fānau ʻakinautolu ʻa ʻEpalahame.
8 And the scripture seynge afer, that God iustifieth the hethene, of bileue told tofor to Abraham, That in thee alle the hethene schulen be blessid.
Pea ʻi he tomuʻa ʻilo ʻe he tohi, ʻe fakatonuhia ʻe he ʻOtua ʻae Senitaile ʻi he tui, naʻe malangaʻaki ʻae ongoongolelei ʻi muʻa kia ʻEpalahame, ʻo [ne pehē], “ʻE monūʻia ʻiate koe ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga kotoa pē.”
9 And therfor these that ben of bileue, schulen be blessid with feithful Abraham.
Ko ia ko kinautolu ʻoku ʻi he tui, ʻoku tāpuekina fakataha mo ʻEpalahame angatonu.
10 For alle that ben of the werkis of the lawe, ben vndur curse; for it is writun, Ech man is cursid, that abidith not in alle thingis that ben writun in the book of the lawe, to do tho thingis.
He ko kinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku ʻi he ngaahi ngāue ʻoe fono, ʻoku moʻulaloa ʻi he malaʻia: he kuo tohi, “ʻOku malaʻia kotoa pē ʻoku ʻikai tuʻumaʻu aipē ʻi he ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē kuo tohi ʻi he tohi ʻoe fono ke fai ia.”
11 And that no man is iustified in the lawe bifor God, it is opyn, for a riytful man lyueth of bileue.
Ka ʻoku ha māhina mai, ʻoku ʻikai ha taha ʻe fakatonuhia ʻe he fono ʻi he ʻao ʻoe ʻOtua: koeʻuhi, “ʻE moʻui ʻae tonuhia ʻi he tui.”
12 But the lawe is not of bileue, but he that doith tho thingis of the lawe, schal lyue in hem.
Pea ʻoku ʻikai mei he tui ʻae fono: ka, “Ko ia ia ʻoku ne fai ia ʻe moʻui ai.”
13 But Crist ayenbouyte us fro the curse of the lawe, and was maad acursid for vs; for it is writun, Ech man is cursid that hangith in the tre;
Naʻe huhuʻi ʻakitautolu ʻe Kalaisi mei he malaʻia ʻoe fono, ko ʻene hoko ko e malaʻia koeʻuhi ko kitautolu: he kuo tohi, “ʻOku malaʻia kotoa pē ʻoku tautau ki he ʻakau:”
14 that among the hethene the blessyng of Abraham were maad in `Crist Jhesu, that we vndurfonge the biheeste of spirit thoruy bileue.
Koeʻuhi ke hoko ʻae tāpuaki ʻa ʻEpalahame ki he kakai Senitaile foki ʻia Sisu Kalaisi; pea ke maʻu ʻekitautolu ʻae talaʻofa ki he Laumālie ʻi he tui.
15 Britheren, Y seie aftir man, no man dispisith the testament of a man that is confermed, or ordeyneth aboue.
16 The biheestis weren seid to Abraham and to his seed; he seith not, In seedis, as in many, but as in oon, And to thi seed, that is, Crist.
Ko eni, naʻe fai ʻae ngaahi talaʻofa kia ʻEpalahame mo hono hako. ʻOku ʻikai pehē ʻe ia, Pea ki he “ngaahi hako,” ʻo hangē ko e meʻa ʻi he tokolahi; kae hangē ko e meʻa ʻi he tokotaha pe, Pea ki ho “hako,” pea ko Kalaisi ia.
17 But Y seie, this testament is confermed of God; the lawe that was maad after foure hundrid and thritti yeer, makith not the testament veyn to auoide awei the biheest.
Pea ko ʻeku lea eni, ko e fuakava ʻia Kalaisi, naʻe fakamoʻoni ki ai ʻi muʻa ʻe he ʻOtua, ʻoku ʻikai faʻa fai ʻe he fono ke fakaʻikaiʻi ia, koeʻuhi ke ne fakataʻeaongaʻi ʻae talaʻofa, he naʻe ki mui ia ʻi he taʻu ʻe fāngeau ma tolungofulu.
18 For if eritage were of the lawe, it were not now of biheeste. But God grauntide to Abraham thoruy biheest.
He kapau ʻoku mei he fono ʻae tofiʻa, ʻoku ʻikai ai ʻi he talaʻofa: ka naʻe foaki ia ʻe he ʻOtua kia ʻEpalahame ʻi he talaʻofa.
19 What thanne the lawe? It was sett for trespassing, to the seed come, to whom he hadde maad his biheest. Whiche lawe was ordeyned bi aungels, in the hoond of a mediatour.
Pea tā koeʻumaʻā ʻae fono? Naʻe fakalahi ʻaki ia ko e meʻa ʻi he angahala, kaeʻoua ke hoko e talaʻofa; pea naʻe tauhi ia ʻe he kau ʻāngelo ki he nima ʻoe fakalaloa.
20 But a mediatour is not of oon. But God is oon.
Ko eni, ʻoku ʻikai ai ha fakalaloa, koeʻuhi ko e tokotaha pe, ka ʻoku taha pe ʻae ʻOtua.
21 Is thanne the lawe ayens the biheestis of God? God forbede. For if the lawe were youun, that myyte quikene, verili were riytfulnesse of lawe.
Pea ka ko ia, pea ʻoku kau kehe ʻae fono mo e ngaahi talaʻofa ʻae ʻOtua? ʻIkai ʻaupito: he ka ne fokotuʻu ha fono ʻe faʻa foaki ʻae moʻui, pehē ʻe hoko moʻoni ʻae fakatonuhia ʻi he fono ko ia.
22 But scripture hath concludid alle thingis vndir synne, that the biheeste of the feith of Jhesu Crist were yyuen to hem that bileuen.
Ka ʻoku fakahā ʻe he tohi kuo moʻulaloa kotoa pē ki he angahala, koeʻuhi ke foaki ai ʻae talaʻofa ʻi he tui, kia Sisu Kalaisi kiate kitautolu ʻoku tui.
23 And tofor that bileue cam, thei weren kept vndur the lawe, enclosid in to that bileue that was to be schewid.
Ka ʻi he teʻeki hoko mai ʻae tui, naʻe moʻua ʻakitautolu ʻo moʻulaloa ʻi he fono, ʻo moʻua ki he tui ʻaia ʻe toki fakahā ʻamui.
24 And so the lawe was oure vndirsmaister in Crist, that we ben iustified of bileue.
Pea ko ia ko hotau takiakiʻi ʻae fono kia Kalaisi, koeʻuhi ke fakatonuhia ʻakitautolu ʻe he tui.
25 But aftir that bileue cam, we ben not now vndur the vndurmaistir.
Kae hili ʻae hoko mai ʻoe tui, ʻoku ʻikai te tau kei moʻulaloa ki ha takiaki.
26 For alle ye ben the children of God thoruy the bileue of Jhesu Crist.
He ko e fānau ʻae ʻOtua ʻakimoutolu kotoa pē ʻi he tui kia Kalaisi Sisu.
27 For alle ye that ben baptisid, ben clothid with Crist.
He ko kimoutolu kotoa pē kuo papitaiso kia Kalaisi, kuo mou ʻai ʻa Kalaisi.
28 Ther is no Jewe, ne Greke, ne bond man, ne fre man, ne male, ne female; for alle ye ben oon in `Jhesu Crist.
29 And if ye ben oon in `Jhesu Crist, thanne ye ben the seed of Abraham, and eiris bi biheest.
Pea kapau ʻoku ʻa Kalaisi ʻakimoutolu, pea ta koe hako ʻo ʻEpalahame ʻakimoutolu, pea koe fānau hoko ʻo fakatatau mo e talaʻofa.
