Ezekiel 40
1 In the fyue and twentithe yeer of oure passyng ouer, in the bigynnyng of the yeer, in the tenthe dai of the monethe, in the fourtenthe yeer after that the citee was smytun, in this same dai the hond of the Lord was maad on me, and he brouyte me thidur in the reuelaciouns of God.
NELL'anno venticinquesimo della nostra cattività, nel principio dell'anno, nel decimo [giorno] del mese, nell'anno quartodecimo da che la città fu percossa; in quell'istesso giorno la mano del Signore fu sopra me, ed egli mi menò là.
2 And he brouyte me in to the lond of Israel, and he leet me doun on a ful hiy hil, on which was as the bildyng of a citee goynge to the south;
Egli mi menò nel paese d'Israele, in visioni di Dio; e mi posò sopra un monte altissimo, sopra il quale, dal Mezzodì, [vi era] come un edificio di città.
3 and he ledde me in thidur. And lo! a man, whos licnesse was as the licnesse of bras, and a coorde of flex was in his hond, and a reed of mesure in his hond; forsothe he stood in the yate.
E come egli mi ebbe menato là, ecco un uomo, il cui sembiante pareva di rame, ed avea in mano un fil di lino, ed una canna da misurare; ed egli stava in piè in su la porta.
4 And the same man spak to me, Thou sone of man, se with thin iyen, and here with thin eeris, and sette thin herte on alle thingis, whiche Y schal schewe to thee, for thou art brouyt hidur, that tho be schewid to thee; telle thou alle thingis whiche thou seest to the hous of Israel.
E quell'uomo parlò a me, [dicendo: ] Figliuol d'uomo, riguarda con gli occhi, ed ascolta con le orecchie, e pon mente a tutte le cose che io ti mostro; perciocchè tu sei stato menato qua, per fartele vedere; fa' assapere alla casa d'Israele tutte le cose che tu vedi.
5 And lo! a wal withouteforth, in the cumpas of the hous on ech side; and in the hond of the man was a rehed of mesure of sixe cubitis and a spanne, that is, an handibreede; and he mat the breede of the bildyng with o rehed, and the hiynesse bi o rehed.
Or ecco un muro di fuori della casa d'ogn'intorno. E quell'uomo, avendo in mano una canna da misurare, di sei cubiti e d'un palmo, misurò la larghezza di quell'edificio, [ed era] d'una canna; e l'altezza, [ed era parimente] di una canna.
6 And he cam to the yate that bihelde the weie of the eest, and he stiede bi degrees of it; and he mat the lyntil of the yate bi o rehed the breede, that is, o lyntil bi o rehed in breede;
Poi venne ad una porta che guardava verso il Levante, e salì per li gradi di essa, e misurò l'un degli stipiti della porta, [ed era] d'una canna di larghezza; poi l'altro, [ed era parimente] d'una canna di larghezza.
7 and he mat o chaumbre bi o rehed in lengthe, and bi o rehed in breed, and fyue cubitis bitwixe chaumbris;
[Poi misurò] le logge, [e ciascuna d'esse era] d'una canna di lunghezza, e d'una canna di larghezza; [e] fra l'una loggia e l'altra [vi era lo spazio] di cinque cubiti; poi [misurò] il limitar della porta d'appresso al portale della casa di dentro, [ed era] d'una canna.
8 and he mat the lyntil of the yate bisidis the porche of the yate with ynne, bi o rehed.
Poi egli misurò il portale della porta di dentro, [ed era] d'una canna.
9 And he mat the porch of the yate of eiyte cubitis, and the frount therof bi twei cubitis; sotheli the porche of the yate was with ynne.
Poi misurò [ancora] il portale della porta, [ed era] d'otto cubiti; e le sue fronti, [ed erano] di due cubiti; e l'antiporto della porta [era] indentro.
10 Certis the chaumbris of the yate at the weie of the eest weren thre on this side, and thre on that side; o mesure of thre, and o mesure of the frountis on euer ethir side.
E le logge della porta, verso il Levante, [erano] tre di qua, e tre di là; tutte e tre [erano] d'una medesima misura; parimente d'una stessa misura [erano] le fronti di qua, e di là.
11 And he mat the breede of the lyntel of the yate of ten cubitis, and the lengthe of the yate of threttene cubitis.
Poi egli misurò la larghezza del vano della porta, [ed era] di dieci cubiti; e la lunghezza della porta, [ed era] di tredici cubiti.
12 And he mat a margyn of a cubit bifor the chaumbris, and o cubit was the ende on ech side; forsothe the chaumbris weren of sixe cubitis on this side and on that side.
E [vi era] una chiusura davanti alle logge, d'un cubito; [e parimente una chiusura] d'un cubito dall'altro lato; ed ogni loggia avea sei cubiti di qua, e sei di là.
13 And he mat the yate fro the roof of the chaumbre til to the roof therof, the breede of fyue and twenti cubitis, a dore ayens a dore.
Poi egli misurò la porta, dal tetto d'una delle logge a quel dell'[altra opposta; e vi era] la larghezza di venticinque cubiti; gli usci [di quelle essendo] l'uno dirincontro all'altro.
14 And he made frountes bi sixti cubitis, and at the frount an halle of the yate on ech side bi cumpas;
Poi impiegò in pilastrate sessanta cubiti; e la porta d'ogn'intorno [era] al pari d'una delle pilastrate del cortile.
15 and bifor the face of the yate that stretchith forth til to the face of the porche of the ynner yate, he mat fifti cubitis.
E dalla facciata anteriore della porta fino alla facciata del portale della porta di dentro, [vi erano] cinquanta cubiti.
16 And he mat wyndows naraw with out and large with ynne, in the chaumbris and frountis of tho, that weren with ynne the yate on ech side bi cumpas. Sotheli in lijk maner also wyndows weren in the porchis bi cumpas with ynne; and the peynture of palm trees was grauun bifor the frountis.
E [vi erano] delle finestre fatte a cancelli nelle logge, e ne' loro archi di dentro della porta d'ogn'intorno; e così [era] in [tutti] i corridori [delle porte; vi erano] delle finestre indentro, d'ogn'intorno; e delle palme alle fronti.
17 And he ledde me out to the outermere halle, and lo! tresories, and pawment arayed with stoon in the halle bi cumpas; thretti tresories in the cumpas of the pawment;
Poi egli mi menò nel cortile di fuori; ed ecco delle camere, ed un lastrico lavorato d'ogn'intorno del cortile; di sopra a quel lastrico [vi erano] trenta camere.
18 and the pawment was bynethe in the front of the yatis, bi the lengthe of the yatis.
E quel lastrico, [ch'era] allato alle porte, al pari della lunghezza d'esse, [era] il suolo da basso.
19 And he mat the breede fro the face of the lowere yate til to the frount of the ynnere halle with outforth, an hundrid cubitis at the eest, and at the north.
Poi egli misurò uno spazio, dalla facciata della porta di sotto, fino alla facciata di fuori del cortile di dentro, di larghezza di cento cubiti, verso l'Oriente, e verso il Settentrione.
20 And he mat bothe in lengthe and in breede the yate that bihelde the weie of the north, of the outermore halle.
Egli misurò eziandio la porta del cortile di fuori, la quale riguardava verso il Settentrione per la sua lunghezza, e per la sua larghezza;
21 And he mat the chaumbris therof, thre on this side, and thre on that side, and the frount therof, and the porche therof, bi the mesure of the formere yate; the lengthe therof of fifti cubitis, and the breede therof of fyue and twenti cubitis.
e le sue logge, [ch'erano] tre di qua, e tre di là; [egli misurò] eziandio le sue fronti, e le sue pilastrate, [ed] esse erano della medesima misura [di quelle] della prima porta; [misurò eziandio] la lunghezza di questa [porta, ed era] di cinquanta cubiti; e la sua larghezza, [ed era] di venticinque cubiti.
22 Sotheli the wyndows therof, and the porche, and the grauyngis, weren bi the mesure of the yate that bihelde to the eest; and the stiyng therof was of seuene degrees, and a porche was bifore it.
[Misurò] eziandio le sue finestre, e i suoi archi, e le sue palme, [ed erano] secondo la misura della porta che riguardava verso il Levante, e si saliva ad essa per sette scaglioni; e gli archi di quella [porta erano] in faccia a quelli [scaglioni].
23 And the yate of the ynnere halle was ayens the yate of the north, and ayens the eest yate; and he mat fro the yate til to the yate an hundrid cubitis.
E la porta del cortile di dentro [era] dirincontro all'[altra] porta del Settentrione, come dal lato del Levante; ed egli misurò da porta a porta, e [vi erano] cento cubiti.
24 And he ledde me out to the weie of the south, and lo! the yate that bihelde to the south; and he mat the frount therof, and the porche therof, bi the formere mesuris;
Poi egli mi menò verso il Mezzodì; ed ecco una porta, che riguardava verso il Mezzodì; ed egli misurò le fronti, e le pilastrate di essa, [ed erano] secondo le misure [precedenti].
25 and the wyndows therof, and the porchis in cumpas, as othere wyndows; the lengthe of fifti cubitis, and the breede of fyue and twenti cubitis.
E [vi erano] delle finestre in essa, e ne' suoi archi d'ogni' intorno, simili a quelle finestre [precedenti]; la lunghezza [d'essa porta era] di cinquanta cubiti, e la larghezza di venticinque cubiti.
26 And bi seuene degrees me stiede to it, and `an halle was bifor the yatis therof; and palme trees weren grauun, oon in this side, and another in that side in the frount therof.
E i suoi gradi [erano] di sette scaglioni, e i suoi archi [erano] in faccia a quelli; ella avea eziandio delle palme alle sue fronti, una di qua, ed un'altra di là di ciascuna di esse.
27 And the yate of the ynnere halle was in the weie of the south; and he mat fro the yate til to the yate in the weie of the south, an hundrid cubitis.
[Vi era] eziandio una porta nel cortile di dentro, che riguardava verso il Mezzodì; ed egli misurò da porta a porta, dal lato del Mezzodì, [e vi erano] cento cubiti.
28 And he ledde me in to the ynnere halle, to the south yate; and he mat the yate bi the formere mesuris;
Poi egli mi menò al cortile di dentro per la porta meridionale; ed egli misurò la porta meridionale, [ed era] secondo le misure [precedenti].
29 the chaumbre therof, and the frount therof, and the porche therof bi the same mesuris; and he mat the wyndows therof, and the porche therof in cumpas; fifti cubitis of lengthe, and fyue and twenti cubitis of breede.
E le sue logge, e le sue fronti, e le sue pilastrate, [erano] secondo quelle misure [precedenti]; e [vi erano] in essa, e ne' suoi archi, delle finestre d'ogn'intorno; la lunghezza [d'essa porta era] di cinquanta cubiti, e la larghezza di venticinque cubiti.
30 And he mat the halle bi cumpas, the lengthe of fyue and twenti cubitis, and the breede therof of fyue cubitis.
E le pilastrate d'ogn'intorno [erano] di venticinque cubiti di lunghezza, e di cinque cubiti di larghezza.
31 And the porche therof was to the outermere halle, and the palm trees therof in the frount; and eiyte degrees weren, bi whiche me stiede thorouy it.
E i suoi archi [riguardavano] verso il cortile di fuori, e [vi erano] delle palme alle sue fronti; e i suoi gradi erano di otto scaglioni.
32 And he ledde me in to the ynnere halle, bi the eest weie; and he mat the yate by the formere mesures;
Poi egli mi menò nel cortile di dentro dal Levante, e misurò la [porta; ed essa era] secondo le misure [precedenti].
33 the chaumbre therof, and the frount therof, and the porchis therof, as aboue; and he mat the wyndows therof, and the porchis therof in cumpas; the lengthe of fifti cubitis, and the breede of fyue and twenti cubitis; and the porche therof,
E le sue logge, e le sue fronti, e le sue pilastrate, [erano] secondo quelle misure [precedenti]; e [vi erano] in essa e nelle sue pilastrate, d'ogn'intorno, delle finestre; la lunghezza [d'essa porta era] di cinquanta cubiti.
34 that is, of the outermore halle; and palme trees grauun in the frount therof, on this side and on that side; and in eiyte degrees was the stiyng therof.
E i suoi archi [riguardavano] verso il cortile di fuori, e [vi erano] delle palme alle sue fronti, di qua, e di là; e i suoi gradi erano di otto scaglioni.
35 And he ledde me in to the yate that bihelde to the north; and he mat bi the formere mesuris;
Poi egli mi menò alla porta settentrionale, e [la] misurò secondo quelle misure [precedenti];
36 the chaumbre therof, and the frount therof, and the porche therof, and the wyndows therof bi cumpas; the lengthe of fifti cubitis, and the breede of fyue and twenti cubitis.
[insieme] con le sue logge, e le sue fronti, e le sue pilastrate; e vi erano delle finestre d'ogn'intorno; la lunghezza [d'essa porta era] di cinquanta cubiti, e la larghezza di cinquanta cubiti.
37 The porche therof bihelde to the outermore halle; and the grauyng of palm trees was in the frount therof, on this side and on that side; and in eiyte degrees was the stiyng therof.
E le sue fronti [riguardavano] verso il cortile di fuori; e [vi erano] delle palme alle sue fronti di qua, e di là; e i suoi gradi [erano] di otto scaglioni.
38 And bi alle tresories a dore was in the frountis of yatis; and there thei waischiden brent sacrifice.
E fra le pilastrate di quelle porte [vi erano] delle logge, co' loro usci; quivi si lavavano gli olocausti.
39 And in the porche of the yate weren twei boordis on this side, and twei boordis on that side, that brent sacrifice be offrid on tho, `bothe for synne and for trespasse.
E presso al portale dell'una di quelle porte [vi erano] due tavole da un lato, e due dall'altro, da scannar sopra esse gli olocausti, e i sacrificii per lo peccato, e per la colpa.
40 And at the outermore side, which stieth to the dore of the yate that goith to the north, weren twei boordis; and at `the tother side, bifor the porche of the yate, weren twei boordis.
E parimente dall'uno de' lati, di fuori della soglia dell'entrata dell'[altra] porta, [cioè] della settentrionale, [vi erano] due tavole; e dall'altro lato del portale di essa porta, due [altre] tavole.
41 Foure boordis on this side, and foure boordis on that side; bi the sidis of the yate weren eiyte boordis, on whiche thei offriden.
[Così vi erano] quattro tavole di qua, e quattro di là, a' lati di [ciascuna] porta, [che erano in tutto] otto tavole, sopra le quali si scannavano [i sacrificii].
42 Forsothe foure boordis to brent sacrifice weren bildid of square stoonys, in the lengthe of o cubit and an half, and in the breed of o cubit and an half, and in the hiythe of o cubit; on whiche boordis thei schulen sette vessels, in whiche brent sacrifice and slayn sacrifice is offrid.
E le quattro tavole, [che erano] per gli olocausti, [erano] di pietra pulita; la lunghezza [di ciascuna era] d'un cubito e mezzo, e la larghezza d'un cubito e mezzo; e l'altezza d'un cubito; e sopra quelle si riponevano gli strumenti, co' quali si scannavano gli olocausti ed i sacrificii.
43 And the brenkis of tho boordis ben of oon handibreede, and ben bowid ayen with ynne bi cumpas; forsothe on the boordis weren fleischis of offryng.
Vi erano eziandio degli arpioni d'un palmo, messi per ordine d'ogn'intorno della casa; e sopra le tavola [si metteva] la carne delle offerte.
44 And with out the ynnere yate weren tresories of chauntours, in the ynnere halle, that was in the side of the yate biholdynge to the north; and the faces of tho weren ayens the south weie; oon of the side of the eest yate, that bihelde to the weie of the north.
E di fuori della porta di dentro [vi erano] le camere de' cantori, nel cortile di dentro, le quali [erano] allato alla porta settentrionale; e le lor facce [erano] verso il Mezzodì. [Ve n'era] una allato della porta orientale, traendo verso il Settentrione.
45 And he seide to me, This treserie, that biholdith the south weie, is of the prestis that waken in the kepyngis of the temple,
E quell'uomo mi parlò, [dicendo: ] Questa camera, che riguarda verso il Mezzodì, [è] per li sacerdoti che fanno l'ufficio della casa.
46 Sotheli the tresorye that biholdith to the weie of the north, schal be of the preestis that waken to the seruice of the auter; these ben the sones of Sadoch, whiche of the sones of Leuy neiyen to the Lord, for to mynystre to hym.
E quell'[altra] camera, che riguarda verso il Settentrione, [è] per li sacerdoti che fanno l'ufficio dell'altare. Essi [sono] i figliuoli di Sadoc, i quali, d'infra i figliuoli di Levi, si accostarono al Signore, per fare il suo servigio.
47 And he mat the halle, the lengthe of an hundrid cubitis, and the breede of an hundrid cubitis, bi square, and the auter bifore the face of the temple.
Poi misurò il cortile, [ed era] di cento cubiti di lunghezza, e di cento di larghezza, quadro; e l'altare [era] a diritto davanti alla casa.
48 And he ledde me in to the porche of the temple; and he mat the porche bi fyue cubitis on this side, and bi fyue cubitis on that side; and he mat the breede of the yate, of thre cubitis on this side, and of thre cubitis on that side.
Poi egli mi menò al portico della casa, e misurò gli stipiti del portico, [ed erano] di cinque cubiti di qua, e di cinque di là; poi la larghezza della porta, [ed era] di tre cubiti di qua, e di tre di là.
49 But he mat the lengthe of the porche of twenti cubitis, and the breede of eleuene cubitis, and bi eiyte degrees me stiede to it; and pileris weren in the frountis, oon on this side, and `another on that side.
La lunghezza del portico [era] di venti cubiti, e la larghezza di undici cubiti, oltre allo spazio de' gradi, per li quali si saliva ad esso; e le colonne [erano] presso degli stipiti, l'una di qua, l'altra di là.
