< Ezekiel 40 >
1 In the fyue and twentithe yeer of oure passyng ouer, in the bigynnyng of the yeer, in the tenthe dai of the monethe, in the fourtenthe yeer after that the citee was smytun, in this same dai the hond of the Lord was maad on me, and he brouyte me thidur in the reuelaciouns of God.
in/on/with twenty and five year to/for captivity our in/on/with head: first [the] year in/on/with ten to/for month in/on/with four ten year after which to smite [the] city in/on/with bone: same [the] day [the] this to be upon me hand: power LORD and to come (in): bring [obj] me there [to]
2 And he brouyte me in to the lond of Israel, and he leet me doun on a ful hiy hil, on which was as the bildyng of a citee goynge to the south;
in/on/with vision God to come (in): bring me to(wards) land: country/planet Israel and to rest me to(wards) mountain: mount high much and upon him like/as structure city from south
3 and he ledde me in thidur. And lo! a man, whos licnesse was as the licnesse of bras, and a coorde of flex was in his hond, and a reed of mesure in his hond; forsothe he stood in the yate.
and to come (in): bring [obj] me there [to] and behold man appearance his like/as appearance bronze and cord flax in/on/with hand his and branch: stem [the] measure and he/she/it to stand: stand in/on/with gate
4 And the same man spak to me, Thou sone of man, se with thin iyen, and here with thin eeris, and sette thin herte on alle thingis, whiche Y schal schewe to thee, for thou art brouyt hidur, that tho be schewid to thee; telle thou alle thingis whiche thou seest to the hous of Israel.
and to speak: speak to(wards) me [the] man son: child man to see: see in/on/with eye your and in/on/with ear your to hear: hear and to set: make heart your to/for all which I to see: see [obj] you for because to see: see you to come (in): bring here/thus to tell [obj] all which you(m. s.) to see: see to/for house: household Israel
5 And lo! a wal withouteforth, in the cumpas of the hous on ech side; and in the hond of the man was a rehed of mesure of sixe cubitis and a spanne, that is, an handibreede; and he mat the breede of the bildyng with o rehed, and the hiynesse bi o rehed.
and behold wall from outside to/for house: home around around and in/on/with hand [the] man branch: stem [the] measure six cubit in/on/with cubit and handbreadth and to measure [obj] width [the] building branch: stem one and height branch: stem one
6 And he cam to the yate that bihelde the weie of the eest, and he stiede bi degrees of it; and he mat the lyntil of the yate bi o rehed the breede, that is, o lyntil bi o rehed in breede;
and to come (in): come to(wards) gate which face: surface his way: direction [the] east [to] and to ascend: rise (in/on/with step his *Q(K)*) and to measure [obj] threshold [the] gate branch: stem one width and [obj] threshold one branch: measuring rod one width
7 and he mat o chaumbre bi o rehed in lengthe, and bi o rehed in breed, and fyue cubitis bitwixe chaumbris;
and [the] chamber branch: stem one length and branch: stem one width and between [the] chamber five cubit and threshold [the] gate from beside Portico [the] gate from [the] house: inside branch: stem one
8 and he mat the lyntil of the yate bisidis the porche of the yate with ynne, bi o rehed.
and to measure [obj] Portico [the] gate from [the] house: inside branch: stem one
9 And he mat the porch of the yate of eiyte cubitis, and the frount therof bi twei cubitis; sotheli the porche of the yate was with ynne.
and to measure [obj] Portico [the] gate eight cubit (and pillar his *Q(K)*) two cubit and Portico [the] gate from [the] house: inside
10 Certis the chaumbris of the yate at the weie of the eest weren thre on this side, and thre on that side; o mesure of thre, and o mesure of the frountis on euer ethir side.
and chamber [the] gate way: direction [the] east three from here and three from here measure one to/for three their and measure one to/for pillar from here and from here
11 And he mat the breede of the lyntel of the yate of ten cubitis, and the lengthe of the yate of threttene cubitis.
and to measure [obj] width entrance [the] gate ten cubit length [the] gate three ten cubit
12 And he mat a margyn of a cubit bifor the chaumbris, and o cubit was the ende on ech side; forsothe the chaumbris weren of sixe cubitis on this side and on that side.
and border: boundary to/for face: before [the] chamber cubit one and cubit one border: boundary from here and [the] chamber six cubit from here and six cubit from here
13 And he mat the yate fro the roof of the chaumbre til to the roof therof, the breede of fyue and twenti cubitis, a dore ayens a dore.
and to measure [obj] [the] gate from roof [the] chamber to/for roof his width twenty and five cubit entrance before entrance
14 And he made frountes bi sixti cubitis, and at the frount an halle of the yate on ech side bi cumpas;
and to make [obj] pillar sixty cubit and to(wards) pillar [the] court [the] gate around around
15 and bifor the face of the yate that stretchith forth til to the face of the porche of the ynner yate, he mat fifti cubitis.
and upon face: before [the] gate ([the] entrance *Q(K)*) upon to/for face: before Portico [the] gate [the] inner fifty cubit
16 And he mat wyndows naraw with out and large with ynne, in the chaumbris and frountis of tho, that weren with ynne the yate on ech side bi cumpas. Sotheli in lijk maner also wyndows weren in the porchis bi cumpas with ynne; and the peynture of palm trees was grauun bifor the frountis.
and window to shutter to(wards) [the] chamber and to(wards) pillar their to/for within to/for gate around around and so to/for arches and window around around to/for within and to(wards) pillar palm
17 And he ledde me out to the outermere halle, and lo! tresories, and pawment arayed with stoon in the halle bi cumpas; thretti tresories in the cumpas of the pawment;
and to come (in): bring me to(wards) [the] court [the] outer and behold chamber and pavement to make: [do] to/for court around around thirty chamber to(wards) [the] pavement
18 and the pawment was bynethe in the front of the yatis, bi the lengthe of the yatis.
and [the] pavement to(wards) shoulder [the] gate to/for close length [the] gate [the] pavement [the] lower
19 And he mat the breede fro the face of the lowere yate til to the frount of the ynnere halle with outforth, an hundrid cubitis at the eest, and at the north.
and to measure width from to/for face: before [the] gate [the] lower to/for face: before [the] court [the] inner from outside hundred cubit [the] east and [the] north
20 And he mat bothe in lengthe and in breede the yate that bihelde the weie of the north, of the outermore halle.
and [the] gate which face his way: direction [the] north to/for court [the] outer to measure length his and width his
21 And he mat the chaumbris therof, thre on this side, and thre on that side, and the frount therof, and the porche therof, bi the mesure of the formere yate; the lengthe therof of fifti cubitis, and the breede therof of fyue and twenti cubitis.
(and chamber his *Q(K)*) three from here and three from here (and pillar his and arches his *Q(K)*) to be like/as measure [the] gate [the] first fifty cubit length his and width five and twenty in/on/with cubit
22 Sotheli the wyndows therof, and the porche, and the grauyngis, weren bi the mesure of the yate that bihelde to the eest; and the stiyng therof was of seuene degrees, and a porche was bifore it.
(and window his and arches his and palm his *Q(K)*) like/as measure [the] gate which face his way: direction [the] east and in/on/with step seven to ascend: rise in/on/with him (and arches his *Q(K)*) to/for face: before their
23 And the yate of the ynnere halle was ayens the yate of the north, and ayens the eest yate; and he mat fro the yate til to the yate an hundrid cubitis.
and gate to/for court [the] inner before [the] gate to/for north and to/for east and to measure from gate to(wards) gate hundred cubit
24 And he ledde me out to the weie of the south, and lo! the yate that bihelde to the south; and he mat the frount therof, and the porche therof, bi the formere mesuris;
and to go: take me way: direction [the] south and behold gate way: direction [the] south and to measure (pillar his and arches his *Q(K)*) like/as measure [the] these
25 and the wyndows therof, and the porchis in cumpas, as othere wyndows; the lengthe of fifti cubitis, and the breede of fyue and twenti cubitis.
and window to/for him (and to/for arches his *Q(K)*) around around like/as [the] window [the] these fifty cubit length and width five and twenty cubit
26 And bi seuene degrees me stiede to it, and `an halle was bifor the yatis therof; and palme trees weren grauun, oon in this side, and another in that side in the frount therof.
and step seven (ascent his and arches his *Q(K)*) to/for face: before their and palm to/for him one from here and one from here to(wards) (pillar his *Q(K)*)
27 And the yate of the ynnere halle was in the weie of the south; and he mat fro the yate til to the yate in the weie of the south, an hundrid cubitis.
and gate to/for court [the] inner way: direction [the] south and to measure from gate to(wards) [the] gate way: direction [the] south hundred cubit
28 And he ledde me in to the ynnere halle, to the south yate; and he mat the yate bi the formere mesuris;
and to come (in): bring me to(wards) court [the] inner in/on/with gate [the] south and to measure [obj] [the] gate [the] south like/as measure [the] these
29 the chaumbre therof, and the frount therof, and the porche therof bi the same mesuris; and he mat the wyndows therof, and the porche therof in cumpas; fifti cubitis of lengthe, and fyue and twenti cubitis of breede.
(and chamber his and pillar his and arches his *Q(K)*) like/as measure [the] these and window to/for him (and to/for arches his *Q(K)*) around around fifty cubit length and width twenty and five cubit
30 And he mat the halle bi cumpas, the lengthe of fyue and twenti cubitis, and the breede therof of fyue cubitis.
and arches around around length five and twenty cubit and width five cubit
31 And the porche therof was to the outermere halle, and the palm trees therof in the frount; and eiyte degrees weren, bi whiche me stiede thorouy it.
(and arches his *Q(K)*) to(wards) court [the] outer and palm to(wards) (pillar his *Q(K)*) and step eight (ascent his *Q(K)*)
32 And he ledde me in to the ynnere halle, bi the eest weie; and he mat the yate by the formere mesures;
and to come (in): bring me to(wards) [the] court [the] inner way: direction [the] east and to measure [obj] [the] gate like/as measure [the] these
33 the chaumbre therof, and the frount therof, and the porchis therof, as aboue; and he mat the wyndows therof, and the porchis therof in cumpas; the lengthe of fifti cubitis, and the breede of fyue and twenti cubitis; and the porche therof,
(and chamber his and pillar his and arches his *Q(K)*) like/as measure [the] these and window to/for him (and to/for arches his *Q(K)*) around around length fifty cubit and width five and twenty cubit
34 that is, of the outermore halle; and palme trees grauun in the frount therof, on this side and on that side; and in eiyte degrees was the stiyng therof.
(and arches his *Q(K)*) to/for court [the] outer and palm to(wards) (pillar his *Q(K)*) from here and from here and eight step (ascent his *Q(K)*)
35 And he ledde me in to the yate that bihelde to the north; and he mat bi the formere mesuris;
and to come (in): bring me to(wards) gate [the] north and to measure like/as measure [the] these
36 the chaumbre therof, and the frount therof, and the porche therof, and the wyndows therof bi cumpas; the lengthe of fifti cubitis, and the breede of fyue and twenti cubitis.
(chamber his pillar his and arches his *Q(K)*) and window to/for him around around length fifty cubit and width five and twenty cubit
37 The porche therof bihelde to the outermore halle; and the grauyng of palm trees was in the frount therof, on this side and on that side; and in eiyte degrees was the stiyng therof.
(and pillar his *Q(K)*) to/for court [the] outer and palm to(wards) (pillar his *Q(K)*) from here and from here and eight step (ascent his *Q(K)*)
38 And bi alle tresories a dore was in the frountis of yatis; and there thei waischiden brent sacrifice.
and chamber and entrance her in/on/with pillar [the] gate there to wash [obj] [the] burnt offering
39 And in the porche of the yate weren twei boordis on this side, and twei boordis on that side, that brent sacrifice be offrid on tho, `bothe for synne and for trespasse.
and in/on/with Portico [the] gate two table from here and two table from here to/for to slaughter to(wards) them [the] burnt offering and [the] sin: sin offering and [the] guilt (offering)
40 And at the outermore side, which stieth to the dore of the yate that goith to the north, weren twei boordis; and at `the tother side, bifor the porche of the yate, weren twei boordis.
and to(wards) [the] shoulder from outside [to] to/for to ascend: rise to/for entrance [the] gate [the] north [to] two table and to(wards) [the] shoulder [the] another which to/for Portico [the] gate two table
41 Foure boordis on this side, and foure boordis on that side; bi the sidis of the yate weren eiyte boordis, on whiche thei offriden.
four table from here and four table from here to/for shoulder [the] gate eight table to(wards) them to slaughter
42 Forsothe foure boordis to brent sacrifice weren bildid of square stoonys, in the lengthe of o cubit and an half, and in the breed of o cubit and an half, and in the hiythe of o cubit; on whiche boordis thei schulen sette vessels, in whiche brent sacrifice and slayn sacrifice is offrid.
and four table to/for burnt offering stone cutting length cubit one and half and width cubit one and half and height cubit one to(wards) them and to rest [obj] [the] article/utensil which to slaughter [obj] [the] burnt offering in/on/with them and [the] sacrifice
43 And the brenkis of tho boordis ben of oon handibreede, and ben bowid ayen with ynne bi cumpas; forsothe on the boordis weren fleischis of offryng.
and [the] hook handbreadth one to establish: establish in/on/with house: inside around around and to(wards) [the] table flesh [the] offering
44 And with out the ynnere yate weren tresories of chauntours, in the ynnere halle, that was in the side of the yate biholdynge to the north; and the faces of tho weren ayens the south weie; oon of the side of the eest yate, that bihelde to the weie of the north.
and from outside [to] to/for gate [the] inner chamber to sing in/on/with court [the] inner which to(wards) shoulder gate [the] north and face: before their way: direction [the] south one to(wards) shoulder gate [the] east face: before way: direction [the] north
45 And he seide to me, This treserie, that biholdith the south weie, is of the prestis that waken in the kepyngis of the temple,
and to speak: speak to(wards) me this [the] chamber which face: before her way: direction [the] south to/for priest to keep: guard charge [the] house: home
46 Sotheli the tresorye that biholdith to the weie of the north, schal be of the preestis that waken to the seruice of the auter; these ben the sones of Sadoch, whiche of the sones of Leuy neiyen to the Lord, for to mynystre to hym.
and [the] chamber which face: before her way: direction [the] north to/for priest to keep: guard charge [the] altar they(masc.) son: child Zadok [the] approaching from son: child Levi to(wards) LORD to/for to minister him
47 And he mat the halle, the lengthe of an hundrid cubitis, and the breede of an hundrid cubitis, bi square, and the auter bifore the face of the temple.
and to measure [obj] [the] court length hundred cubit and width hundred cubit to square and [the] altar to/for face: before [the] house: home
48 And he ledde me in to the porche of the temple; and he mat the porche bi fyue cubitis on this side, and bi fyue cubitis on that side; and he mat the breede of the yate, of thre cubitis on this side, and of thre cubitis on that side.
and to come (in): bring me to(wards) Portico [the] house: home and to measure pillar Portico five cubit from here and five cubit from here and width [the] gate three cubit from here and three cubit from here
49 But he mat the lengthe of the porche of twenti cubitis, and the breede of eleuene cubitis, and bi eiyte degrees me stiede to it; and pileris weren in the frountis, oon on this side, and `another on that side.
