Ezekiel 39
1 But profesie thou, sone of man, ayens Gog; and thou schalt seie, The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y on thee, thou Gog, prince of the heed of Mosoch and of Tubal.
Et toi, fils de l'homme, prophétise maintenant contre Gog, et dis: Ainsi parle le Seigneur: Voilà que je suis contre toi, Gog, prince de Rhos, de Mésoch et de Thubal.
2 And Y schal lede thee aboute, and Y schal disseyue thee, and Y schal make thee to stie fro the sidis of the north, and Y schal brynge thee on the hillis of Israel.
Je réunirai tes troupes, et je te guiderai; je te ferai partir des régions les plus lointaines de l'aquilon, et je te conduirai sur les montagnes d'Israël.
3 And Y schal smyte thi bouwe in thi left hond, and Y schal caste doun thin arowis fro thi riyt hond.
Et alors je briserai ton arc dans ta main gauche, et tes flèches dans ta main droite, et je te renverserai
4 Thou schalt falle doun on the hillis of Israel, thou, and alle thi cumpenyes, and puplis that ben with thee; Y yaf thee for to be deuourid to wielde beestis, to briddis, and to ech volatil, and to the beestis of erthe.
Sur les montagnes d'Israël; et tu tomberas, toi et ceux qui t'appartiennent; et les nations qui t'accompagnent seront données à la multitude des oiseaux; et je t'ai donné toi-même à tous les oiseaux et à toutes les bêtes fauves des champs pour qu'ils te dévorent.
5 Thou schalt falle doun on the face of the feeld; for Y the Lord haue spoke, seith the Lord God.
Tu tomberas sur la face de la terre; car moi j'ai parlé, dit le Seigneur.
6 And Y schal sende fier in Magog, and in hem that dwellen tristili in ilis; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord God of Israel.
Puis je lancerai la flamme sur Gog et sur les îles qui demeuraient en paix, et elles sauront que je suis le Seigneur.
7 And Y schal make myn hooli name knowun in the myddis of my puple Israel, and Y schal no more defoule myn hooli name; and hethene men schulen wite, that Y am the Lord God, the hooli of Israel.
Et mon saint nom sera connu au milieu de mon peuple d'Israël, et ils ne profaneront plus mon saint nom, et les nations sauront que je suis le Seigneur saint en Israël.
8 Lo! it cometh, and it is don, seith the Lord God.
Voilà que le jour est venu, et l'on saura qu'il est venu, dit le Seigneur; le voilà le jour dont j'avais parlé.
9 This is the day of which Y spak. And dwelleris schulen go out of the citees of Israel, and thei schulen set a fier, and schulen brenne armuris, scheeld and spere, bouwe and arowis, and stauys of hond, and schaftis with out irun; and thei schulen brenne tho in fier bi seuene yeer.
Les habitants des villes en sortiront, et ils se chaufferont en brillant les armes, les boucliers, les épieux, les arcs, les flèches, les bâtons et les javelines; et ils en allumeront leur feu pendant sept ans.
10 And thei schulen not bere trees of cuntries, nether schulen kitte doun of forestis, for thei schulen brenne armuris bi fier; and thei schulen take preies of hem, to whiche thei weren preies, and thei schulen rauysche her wasteris, seith the Lord God.
Et ils ne prendront plus de bois dans les champs, et ils n'abattront plus d'arbres dans les forêts; mais ils feront du feu avec les armes, et ils pilleront ceux qui les ont pillés, et ils dépouilleront ceux qui les ont dépouillés, dit le Seigneur.
11 And it schal be in that dai, Y schal yyue to Gog a named place, a sepulcre in Israel, the valei of weigoeris at the eest of the see, that schal make hem that passen forth for to wondre; and thei schulen birie there Gog, and al the multitude of hym, and it schal be clepid the valei of the multitude of Gog.
Et ceci adviendra: en ce jour-là je donnerai à Gog une place de renom, un sépulcre en Israël; ce sera le cimetière des voyageurs du côté de la mer, et l'on entourera de murs l'entrée de la vallée. Là on enterrera Gog et toute sa multitude, et ou l'appellera le cimetière de Gog.
12 And the hous of Israel schulen birie hem, that thei clense the lond in seuene monethis.
Et la maison d'Israël les y enterrera, afin qu'en sept mois la terre soit purifiée;
13 Forsothe al the puple of the lond schal byrie hym, and it schal be a named dai to hem, in which Y am glorified, seith the Lord God.
Et tout le peuple de la terre les y enterrera; et ce sera pour eux une place de renom, le jour où Israël sera glorifié, dit le Seigneur.
14 And thei schulen ordeyne bisili men cumpassynge the lond, that schulen birie and seke hem that weren left on the face of the lond, that thei clense it. Forsothe aftir seuene monethis thei schulen bigynne to seke,
Et ils ne cesseront pas d'envoyer des hommes qui parcourront la contrée pour ensevelir ceux qui seraient restés sur la face de la terre, et la purifier en sept mois; et ces hommes chercheront avec soin.
15 and thei schulen cumpas goynge aboute the lond; and whanne thei schulen se the boon of a man, thei schulen sette a `notable signe bisidis it, til the birieris of careyns birie it in the valei of the multitude of Gog.
Et chacun de ceux qui parcourront la terre, à la vue d'un ossement humain, placera auprès une marque, afin que les fossoyeurs l'enterrent dans la vallée, au cimetière de Gog.
16 Sotheli the name of the cite is Amona; and thei schulen clense the lond.
Car le nom de la vallée sera Cimetière; et la terre sera purifiée.
17 Forsothe, thou, sone of man, the Lord God seith these thingis, Seie thou to ech brid, and to alle foulis, and to alle beestis of the feeld, Come ye to gidere, and haste ye, renne ye togidere on ech side to my sacrifice, which Y sle to you, a greet sacrifice on the hillis of Israel, that ye ete fleischis and drynke blood.
Et toi, fils de l'homme, dis: Ainsi parle le Seigneur: Dis à tout oiseau du ciel et à toute bête des champs: Rassemblez-vous, et partez; réunissez-vous de tous les alentours pour mon sacrifice, que je vous ai préparé, grand sacrifice sur les montagnes d'Israël; et mangez-en les chairs, et buvez-en le sang.
18 Ye schulen ete the fleischis of stronge men, and ye schulen drynke the blood of prynces of erthe, of wetheris, of lambren, and of buckis of geet, and of bolis, and of beestis maad fat, and of alle fat thingis.
Mangez les chairs des géants; buvez le sang des princes de la terre; mangez des béliers, des bœufs, des boucs et des bœufs, tous bien engraissés.
19 And ye schulen ete the ynnere fatnesse in to fulnesse, and ye schulen drynke the blood in to drunkenesse, of the sacrifice which Y schal sle to you.
Mangez de la chair à satiété; buvez du sang jusqu'à l'ivresse; c'est la chair et le sang de mon sacrifice, que je vous ai préparé.
20 And ye schulen be fillid on my boord, of hors, and of strong horse man, and of alle men werriours, seith the Lord God.
Et vous serez rassasiés à ma table de la chair du cavalier et du cheval, du géant et de tout guerrier, dit le Seigneur.
21 And Y schal sette my glorie among hethene men, and alle hethene men schulen se my doom, which Y haue do, and myn hond, which Y haue set on hem.
Et je mettrai en vous ma gloire, et toutes les nations verront mon jugement que j'aurai exécuté, et ma main que j'aurai portée sur eux.
22 And the hous of Israel schulen wite, that Y am her Lord God, fro that dai and afterward.
Et la maison d'Israël saura de ce jour-là et pour tous les temps que je suis le Seigneur leur Dieu.
23 And hethen men schulen wite, that the hous of Israel is takun in her wickidnesse, for that that thei forsoken me; and Y hidde my face fro hem, and Y bitook hem into the hondis of enemyes, and alle thei fellen doun bi swerd.
Et les nations sauront que la maison d'Israël a été captive à cause de ses péchés, et qu'en punition de ce qu'elle m'a répudié, j'ai détourné d'elle mon visage; que je l'ai livrée à ses ennemis, et qu'elle est tombée sous le glaive.
24 Bi the unclennes and greet trespasse of hem Y dide to hem, and Y hidde my face fro hem.
Je les ai traités selon leurs impuretés et leurs égarements, et j'ai détourné d'eux mon visage.
25 Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Now Y schal leede ayen the caitiftee of Jacob, and Y schal haue merci on al the hous of Israel; and Y schal take feruoure for myn hooli name.
C'est pourquoi voici ce que dit le Seigneur Maître: Maintenant je ramènerai les captifs en Jacob, et je ferai miséricorde à la maison d'Israël, et je serai jaloux pour l'amour de mon saint nom.
26 And thei schulen bere here schenschipe, and al the trespassing bi which thei trespassiden ayens me, whanne thei dwelliden in her lond tristili, and dredden no man;
Et ils subiront leur déshonneur et l'iniquité qu'ils ont commise quand ils habitèrent leur terre en paix; et nul ne les épouvantera,
27 and whanne Y schal bringe hem ayen fro puplis, and schal gadere fro the londis of her enemyes, and schal be halewid in hem, bifor the iyen of ful many folkis.
Lorsque je les aurai retirés d'entre les nations et réunis de toutes les contrées des gentils; et en présence des nations je serai sanctifié parmi eux.
28 And thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord God of hem, for that Y translatide hem in to naciouns, and haue gaderid hem on her lond, and Y lefte not ony of hem there.
Et ils sauront que je suis le Seigneur leur Dieu, quand je me serai manifesté à eux en présence des nations.
29 And Y schal no more hide my face fro hem, for Y haue schede out my spirit on al the hous of Israel, seith the Lord God.
Et je ne détournerai plus d'eux mon visage, parce que j'aurai assouvi ma colère contre la maison d'Israël, dit le Seigneur Maître.
