Ezekiel 29
1 In the tenthe yeer, in the tweluethe monethe, in the firste dai of the monethe, the word of the Lord was maad to me, and he seide,
Pada tanggal dua belas bulan sepuluh, dalam tahun kesepuluh masa pembuangan kami, TUHAN berkata kepadaku,
2 Thou, sone of man, sette thi face ayens Farao, king of Egipt; and thou schalt profesie of hym, and of al Egipt.
"Hai manusia fana, kecamlah raja Mesir. Katakanlah kepadanya bahwa dia dan seluruh rakyat Mesir akan dihukum."
3 Speke thou, and thou schalt seie, The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y to thee, thou Farao, kyng of Egipt, thou grete dragoun, that liggist in the myddis of thi floodis, and seist, The flood is myn, and Y made mysilf.
TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi menyuruh aku menyampaikan kepada raja Mesir pesan ini, "Aku ini musuhmu, hai buaya raksasa yang berbaring di tengah sungai. Engkau membual bahwa Sungai Nil adalah milikmu dan bahwa engkaulah yang membuatnya.
4 And Y schal sette a bridil in thi chekis, and Y schal glue the fischis of thi floodis to thi scalis; and Y schal drawe thee out of the myddis of thi floodis, and alle thi fischis schulen cleue to thi scalis.
Aku akan memasang kaitan pada rahangmu dan melekatkan ikan-ikan pada sisikmu. Lalu engkau Kutarik keluar dari Sungai Nil dengan segala ikan yang melekat pada sisikmu itu.
5 And Y schal caste thee forth in to desert, and alle the fischis of thi flood; on the face of erthe thou schalt falle doun, thou schalt not be gaderid, nethir schalt be gaderid togidere; to the beestis of erthe, and to the volatilis of the eir Y yaf thee to be deuourid.
Kemudian engkau dan segala ikan itu Kulemparkan ke padang pasir. Tubuhmu akan terhempas ke tanah dan terkapar di situ. Tak seorang pun akan mengubur engkau. Tubuhmu akan Kuberikan kepada burung-burung dan binatang-binatang lain untuk dimakan.
6 And alle the dwelleris of Egipt schulen knowe, that Y am the Lord. For that that thou were a staf of rehed to the hous of Israel, whanne thei token thee with hond,
Maka tahulah seluruh rakyat Mesir bahwa Akulah TUHAN." TUHAN berkata, "Hai bangsa Mesir! Orang Israel mengharapkan bantuanmu, tetapi ternyata engkau hanya seperti tongkat yang lemah saja.
7 and thou were brokun, and to-rentist ech schuldre of hem, and whanne thei restiden on thee, thou were maad lesse, and thou hast discoumfortid alle the reynes of hem;
Ketika mereka bersandar padamu, engkau patah dan menusuk ketiak mereka, sehingga punggung mereka terkilir.
8 therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal bringe a swerd on thee, and Y schal sle of thee man and beeste;
Oleh sebab itu Aku, TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi, mengatakan kepadamu, bahwa Aku akan mengirim tentara yang akan menyerang engkau dengan pedang, dan membunuh penduduk serta ternakmu.
9 and the lond of Egipt schal be in to desert, and in to wildirnesse, and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord. For that that thou seidist, The flood is myn, and Y made it, therfor lo!
Mesir akan menjadi tanah yang sunyi sepi. Maka tahulah kamu bahwa Akulah TUHAN." TUHAN berkata, "Hai raja Mesir! Karena engkau mengatakan bahwa Sungai Nil adalah milikmu dan bahwa engkaulah yang membuatnya,
10 Y to thee, and to thi floodis. And Y schal yyue `in to wildirnesses the lond of Egipt distried bi swerd, fro the tour of Sienes til to the termes of Ethiopie.
maka Aku menjadi musuhmu, dan musuh Sungai Nilmu. Seluruh Mesir akan Kujadikan tanah yang sunyi sepi mulai dari kota Migdol di utara sampai ke kota Aswan di selatan, hingga perbatasan Sudan.
11 The foot of man schal not passe bi it, nether the foot of beeste schal go in it, and it schal not be enhabitid in fourti yeer.
Tak ada manusia atau binatang yang akan melaluinya. Selama empat puluh tahun tak akan ada orang yang mendiaminya.
12 And Y schal yyue the lond of Egipt forsakun, in the myddis of londis forsakun, and the citees therof in the myddis of a citee distried, and tho schulen be desolat bi fourti yeer. And Y schal scatere Egipcians in to naciouns, and Y schal wyndewe hem in to londis.
Aku akan membuat Mesir sunyi sepi sehingga di antara negeri-negeri sepi lainnya, Mesirlah yang paling sepi. Selama empat puluh tahun kota-kota di Mesir akan merupakan puing-puing yang jauh lebih parah daripada puing-puing kota mana pun juga. Bangsa Mesir akan Kujadikan pengungsi-pengungsi. Mereka akan tersebar ke segala negeri dan tinggal di tengah-tengah bangsa lain."
13 For the Lord God seith these thingis, After the ende of fourti yeer Y schal gadere togidere Egipt fro puplis, among whiche thei weren scaterid;
TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi berkata, "Hai bangsa Mesir, sehabis empat puluh tahun itu, kamu akan Kubawa kembali dari negeri-negeri di tempat kamu telah tersebar.
14 and Y schal bringe ayen the caitifte of Egipte. And Y schal sette hem in the lond of Phatures, in the lond of her birthe; and thei schulen be there in to a meke rewme,
Kamu akan Kupulihkan dan Kusuruh tinggal di Mesir bagian selatan, tanah asalmu. Di sana kamu akan membentuk kerajaan yang lemah,
15 and among othere rewmes it schal be most low, and it schal no more be reisid ouer naciouns. And Y schal make hem lesse, that thei regne not on hethene men;
yang paling lemah di seluruh dunia. Aku akan membuat kamu sangat lemah sehingga kamu tak akan dapat memerintah bangsa-bangsa lain ataupun menyombongkan diri terhadap mereka.
16 and thei schulen no more be to the hous of Israel in trist, techinge wickidnesse, that thei fle, and sue hem; and thei schulen knowe, that Y am the Lord God.
Israel tidak lagi akan meminta bantuan kepadamu. Nasibmu hai bangsa Mesir akan mengingatkan Israel betapa kelirunya mengandalkan Mesir, seperti yang pernah dilakukannya. Maka tahulah Israel bahwa Akulah TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi."
17 And it was don in the seuene and twentithe yeer, in the firste monethe, in the firste dai of the monethe, the word of the Lord was maad to me,
Pada tanggal satu bulan satu dalam tahun kedua puluh tujuh masa pembuangan kami, TUHAN berkata kepadaku,
18 and he seide, Thou, sone of man, Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, made his oost to serue bi greet seruyce ayens Tire; ech heed was maad ballid, and ech schuldir was maad bare of heer, and meede was not yoldun of Tire to hym, nether to his oost, for the seruyce bi which he seruede to me ayens it.
"Hai manusia fana, Raja Nebukadnezar dari Babel melancarkan serangan terhadap Tirus. Ia menyuruh prajurit-prajurit memikul beban-beban yang begitu berat, sehingga kepala mereka menjadi botak dan bahu mereka lecet, tetapi baik raja maupun tentaranya tidak mendapat hasil apa pun dengan jerih payah itu.
19 Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal yyue Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, in the lond of Egipt, and he schal take the multitude therof; and he schal take in preye the clothis therof, and he schal rauysche the spuylis therof, and meede schal be to his oost,
Sebab itu, Aku TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi berkata: Tanah Mesir akan Kuberikan kepada Raja Nebukadnezar. Ia akan merampok dan merampas serta mengangkut semua kekayaan Mesir sebagai upah bagi tentaranya.
20 and to the werk for which he seruyde to me ayens it; and Y yaf the lond of Egipt to hym, for that that he trauelide to me, seith the Lord God.
Tanah Mesir Kuberikan kepadanya sebagai imbalan jasa-jasanya, sebab tentaranya telah bekerja untuk-Ku. Aku, TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi telah berbicara.
21 In that dai an horn of the hous of Israel schal come forth, and Y schal yyue to thee an open mouth in the myddis of hem; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
Bilamana hal itu terjadi, Aku akan menjadikan Israel bangsa yang kuat, dan memungkinkan engkau Yehezkiel, berbicara dengan bebas sehingga semua orang dapat mendengar engkau. Maka tahulah mereka bahwa Akulah TUHAN."
