Ezekiel 26
1 And it was doon in the enleuenthe yeer, in the firste dai of the monethe, the word of the Lord was maad to me, and he seide,
Im elften Jahr, am ersten Tage des Monats, erging das Wort des HERRN also an mich:
2 Thou, sone of man, for that that Tire seide of Jerusalem, Wel! the yatis of puplis ben brokun, it is turned to me; Y schal be fillid, it is forsakun;
Menschensohn, weil Tyrus über Jerusalem ausgerufen hat: «Ha! ha! sie ist zerbrochen, die Türe der Völker; sie öffnet sich mir! Nun werde ich vollauf haben, da sie verlassen ist!»
3 therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Tire, Y on thee; and Y schal make many folkis to stie to thee, as the see flowynge stieth.
darum spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Siehe, ich will an dich, Tyrus, und will viele Völker gegen dich heraufführen, wie wenn das Meer seine Wellen heraufrollt!
4 And thei schulen distrie the wallis of Tire, and thei schulen distrie the touris therof; and Y schal rase the dust therof fro it, and Y schal yyue it in to a `moost clere stoon.
Sie werden die Mauern von Tyrus zerstören und ihre Türme niederreißen; und ich will ihren Staub wegfegen und sie zu einem kahlen Felsen machen;
5 Driyng of nettis schal be in the myddis of the see, for Y spak, seith the Lord God. And Tire schal be in to rauysching to hethene men.
zu einem Wehr, wo man die Fischgarne ausspannt, soll sie werden inmitten des Meeres. Ich habe es gesagt, spricht Gott, der HERR, sie soll den Völkern zur Beute werden.
6 And the douytris therof that ben in the feeld, schulen be slayn bi swerd; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
Und ihre Töchter auf dem Lande sollen durchs Schwert umkommen und also erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin!
7 For whi the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal brynge to Tire Nabugodonosor, the king of Babiloyne, fro the north, the kyng of kyngis, with horsis, and charis, and knyytis, and with a cumpeny, and greet puple.
Denn also spricht Gott, der HERR: Siehe, ich bringe Nebukadnezar, den König von Babel, der ein König aller Könige ist, von Mitternacht her über Tyrus, mit Rossen, Wagen und Reitern und mit einem großen Haufen Volks.
8 He schal sle bi swerd thi douytris that ben in the feeld, and he schal cumpasse thee with strengthingis, and he schal bere togidere erthe in cumpas. And he schal reise a scheeld ayens thee,
Er wird deine Töchter auf dem Felde mit dem Schwerte umbringen; wider dich wird er ein Bollwerk machen und einen Wall gegen dich aufwerfen und den Schild wider dich aufstellen.
9 and he schal tempre engynes lijc vineres, and engines `that ben clepid wetheris ayens thi wallis; and he schal distrie thi touris bi his armure.
Er wird auch seine Sturmböcke wider deine Mauern richten und deine Türme mit seinen Brecheisen zertrümmern.
10 Bi flowynge of his horsis, the dust of tho schal hile thee; thi wallis schulen be mouyd of the soun of knyytis, and of wheelis, and of charis; whanne he schal entre bi the yatis, as bi entryngis of a citee distried,
Der Staub von der Menge seiner Pferde wird dich bedecken; deine Mauern werden erbeben vor dem Getümmel der Reiter, Räder und Wagen, wenn der Feind zu deinem Tor einzieht, wie man in eine eroberte Stadt einzuziehen pflegt.
11 with the clees of hise horsis he schal defoule alle thi stretis. He shal sle bi swerd thi puple, and thi noble ymagis schulen falle doun in to erthe.
Er wird mit den Hufen seiner Pferde alle deine Gassen zertreten; er wird dein Volk mit dem Schwerte töten, und die Säulen deiner Stärke werden zu Boden sinken.
12 Thei schulen waste thi richessis, thei schulen rauysche thi marchaundies; and thei schulen distrie thi wallis, and thei schulen distrie thin housis ful clere, and thi stoonys, and thi trees, and thei schulen putte thi dust in the myddis of watris.
Und sie werden deinen Reichtum rauben und deine Handelsgüter plündern; sie werden deine Mauern niederreißen und deine Lusthäuser zerstören; sie werden deine Steine, dein Holz und deinen Staub ins Wasser werfen.
13 And Y schal make to reste the multitude of thi syngeris, and the sown of thin harpis schal no more be herd;
Also will ich deinem lauten Gesang ein Ende machen, und dein Saitenspiel soll hinfort nicht mehr gehört werden.
14 and Y schal yyue thee in to a moost cleer stoon. Thou schalt be driyng of nettis, and thou schalt no more be bildid, for Y the Lord spak, seith the Lord God.
Ich will einen kahlen Felsen aus dir machen; du sollst ein Wehr werden, darauf man die Fischergarne ausspannt, und du sollst nicht wieder aufgebaut werden. Denn ich, der HERR, habe es gesagt.
15 The Lord God seith these thingis of Tire, Whether ilis schulen not be moued of the sown of thi fal, and of weiling of thi slayn men, whanne thei ben slayn in the myddis of thee?
Gott, der HERR, hat über Tyrus also gesprochen: Werden nicht von dem Getöse deines Falls, von dem Seufzen der Erschlagenen, von dem Morden des Schwertes in deiner Mitte die Inseln erbeben?
16 And alle the princis of the see schulen go doun of her seetis, and thei schulen do awei her mentils, ether spuylis of slayn enemyes, and thei schulen caste awei her dyuerse clothis, and shulen be clothid with wondring. Thei shulen sitte in the erthe, and thei shulen be astonyed, and thei shulen wondre of thi sodeyn fal.
Und alle Fürsten am Meere werden von ihren Thronen herabsteigen; sie werden ihre Mäntel ablegen und ihre gestickten Kleider ausziehen; in Zittern werden sie sich kleiden, auf dem Boden sitzen; sie werden jeden Augenblick erzittern und sich über dich entsetzen.
17 And thei shulen take weilyng on thee, and schule seie to thee, Hou perischidist thou, noble citee, that dwellist in the see, that were strong in the see with thi dwelleris, whiche dwelleris alle men dredden?
Und sie werden ein Klagelied über dich anstimmen und zu dir sagen: Ach, wie bist du zugrunde gegangen, vom Meere verschwunden, du berühmte Stadt, welche mächtig war auf dem Meer, sie und ihre Einwohner, welche allen ihren Anwohnern Schrecken einflößte!
18 Now schippis schulen wondre in the dai of thi drede, and ilis in the see schulen be disturblid, for noon goith out of thee.
Jetzt werden die Inseln zittern, da du gefallen bist, ja, die Inseln im Meere sind bestürzt wegen deines Untergangs!
19 For the Lord God seith these thingis, Whanne Y schal yyue thee a citee desolat, as the citees that ben not enhabitid, and Y schal bringe on thee the depthe of watris, and many watris schulen hile thee.
Denn also spricht Gott, der HERR: Wenn ich dich zur verwüsteten Stadt mache, gleich den unbewohnten Städten, wenn ich die Flut gegen dich aufsteigen lasse und die großen Wasser dich bedecken,
20 And Y schal drawe thee doun with hem that goon doun in to a lake, to the puple euerlastynge; and Y schal sette thee in the laste lond, as elde wildirnessis, with hem that ben led doun in to a lake, that thou be not enhabited. Certis whanne Y schal yyue glorye in the lond of lyueris,
dann lasse ich dich hinabfahren mit denen, welche zum Grabe hinabfahren, zu dem Volke der Vorzeit, daß du in der Unterwelt wohnen sollst, in den uralten Ruinen, mit denen, welche in die Grube hinabgefahren sind, damit du unbewohnt bleibest, so schenke ich Herrlichkeit im Lande der Lebendigen;
21 Y schal dryue thee in to nouyt, and thou schalt not be; and thou schalt be souyt, and thou schalt no more be foundun with outen ende, seith the Lord God.
zum Schrecken will ich dich machen, und du sollst nicht mehr sein! Man wird dich suchen, aber du sollst ewiglich nicht mehr gefunden werden, spricht Gott, der HERR!
