Ezekiel 25
1 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
Cuvântul DOMNULUI a venit din nou la mine, spunând:
2 and he seide, Thou, sone of man, sette thi face ayens the sones of Amon, and thou schalt profesie of hem.
Fiu al omului, îndreaptă-ți fața împotriva amoniților și profețește împotriva lor;
3 And thou schalt seie to the sones of Amon, Here ye the word of the Lord God; the Lord God seith these thingis, For that that ye seiden, Wel! wel! on my seyntuarie, for it is defoulid, and on the lond of Israel, for it is maad desolat, and on the hous of Juda, for thei ben led in to to caitifte; lo!
Și spune amoniților: Ascultați cuvântul Domnului DUMNEZEU: Astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Pentru că ai spus: Aha, împotriva sanctuarului meu, când acesta a fost spurcat; și împotriva țării lui Israel, când a fost pustiită; și împotriva casei lui Iuda, când au mers în captivitate;
4 therfor Y schal yyue thee the sones of the eest in to eritage, and thei schulen sette her foldis in thee, and thei shulen sette her tentis in thee; thei schulen ete thi fruytis, and thei schulen drynke thi mylk.
Iată, de aceea te voi da în stăpânirea oamenilor din est și ei își vor pune palatele lor în tine și își vor face locuințele în tine; vor mânca rodul tău și vor bea laptele tău.
5 And Y schal yyue Rabath in to a dwellyng place of camels, and the sones of Amon in to a bed of beestis; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
Și voi face Raba un grajd pentru cămile și pe amoniți o stână pentru turme; și veți cunoaște că eu [sunt] DOMNUL.
6 For the Lord God seith these thingis, For that that thou flappidist with hond, and smytidist with the foot, and ioyedist of al desijr on the lond of Israel;
Fiindcă astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Pentru că ai bătut din palme și ai tropăit din picioare și te-ai bucurat în inimă cu tot disprețul împotriva țării lui Israel;
7 therfor lo! Y schal stretche forth myn hond on thee, and Y schal yyue thee in to rauyschyng of hethene men, and Y schal sle thee fro puplis, and Y schal leese thee, and al to-breke thee fro londis; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
Iată, de aceea îmi voi întinde mâna asupra ta și te voi da ca pradă păgânilor; și te voi stârpi dintre popoare și te voi face să pieri dintre țări; te voi nimici; și vei cunoaște că eu [sunt] DOMNUL.
8 The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that Moab and Seir seiden, Lo! the hous of Juda is as alle folkis; therfor lo!
Astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Pentru că Moabul și Seirul spun: Iată, casa lui Iuda [este] ca a tuturor păgânilor;
9 Y schal opene the schuldre of Moab of citees, sotheli of citees therof and of the endis therof, the noble citees of the lond, Bethiesmoth, and Beelmoth,
De aceea, iată, voi deschide latura Moabului dinspre cetăți, dinspre cetățile lui [care sunt] la granițele lui, gloria țării: Bet-Ieșimot, Baal-Meon și Chiriataim,
10 and Cariathaym, to the sones of the eest, with the sones of Amon. And Y schal yyue it in to eritage, that mynde of the sones of Amon be no more among hethene men,
Pentru oamenii din est, cu amoniții și le-[o] voi da lor în stăpânire, ca amoniții să nu mai fie amintiți printre națiuni.
11 and in Moab Y schal make domes; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
Și voi face judecăți asupra Moabului; și ei vor cunoaște că eu [sunt] DOMNUL.
12 The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that Ydumee dide veniaunce, that it avengide it silf of the sones of Juda, and synnede doynge trespas, and axide greetli veniaunce of hem;
Astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Pentru că Edomul s-a purtat împotriva casei lui Iuda răzbunându-se și a ofensat foarte mult și s-a răzbunat asupra lor;
13 therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Y schal stretche forth myn hond on Idumee, and Y schal take awei fro it man and beeste, and Y schal make it desert of the south; and thei that ben in Dedan schulen falle bi swerd.
De aceea astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Îmi voi întinde de asemenea mâna asupra Edomului și voi stârpi pe om și pe animal din el; și îl voi face pustiu de la Teman; și cei din Dedan vor cădea prin sabie.
14 And Y schal yyue my veniaunce on Idumee, bi the hond of my puple Israel; and thei schulen do in Edom bi my wraththe, and bi my strong veniaunce; and thei schulen knowe my veniaunce, seith the Lord God.
Și voi împlini răzbunarea mea asupra Edomului prin mâna poporului meu Israel; și ei vor face în Edom conform cu mânia mea și conform cu furia mea; și vor cunoaște răzbunarea mea, spune Domnul DUMNEZEU.
15 The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that Palestyns diden veniaunce, and auengiden hem silf, with al wille sleynge, and fillynge elde enemytees;
Astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Pentru că filistenii s-au purtat cu răzbunare și s-au răzbunat cu o inimă disprețuitoare, pentru a [o] nimici din [cauza] urii vechi;
16 therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal stretche forth myn hond on Palestyns, and Y schal sle sleeris, and Y schal leese the remenauntis of the se coost;
De aceea astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Iată, îmi voi întinde mâna asupra filistenilor și voi stârpi pe cheretiți și voi nimici rămășița de pe coasta mării.
17 and Y schal make grete veniaunces in hem, and Y schal repreue in strong veniaunce; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal yyue my veniaunce on hem.
Și voi aduce mare răzbunare asupra lor cu mustrări furioase; și vor cunoaște că eu [sunt] DOMNUL, când voi împlini răzbunarea mea asupra lor.
