< Ezekiel 2 >

1 And he seide to me, Thou, sone of man, stonde on thi feet, and Y schal speke with thee.
Pea naʻa ne pehē mai kiate au, “Foha ʻoe tangata, tuʻu hake ki ho vaʻe pea te u lea kiate koe.”
2 And the spirit entride in to me, after that he spak to me, and settide me on my feet. And Y herde oon spekynge to me,
Pea ʻi heʻene folofola mai, naʻe hoko mai ʻae laumālie kiate au, ʻo ne fokotuʻu au ki hoku vaʻe, pea u fanongo kiate ia naʻe lea kiate au.
3 and seiynge, Sone of man, Y sende thee to the sones of Israel, to folkis apostatas, `ether goynge a bak fro feith, that yeden awei fro me; the fadris of hem braken my couenaunt til to this dai.
Pea naʻa ne pehē kiate au, “Foha ʻoe tangata, ʻoku ou fekau atu koe ki he fonua ʻo ʻIsileli, ki he puleʻanga angatuʻu, kuo angatuʻu kiate au: kuo fai angahala kiate au ʻakinautolu mo ʻenau ngaahi tamai, ʻio, ʻo aʻu ki he ʻaho ni.
4 And the sones ben of hard face, and of vnchastisable herte, to whiche Y sende thee. And thou schalt seie to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis;
He ko e fānau mata fielahi mo loto fefeka ʻakinautolu. Ko au ia ʻoku ou fekau atu koe kiate kinautolu; pea te ke pehē kiate kinautolu, ʻOku pehē ʻa Sihova ko e ʻOtua.
5 if perauenture nameli thei heren, and if perauenture thei resten, for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe. And thei schulen wite, that a profete is in the myddis of hem.
Pea neongo ʻenau loto ke fanongo, pe ko ʻenau taʻeloto ki ai, (he ko e fale angatuʻu ʻakinautolu, ) ka te nau ʻilo naʻe ai ha palōfita ʻiate kinautolu.
6 Therfore thou, sone of man, drede not hem, nether drede thou the wordis of hem; for vnbileueful men and distrieris ben with thee, and thou dwellist with scorpiouns. Drede thou not the wordis of hem, and drede thou not the faces of hem, for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe.
“Pea ko koe, ʻe foha ʻoe tangata, ʻoua naʻa ke manavahē kiate kinautolu pea ʻoua naʻa ke manavahē ki heʻenau lea, neongo hoʻo ʻi he ʻakau talatala mo e talatalaʻāmoa, pea ke nofo hifo ʻi he lotolotonga ʻoe ngaahi sikopio: ʻoua naʻa ke manavahē ki heʻenau lea, pea ʻoua naʻa ke lilika ʻi heʻenau sio: ka ko e moʻoni ko e fale angatuʻu ʻakinautolu.
7 Therfor thou schalt speke my wordis to hem, if perauenture thei heren, and resten, for thei ben terreris to wraththe.
Pea te ke lea ʻaki ʻe koe ʻa ʻeku ngaahi lea kiate kinautolu, pe te nau loto ke fanongo ki ai, pe te nau taʻeloto ki ai he ʻoku lahi ʻaupito ʻenau angatuʻu.
8 But thou, sone of man, here what euer thingis Y schal speke to thee; and nyle thou be a terrere to wraththe, as the hows of Israel is a terrere to wraththe. Opene thi mouth, and ete what euer thingis Y yyue to thee.
Ka ko koe, ʻe foha ʻoe tangata, fanongo ki he meʻa ʻoku ou lea ʻaki kiate koe: ʻoua naʻa ke angatuʻu koe ʻo hangē ko e fale angatuʻu na: fakamanga ho ngutu pea ke kai ʻaia te u foaki kiate koe.”
9 And Y siy, and lo! an hond was sent to me, in which a book was foldid togidere.
Pea ʻi heʻeku sio, vakai, naʻe fakahā mai kiate au ʻae nima; pea vakai naʻe ʻi ai ʻae takainga tohi;
10 And he spredde abrood it bifor me, that was writun with ynne and with outforth. And lamentaciouns, and song, and wo, weren writun ther ynne.
Pea ne folofolahi ia ʻi hoku ʻao; pea naʻe tohi ia ʻi loto pea ʻituʻa: pea naʻe tohi ʻi ai ʻae tangi, mo e mamahi, pea mo e malaʻia.
