Ezekiel 2

1 And he seide to me, Thou, sone of man, stonde on thi feet, and Y schal speke with thee.

१उसने मुझसे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, अपने पाँवों के बल खड़ा हो, और मैं तुझ से बातें करूँगा।”

2 And the spirit entride in to me, after that he spak to me, and settide me on my feet. And Y herde oon spekynge to me,

२जैसे ही उसने मुझसे यह कहा, वैसे ही आत्मा ने मुझ में समाकर मुझे पाँवों के बल खड़ा कर दिया; और जो मुझसे बातें करता था मैंने उसकी सुनी।

3 and seiynge, Sone of man, Y sende thee to the sones of Israel, to folkis apostatas, `ether goynge a bak fro feith, that yeden awei fro me; the fadris of hem braken my couenaunt til to this dai.

३उसने मुझसे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, मैं तुझे इस्राएलियों के पास अर्थात् बलवा करनेवाली जाति के पास भेजता हूँ, जिन्होंने मेरे विरुद्ध बलवा किया है; उनके पुरखा और वे भी आज के दिन तक मेरे विरुद्ध अपराध करते चले आए हैं।

4 And the sones ben of hard face, and of vnchastisable herte, to whiche Y sende thee. And thou schalt seie to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis;

४इस पीढ़ी के लोग जिनके पास मैं तुझे भेजता हूँ, वे निर्लज्ज और हठीले हैं;

5 if perauenture nameli thei heren, and if perauenture thei resten, for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe. And thei schulen wite, that a profete is in the myddis of hem.

५और तू उनसे कहना, ‘प्रभु यहोवा यह कहता है,’ इससे वे, जो बलवा करनेवाले घराने के हैं, चाहे वे सुनें या न सुनें, तो भी वे इतना जान लेंगे कि हमारे बीच एक भविष्यद्वक्ता प्रगट हुआ है।

6 Therfore thou, sone of man, drede not hem, nether drede thou the wordis of hem; for vnbileueful men and distrieris ben with thee, and thou dwellist with scorpiouns. Drede thou not the wordis of hem, and drede thou not the faces of hem, for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe.

६हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, तू उनसे न डरना; चाहे तुझे काँटों, ऊँटकटारों और बिच्छुओं के बीच भी रहना पड़े, तो भी उनके वचनों से न डरना; यद्यपि वे विद्रोही घराने के हैं, तो भी न तो उनके वचनों से डरना, और न उनके मुँह देखकर तेरा मन कच्चा हो।

7 Therfor thou schalt speke my wordis to hem, if perauenture thei heren, and resten, for thei ben terreris to wraththe.

७इसलिए चाहे वे सुनें या न सुनें; तो भी तू मेरे वचन उनसे कहना, वे तो बड़े विद्रोही हैं।

8 But thou, sone of man, here what euer thingis Y schal speke to thee; and nyle thou be a terrere to wraththe, as the hows of Israel is a terrere to wraththe. Opene thi mouth, and ete what euer thingis Y yyue to thee.

८“परन्तु हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, जो मैं तुझ से कहता हूँ, उसे तू सुन ले, उस विद्रोही घराने के समान तू भी विद्रोही न बनना जो मैं तुझे देता हूँ, उसे मुँह खोलकर खा ले।”

9 And Y siy, and lo! an hond was sent to me, in which a book was foldid togidere.

९तब मैंने दृष्टि की और क्या देखा, कि मेरी ओर एक हाथ बढ़ा हुआ है और उसमें एक पुस्तक है।

10 And he spredde abrood it bifor me, that was writun with ynne and with outforth. And lamentaciouns, and song, and wo, weren writun ther ynne.

१०उसको उसने मेरे सामने खोलकर फैलाया, और वह दोनों ओर लिखी हुई थी; और जो उसमें लिखा था, वे विलाप और शोक और दुःख भरे वचन थे।
