Ezekiel 15
1 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
तब परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,
2 and he seide, Sone of man, what schal be don to the tre of a vyne, of alle the trees of woodis, that ben among the trees of woodis?
“ए मानिसको छोरो, वनका अरू कुनै रूखका हाँगाहरूभन्दा दाखका बोटको कसरी असल हुन्छ?
3 Whether tymbre schal be takun therof, that werk be maad? ether shal a stake be maad therof, that ony vessel hange ther onne?
के मानिसहरूले दाखको बोटबाट केही चीज बनाउन काठ लिन्छन् र? के तिनीहरूले कुनै कुरा झुण्ड्याउनलाई त्यसबाट किला बनाउँछन् र?
4 Lo! it is youun in to mete; fier wastide euer eithir part therof, and the myddis therof is dryuun in to deed sparcle; whether it schal be profitable to werk?
हेर्, त्यसलाई दाउराको रूपमा आगोमा हालियो भने र त्यसका दुई छेउ र बिचको भाग आगोले भस्म भयो भने, के त्यो कुनै कामको हुन्छ र?
5 Yhe, whanne it was hool, it was not couenable to werk; hou myche more whanne fier hath deuourid, and hath brent it, no thing of werk schal be maad therof?
हेर्, त्यो सिङ्गै हुँदा पनि केही कामको बन्न सकेन । निश्चय पनि आगोले भस्म भएपछि, अझै पनि त्यसबाट केही कामको कुरा बन्दैन ।
6 Therfor the Lord God seith thes thingis, As the tre of a vyne is among the trees of woodis, which Y yaf to fier to deuoure, so Y yaf the dwelleris of Jerusalem,
यसकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः वनमा भएका रूखहरूभन्दा फरक गरी मैले दाखका बोटलाई आगोको लागि दाउरा हुन दिएँ । यरूशलेमका बसिन्दाहरूसित पनि म त्यसरी नै काम गर्नेछु ।
7 and Y schal sette my face ayens hem. Thei schulen go out of the fier, and fier schal waaste hem; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal sette my face ayens hem,
किनकि म आफ्नो अनुहार तिनीहरूका विरुद्धमा फर्काउनेछु । तिनीहरू आगोबाट बाहिर आए तापनि तिनीहरूलाई आगोले नै भस्म गर्नेछ । यसरी तिमीहरूले म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी जान्नेछौ जति बेला मैले आफ्नो अनुहार तिनीहरूका विरुद्धमा फर्काउनेछु ।
8 and schal yyue the lond with out weie and desolat, for thei weren trespassours, seith the Lord God.
तब तिनीहरूले पाप गरेका हुनाले म तिनीहरूको देशलाई त्यागिएको उजाड-स्थान बनाउनेछु— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो ।”
