Ezekiel 15

1 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,

೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು,

2 and he seide, Sone of man, what schal be don to the tre of a vyne, of alle the trees of woodis, that ben among the trees of woodis?

೨“ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಗಿಡವು ಉಳಿದ ಗಿಡಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಎಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚು? ವನವೃಕ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಯ ವಿಶೇಷವೇನು?

3 Whether tymbre schal be takun therof, that werk be maad? ether shal a stake be maad therof, that ony vessel hange ther onne?

೩ಜನರು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದರಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡುವರೋ ಅಥವಾ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವ ವಸ್ತುವನ್ನಾದರೂ ನೇತು ಹಾಕುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅದರಿಂದ ಗೂಟವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರೋ?

4 Lo! it is youun in to mete; fier wastide euer eithir part therof, and the myddis therof is dryuun in to deed sparcle; whether it schal be profitable to werk?

೪ಇಲ್ಲ, ಸೌದೆಯಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುವರು; ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅದರ ಎರಡು ಕೊನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವುದು, ಮಧ್ಯಭಾಗವು ಇದ್ದಲಾಗಿ ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೂ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

5 Yhe, whanne it was hool, it was not couenable to werk; hou myche more whanne fier hath deuourid, and hath brent it, no thing of werk schal be maad therof?

೫ಅದು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೂ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಇದ್ದಲಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೀತು?”

6 Therfor the Lord God seith thes thingis, As the tre of a vyne is among the trees of woodis, which Y yaf to fier to deuoure, so Y yaf the dwelleris of Jerusalem,

೬ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ವನ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಗಿಡವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಗೆ ಸೌದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವರನ್ನು ವಿನಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

7 and Y schal sette my face ayens hem. Thei schulen go out of the fier, and fier schal waaste hem; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal sette my face ayens hem,

೭ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನಿಡುವೆನು; ಅವರು ಬೆಂಕಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೂ, ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅವರನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವುದು; ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನಿಡುವಾಗ ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು.

8 and schal yyue the lond with out weie and desolat, for thei weren trespassours, seith the Lord God.

೮ಅವರು ದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವೆನು” ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
