Ezekiel 13
1 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,

2 and he seide, Sone of man, profesie thou to the profetis of Israel that profesien; and thou schalt seie to hem that profesien of her herte,
E te tama a te tangata, poropititia he he mo nga poropiti o Iharaira e poropiti nei, mea atu hoki ki te hunga no o ratou ngakau ta ratou e poropiti nei, Whakarongo ki te kupu a Ihowa.
3 Here ye the word of the Lord. The Lord God seith these thingis, Wo to the vnwise profetis, that suen her spirit, and seen no thing;
Ko te kupu tenei a te ariki, a Ihowa; Aue, te mate mo nga poropiti wairangi, e whai nei i o ratou wairua ake, a kihai i kite i tetahi mea!
4 Israel, thi profetis weren as foxis in desert.
I rite tonu ou poropiti, e Iharaira, ki nga pokiha i nga wahi koraha.
5 Ye stieden not euene ayens, nether ayensettiden a wal for the hous of Israel, that ye shulden stonde in batel in the dai of the Lord.
Kihai koutou i haere ki nga wahi pakaru, kihai ano i hanga i te taiepa mo te whare o Iharaira, hei turanga i te taturanga i te ra o Ihowa.
6 Thei seen veyn thingis, and deuynen a leesyng, and seien, The Lord seith, whanne the Lord sente not hem; and thei contynueden to conferme the word.
He kitenga teka, he tuaahu horihori ta ratou e ki ra, E ai ta Ihowa; ehara ratou i a Ihowa i unga: a kua meinga e ratou te tangata kia tumanako, tera e mana te kupu.
7 Whether ye seen not a veyn visioun, and spaken fals diuynyng, and seiden, The Lord seith, whanne Y spak not?
He teka ianei he kitenga teka ta koutou kitenga, he horihori te tuaahu i korero ai koutou, i ki ai, E ki ana a Ihowa; a kihai nei ahau i korero?
8 Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, For ye spaken veyn thingis, and sien a leesyng, therfor lo! Y to you, seith the Lord God.
Mo reira ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa, Kua korero na koutou i te teka, kua kite i te horihori, mo reira he hoariri tenei ahau mo koutou, e ai ta te Ariki, ta Ihowa.
9 And myn hond schal be on the profetis that seen veyn thingis, and dyuynen a leesyng; thei schulen not be in the councel of my puple, and thei schulen not be writun in the scripture of the hous of Israel, nether thei schulen entre in to the lond of Israel; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord God.
Ka pa ano toku ringa ki nga poropiti he horihori nei ta ratou kitenga, ki nga tohunga tuaahu teka; e kore ratou e noho ki te runanga o taku iwi, e kore e tuhituhia ki te tuhituhinga o te whare o Iharaira, e kore ano e tae ki te whenua o Iharaira; a ka mohio koutou ko te Ariki ahau, ko Ihowa.
10 For thei disseyueden my puple, and seiden, Pees, pees, and no pees is; and it bildide a wal, but thei pargitiden it with fen with out chaffis.
Mo ratou, ae ra, mo ratou i whakapohehe i taku iwi, i mea, Ka mau te rongo; i te mea kahore he maunga rongo; na ko tetahi kei te hanga i te pakitara, a ko ratou hei pani ki te paru kihai i konatunatua.
11 Seie thou to hem that pargiten with out temperure, that it schal falle doun; for a strong reyn schal be flowynge, and I shal yyue ful grete stoones fallinge fro aboue, and Y schal yyue a wynd of tempest that distrieth.
Mea atu ki nga kaipani o te paru kihai i konatunatua, tera e hinga; ka puta te ua, he waipuke; ka taka iho ano koutou, e nga nganga o te whatu; ka wahia ano hoki e te hau, e te paroro.
12 For lo! the wal felle doun. Whether it schal not be seid to you, Where is the pargetyng, which ye pargetiden?
Nana, ka hinga te pakitara, kahore ranei he ki ki a koutou, kei hea te paninga i pania ra e koutou?
13 Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, And Y schal make the spirit of tempestis to breke out in myn indignacioun, and strong reyn flowynge in my strong veniaunce schal be, and greet stoonys in wraththe in to wastyng.
Mo reira ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa; Ina, ka wahia e ahau ki te hau, ki te paroro, i toku weriweri; ka puta ano te ua, te waipuke, i toku riri, me nga nganga ano o te whatu i toku weriweri, hei whakapoto rawa.
14 And Y schal distrie the wal, which ye pargetiden with out temperure, and Y schal make it euene with the erthe; and the foundement therof schal be schewid, and it schal falle doun, and it schal be wastid in the myddis therof; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
Ka paparu pera i ahau te pakitara i pania ra e koutou ki te paru kihai i konatunatua, pa tonu iho ki te whenua, ka whakakitea ano ona turanga; a ka hinga, ka poto ano koutou ki waenganui o taua pakitara; a ka mohio koutou ko Ihowa ahau.
15 And Y schal fille myn indignacioun in the wal, and in hem that pargeten it with out temperure; and Y schal seie to you, The wal is not, and thei ben not,
Ka whakapaua peratia e ahau toku weriweri ki te pakitara, ki te hunga ano nana i pani ki te paru kihai i konatunatua; ka mea hoki ahau ki a koutou, kua kore te pakitara, kua kore ano te hunga nana i pani;
16 that pargeten it, the profetis of Israel, that profesien to Jerusalem, and seen to it the visioun of pees, and pees is not, seith the Lord God.
Ara nga poropiti o Iharaira mo Hiruharama nei ta ratou e poropiti ai, e kite nei i te kitenga mona, i te rongo mau, i te mea kahore he rongo mau, e ai ta te Ariki, ta Ihowa.
17 And thou, sone of man, sette thi face ayens the douytris of thi puple, that profesien of her herte; and profesie thou on hem,
Na ko koe, e te tama a te tangata, anga atu tou mata ki nga tamahine a tou iwi e poropiti nei, he mea no o ratou ngakau ake; poropititia ano he he mo ratou,
18 and seie thou, The Lord God seith these thingis, Wo to hem that sowen togidere cuschens vndur ech cubit of hond, and maken pilewis vndur the heed of ech age, to take soulis; and whanne thei disseyueden the soulis of my puple, thei quykenyden the soulis of hem.
Mea atu, Ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa; Aue, te mate mo nga wahine e tuitui urunga ana ki nga tuke katoa; e hanga arai ana mo nga mahunga o te roa, o te poto, hei whai wairua! Ka whai ranei koutou i nga wairua o taku iwi? ka whakaora rane i i etahi hei wairua ma koutou?
19 And thei defouliden me to my puple, for an handful of barli, and for a gobet of breed, that thei schulden sle soulis that dien not, and quykene soulis that lyuen not; and thei lieden to my puple, bileuynge to leesyngis.
Kua whakapokea ahau e koutou i waenga i taku iwi hei utu mo nga kutanga parei, mo nga kongakonga taro, hei whakamate i nga wairua e kore e tika kia whakamatea, hei whakaora i nga wairua e kore e tika kia ora, i a koutou ka korero teka na ki taku iwi e whakarongo nei ki a koutou korero teka.
20 For this thing the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y to youre cuschens, bi whiche ye disseyuen soulis fliynge; and Y schal al to-breke tho fro youre armes, and Y schal delyuere soulis which ye disseyuen, soulis to fle.
Mo reira ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa; Nana, e he ana ahau ki o koutou urunga i whaia ai nga wairua e koutou i reira, i meinga ai kia rere, ka haea atu ano e ahau i o koutou ringa; ka tukua ano e ahau nga wairua kia haere, a koutou wairu a e whai na, e mea na kia rere.
21 And Y schal al to-breke youre pilewis, and Y schal delyuere my puple fro youre hond; and thei schulen no more be in youre hondis, to be robbid; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
Ka haea atu ano e ahau o koutou arai, ka whakaorangia hoki taku iwi i roto i o koutou ringa; e kore ano e waiho i o koutou ringa hei whainga atu; a ka mohio koutou ko Ihowa ahau.
22 For that that ye maden falsli the herte of a iust man to morene, whom Y made not sori; and ye coumfortiden the hondis of a wickid man, that he schulde not turne ayen fro his yuel weie, and lyue.
No te mea kua whakapouritia e koutou ki te kupu teka te ngakau o te tangata tika, kihai nei i whakapouritia e ahau; a whakaungia ana nga ringa o te tangata kino, i kore ai e tahuri mai i tona ara kino, kia ora ai:
23 Therfor ye schulen not se veyn thingis, and ye schulen no more dyuyne false dyuynyngis; and Y schal delyuere my puple fro youre hond, and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
