Ezekiel 12
1 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
La parole de l'Eternel me fut encore [adressée], en disant:
2 and he seide, Sone of man, thou dwellist in the myddis of an hous terrynge to wraththe, which han iyen to se, and seen not, and eeris to here, and heren not; for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe.
Fils d'homme: tu demeures au milieu d'une maison rebelle, [au milieu de gens] qui ont des yeux pour voir, et ne voient point; et qui ont des oreilles pour ouïr, et n'entendent point; parce qu'ils [sont] une maison rebelle.
3 Therfor thou, sone of man, make to thee vessels of passing ouer, and thou schalt passe ouer bi dai bifor hem; forsothe thou schalt passe ouer fro thi place to another place, in the siyt of hem, if perauenture thei biholden, for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe.
Toi donc, fils d'homme, fais-toi l'équipage d'un homme qui déloge, et déloge de jour, eux le voyant; déloge, dis-je, de ton lieu pour aller en un autre, eux le voyant; peut-être qu'ils y prendront garde; quoiqu'ils soient une maison rebelle.
4 And thou schalt bere withoutforth thi vessels, as the vessels of a man passynge ouer bi dai, in the siyt of hem; sotheli thou schalt go out in the euentid bifore hem, as a man passynge forth goith out.
Tu mettras donc dehors pendant le jour ton équipage, tel qu'est l'équipage d'un homme qui déloge, eux le voyant; et sur le soir tu sortiras, eux le voyant, comme quand on sort pour déloger.
5 Bifore the iyen of hem digge the wal to thee, and thou
Perce-toi la paroi, eux le voyant, et tire par-là dehors [ton équipage].
6 schalt go out thorouy it in the siyt of hem. Thou schalt be borun on schuldris, thou schalt be borun out in derknesse; thou schalt hile thi face, and thou schalt not se the erthe, for Y haue youe thee a signe
Tu [le] porteras sur l'épaule, eux le voyant, et tu [le] tireras dehors sur la brune; tu couvriras aussi ton visage, afin que tu ne voies point la terre; car je t'ai mis pour être un signe à la maison d'Israël.
7 of thing to comynge to the hous of Israel. Therfor Y dide as the Lord comaundide to me; Y brouyte forth my vessels, as the vessels of a man passynge ouer bi dai, and in the euentid Y diggide a wal to me with hond; Y yede out in derknesse, and Y was borun on schuldris,
Je fis donc comme il m'avait été commandé: je portai dehors durant le jour mon équipage tel qu'est l'équipage d'un homme qui déloge, et sur le soir je me perçai la paroi avec la main, je le tirai dehors sur la brune, [et] le portai sur l'épaule, eux le voyant.
8 in the siyt of hem. And the word of the Lord was maad eerli to me,
Et au matin la parole de l'Eternel me fut [adressée], en disant:
9 and he seide, Sone of man, whether the hous of Israel, the hous terrynge to wraththe, seiden not to thee, What doist thou?
Fils d'homme, la maison d'Israël, maison rebelle, ne t'a-t-elle pas dit: qu'est-ce que tu fais?
10 Seie thou to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, This birthun is on the duyk, which is in Jerusalem, and on al the hous of Israel, which is in the myddis of hem.
Dis-leur: ainsi a dit le Seigneur l'Eternel: Cet ordre dont je suis chargé s'adresse au Prince qui est dans Jérusalem, et à toute la maison d'Israël qui est parmi eux.
11 Seie thou, Y am youre signe of thing to comynge; as Y dide, so it schal be don to hem; thei schulen go in to passynge ouer, and in to caitifte.
Dis: Je vous suis pour un signe; comme j'ai fait, ainsi il leur sera fait; ils délogeront pour s'en aller en captivité.
12 And the duyk which is in the myddis of hem, schal be borun out on schuldris, and he schal go out in derknesse; thei schulen digge the wal, and lede hym out; his face schal be hilid, that he se not with iye the erthe.
Et le Prince qui est parmi eux, portera sur la brune [son équipage] sur l'épaule, et sortira; on lui percera la paroi pour le tirer par-là dehors; il couvrira son visage, afin qu'il ne voie point de ses yeux la terre.
13 And Y schal stretche forth my net on hym, and he schal be takun in my net; and Y schal lede hym in to Babiloyne, in to the lond of Caldeis, and he schal not se that lond, and he schal die there.
J'étendrai mon rets sur lui, et il sera pris dans mes filets; et je le ferai entrer dans Babylone au pays des Caldéens, mais il ne la verra point, et il y mourra.
14 And Y schal scatere in to ech wynd alle men that ben aboute hym, his help, and hise cumpenyes; and Y schal draw out the swerd aftir hem.
Et je disperserai à tout vent tout ce qui est autour de lui, son secours, et toutes ses troupes; et je tirerai l'épée après eux.
15 And thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal scatere hem among hethene men, and schal sowe hem abrood in londis.
Et ils sauront que je suis l'Eternel, quand je les aurai répandus parmi les nations, et que je les aurai dispersés par les pays.
16 And Y schal leue of hem a fewe men fro swerd, and hungur, and pestilence, that thei telle out alle the grete trespassis of hem among hethene men, to which thei schulen entre; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
Et je laisserai de reste d'entre eux quelque peu de gens, [préservés] de l'épée, de la famine, et de la mortalité, afin qu'ils racontent toutes leurs abominations, parmi les nations vers lesquelles ils seront parvenus; et ils sauront que je suis l'Eternel.
17 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
Puis la parole de l'Eternel me fut [adressée], en disant:
18 and he seide, Thou, sone of man, ete thi breed in disturblyng, but also drynke thi water in haaste and mourening.
Fils d'homme, mange ton pain dans l'agitation, et bois ton eau en tremblant et avec inquiétude.
19 And thou schalt seie to the puple of the lond, The Lord God seith these thingis to hem that dwellen in Jerusalem, in the lond of Israel, Thei schulen ete her breed in angwisch, and thei schulen drynke her watir in desolacioun; that the lond be desolat of his multitude, for the wickidnesse of alle men that dwellen ther ynne.
Puis tu diras au peuple du pays: ainsi a dit le Seigneur l'Eternel touchant les habitants de Jérusalem, à la terre d'Israël: ils mangeront leur pain avec chagrin, et ils boiront leur eau avec frayeur, parce que son pays sera désolé, étant privé de son abondance, à cause de la violence de tous ceux qui y habitent.
20 And citees that ben now enhabitid, shulen be desolat, and the lond schal be forsakun; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
Et les villes peuplées seront désertes, et le pays ne sera que désolation; et vous saurez que je suis l'Eternel.
21 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
La parole de l'Eternel me fut encore [adressée], en disant:
22 and he seide, Sone of man, what is this prouerbe to you, of men seiynge in the lond of Israel, Daies schulen be differrid in to long tyme, and ech visioun shal perische?
Fils d'homme, quel est ce proverbe dont vous usez touchant la terre d'Israël, en disant: les jours seront prolongés, et toute vision périra?
23 Therfor seie thou to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, Y schal make this prouerbe to ceesse, and it schal no more be seid comynli in Israel; and speke thou to hem, that the daies han neiyid, and ech word of profesie.
C'est pourquoi dis-leur: ainsi a dit le Seigneur l'Eternel, je ferai cesser ce proverbe, et on ne s'en servira plus pour proverbe en Israël; et dis-leur: les jours, et la parole de toute vision sont proches.
24 For whi ech visioun schal no more be voide, nether bifor tellyng of thing to comynge schal be douteful in the myddis of the sones of Israel;
Car il n'y aura plus désormais aucune vision de vanité, ni aucune divination de flatteur, au milieu de la maison d'Israël.
25 for Y the Lord schal speke what euer word Y schal speke, and it schal be don; it schal no more be delaied, but in youre daies, ye hous terrynge to wraththe, Y schal speke a word, and Y schal do that word, seith the Lord God.
Car moi l'Eternel, je parlerai, et la parole que j'aurai prononcée sera mise en exécution, elle ne sera plus différée; mais, ô maison rebelle! je prononcerai en vos jours la parole, et je l'exécuterai, dit le Seigneur l'Eternel.
26 And the word of the Lord was maad to me, and he seide, Thou,
La parole de l'Eternel me fut encore [adressée], en disant:
27 sone of man, lo! the hous of Israel, of hem that seien, The visioun which this man seeth, is in to manye daies, and this man profesieth in to longe tymes.
Fils d'homme, voici, ceux de la maison d'Israël disent: la vision que celui-ci voit n'arrivera pas de longtemps, et il prophétise pour des temps qui sont encore éloignés.
28 Therfor seie thou to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, Ech word of me schal no more be deferrid; the word which Y schal speke, schal be fillid, seith the Lord God.
C'est pourquoi dis-leur: ainsi a dit le Seigneur l'Eternel: aucune de mes paroles ne sera plus différée, mais la parole que j'aurai prononcée sera exécutée [incessamment], dit le Seigneur l'Eternel.
