Ezekiel 10
1 And Y siy, and lo! in the firmament that was on the heed of cherubyns, as a saphir stoon, and as the fourme of licnesse of a kyngis seete apperide theron.
Ich sah mich um, und auf dem Himmel, der überm Haupt der Cherube, war etwas wie ein Saphirstein zu sehn. Als wär's ein Throngebilde, sah es aus, was über ihnen sichtbar ward.
2 And he seide to the man that was clothid in lynnun clothis, and spak, Entre thou in the myddis of wheelis, that ben vndur cherubyns, and fille thin hond with coolis of fier, that ben bitwixe cherubyns, and schede thou out on the citee.
Und zu dem Mann im Linnenkleide sagte er: "Tritt zwischen diese Räder unterhalb des Cherubs hin! Und mit den Händen nimm dir glühende Kohlen zwischen diesen Cheruben heraus, und streu sie über diese Stadt!" Vor meinen Augen ging er hin.
3 And he entride in my siyt; forsothe cherubyns stoden at the riyt side of the hous, whanne the man entride, and a clowde fillide the ynnere halle.
Als er hineinging, standen rechts vom Haus die Cherube, und von der Wolke war der innere Hof erfüllt.
4 And the glorie of the Lord was reisid fro aboue cherubyns to the threisfold of the hous; and the hous was fillid with a cloude, and the halle was fillid with schynyng of the glorie of the Lord.
Des Herren Herrlichkeit erhob sich aber von dem Cherub, und sie begab sich zu des Hauses Schwelle. Da füllte sich das Haus mit dieser Wolke, und voll vom Glanz der Herrlichkeit des Herrn ward auch der Hof.
5 And the sown of wyngis of cherubyns was herd til to the outermere halle, as the vois of almyyti God spekynge.
Das Rauschen jener Cherubsflügel wurde bis zum äußern Hof vernommen, gleich der Stimme des Allmächtigen, wenn er redet.
6 And whanne he hadde comaundid to the man that was clothid in lynnun clothis, and hadde seid, Take thou fier fro the myddis of the wheelis, that ben bitwixe cherubyns, he entride, and stood bisidis the wheel.
Da er dem Mann im Linnenkleide so geboten:"Nimm Feuer zwischen diesen Rädern und zwischen diesen Cheruben heraus", ging dieser hin und stellte sich dem Rade gegenüber.
7 And cherub stretchide forth his hond fro the myddis of cherubyns, to the fier that was bitwixe cherubyns; and took, and yaf in to the hondis of hym that was clothid in lynnun clothis; and he took, and yede out.
Da streckte zwischen diesen Cheruben ein Cherub die Hand nach jenem Feuer aus, das zwischen jenen Cheruben; er nahm davon und gab es dem ins Linnenkleid Gehüllten in die Hände; der nahm's und ging hinweg.
8 And the licnesse of the hond of a man apperide in cherubyns, vndur the wyngis of tho.
Man konnte an den Cheruben so etwas unter ihren Flügeln sehn, was Ähnlichkeit mit einer Menschenhand besaß.
9 And Y siy, and lo! foure wheelis weren bisidis cherubyns; o wheel bisidis o cherub, and another wheel bisidis another cherub; forsothe the licnesse of wheelis was as the siyt of the stoon crisolitis.
Ich sah's genauer an und sah vier Räder neben diesen Cheruben; denn neben jedem Cherub war ein Rad; die Räder sahen aus wie Chrysolith.
10 And the biholdyng of tho was o licnesse of foure, as if a wheel be in the myddis of a wheel.
Und jedes dieser vier sah ganz genau so wie das andere aus, als ob ein Rad im andern wäre.
11 And whanne tho yeden, tho yeden in to foure partis; tho turneden not ayen goynge, but to the place to which that that was the firste wheel bowide to go, also othere suyden, and turneden not ayen.
Bei ihrem Gehen gingen sie nach allen den vier Seiten; beim Gehen drehten sie sich nicht. Denn zu dem Orte gingen sie, wohin sich eines jeden Haupt hinwandte; sie drehten sich beim Gehen nicht.
12 And al the bodi of tho wheelis, and the neckis, and hondis, and wyngis of the beestis, and the cerclis, weren ful of iyen, in the cumpas of foure wheelis.
Ihr ganzer Leib, ihr Rücken, ihre Hände, ihre Flügel mitsamt den Rädern waren ringsum voller Augen, bei allen den vier Rädern.
13 And he clepide tho wheelis volible, ether able to go al aboute, in myn heryng.
Die Räder hießen, wie ich's selbst gehört, die "Drehbaren".
14 Forsothe o beeste hadde foure faces; o face was the face of cherub, and the secounde face the face of a man, and in the thridde was the face of a lioun, and in the fourthe was the face of an egle;
Und vier Gesichter hatte jedes: Das eine Angesicht, das Angesicht des Cherubs, war ein Stiergesicht; das zweite Antlitz war ein Menschenangesicht; ein Löwenantlitz war das dritte; ein Adlerantlitz war das vierte.
15 and the cherubyns weren reisid. Thilke is the beeste, which Y hadde seyn bisidis the flood Chobar.
Erheben konnten sich die Cherube; das war das Wesen, das ich am Kebarfluß geschaut.
16 And whanne cherubyns yeden, also the wheelis bisidis tho yeden to gidere; whanne cherubyns reisiden her wyngis, that tho schulden be enhaunsid fro the erthe, the wheelis abididen not stille, but also tho weren bisidis cherubyns.
Und wenn die Cherube fortgingen, bewegten sich die Räder neben ihnen auch. Wenn aber diese Cherube die Flügel schwangen, um sich vom Boden zu erheben, dann drehten sich die Räder nicht an ihrer Seite.
17 The wheelis stooden with tho cherubyns stondynge, and weren reisid with the cherubyns reisid; for the spirit of lijf was in tho wheelis.
Wenn jene standen, verhielten diese auch; erhoben jene sich, erhoben diese sich mit jenen; denn auch in ihnen war der Geist der Wesen.
18 And the glorie of the Lord yede out fro the threisfold of the temple, and stood on the cherubyns.
Da ging des Herren Herrlichkeit fort von des Hauses Schwelle und ließ sich auf die Cherube herab.
19 And cherubyns reisiden her wyngis, and weren enhaunsid fro the erthe bifore me; and whanne tho yeden out, also the wheelis sueden; and it stood in the entryng of the eest yate of the hous of the Lord, and the glorie of God of Israel was on tho.
Da schwangen diese Cherube die Flügel und stiegen von dem Boden auf vor meinen Augen. Wie die sich fortbegaben, machten es in gleicher Weise auch die Räder. Am Eingang blieben sie zum Osttor stehen, das zum Haus des Herren führt, und oben über ihnen war die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels.
20 Thilke is the beeste, which Y siy vndur God of Israel, bisidis the flood Chobar. And Y vndurstood that foure cherubyns weren;
Das war das Wesen, das ich am Kebarfluß geschaut unter dem Gott von Israel; so wußte ich, es seien Cherube.
21 foure faces weren to oon, and foure wyngys weren to oon; and the licnesse of the hond of a man was vndur the wyngis of tho.
Ein jeder hatte vier Gesichter, vier Flügel jeder, und so etwas wie Menschenhände war unter ihren Flügeln.
22 And the licnesse of the cheris of tho weren thilke cheeris whiche Y hadde seyn bisidis the flood Chobar; and the biholdyng of tho, and the fersnesse of ech, was to entre bifor his face.
Und ihre Angesichter sahen aus wie jene, die ich am Kebarfluß geschaut. Sie sahen ihnen gleich und waren es; ein jedes ging gerade vor sich hin.
