Exodus 5
1 Aftir these thingis Moises and Aaron entriden, and seiden to Farao, The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, Delyuere thou my puple, that it make sacrifice to me in deseert.
Annakutána pedig elmenének Mózes és Áron és mondának a Faraónak: Ezt mondá az Úr, Izráelnek Istene: Bocsásd el az én népemet, hogy ünnepet üljenek nékem a pusztában.
2 And he answeride, Who is the Lord, that Y here his vois, and delyuere Israel? I knowe not the Lord, and Y schal not delyuere Israel.
A Faraó pedig mondá: Kicsoda az Úr, hogy szavára hallgassak, és elbocsássam Izráelt? Nem ismerem az Urat és nem is bocsátom el Izráelt.
3 Thei seiden, God of Ebrews clepide vs, that we go the weie of thre daies in to wildirnesse, and that we make sacrifice to oure Lord God, lest perauenture pestilence, ether swerd, bifalle to vs.
Ők pedig mondának: A héberek Istene megjelent nékünk; hadd mehessünk hát háromnapi útra a pusztába, hogy áldozhassunk az Úrnak a mi Istenünknek, hogy meg ne verjen minket döghalállal vagy fegyverrel.
4 The kyng of Egipt seide to hem, Moises and Aaron, whi stiren ye the puple fro her werkis? Go ye to youre chargis.
Égyiptom királya pedig monda nékik: Mózes és Áron! miért vonjátok el a népet az ő munkáitól? menjetek dolgotokra.
5 And Farao seide, The puple of the loond is myche; ye seen that the cumpany hath encreessid; hou myche more schal it encreesse, if ye schulen yyue to hem reste fro werkis.
Ezt is mondja vala a Faraó: Ímé a föld népe most sok, és ti elhagyatjátok velök az ő munkáikat.
6 Therfor Farao comaundide in that dai to the maistris of werkis, and to rente gadereris of the puple,
Parancsolá azért a Faraó azon a napon a nép sarczoltatóinak és felvigyázóinak, mondván:
7 and seide, Ye schulen no more yyue stre to the puple, to make tijl stoonys as bifore; but go thei, and gedere stobil;
Ne adjatok többé polyvát a népnek a téglavetéshez mint ennekelőtte; hadd menjenek el ők magok és szedjenek magoknak polyvát.
8 and ye schulen sette on hem the mesure of tijl stoonys, which thei maden bifore, nether ye schulen abate ony thing; for thei ben idil, and therfor thei crien, and seien, Go we, and make we sacrifice to oure God;
De a tégla számát, mennyit ennekelőtte csináltak, vessétek ki rájok; azt le ne szállítsátok, mert restek ők és azért kiáltoznak, mondván: Menjünk el, áldozzunk a mi Istenünknek.
9 be thei oppressid bi werkis, and fille thei tho, that thei assente not to the false wordis.
Nehezíttessék meg a szolgálat ezeken az embereken, hogy azzal legyen dolguk és ne hajtsanak hazug szóra.
10 Therfor the maistris of the workis and the rente gadereris yeden out to the puple, and seiden, Thus seith Farao, Y yyue not to you stre;
Kimenének azért a nép sarczoltatói és felvigyázói és ezt mondák a népnek mondván: Ezt mondja a Faraó: Nem adok néktek polyvát.
11 go ye, and gadere, if ye moun fynde ony where; nether ony thing schal be decreessid of youre werk.
Menjetek magatok, szedjetek magatoknak polyvát onnan, a hol találtok; mert semmi sem szállíttatik le szolgálatotokból.
12 And the puple was scaterid bi al the lond of Egipt to gadre stre.
És elszélede a nép egész Égyiptom földén, hogy tarlót szedjen polyva helyett.
13 And the maystris of werkis weren bisi, and seiden, Fille ye youre werk ech dai, as ye weren wont to do, whanne the stre was youun to you.
A sarczoltatók pedig szorítják vala, mondván: Végezzétek el munkátokat, napjában a napi munkát, mint akkor, a mikor polyva volt.
14 And thei, that weren maistris of the werkis of the sones of Israel, weren betun of the rent gadereris of Farao, that seiden, Whi filliden ye not the mesure of tijl stoonus, as bifore, nether yistirdai nethir to dai?
És verettetének az Izráel fiai közül való felvigyázók, a kiket a Faraó sarczoltatói rendeltek vala föléjök, mondván: Miért nem végeztétek el a rátok vetett téglaszámot sem tegnap, sem ma úgy, mint ennekelőtte?
15 And the souereyns of the sonys of Israel camen, and crieden to Farao, and seiden, Whi doist thou so ayens thi seruauntis?
És elmenének az Izráel fiai közül való felvigyázók és kiáltának a Faraóhoz, mondván: Miért cselekszel így a te szolgáiddal?
16 Stre is not youun to vs, and tijl stoonus ben comaundid in lijk manere. Lo! we thi seruauntis ben betun with scourgis, and it is doon vniustli ayens thi puple.
Polyvát nem adnak a te szolgáidnak és azt mondják nékünk: Csináljatok téglát! És ímé a te szolgáid verettetnek, a te néped pedig vétkezik.
17 Farao seide, Ye yyuen tent to idilnesse, and therfor ye seien, Go we, and make we sacrifice to the Lord;
Az pedig monda: Restek vagytok, restek, azért mondjátok: Menjünk el, áldozzunk az Úrnak!
18 therfor go ye, and worche; stre schal not be youun to you, and ye schulen yelde the customable noumbre of tijl stoonus.
Most pedig menjetek, dolgozzatok, polyvát ugyan nem adnak néktek, de a rátok vetett tégla-számot be kell adnotok.
19 And the souereyns of the children of Israel sien hem silf in yuel, for it was seid to hem, No thing schal be decreessid of tijl stoonus bi alle daies.
Akkor látják vala Izráel fiainak felvigyázói, hogy bajban vannak, mivel azt kell mondaniok: a tégla-számot le ne szállítsátok; napjában a napi munka meglegyen.
20 And thei `camen to Moises and Aaron, that stoden euene ayens, and thei `yeden out fro Farao,
És mikor kijövének a Faraótól, szembe találkozának Mózessel és Áronnal.
21 and seiden to `Moises and Aaron, The Lord se, and deme, for ye han maad oure odour to stynke bifore Farao and hise seruauntis; and ye han youe to hym a swerd, that he schulde sle vs.
S mondának nékik: Lásson meg titeket az Úr és ítéljen meg, kik rossz hírbe kevertetek minket a Faraó előtt és az ő szolgái előtt, fegyvert adván azok kezébe, hogy megöljenek minket.
22 And Moises turnede ayen to the Lord, and seide, Lord, whi hast thou turmentid this puple? why sentist thou me?
És visszaméne Mózes az Úrhoz és monda: Uram, miért engedsz rosszul bánni ezzel a néppel! Miért küldél engem ide?
23 For sithen Y entride to Farao, that Y schulde speke in thi name, thou hast turmentid thi puple, and hast not delyuered hem.
Mert attól fogva, hogy bemenék a Faraóhoz, hogy a te nevedben szóljak, rosszabbul bánik e néppel; megszabadítani pedig nem szabadítád meg a te népedet.
