Exodus 34
1 And aftirward God seide, Hewe to thee twey tablis of stoon at the licnesse of the formere, and Y schal write on tho tablis thilke wordis, whiche the tablis, that thou `hast broke, hadden.
Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Haue dir zwei steinerne Tafeln, wie die ersten waren, daß ich die Worte darauf schreibe, die auf den ersten Tafeln waren, welche du zerbrochen hast,
2 Be thou redi in the morewtid, that thou stie anoon in to the hil of Synai; and thou schalt stonde with me on the cop of the hil;
und sei morgen bereit, daß du früh auf den Berg Sinai steigest und daselbst zu mir auf die Spitze des Berges tretest.
3 no man stie with thee, nether ony man be seyn bi al the hil, and oxun and scheep be not fed ayens `the hil.
Und laß niemand mit dir hinaufsteigen, daß niemand um den ganzen Berg her gesehen werde; laß auch keine Schafe noch Rinder gegen diesen Berg weiden!
4 Therfor Moises hewide twey tablis of stoon, whiche manere tablis weren bifore, and he roos bi nyyt, and stiede in to the hil of Synay, as the Lord comaundide to hym; and he bar with hym the tablis.
Und Mose machte zwei steinerne Tafeln, wie die ersten waren, und stand am Morgen früh auf und stieg auf den Berg Sinai, wie ihm der HERR geboten hatte, und nahm die zwei steinernen Tafeln in seine Hand.
5 And whanne the Lord hadde come doun bi a cloude, Moises stood with hym, and clepide inwardli `the name of the Lord;
Da kam der HERR herab in einer Wolke und trat daselbst zu ihm und rief den Namen des HERRN aus.
6 and whanne the Lord passide bifore hym, he seide, Lordschipere, Lord God, mercyful, and pitouse, pacient, and of myche mersiful doyng, and sothefast,
Und als der HERR vor seinem Angesicht vorüberging, rief er: Der HERR, der HERR, der starke Gott, der barmherzig und gnädig ist, langsam zum Zorn und von großer Gnade und Treue;
7 which kepist couenaunt and mercy in to `a thousande, which doist awey wickidnesse, and trespassis, and synnes, and noon bi hym silf is innocent anentis thee, which yeldist the wickidnesse of fadris to sones and to sones of sones, into the thridde and fourthe generacioun.
welcher Tausenden Gnade bewahrt und Missetat, Übertretung und Sünde vergibt, aber keineswegs ungestraft läßt, sondern heimsucht der Väter Missetat an den Kindern und Kindeskindern bis in das dritte und vierte Glied!
8 And hastili Moises was bowid low `in to erthe, and worschipide,
Da neigte sich Mose eilends zur Erde, betete an und sprach:
9 and seide, Lord, if Y haue founde grace in thi siyt, Y biseche that thou go with vs, for the puple is of hard nol, and that thou do awey oure wickidnesses and synnes, and welde vs.
O Herr, habe ich vor deinen Augen Gnade gefunden, so ziehe mein Herr mitten unter uns, wiewohl es ein halsstarriges Volk ist; du aber wollest unserer Missetat und Sünde gnädig sein und uns zum Erbteil annehmen!
10 The Lord answeride, Y schal make couenaunt, and in siyt of alle men Y schal make signes, that weren neuer seyn on erthe, nether in ony folkis, that this puple, in whos myddis thou art, se the ferdful werk of the Lord, which Y schal make.
Da sprach er: Siehe, ich mache einen Bund: vor deinem ganzen Volk will ich Wunder tun, dergleichen nicht geschehen sind in allen Ländern und unter allen Völkern; und das ganze Volk, darunter du bist, soll das Werk des HERRN sehen; denn wunderbar soll es sein, was ich mit dir tun will.
11 Kepe thou alle thingis, whiche Y comaundide to thee to dai; I my silf schal caste out bifor thi face Amorrey, and Cananey, and Ethei, and Ferezei, and Euey, and Jebusei.
Hüte dich vor dem, was ich dir heute verbiete! Siehe, ich will vor dir her ausstoßen die Amoriter, Kanaaniter, Hetiter, Pheresiter, Heviter und Jebusiter.
12 Be war, lest ony tyme thou ioyne frendschipis with the dwelleris of that lond, whiche frenschipis be in to fallyng to thee.
Hüte dich, mit den Einwohnern des Landes, in das du kommst, einen Bund zu machen, daß sie dir zum Fallstrick werden in deiner Mitte;
13 But also distrie thou `the auteris of hem, breke the ymagis, and kitte doun the woodis;
sondern ihr sollt ihre Altäre umstürzen und ihre Säulen zerbrechen und ihre Astartenbilder ausrotten.
14 `nyl thou worschipe an alien God; `the Lord a gelous louyere is his name, God is a feruent louyere;
Denn du sollst keinen andern Gott anbeten. Denn der HERR heißt ein Eiferer und ist ein eifersüchtiger Gott.
15 make thou not couenaunt with the men of tho cuntreis, lest whanne thei han do fornycacioun with her goddis, and han worschipid the symylacris of hem, ony man clepe thee, that thou ete of thingis offrid to an ydol.
Daß du nicht etwa mit den Einwohnern des Landes einen Bund machest, und wenn sie ihren Göttern nachbuhlen und ihren Göttern opfern, sie dich einladen und du von ihrem Opfer essest,
16 Nether thou schalt take a wyif of her douytris to thi sones, lest aftir that tho douytris han do fornycacioun, thei make also thi sones to do fornicacioun in to her goddis.
und nehmest deinen Söhnen ihre Töchter zu Weibern und dieselben alsdann ihren Göttern nachbuhlen und machen, daß deine Söhne auch ihren Göttern nachbuhlen.
17 Thou schalt not make to thee yotun goddis.
Du sollst dir keine gegossenen Göttern machen.
18 Thou schalt kepe the solempynyte of therf looues; seuene daies thou schalt ete therf looues, as Y comaundide to thee, in the time of the monethe of newe fruytis; for in the monethe of veer tyme thou yedist out of Egipt.
Das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote sollst du halten. Sieben Tage lang sollst du ungesäuertes Brot essen, wie ich dir geboten habe, um die bestimmte Zeit des Monats Abib; denn im Monat Abib bist du aus Ägypten gezogen.
19 Al thing of male kynde that openeth the wombe schal be myn, of alle lyuynge beestis, as wel of oxun, as of scheep, it schal be myn.
Alle Erstgeburt ist mein, auch alle männliche Erstgeburt unter deinem Vieh, es sei ein Ochs oder ein Schaf.
20 Thou schalt ayenbie with a scheep the firste gendrid of an asse, ellis if thou yyuest not prijs therfor, it schal be slayn. Thou schalt ayenbie the firste gendrid of thi sones; nether thou schalt appere voide in my siyt.
Aber den Erstling des Esels sollst du mit einem Schafe lösen; wenn du ihn aber nicht lösest, so brich ihm das Genick. Alle Erstgeburt deiner Söhne sollst du lösen. Man soll nicht leer erscheinen vor meinem Angesicht.
21 Sixe daies thou schalt worche, the seuenthe day thou schalt ceesse to ere and repe.
Sechs Tage sollst du arbeiten, aber am siebenten Tage sollst du ruhen; mit Pflügen und Ernten sollst du ruhen.
22 Thou schalt make to thee the solempnyte of woukis in the firste thingis of fruytis of thi ripe corn of wheete, and the solempnyte, whanne alle thingis ben gadrid in to bernes, whanne the tyme `of yeer cometh ayen.
Das Fest der Wochen sollst du halten, mit den Erstlingen der Weizenernte und das Fest der Einsammlung, wenn das Jahr vergangen ist.
23 Ech male kynde of thee schal appere in thre tymes of the yeer in the siyt of the Lord Almyyti, thi God of Israel.
Alles, was männlich ist, soll dreimal im Jahr vor dem Herrscher, dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, erscheinen.
24 For whanne Y schal take awei folkis fro thi face, and Y schal alarge thi termes, noon schal sette tresouns to thi lond, while thou stiest and apperist in the siyt of thi Lord God, thries in the yeer.
Wenn ich die Heiden vor dir ausstoßen und deine Landmarken erweitern werde, soll niemand deines Landes begehren, während du hinaufgehst, um dreimal im Jahr zu erscheinen vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott.
25 Thou schalt not offre on sour dow the blood of my sacrifice, nethir ony thing of the slayn sacrifice of the solempnyte of fase schal abide in the morewtid.
Du sollst das Blut meines Opfers nicht neben dem Sauerteig opfern. Und das Opfer des Passahfestes soll nicht über Nacht bis zum Morgen bleiben.
26 Thou schalt offre in the hows of thi Lord God the firste of the fruytis of thi lond. Thou schalt not sethe a kide in the mylk of his modir.
Die Erstlinge von den ersten Früchten deines Ackers sollst du in das Haus des HERRN, deines Gottes, bringen. Du sollst das Böcklein nicht in der Milch seiner Mutter kochen.
27 And the Lord seide to Moises, Write thou these wordis, bi whiche Y smoot a boond of pees, bothe with thee and with Israel.
Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Schreibe diese Worte; denn nach diesen Worten habe ich mit dir und mit Israel einen Bund gemacht.
28 Therfor Moises was there with the Lord bi fourti daies and bi fourti nyytis, he eet not breed, and drank not watir; and he wroot in tablys ten wordis of the boond of pees.
Und er war daselbst bei dem HERRN vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte lang und aß kein Brot und trank kein Wasser. Und er schrieb auf die Tafeln die Worte des Bundes, die zehn Worte.
29 And whanne Moises cam doun fro the hil of Synai, he helde twei tablis of witnessyng, and he wiste not that his face was horned of the felouschipe of Goddis word.
Als nun Mose vom Berge Sinai hinabstieg und die beiden Tafeln des Zeugnisses in der Hand hielt, als er vom Berge herabstieg, da wußte er nicht, daß die Haut seines Angesichts strahlte davon, daß er mit Ihm geredet hatte.
30 Forsothe Aaron and the sones of Israel sien Moises face horned,
Und Aaron und alle Kinder Israel sahen Mose, und siehe, die Haut seines Angesichtes strahlte; da fürchteten sie sich, ihm zu nahen.
31 and thei dredden to neiye niy, and thei weren clepid of hym, `and thei turneden ayen, as wel Aaron as the princis of the synagoge; and after that Moises spak, thei camen to hym,
Aber Mose rief sie; da wandten sie sich zu ihm, Aaron und alle Obersten der Gemeinde; und Mose redete mit ihnen.
32 yhe alle the sones of Israel; to whiche Moises comaundide alle thingis, whiche he hadde herd of the Lord in the hil of Synai.
Darnach traten alle Kinder Israel näher zu ihm. Und er befahl ihnen alles, was der HERR mit ihm auf dem Berge Sinai geredet hatte.
33 And whanne the wordis weren fillid, he puttide a veil on his face;
Als nun Mose aufhörte mit ihnen zu reden, legte er eine Decke auf sein Angesicht.
34 and he entride to the Lord, and spak with hym, and dide awey that veil, til he yede out; and thanne he spak to the sones of Israel alle thingis, that weren comaundid to hym;
Und wenn Mose hineinging vor den HERRN, mit ihm zu reden, tat er die Decke ab, bis er wieder herausging. Und er ging heraus und redete mit den Kindern Israel, was ihm befohlen war.
35 whiche sien that the face of Moyses goynge out was horned, but eft he hilide his face, if ony tyme he spak to hem.
Und die Kinder Israel sahen das Angesicht Moses, daß die Haut desselben strahlte, und Mose tat die Decke wieder auf sein Angesicht, bis er wieder hineinging, mit Ihm zu reden.
