Exodus 31
1 And the Lord spak to Moyses, `and seide, Lo!
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
2 Y haue clepid Beseleel bi name, the sone of Hury, sone of Hur, of the lynage of Juda;
Hice una selección de Bezaleel, hijo de Uri, por nombre, hijo de Hur, de la tribu de Judá:
3 and Y haue fillid hym with the spirit of God, with wisdom, and vndirstondyng, and kunnyng in al werk,
Y lo he llenado del Espíritu de Dios y lo hice sabio y lleno de conocimiento y entendimiento experto en todo tipo de trabajos manuales,
4 to fynde out what euer thing may be maad suteli, of gold, and siluer, and bras, and marbil,
Para hacer todo tipo de trabajo delicado en oro, plata y bronce;
5 and gemmes, and dyuersite of trees.
En el corte de piedras para enmarcar y para hacer cualquier tipo de trabajo en madera.
6 And Y haue youe to hym a felowe, Ooliab, the sone of Achisameth, of the kynrede of Dan; and Y haue put in `the herte of hem the wisdom of ech lerned man, that thei make alle thingis, whiche Y comaundide to thee;
E hice la elección de Aholiab con él, hijo de Ahisamac, de la tribu de Dan; y en los corazones de todos los que son sabios, he puesto el conocimiento para hacer lo que les he ordenado que hayan hecho;
7 the tabernacle of boond of pees, and the arke of witnessyng, and the propiciatorie, ether table, which is theronne, and alle the vessels of the tabernacle;
La tienda de reunión, y el cofre del pacto, el propiciatorio que está sobre ella, y todos los utensilios para la tienda,
8 also the bord, and vessels therof, the clenneste candilstike with hise vessels, and the auteris of encence,
Y la mesa con sus vasos, y él candelabro de oro puro con todos sus vasos, y el altar para la quema de incienso,
9 and of brent sacrifice, and alle the vessels of hem; the greet `waischyng vessel with his foundement;
Y el altar de las ofrendas quemadas con todos sus vasos, y la palangana con su base,
10 hooli clothis in seruyce to Aaron prest, and to hise sones, that thei be set in her office in hooli thingis;
Y las vestiduras para ministrar, las túnicas sagradas para Aarón y para sus hijos, para su uso cuando actúan como sacerdotes,
11 the oile of anoyntyng, and encence of swete smellynge spiceryes in the seyntuarie; thei schulen make alle thingis whiche Y comaundide to thee.
Y el aceite sagrado de la unción y el incienso de especias aromáticas para el lugar santo; Harán lo que les haya dado órdenes de haber hecho.
12 And the Lord spak to Moises, `and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel,
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
13 and thou schalt seie to hem, Se ye that ye kepe my sabat, for it is a signe bytwixe me and you in youre generaciouns; that ye wite, that Y am the Lord, which halewe you.
Diles a los hijos de Israel que deben guardar mis sábados; porque el día de reposo es una señal entre ustedes y yo a través de todas sus generaciones; para que veas que yo soy el Señor que te hace santo.
14 Kepe ye my sabat, for it is hooli to you; he that defoulith it, schal die bi deeth, the soule of hym, that doith werk in the sabat, schal perische fro the myddis of his puple.
Así que debes guardar el sábado como un día santo; y cualquiera que no lo honre, ciertamente morirá: cualquiera que haga algún trabajo en ese día será cortado de su pueblo.
15 Sixe daies ye schulen do werk; in the seuenthe dai is sabat, hooli reste to the Lord; ech man that doith werk in this dai schal die.
Seis días se puede trabajar, pero el séptimo día es un sábado de descanso completo, santo para el Señor; cualquiera que haga algún trabajo en el día de reposo debe ser ejecutado.
16 The sones of Israel kepe sabat, and halewe it in her generaciouns;
Y los hijos de Israel han de guardar el día de reposo santo, de generación en generación, por un acuerdo eterno.
17 it is a couenaunt euerlastinge bitwixe me and the sones of Israel, and it is `a signe euerlastynge; for in sixe daies God made heuene and erthe, and in the seuenthe day he ceessid of werk.
Es una señal entre mí y los hijos de Israel para siempre; porque en seis días el Señor hizo el cielo y la tierra, y en el séptimo día él descansó y tuvo placer en ello.
18 And whanne siche wordis weren fillid, the Lord yaf to Moises, in the hil of Synay, twei stonun tablis of witnessyng, writun with the fyngur of God.
Y cuando terminó su charla con Moisés en el monte Sinaí, le dio las dos piedras de la ley, dos piedras sobre las cuales estaba escrito con el dedo de Dios.
