Exodus 31
1 And the Lord spak to Moyses, `and seide, Lo!
Habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo:
2 Y haue clepid Beseleel bi name, the sone of Hury, sone of Hur, of the lynage of Juda;
“Mira que he llamado por su nombre a Besalel, hijo de Urí, hijo de Hur, de la tribu de Judá;
3 and Y haue fillid hym with the spirit of God, with wisdom, and vndirstondyng, and kunnyng in al werk,
y le he llenado de espíritu divino, de sabiduría, inteligencia y maestría en toda clase de trabajos.
4 to fynde out what euer thing may be maad suteli, of gold, and siluer, and bras, and marbil,
Para inventar diseños y labrar el oro, la plata y el bronce;
5 and gemmes, and dyuersite of trees.
para grabar piedras de engaste, para tallar la madera y ejecutar cualquier otra obra.
6 And Y haue youe to hym a felowe, Ooliab, the sone of Achisameth, of the kynrede of Dan; and Y haue put in `the herte of hem the wisdom of ech lerned man, that thei make alle thingis, whiche Y comaundide to thee;
Y mira que le he dado por compañero a Oholiab, hijo de Ahisamac, de la tribu de Dan; y además he infundido sabiduría en el corazón de todos los hombres hábiles, para que hagan todo lo que te he mandado:
7 the tabernacle of boond of pees, and the arke of witnessyng, and the propiciatorie, ether table, which is theronne, and alle the vessels of the tabernacle;
el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, el Arca del Testimonio, el propiciatorio que la cubre, con todos los utensilios del Tabernáculo;
8 also the bord, and vessels therof, the clenneste candilstike with hise vessels, and the auteris of encence,
la mesa con sus utensilios, el candelabro de oro puro, con todos sus utensilios, el altar del incienso,
9 and of brent sacrifice, and alle the vessels of hem; the greet `waischyng vessel with his foundement;
el altar del holocausto, con todos sus utensilios, la pila con su base;
10 hooli clothis in seruyce to Aaron prest, and to hise sones, that thei be set in her office in hooli thingis;
las vestiduras litúrgicas y las vestiduras sagradas de Aarón el sacerdote y las vestiduras de sus hijos para las funciones sacerdotales;
11 the oile of anoyntyng, and encence of swete smellynge spiceryes in the seyntuarie; thei schulen make alle thingis whiche Y comaundide to thee.
el óleo de la unción y el incienso aromático para el Santuario. Ellos lo han de hacer conforme a todo lo que te he ordenado.”
12 And the Lord spak to Moises, `and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel,
Habló Yahvé a Moisés y dijo:
13 and thou schalt seie to hem, Se ye that ye kepe my sabat, for it is a signe bytwixe me and you in youre generaciouns; that ye wite, that Y am the Lord, which halewe you.
“Di a los hijos de Israel: Mirad que guardéis mis sábados; porque el sábado es una señal entre Mí y vosotros, de generación en generación, para que sepáis que Yo, Yahvé soy quien os santifico.
14 Kepe ye my sabat, for it is hooli to you; he that defoulith it, schal die bi deeth, the soule of hym, that doith werk in the sabat, schal perische fro the myddis of his puple.
Guardad el sábado, porque es santo para vosotros. El que lo profane morirá irremisiblemente. Todo el que trabajare en él, será exterminado de en medio de su pueblo.
15 Sixe daies ye schulen do werk; in the seuenthe dai is sabat, hooli reste to the Lord; ech man that doith werk in this dai schal die.
Seis días se trabajará; mas el día séptimo será día de descanso completo, consagrado a Yahvé. Todo aquel que trabaje en sábado, morirá irremisiblemente.
16 The sones of Israel kepe sabat, and halewe it in her generaciouns;
Los hijos de Israel observarán el sábado como pacto perpetuo celebrándolo de generación en generación.
17 it is a couenaunt euerlastinge bitwixe me and the sones of Israel, and it is `a signe euerlastynge; for in sixe daies God made heuene and erthe, and in the seuenthe day he ceessid of werk.
Será entre Mí y los hijos de Israel una señal perpetua; pues en seis días hizo Yahvé el cielo y la tierra, y el día séptimo descansó y reposó.”
18 And whanne siche wordis weren fillid, the Lord yaf to Moises, in the hil of Synay, twei stonun tablis of witnessyng, writun with the fyngur of God.
Después de hablar Dios con Moisés en el monte Sinaí, le dio las dos tablas del Testimonio; tablas de piedra, escritas por el dedo de Dios.
