Exodus 30
1 Also thou schalt make an auter of the trees of Sechym, to brenne encense;
“Harás también un Altar para quemar el incienso. De madera de acacia lo harás.
2 and the auter schal haue a cubit of lengthe, and another cubit of brede, that is foure cornerid, and twei cubitis in heiythe; corneris schulen come forth of the auter.
Será cuadrado: de un codo de largo y de un codo de ancho, y su altura será de dos codos. Sus cuernos formarán un mismo cuerpo con él.
3 And thou schalt clothe it with clennest gold, as wel the gridil therof, as the wallis and corneris bi cumpas therof; and thou schalt make to the auter a litil goldun coroun,
Lo revestirás de oro puro, tanto su parte superior como sus cuatro lados, y sus cuernos. Le harás en torno una guirnalda de oro,
4 `bi cumpas, and twei goldun serclis vndur the coroun by alle sidis, that barris be put in to the serclis, and the auter be borun.
y debajo de la guirnalda, a los costados, dos anillos. Hazlos a ambos lados, para pasar por ellas las varas con que transportarlo.
5 Also thou schalt make tho barris of the trees of Sechym, and thou schalt ouergilde;
Fabricarás las varas tomando madera de acacia y las recubrirás de oro.
6 and thou schalt sette the auter ayens the veil, which veil hangith bifor the ark of witnessyng bifor the propiciatorie, bi which the witnessyng is hilid, where Y schal speke to thee.
Lo colocarás delante del velo que está ante el Arca del Testimonio y ante el propiciatorio que se halla encima del Testimonio, donde Yo me entrevistaré contigo.
7 And Aaron schal brenne theronne encense smellynge swetly eerli; whanne he schal araye the lanternes, he schal brenne it;
Aarón quemará en él incienso aromático; lo quemará todas las mañanas, al preparar las lámparas,
8 and whanne he settith the lanternes at euentid, he schal brenne euerlastynge encense bifor the Lord, in to youre generaciouns.
y lo quemará Aarón también cuando entre las dos tardes preparare las luces. Será incienso continuo ante Yahvé de generación en generación.
9 Ye schulen not offre theronne encense of other makyng, nethir offryng, and slayn sacrifice, nether ye schulen offre fletynge offryngis thereonne.
No ofrezcáis sobre él incienso extraño, ni holocausto ni ofrendas, ni derraméis sobre él libación alguna.
10 And Aaron schal preie on the corneres therof onis bi the yeer, in the blood which is offrid for synne, and he schal plese theronne in youre generaciouns; it schal be the hooli of hooli thingis to the Lord.
Una vez al año hará Aarón expiación sobre los cuernos de este altar con la sangre del sacrificio por el pecado. Una vez cada año hará sobre él expiación para vuestros descendientes. Cosa santísima es esta para Yahvé.”
11 And the Lord spak to Moises,
Habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo:
12 and seide, Whanne thou schalt take the summe of the sones of Israel, alle bi hem silf schulen yyue `bi the noumbre prijs for her soulis to the Lord, and veniaunce schal not be in hem, whanne thei ben noumbrid.
“Cuando contares el número de los hijos de Israel, para hacer su censo, cada uno de ellos pagará a Yahvé un rescate por su vida al ser empadronados, para que no haya plaga entre ellos con motivo del empadronamiento.
13 Sotheli ech that passith to the name, schal yyue this, half a sicle bi the mesure of the temple; a sicle hath twenti halpens; the myddil part of a cicle schal be offrid to the Lord.
Esto es lo que ha de dar cada uno de los empadronados: medio siclo, según el peso del Santuario. Un siclo son veinte gueras. Medio siclo es, pues, el tributo que se ha de dar a Yahvé.
14 He that is hadde in noumbre, fro twenti yeer and aboue,
Todos los empadronados, de veinte años para arriba, pagarán el tributo a Yahvé.
15 schal yyue prijs; a riche man schal not adde to the myddil of cicle, and a pore man schal no thing abate.
El rico no dará más, ni el pobre menos del medio siclo, al pagar el tributo a Yahvé como rescate de vuestras vidas.
16 And thou schalt bitake in to vsis of the tabernacle of witnessyng the money takun, which is gaderid of the sones of Israel, that it be the mynde of hem bifor the Lord, and he schal be merciful to `the soulis of hem.
Tomarás el dinero del rescate de parte de los hijos de Israel, para emplearlo en el servicio del Tabernáculo de la Reunión; y será para los hijos de Israel un recuerdo ante Yahvé para el rescate de sus vidas.”
17 And the Lord spak to Moises,
Habló Yahvé a Moisés diciendo:
18 and seide, Also thou schalt make a greet vessil of bras with his foundement to waische, and thou schalt sette it bitwixe the tabernacle of witnessyng and the auter `of brent sacrifices; and whanne watir is put therynne,
“Haz una pila de bronce con su base de bronce para las abluciones. Colócala entre el Tabernáculo de la Reunión y el altar y echa agua en ella,
19 Aaron and hise sones schulen waische therynne her hondis and feet,
para que Aarón y sus hijos se laven en ella las manos y los pies.
20 whanne thei schulen entre in to the tabernacle of witnessyng, and whanne thei schulen neiye to the auter that thei offre therynne encense to the Lord,
Antes de entrar en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión se han de lavar con agua para que no mueran, y también antes de acercarse al altar para el ministerio, para quemar un sacrificio en honor de Yahvé.
21 lest perauenture thei dien; it schal be a lawful thing euerlastinge to hym and to his seed bi successiouns.
Se lavarán las manos y los pies, para que no mueran. Esta será ley perpetua para ellos, para Aarón y sus descendientes de generación en generación.”
22 And the Lord spak to Moises,
Habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo:
23 and seide, Take to thee swete smellynge spiceries, of the firste and chosun myrre, fyue hundrid siclis; and of canel the half, that is, twei hundrid and fifti siclis;
“Y tú, toma de los mejores aromas de mirra pura quinientos (siclos); de canela aromática la mitad de esto, o sea doscientos cincuenta, de caña aromática doscientos cincuenta,
24 in lijk maner of calamy twei hundrid and fifti siclis; also of casia fyue hundrid siclis, in the weiyte of seyntuarie; oile of olyue trees, the mesure hyn;
de casia quinientos, según el siclo del Santuario, y un hin de aceite de olivas.
25 and thou schalt make the hooly oile of anoyntyng, an oynement maad bi the werk of a `makere of oynement.
Con ello formarás el óleo para la unción sagrada, perfume oloroso compuesto según el arte de perfumería. Este será el óleo para la unción sagrada.
26 And thou schal anoynte therof the tabernacle of witnessyng, and the ark of testament, and the boord with hise vessels,
Con él ungirás el Tabernáculo de la Reunión y el Arca del Testimonio,
27 the candilstike, and the purtenaunces therof, the auteris of encense,
la mesa con todos sus utensilios, el candelabro con todos sus utensilios, el altar del incienso,
28 and of brent sacrifice, and al the purtenaunce, that perteyneth to the ournyng of tho.
el altar del holocausto con todos sus utensilios y la pila con su base.
29 And thou schalt halewe alle thingis, and tho schulen be the hooli of holi thingis; he that schal touche tho, schal be halewid.
Así los santificarás y serán cosa santísima. Todo el que los toque quedará santificado.
30 Thou schalt anoynte Aaron, and hise sones, and thou schalt halewe hem, that thei be set in presthod to me.
Ungirás también a Aarón y a sus hijos y los consagrarás, para que me sirvan de sacerdotes.”
31 And thou schalt seie to the sones of Israel, This oile of anoyntyng schal be hooli to me in to youre generaciouns.
Y hablarás a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: “Este será para Mí el óleo de la unción sagrada de generación en generación.
32 The fleisch of man schal not be anoyntid therof, and bi the makyng therof ye schulen not make another, for it is halewid, and it schal be hooli to you.
No debe derramarse sobre ningún hombre, y en cuanto a su composición no haréis ninguno parecido a él. Santo es y lo tendréis por cosa sagrada.
33 What euer man makith sich oile, and yyueth therof to an alien, he schal be `destried fro his puple.
Cualquiera que elabore algo semejante o derrame de él sobre persona extraña será exterminado de en medio de su pueblo.”
34 Forsothe the Lord seide to Moises, Take to thee swete smellynge spyceries, stacten, and onyca, galban of good odour, and pureste encense, alle schulen be of euene weiyte.
Dijo Yahvé a Moisés: “Toma por cantidades iguales los siguientes aromas: resina, uña odorífera y gálbano, especias aromáticas e incienso puro.
35 And thou schal make encence, maad by werk of oynement makere, meddlid diligentli, and pure, and moost worthi of halewyng.
Con ello harás, según el arte de perfumería, un incienso perfumado, sazonado con sal, puro y santo;
36 And whanne thou hast powned alle thingis in to smalleste poudre, thou schalt putte therof bifor the tabernacle of witnessyng, in which place Y schal appere to thee; encense schal be to you the hooli of hooli thingis.
del cual pulverizarás una parte que pondrás delante del Testimonio en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, donde Yo me entrevistaré contigo. Será para vosotros cosa santísima.
37 Ye schulen not make siche a makyng in to youre vsis, for it is hooli to the Lord.
Y en cuanto a la composición de este incienso que vas a hacer, no la imitéis para vuestro uso. Lo tendrás por consagrado a Yahvé.
38 What euer man makith a lijk thing, that he vse the odour therof, he schal perische fro his puple.
Cualquiera que prepare otro semejante para aspirar su fragancia, será exterminado de en medio de su pueblo.”
