Exodus 28
1 Also applie thou to thee Aaron, thi brother, with hise sones, fro the myddis of the sones of Israel, that Aaron, Nadab, and Abyu, Eleazar, and Ythamar, be set in preesthod to me.
Haz que tu hermano Aarón venga a ti, junto con sus hijos Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar. Ellos, de todos los israelitas, me servirán como sacerdotes.
2 And thou schalt make an hooli clooth to Aaron, thi brother, in to glorie and fairenesse.
Harás que se hagan ropas sagradas para tu hermano Aarón para que se vea espléndido y digno.
3 And thou schalt speke to alle wise men in herte, whiche Y haue fillid with the spirit of prudence, that thei make clothis to Aaron, in whiche he schal be halewid, and schal mynystre to me.
Debes dar instrucciones a todos los obreros hábiles, a los que han recibido de mí sus habilidades, sobre cómo hacer la ropa para la dedicación de Aarón, para que pueda servirme como sacerdote.
4 Forsothe these schulen be the clothis, whiche thei schulen make; `thei schulen make racional, and a clooth on the schuldris, a coote, and a streyt lynnun clooth, a mytre, and a girdil; hooli cloothis to Aaron, thi brother, and to hise sones, that thei be set in preesthod to me.
Estas son las ropas que deben hacer: un pectoral, un efod, una túnica, una túnica plisada, un turbante y una faja. Estos son los vestidos sagrados que harán para tu hermano Aarón y sus hijos para que puedan servirme como sacerdote.
5 And thei schulen take gold, and iacynt, and purpur, and `reed selk twies died, and bijs;
Los trabajadores usarán hilo de oro, junto con hilo azul, púrpura y carmesí, y lino finamente hilado.
6 forsothe thei schulen make the clooth on the schuldris of gold, and of iacynt, and purpur, and of `reed selk twies died, and of bijs foldid ayen, bi broyderi werk of dyuerse colours.
Harán el efod de lino finamente tejido y bordado con oro, y con hilos azules, púrpura y carmesí, hábilmente trabajado.
7 It schal haue twey hemmes ioyned in euer either side of hiynessis, that tho go ayen in to oon.
Dos piezas de hombro deben ser unidas a las piezas delanteras y traseras.
8 Thilke weuyng, and al dyuersite of the werk schal be of gold, and iacynt, and purpur, and of `reed selk twies died, and bijs foldis ayen.
La cintura del efod será una pieza hecha de la misma manera, usando hilo de oro, con hilo azul, púrpura y carmesí, y con lino finamente tejido.
9 And thou schalt take twei stoonys of onychym, and thou schalt graue in tho the names of the sones of Israel,
Escribe en dos piedras de ónice los nombres de las tribus de Israel,
10 sixe names in o stoon, and sixe othere in the tother stoon, bi the ordre of her birthe;
seis nombres en una piedra, y seis en la otra, en orden de nacimiento.
11 bi the werk of a grauere, and bi the peyntyng of a man that ourneth with gemmes thou schalt graue tho stoonys, with the names of the sones of Israel; and thou schalt enclose and cumpasse in gold.
Escribe los nombres en las dos piedras de la misma manera que un joyero graba un sello personal. Luego coloque las piedras en un adorno de oro.
12 And thou schalt sette tho stoonus in euer either side of the cloth on the schuldris, a memorial to the sones of Israel; and Aaron schal bere the names of hem bifor the Lord on euer either schuldre, for remembryng.
Ata ambas piedras a las piezas del hombro del efod como recordatorio para las tribus israelitas. Aarón debe llevar sus nombres en sus dos hombros para recordar a los israelitas que los representa cuando va a la presencia del Señor.
13 And thou schalt make hookis of gold,
Hagan adornos de oro
14 and twey litil chaynes of clenneste gold, cleuynge to hem silf togidere, whiche litil chaynes thou schalt sette in the hookis.
y dos cadenas trenzadas de oro puro, y sujetar estas cadenas a los adornos.
15 Also thou schalt make the racional of doom by werk of dyuerse colours, bi the weuyng of the cloth on the schuldre, of gold, iacynt, and purpur, of `reed silk twies died, and of bijs foldid ayen.
También debe hacer un pectoral para las decisiones de la misma manera hábil que el efod, para ser usado en la determinación de la voluntad del Señor. Háganlo usando hilo de oro, con hilo azul, púrpura y carmesí, y con lino finamente tejido.
16 It schal be foure cornerid, and double; it schal haue the mesure of a pawme of the hond, as wel in lengthe, as in breede.
Tiene que ser cuadrado cuando se pliega, midiendo alrededor de nueve pulgadas de largo y ancho.
17 And thou schalt sette ther ynne foure ordris of stoonys; in the firste ordre schal be the stoon sardius, and topazyus, and smaragdus;
Adjunta un arreglo de piedras preciosas en cuatro filas como sigue: En la primera fila cornalina, peridoto y esmeralda.
18 in the secunde ordre schal be charbuncle, safir, and iaspis; in the thridde ordre schal be ligurie,
En la segunda fila turquesa, lapislázuli y sardónice.
19 achates, and ametiste;
En la tercera fila jacinto, ágata y amatista.
20 in the fourthe ordre schal be crisolitus, onochyn, and berille; tho schulen be closid in gold, bi her ordris,
En la cuarta fila topacio, berilo y jaspe. Coloca estas piedras en los adornos de oro.
21 and schulen haue the names of the sones of Israel: tho schulen be graven with twelue names; al stonus bi hem silf, with the names of the sones `of Israel bi hem silf, bi twelue lynagis.
Cada una de las doce piedras se grabará como un sello personal con el nombre de una de las doce tribus israelitas y las representará.
22 Thou schalt make in the racional chaynes cleuynge to hem silf togidere of pureste gold,
Haz cordones de cadenas trenzadas de oro puro para sujetar el pectoral.
23 and thou schalt make twei goldun ryngis, whiche thou schalt sette in euer either hiynesse of racional.
Harás dos anillos de oro y sujételos a las dos esquinas superiores del pectoral.
24 And thou schalt ioyne the goldun chaynes with the ryngis that ben in the brynkis therof,
Ata las dos cadenas de oro a los dos anillos de oro de las esquinas del pectoral,
25 and thou schalt couple the `last thingis of tho chaynes to twey hookis in euer either side of the `cloth on the schuldur, that biholdith the racional.
y luego ata los extremos opuestos de las dos cadenas a los adornos de oro de los hombros de la parte delantera del efod.
26 And thou schalt make twei goldun ryngis, whiche thou schalt sette in the hiynesses of the racional, and in the hemmes of the cloth on the schuldur, that ben euene ayens, and biholden the lattere thingis therof.
Haz dos anillos de oro más y fíjelos a las dos esquinas inferiores del pectoral, en el borde interior junto al efod.
27 Also and thou schalt make tweyne othere goldun ryngis, that schulen be set in euer either side of the clooth on the schuldur bynethe, that biholdith ayens the face of the lowere ioynyng, that it may be set couenabli with the `cloth on the schuldre.
Haz dos anillos de oro más y póngalos en la parte inferior de las dos hombreras de la parte delantera del efod, cerca de donde se une a su cintura tejida.
28 And the racional be boundun bi hise ryngis with the ryngis of the `cloth on the schuldre, with a lace of iacynt, that the ioyning maad craftili dwelle, and that the racional and `cloth on the schuldre moun not be departid ech fro other.
Ata los anillos del pectoral a los anillos del efod con un cordón de hilo azul, para que el pectoral no se suelte del efod.
29 And Aaron schal bere the names of the sones of Israel in the racional of doom on his brest, whanne he entrith in to the seyntuarie, a memorial bifor the Lord with outen ende.
Así, cada vez que Aarón entre en el Lugar Santo, llevará los nombres de las tribus israelitas sobre su corazón en el pectoral, como un recordatorio constante ante el Señor.
30 Forsothe thou schalt sette in the racional of doom, techyng, and treuthe, whiche schulen be in the brest of Aaron, whanne he entrith bifor the Lord, and he schal bere the doom of the sones of Israel in his brest in the siyt of the Lord euere.
Coloca el Urim y Tumim en el pectoral de la decisión, para que ellos también estén sobre el corazón de Aarón siempre que venga a la presencia del Señor. Aarón llevará continuamente los medios de decisión sobre su corazón ante el Señor.
31 And thou schalt make the coote of the `cloth on the schuldre al of iacynt,
Haz la túnica que va con el efod exclusivamente de tela azul,
32 in whos myddil aboue schal be an hood, and a wouun hemme `bi cumpas therof, as it is wont to be don in the hemmes of clothis, lest it be brokun liytli.
con una abertura en el medio en la parte superior. Cose un cuello tejido alrededor de la abertura para fortalecerla y que no se rompa.
33 Forsothe bynethe at the feet of the same coote, bi cumpas, thou schalt make as `piyn applis, of iacynt, and purpur, of `reed selk twies died, and of biis foldid ayen; while smale bellis ben medlid in the myddis,
Haz las granadas con los hilos azul, púrpura y carmesí y pégalas alrededor de su dobladillo, con campanas de oro entre ellas,
34 so that a litil `belle of gold be and a `piyn appil, and eft another litel belle of gold and a `pyn appil.
teniendo las campanas de oro y las granadas alternadas.
35 And Aaron schal be clothid with that coote in the office of seruyce, that sown be herd, whanne he entrith in to the seyntuarie, and goith out, in the siyt of the Lord; and that he die not.
Aarón debe llevar la túnica siempre que sirva, y el sonido que haga se oirá cuando entre o salga del santuario al entrar en la presencia del Señor, para que no muera.
36 And thou schalt make a plate of pureste gold, in which thou schalt graue bi the werk of a grauere, the holi to the Lord.
Haz una placa de oro puro y grabad en ella como un sello, “Consagradoal Señor”.
37 And thou schalt bynde that plate with a lace of iacynt, and it schal be on the mytre,
Pónganlo en la parte delantera del turbante con un cordón azul.
38 and schal neiye the forheed of the bischop. And Aaron schal bere the wickidnessis of hem whiche the sones of Israel `offeriden, and halewiden in alle her yiftis and fre yiftis; forsothe the plate schal euere be in `his forhed, that the Lord be plesid to him.
Aarón lo llevará en la frente, para que se responsabilice de la culpa de las ofrendas que hagan los israelitas, y esto se aplica a todas sus santas ofrendas. Debe permanecer siempre en su frente para que el pueblo sea aceptado en la presencia del Señor.
39 And thou schalt bynde the coot of biis, and the myter of bijs, and thou schalt make also a girdil, `bi werk of broiderye.
Teje la túnica con lino finamente hilado y haz el turbante del mismo material, y también haz la faja y con bordado.
40 Forsothe thou schalt make redi to `the sones of Aaron linnun cootis, and girdlis, and mytris, in to glorie and fairnesse.
Haz túnicas, fajas y tocados para los hijos de Aarón, para que tengan un aspecto espléndido y digno.
41 And thou schalt clothe Aaron, thi brother, with alle these, and hise sones with hym. And thou schalt sacre the hondis of alle; and thou schalt halewe hem, that thei be set in preesthood to me.
Haz que tu hermano Aarón y sus hijos vistan esta ropa y luego úngelos y ordénalos. Dedícalos para que puedan servirme como sacerdotes.
42 Also thou schalt make lynnun brechis, that thei hile the fleisch of her filthe fro the reynes `til to the hipis.
Elabora calzoncillos de lino para cubrir sus cuerpos desnudos, desde la cintura hasta el muslo.
43 And Aaron and hise sones schulen vse tho, whanne thei schulen entre in to the tabernacle of witnessyng, ether whanne thei neiyen to the auter, that thei mynystren in the seyntuarie, lest thei ben gilti of wickidnesse, and dien; it schal be a lawful thing euerlastynge to Aaron, and to his seed after hym.
Aarón y sus hijos deben usarlos cuando entren a el Tabernáculo de Reunión o cuando se acerquen al altar para servir en el Lugar Santo, para que no seanhallados culpables y mueran. Esta es una ley para Aarón y sus descendientes para siempre.
