Exodus 17
1 Therfor al the multitude of the sones of Israel yede forth fro the deseert of Syn, bi her dwellyngis, bi the word of the Lord, and settiden tentis in Rafidym, where was not watir to the puple to drynke.
Bütün İsrail övladlarının icması Sin səhrasından yola düşüb Rəbbin buyurduğuna görə dayana-dayana köç edirdilər. Onlar Refidimdə düşərgə saldılar. Orada xalqın içməyə suyu yox idi.
2 Whiche puple chidde ayens Moises, and seide, Yyue thou water to vs, that we drynke. To whiche Moises answeride, What chiden ye ayens me, and whi tempten ye the Lord?
Ona görə də xalq Musa ilə münaqişə edib belə dedi: «Bizə içməyə su verin». Musa onlara dedi: «Niyə mənimlə münaqişə edirsiniz? Nə üçün Rəbbi sınayırsınız?»
3 Therfor the puple thristide there for the scarsnesse of watir, and grutchiden ayens Moises, and seide, Whi madist thou vs to go out of Egipt, to sle vs, and oure fre children, and beestis, for thrist?
Xalq orada olanda susamışdı. Ona görə də Musanın əlindən deyinib dedi: «Axı niyə bizi Misirdən çıxartdın? Bu bizi, oğullarımızı və heyvanlarımızı susuzluqdan öldürmək üçündürmü?»
4 Forsothe Moises criede to the Lord, and seide, What schal Y do to this puple? yit a litil, also it schal stone me.
Musa Rəbbə fəryad edib dedi: «Axı mən bu xalq ilə nə edim? Bir az da keçsə, məni daşqalaq edəcəklər».
5 The Lord seide to Moises, Go thou bifore the puple, and take with thee of the eldre men of Israel, and take in thin hond the yerde, `bi which thou hast smyte the flood, and go; lo!
Rəbb Musaya dedi: «Xalqın qarşısına çıx. Özünlə bərabər bir neçə İsrail ağsaqqalı götür. Nil çayına vurduğun əsanı əlinə alıb irəli get.
6 Y schal stonde there before thee, aboue the stoon of Oreb, and thou schalt smyte the stoon, and water schal go out therof, that the puple drynke. Moises dide so byfore the eldere men of Israel;
Orada – Xorevdəki qayanın üstündə Mən sənin önündə dayanacağam. Zərbə ilə qayaya vur və oradan xalq üçün içməli su çıxacaq». Musa da İsrail ağsaqqallarının gözü qarşısında bunu etdi.
7 and he clepide the name of that place Temptacioun, for the chidyng of the sones of Israel, and for thei temptiden the Lord, and seiden, Whether the Lord is in vs, ether nay?
Musa o yeri Massa və Meriva adlandırdı, çünki orada İsrail övladları münaqişə etmişdilər və «görəsən Rəbb aramızdadır ya yox» deyə Rəbbi sınamışdılar.
8 Forsothe Amalech cam, and fauyt ayens Israel in Rafidym.
Bundan sonra Amaleqlilər gəlib Refidimdə İsrail övladları ilə döyüşdülər.
9 And Moises seide to Josue, Chese thou men, and go out, and fiyte to morewe ayens men of Amalech; lo! Y schal stonde in the cop of the hil, and Y schal haue `the yerde of God in myn hond.
Musa Yeşuaya dedi: «Bizim üçün bir neçə adam seç, get Amaleqlilərlə döyüş. Sabah mən əlimdə Allahın əsası ilə təpənin başında dayanacağam».
10 Josue dide as Moises spak, and fauyt ayens Amalech. Forsothe Moises, and Aaron, and Hur stieden on the cop of the hil;
Yeşua da Musa deyən kimi etdi və gedib Amaleqlilərlə döyüşdü. Musa, Harun və Xur isə təpənin başına çıxdılar.
11 and whanne Moises reiside the hondis, Israel ouercam; forsothe if he let down a litil, Amalech ouercam.
Musa əlini qaldıranda İsrail övladları üstün gəlirdi, əlini endirəndə isə Amaleqlilər üstün gəlirdi.
12 Sotheli `the hondis of Moises weren heuy, therfor thei token a stoon, and puttide vndir hym, in which stoon he sat. Forsothe Aaron and Hur susteyneden hise hondis, on euer eithir side; and it was don, that hise hondis weren not maad weri, til to the goyng down of the sunne.
Lakin Musanın əlləri yorulurdu. Ona görə də bir daş götürüb onun altına qoydular. Musa daşın üstündə oturdu. Əlinin birindən Harun, o birisindən isə Xur yapışdı. Beləcə Musanın gün batanacan əlləri möhkəm qaldı.
13 And Josue droof a wey Amalech and his puple, in `the mouth of swerd, that is, bi the scharpnesse of the swerd.
Yeşua Amaleq padşahını və xalqını qılıncdan keçirib qırdı.
14 Forsothe the Lord seide to Moises, Wryte thou this in a book, for mynde, and take in the eeris of Josue; for Y schal do a wei the mynde of Amalech fro vndur heuene.
Rəbb Musaya dedi: «Bunu xatirə olaraq kitaba yaz, Yeşuanın qulağına çatdır ki, Mən Amaleqin adını büsbütün yer üzərindən siləcəyəm».
15 And Moises bildide an auter, and clepide the name therof The Lord myn enhaunsere,
Musa bir qurbangah düzəldərək adını Yahve-Nissi qoyub
16 and seide, For the hond of the Lord aloone, and the bateil of God schal be ayens Amalech, fro generacioun in to generacioun.
dedi: «Rəbbin taxtına doğru əl uzadılırdı. O, nəsildən-nəslə Amaleqlilərə qarşı döyüşəcək».
