Exodus 10
1 And the Lord seide to Moises, Entre thou to Farao, for Y haue maad hard the herte of hym, and of hise seruauntis, that Y do these signes `of me in hym;
Und Jehova sprach zu Mose: Gehe zu dem Pharao hinein, denn ich habe sein Herz verstockt und das Herz seiner Knechte, um diese meine Zeichen in seiner Mitte zu tun
2 and that thou telle in the eeris of thi sone and of `thi sones sones, how ofte Y al to-brak Egipcians, and dide signes in hem; and that ye wyte that Y am the Lord.
und damit du vor den Ohren deiner Kinder und deiner Kindeskinder erzählest, was ich in Ägypten ausgerichtet, und meine Zeichen, die ich unter ihnen getan habe; und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich Jehova bin.
3 Therfore Moises and Aaron entriden to Farao, and seiden to hym, The Lord God of Ebrews seith these thingis, How long `nylt thou be maad suget to me? Delyuere thou my puple, that it make sacrifice to me; ellis sotheli if thou ayenstondist,
Da gingen Mose und Aaron zu dem Pharao hinein und sprachen zu ihm: So spricht Jehova, der Gott der Hebräer: Bis wann weigerst du dich, dich vor mir zu demütigen? Laß mein Volk ziehen, daß sie mir dienen!
4 and nylt delyuere it, lo! Y schal brynge in to morewe a locuste in to thi coostis,
Denn wenn du dich weigerst, mein Volk ziehen zu lassen, siehe, so will ich morgen Heuschrecken in dein Gebiet bringen;
5 which schal hile the hiyere part of erthe, nether ony thing therof schal appere, but that, that was `residue to the hail schal be etun; for it schal gnawe alle the trees that buriounnen in feeldis;
und sie werden das Angesicht des Landes bedecken, daß man das Land nicht wird sehen können; und sie werden das Übrige fressen, das entronnen, das euch übriggeblieben ist von dem Hagel, und werden alle Bäume fressen, die euch auf dem Felde wachsen;
6 and tho schulen fille thin howsis, and the howsis of thi seruauntis, and of alle Egipcians, hou greet thi fadris and grauntsiris sien not, sithen thei weren borun on erthe, til in to present dai. And Moises turnede awei hym silf, and yede out fro Farao.
und sie werden deine Häuser erfüllen und die Häuser aller deiner Knechte und die Häuser aller Ägypter, wie es deine Väter und die Väter deiner Väter nicht gesehen haben, seit dem Tage, da sie auf Erden gewesen sind, bis auf diesen Tag. Und er wandte sich und ging von dem Pharao hinaus.
7 Forsothe the seruauntis of Farao seiden to hym, Hou longe schulen we suffre this sclaundre? Delyuere the men, that thei make sacrifice to `her Lord God; seest thou not that Egipt perischide?
Und die Knechte des Pharao sprachen zu ihm: Bis wann soll uns dieser zum Fallstrick sein? Laß die Leute ziehen, daß sie Jehova, ihrem Gott, dienen! Erkennst du noch nicht, daß Ägypten zu Grunde geht?
8 And thei ayen clepiden Moises and Aaron to Farao, and he seide to hem, Go ye, and make ye sacrifice to `youre Lord God; whiche ben thei, that schulen go?
Und Mose und Aaron wurden wieder zu dem Pharao gebracht, und er sprach zu ihnen: Ziehet hin, dienet Jehova, eurem Gott! Welche alle sind es, die ziehen sollen?
9 Moises seide, We schulen go with oure litle children and eldre, and with sones, and douytris, with scheep, and grete beestis; for it is the solempnyte of `oure Lord God.
Da sprach Mose: Mit unseren Jungen und mit unseren Alten wollen wir ziehen, mit unseren Söhnen und mit unseren Töchtern, mit unserem Kleinvieh und mit unseren Rindern wollen wir ziehen; denn wir haben ein Fest Jehovas.
10 And Farao answeride, So the Lord be with you; hou therfor schal Y delyuere you and youre litle children? to whom is it doute, that ye thenken worst?
Und er sprach zu ihnen: Jehova sei so mit euch, wie ich euch und eure Kinder ziehen lasse! Sehet zu, denn ihr habt Böses vor!
11 It schal `not be so; but go ye men oneli, and make ye sacrifice to the Lord; for also ye axiden this. And anoon thei weren cast out fro the siyt of Farao.
Nicht also! Ziehet doch hin, ihr Männer, und dienet Jehova; denn das ist es, was ihr begehrt habt. Und man trieb sie von dem Pharao hinaus.
12 Forsothe the Lord seide to Moises, Holde forth thi hond on the lond of Egipt, to a locust, that it stie on the lond, and deuoure al the eerbe which is residue to the hail.
Und Jehova sprach zu Mose: Strecke deine Hand aus über das Land Ägypten wegen der Heuschrecken, daß sie über das Land Ägypten heraufkommen und alles Kraut des Landes fressen, alles was der Hagel übriggelassen hat.
13 And Moises helde forthe the yerde on the lond of Egipt, and the Lord brouyte in a brennynge wynd al that dai and niyt; and whanne the morewtid was maad, the brennynge wynd reiside locustis, whiche stieden on al the lond of Egipt,
Und Mose streckte seinen Stab aus über das Land Ägypten, und Jehova führte einen Ostwind ins Land selbigen ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht. Als es Morgen wurde, da trieb der Ostwind die Heuschrecken herbei.
14 and saten in alle the coostis of Egipcians; `and the locustis weren vnnoumbrable, and suche weren not bifore that tyme, nether schulen come aftirward.
Und die Heuschrecken kamen herauf über das ganze Land Ägypten und ließen sich in dem ganzen Gebiet Ägyptens nieder, in gewaltiger Menge; vor ihnen sind nicht derart Heuschrecken gewesen wie diese, und nach ihnen werden nicht derart sein.
15 And tho hiliden al the face of the erthe, and wastiden alle thingis; therfor the eerbe of the erthe was deuourid, and what euere of applis was in trees, whiche the hail hadde left, `it was deuourid; and outirli no green thing was left in trees and in eerbis of erthe, in al Egipt.
Und sie bedeckten das Angesicht des ganzen Landes, so daß das Land verfinstert wurde; und sie fraßen alles Kraut des Landes und alle Früchte der Bäume, die der Hagel übriggelassen hatte; und es blieb nichts Grünes übrig an den Bäumen und am Kraut des Feldes im ganzen Lande Ägypten.
16 Wherfor Farao hastide, and clepide Moises and Aaron, and seide to hem, Y haue synned ayens youre Lord God, and ayens yow;
Und der Pharao rief Mose und Aaron eilends und sprach: Ich habe gesündigt gegen Jehova, euren Gott, und gegen euch!
17 but now foryyue ye the synne to me; also in this tyme preie ye youre Lord God, that he take awey fro me this deeth.
Und nun vergib doch meine Sünde nur dieses Mal, und flehet zu Jehova, eurem Gott, daß er nur diesen Tod von mir wegnehme!
18 And Moises yede out of the siyt of Farao, and preiede the Lord;
Da ging er von dem Pharao hinaus und flehte zu Jehova.
19 which made a moost strong wynd to blowe fro the west, and took, and castide the locust in to the reed see; `noon dwellide, sotheli nether oon, in alle the coostis of Egipt.
Und Jehova wandte den Wind in einen sehr starken Westwind, der hob die Heuschrecken auf und warf sie ins Schilfmeer. Es blieb nicht eine Heuschrecke übrig in dem ganzen Gebiet Ägyptens.
20 And the Lord made hard the herte of Farao, and he lefte not the sones of Israel.
Und Jehova verhärtete das Herz des Pharao, und er ließ die Kinder Israel nicht ziehen.
21 Forsothe the Lord seide to Moises, Holde forth thin hond in to heuene, and derknessis be on the lond of Egipt, so thicke that tho moun be gropid.
Und Jehova sprach zu Mose: Strecke deine Hand aus gen Himmel, daß eine Finsternis über das Land Ägypten komme, so daß man die Finsternis greifen möge.
22 And Moises helde forth the hond in to heuene, and orrible derknessis weren maad in al the lond of Egipt;
Und Mose streckte seine Hand aus gen Himmel; da entstand im ganzen Lande Ägypten eine dichte Finsternis drei Tage lang.
23 in thre daies no man seiy his brother, nether mouede him silf fro that place in which he was. Whereuer the sones of Israel dwelliden, liyt was.
Sie sahen einer den anderen nicht, und keiner stand von seinem Platze auf drei Tage lang; aber alle Kinder Israel hatten Licht in ihren Wohnungen. -
24 And Farao clepide Moises and Aaron, and seide to hem, Go ye, make ye sacrifice to the Lord; oneli youre scheep and grete beestis dwelle stille; youre litle children go with you.
Und der Pharao rief Mose und sprach: Ziehet hin, dienet Jehova; nur euer Kleinvieh und eure Rinder sollen zurückbleiben; auch eure Kinder mögen mit euch ziehen.
25 Moises seide, Also thou schalt yyue to vs offryngis and brent sacrifices, whiche we schulen offre to `oure Lord God;
Und Mose sprach: Auch Schlachtopfer und Brandopfer mußt du in unsere Hände geben, daß wir Jehova, unserem Gott opfern.
26 alle the flockis schulen go with vs, for `a cle schal not dwelle of tho thingis, that ben nedeful in to the worschipyng of `oure Lord God, moost sithen we witen not what owith to be offrid, til we comen to that place.
So muß auch unser Vieh mit uns ziehen, nicht eine Klaue darf zurückbleiben; denn davon werden wir nehmen, um Jehova, unserem Gott, zu dienen; wir wissen ja nicht, womit wir Jehova dienen sollen, bis wir dorthin kommen.
27 Forsothe the Lord made hard the herte of Farao, and he nolde delyuere hem.
Aber Jehova verhärtete das Herz des Pharao, und er wollte sie nicht ziehen lassen.
28 And Farao seide to Moises, Go awei fro me, and be war that thou se no more my face; in whateuer dai thou schalt appere to me, thou schalt die.
Und der Pharao sprach zu ihm: Gehe hinweg von mir; hüte dich, sieh mein Angesicht nicht wieder! Denn an dem Tage, da du mein Angesicht siehst, wirst du sterben.
29 Moyses answeride, Be it doon so, as thou hast spokun; I schal no more se thi face.
Und Mose sprach: Du hast recht geredet, ich werde dein Angesicht nicht mehr wiedersehen.
