Exodus 10
1 And the Lord seide to Moises, Entre thou to Farao, for Y haue maad hard the herte of hym, and of hise seruauntis, that Y do these signes `of me in hym;
Ja Herra sanoi Mosekselle: mene Pharaon tykö; sillä minä paadutin hänen ja hänen palveliainsa sydämet, tehdäkseni nämät minun ihmeeni heidän seassansa.
2 and that thou telle in the eeris of thi sone and of `thi sones sones, how ofte Y al to-brak Egipcians, and dide signes in hem; and that ye wyte that Y am the Lord.
Ja että sinä ilmoittaisit sinun lastes, ja sinun lastes lasten korviin, mitä minä tehnyt olen Egyptissä, ja minun ihmeeni, jotka minä tein heidän seassansa, että te tietäisitte, että minä olen Herra.
3 Therfore Moises and Aaron entriden to Farao, and seiden to hym, The Lord God of Ebrews seith these thingis, How long `nylt thou be maad suget to me? Delyuere thou my puple, that it make sacrifice to me; ellis sotheli if thou ayenstondist,
Niin menivät Moses ja Aaron Pharaon tykö, ja sanoivat hänelle: näin sanoo Herra Hebrealaisten Jumala: kuinka kauan et sinä tahdo nöyryyttää itsiäs minun edessäni? Päästä minun kansani palvelemaan minua;
4 and nylt delyuere it, lo! Y schal brynge in to morewe a locuste in to thi coostis,
Sillä jos sinä estelet päästää minun kansani; katso, niin minä huomenna tuotan heinäsirkat kaikkiin sinun maas ääriin,
5 which schal hile the hiyere part of erthe, nether ony thing therof schal appere, but that, that was `residue to the hail schal be etun; for it schal gnawe alle the trees that buriounnen in feeldis;
Niin että heidän pitää peittämän maan, niin ettei maa pidä näkymän; ja heidän pitää syömän tähteet, mitkä teille on jääneet rakeilta, ja pitää syömän kaikki vihottavaiset puut teidän kedollanne,
6 and tho schulen fille thin howsis, and the howsis of thi seruauntis, and of alle Egipcians, hou greet thi fadris and grauntsiris sien not, sithen thei weren borun on erthe, til in to present dai. And Moises turnede awei hym silf, and yede out fro Farao.
Ja täyttämän sinun huonees, ja kaikkein sinun palveliais huoneet, ja koko Egyptin huoneet; jonka kaltaisia sinun isäs ja isäisisät ei nähneet ole, siitä päivästä kuin he maan päällä olleet ovat tähän päivään asti. Ja hän käänsi itsensä ja meni ulos Pharaon tyköä.
7 Forsothe the seruauntis of Farao seiden to hym, Hou longe schulen we suffre this sclaundre? Delyuere the men, that thei make sacrifice to `her Lord God; seest thou not that Egipt perischide?
Niin sanoivat Pharaon palveliat hänelle: kuinka kauvan pitää hänen oleman meille paulaksi? Päästä kansa palvelemaan Herraa Jumalaansa: etkös vielä tiedä Egyptiä hävitetyksi?
8 And thei ayen clepiden Moises and Aaron to Farao, and he seide to hem, Go ye, and make ye sacrifice to `youre Lord God; whiche ben thei, that schulen go?
Niin Moses ja Aaron palautettiin jällensä Pharaon tykö, joka sanoi heille: menkäät ja palvelkaat Herraa teidän Jumalaanne; vaan kutka ne ovat jotka menevät?
9 Moises seide, We schulen go with oure litle children and eldre, and with sones, and douytris, with scheep, and grete beestis; for it is the solempnyte of `oure Lord God.
Ja Moses sanoi: me menemme meidän nuorten ja vanhain kanssa, poikinemme ja tyttärinemme, lammastemme ja karjamme kanssa; sillä meillä on Herran juhla.
10 And Farao answeride, So the Lord be with you; hou therfor schal Y delyuere you and youre litle children? to whom is it doute, that ye thenken worst?
Ja hän sanoi heille: ikään niin, olkoon Herra teidän kanssanne. Pitäiskö minun päästämän teidät ja teidän lapsenne? Katsokaat, jollei teillä jotakin pahaa sydämessänne ole?
11 It schal `not be so; but go ye men oneli, and make ye sacrifice to the Lord; for also ye axiden this. And anoon thei weren cast out fro the siyt of Farao.
Ei niin, mutta menkäät te miehet ja palvelkaat Herraa; sillä sitä te olette pyytäneetkin. Ja he ajoivat heidät pois Pharaon edestä.
12 Forsothe the Lord seide to Moises, Holde forth thi hond on the lond of Egipt, to a locust, that it stie on the lond, and deuoure al the eerbe which is residue to the hail.
Niin sanoi Herra Mosekselle: ojenna kätes Egyptin maan ylitse heinäsirkkain tähden, että he tulisivat Egyptin maan päälle, ja söisivät kaiken maan vihannon, kaikki mitä rakeilta jäänyt on.
13 And Moises helde forthe the yerde on the lond of Egipt, and the Lord brouyte in a brennynge wynd al that dai and niyt; and whanne the morewtid was maad, the brennynge wynd reiside locustis, whiche stieden on al the lond of Egipt,
Moses ojensi sauvansa Egyptin maan ylitse, ja Herra antoi tulla itätuulen sille maalle kaiken sen päivän ja kaiken sen yön; ja aamulla nosti itätuuli heinäsirkat.
14 and saten in alle the coostis of Egipcians; `and the locustis weren vnnoumbrable, and suche weren not bifore that tyme, nether schulen come aftirward.
Ja tulivat heinäsirkat koko Egyptin maan päälle, laskivat itsensä joka paikkaan Egyptin maalle, niin epälukuiset, ettei heidän kaltaisiansa heinäsirkkoja ennen ollut, eikä tästedes tule.
15 And tho hiliden al the face of the erthe, and wastiden alle thingis; therfor the eerbe of the erthe was deuourid, and what euere of applis was in trees, whiche the hail hadde left, `it was deuourid; and outirli no green thing was left in trees and in eerbis of erthe, in al Egipt.
Ja he peittivät kaiken maan, ja maa tuli mustaksi. Ja söivät kaikki maan vihannon, ja kaikki puiden hedelmät kuin jääneet olivat rakeilta, ja ei jäänyt ensinkään viheriäistä puihin ja kedon ruohoihin koko Egyptin malla.
16 Wherfor Farao hastide, and clepide Moises and Aaron, and seide to hem, Y haue synned ayens youre Lord God, and ayens yow;
Niin kutsui Pharao kiiruusti Moseksen ja Aaronin, ja sanoi: minä olen pahaa tehnyt Herraa teidän Jumalaanne, ja teitä vastaan.
17 but now foryyue ye the synne to me; also in this tyme preie ye youre Lord God, that he take awey fro me this deeth.
Niin anna nyt minulle anteeksi minun rikokseni vielä tällä erällä, ja rukoilkaat Herraa teidän Jumalaanne, että hän ottais minulta pois vielä tämän kuoleman.
18 And Moises yede out of the siyt of Farao, and preiede the Lord;
Ja hän meni pois Pharaon tyköä, ja rukoili Herraa.
19 which made a moost strong wynd to blowe fro the west, and took, and castide the locust in to the reed see; `noon dwellide, sotheli nether oon, in alle the coostis of Egipt.
Niin Herra käänsi tuulen aivan tuimaksi länsituuleksi, ja nostatti heinäsirkat ja heitti heidät Punaiseen mereen, niin ettei yhtäkään heinäsirkkaa jäänyt koko Egyptin maan ääriin.
20 And the Lord made hard the herte of Farao, and he lefte not the sones of Israel.
Mutta Herra paadutti Pharaon sydämen, ja ei hän päästänyt Israelin lapsia.
21 Forsothe the Lord seide to Moises, Holde forth thin hond in to heuene, and derknessis be on the lond of Egipt, so thicke that tho moun be gropid.
Ja Herra sanoi Mosekselle: ojenna kätes taivaaseen päin, että pimeys tulis Egyptin maan päälle, niin että pimeyteen ruveta taidettaisiin.
22 And Moises helde forth the hond in to heuene, and orrible derknessis weren maad in al the lond of Egipt;
Ja Moses ojensi kätensä taivaaseen päin, niin tuli synkiä pimeys koko Egyptin maan päälle kolmeksi päiväksi.
23 in thre daies no man seiy his brother, nether mouede him silf fro that place in which he was. Whereuer the sones of Israel dwelliden, liyt was.
Niin ettei toinen toistansa nähnyt, eikä myös noussut paikastansa kolmena päivänä. Mutta kaikilla Israelin lapsilla oli valkeus heidän asuinsioissansa.
24 And Farao clepide Moises and Aaron, and seide to hem, Go ye, make ye sacrifice to the Lord; oneli youre scheep and grete beestis dwelle stille; youre litle children go with you.
Niin kutsui Pharao Moseksen, ja sanoi: menkäät ja palvelkaat Herraa; ainoastansa teidän lampaanne ja karjanne jääkään tänne: teidän lapsenne menkään myös teidän kanssanne.
25 Moises seide, Also thou schalt yyue to vs offryngis and brent sacrifices, whiche we schulen offre to `oure Lord God;
Moses sanoi: sinun pitää myös salliman minun käsiini uhrini, ja polttouhrin, jota meidän pitää tekemän Herralle meidän Jumalallemme.
26 alle the flockis schulen go with vs, for `a cle schal not dwelle of tho thingis, that ben nedeful in to the worschipyng of `oure Lord God, moost sithen we witen not what owith to be offrid, til we comen to that place.
Meidän karjamme pitää myös menemän meidän kanssamme, ja ei yhtäkään sorkkaa jäämän; sillä siitä meidän pitää ottaman ja tekemän palveluksen Herralle meidän Jumalallemme: ja emme tiedä, millä me palvelemme Herraa, siihenasti kuin me sinne tulemme.
27 Forsothe the Lord made hard the herte of Farao, and he nolde delyuere hem.
Mutta Herra paadutti Pharaon sydämen, ja ei hän tahtonut päästää heitä.
28 And Farao seide to Moises, Go awei fro me, and be war that thou se no more my face; in whateuer dai thou schalt appere to me, thou schalt die.
Ja Pharao sanoi hänelle: mene pois minun tyköäni, ja karta ettes enempi silleen tule minun kasvoini eteen; sillä jona päivänä sinä tulet minun eteeni, pitää sinun kuoleman.
29 Moyses answeride, Be it doon so, as thou hast spokun; I schal no more se thi face.
Moses vastasi: niinkuin sinä sanonut olet, en tule minä enempi sinun kasvois eteen.
